From the Media to (Steve) McFadden we just can’t miss the fact that Mars the red planet is rising in the sky with great intensity. We probably all know that Mars will be closest to Earth in the last 73,000 years. On August 27th Mars will be 34.65 million miles away (or 55.76 million kilometers) and lined up in opposition to the Earth. Perhaps such a dramatic astronomical event may have conjured up images of massive earth changes. Will our worst fears be realized? Will we be weeping like George Harrison’s guitar? Are these visions of the oceans boiling over and volcanoes going off like giant firecrackers in the ring of fire, true? Probably Not! The real story is that Mars is retrograde (Rx) from July 29th to Sept. 27th. This is an inversion, a confusing diversion from the natural energy of Mars. The Earth and atmospheric changes may not be as dramatic or truly cinematic compared to the human changes that will accompany this retrograde. We will experience events reflecting the inner world to match the outer - as above so below. Impulses and emotions will be charged with high levels of confusion, illusion and frustration and here is why:

RETROGRADE MARS – AN EXPLANATION

On 3:37AM July 29th EDT see chartMars the planet of action, aggression and personal vitality went into a retrograde cycle and appears to be moving backwards. We on Earth appear to be accelerating thus we have a “retrograde.” Even though this particular Retrograde phase ends on September 27th, the planet Mars stays in Pisces till December 17th. Oh Lord, we will all have dancin’ feet by then! (Pisces rules the feet and the shoes that go on them.) With Transiting Mars squaring Uranus at 8° Gemini 55 in the US Chart (see chart) and squaring GW Bush’s Mars 9° Virgo 18, vulnerability at these degrees will create a dance of anger and escapism. In early November these degrees will be touched again like a haunting shadow.

Our Nation’s health is under fire. Note: Using the USA Sibley chart we see Mars transiting the Third House of all forms of communication (magazines, newspapers, radio and TV), ground traffic, railways, neighboring countries, public opinion, the Post Office. Mars is squaring Uranus in the Sixth House of public health, employment, working conditions, labor issues - the Military – and Dept. of Defense the Pentagon. Our communications will be more abrasive, reactive with a heavy emphasis on the freedom to break away. Strikes, slowdowns and Huelgas of all kinds will dominate the news. Example Contracts covering 35% of Verizon's work force expired at midnight -- negotiations to continue. August 3, 2003: 3:10 PM EDT. Extreme health issues will also be in the forefront: AIDS Cases on the Rise in United States from Yahoo News on Aug. 3rd 2003. If ever there was a time to go with the flow instead of getting caught in a dramatic inversion punctuated by rumors of rumors, now is the time.

Shadows have fallen over this great land since the Vernal Equinox marking the start of the IRAQ invasion on March 19th, 2003! The Iraq war and subsequent occupation has fostered discontent. In the last six months since the Scorpio Full Moon, we have witnessed the destruction of U.S. and world resources at an alarming pace all in the name of security and justice. We have even seen on October 10th how the U.S. May Expand Access To Endangered Species - the unthinkable is occuring daily. So now on October 25th, a Scorpionic New Moon can potentially help lift the darkness and phantoms. Haunting specters which the World Management Team and the Bush Cartel have so ruthlessly conjured aided by the boiling cauldron of the nefarious strategist, Karl Rove. Now Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and the asteroid Juno are all in Scorpio, the stage is set for transformation on many levels.

I have set this chart in Washington, DC which like New Orleans is ruled by Scorpio. The DC chart shows Venus at 19° Scorpio on the ascendant rising over the US and conjuncting the South Node at 21° Scorpio - these are both symbols of old ways not working in our nation. As Barbara Hand Clow says of this aspect: "This will awaken deep knowledge about the roots of past conflicts, the ability to see that they were not resolved since they are still with us, and awareness that everything that is going on now is just piled upon old unresolved issues." Even voters in California fell asleep by electing Arnold, thinking that they were attending the premiere of the sequel: Terminator IV/ Well the power of Scorpio to change and renew is alive and well. On this day we also can awaken to the energies of multiple dimensions which are offering the gift of healing our deeper wounds through Chironic change. Note that the collective power of Saturn 13° Cancer in the 8th House of this New Moon Chart almost exactly opposes Chiron at 13° Capricorn. in the 2nd house of values. This connection with Saturn will revitalize the wounded healer's campaign to take on corrupt and greedy families, businesses and institutions. Chiron in Capricorn is getting stronger as the lying, cheating and stealing CEO's and Big Shots like Dennis Kozlowski of TYCO, Richard Scrushy of HealthSouth, Bernie Ebbers of WorldCom, Ken Lay of Enron and Frank Quattrone are facing multiple days of reckoning. Even Dick Grasso of the NYSE couldn't justify a $140 Million gold-filled parachute beyond the scrutiny of the American people.

If there was ever a time on the planet that all our creative, life forces need to be unleashed for the greater good of the family of man, it is now. On Saturday, between 500,000 to 2 million protestors hit the L.A. streets to demonstrate against the Draconian Sensenbrenner anti-immigrant bill (Aka HR 4437). This is a bill that tends to legalize slavery again for immigrants. Saturday had Mercury station direct near Uranus in Pisces. This drama had all the Piscean elements of sacrifice, grief, passionate devotion but also a combative, dynamic pioneering force which reflects the Solar Eclipse about to occur on March 29th at 10:11 AM Universal Time. Mars, the ruler of this Eclipse at 8° 35’ Aries craves action, lives with pure instinct and is the fighting principle for the Sun driven by challenges to one’s physical and psychological survival. Back to these massive demonstrations which erupted out of the need for survival and spread across the US from SF to DC into Monday. Yes on Monday, instant karma struck and the Senate Judiciary Committee accepted a “slight compromise” and passed a less brutal version to allow an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants to stay in the country and seek citizenship. The immigrants aren't buying it! In fact the average ordinary citizen is even questioning the Official Story of 9-11 as stories like "The Ground Zero Grassy Knoll" by Mark Jacobson hit New York Magazine this week. So instead of worshipping in patriotic fervor this 9-11 sacred golden calf used to manipulate fears and spend trillions on a fake war on terrorism, Americans are finally ready to journey Down The 9-11 Rabbit Hole. The ruling elite and NWO masterminds may treat this rising up of the masses as temporary slave revolt but things are going to get a lot wilder as the lid won’t be kept on thousands of years of control.
