I didn't listen to the SOTU. Another family member undergoing tests to determine the reason for swollen nodes (lymph). Doctors have "never seen this" so biopsy,etc. I am weary right now and have rather drawn into myself but I could not allow something as wonderful as AW with the lights on go by without at the very least a hug from me.

Mitteney, I mean Romney, won the Maine Repub caucus today! I am grateful for that, as I feared the VERY Independants in the State would blurr the lines between Kucinich & Paul ideology....but they have it straight..
mitt called me at home Thurs. night with a teleconference. A young woman asked him about SS.
When he had answered her.I wanted to ask about it from a Sr's perspective; but of course I wasn't a part of it; just a passive listener. I was on mute!
The canned questions from prepicked "audience",continued. mitt was channeling ronie reagan, avuncular, reassuring, Daddy will make it all better............( the Dems should emulate) and had ALL THE WRONG ANSWERS! Of course, drilling off shore & in Anwhar, Pipelines youbettcha! Finally got bored and hung up, but when I tried to make a phone call they were still there, nattering on..... I had to hang up about 6 times to free my phone.
The next day I got a live call from a local young repub. to see if I had any questions about the teleconference.
I assumed my very best DAR Matron persona, and said, “Yes, Why on earth would
you call me I’m a progressive Democrat. I ran on the Dem ticket for a state senate seat, last year. bla bla bla......He was totally taken aback & confused.....It never occurred to him anyone would have a different viewpoint. He actually a stammered as he said the calls were random dial. ROFL, LMAO!
I don’t recall even knowing when the rep caucus was in past election years..so I guess they are pulling out all the stops.........But I don’t think it is going to work.

We get teleconference calls from our right-rigid-rep DesJarlais. Like you, Pat, we believe those who ask questions are pre-selected. Many of them are just downright looney like the one women who was quite sure the evil Muslims were building a secret installation nearby. Calls such as this give the rep an opportunity to act "sane" in comparison. ;0

Also heard that Romney is not actually the winner in Maine. When it was announced, not all districts were accounted for -- some, in fact, were ignored because their votes did not reflect a Romney win. Lots of hanky panky going on.

Timmy -- yes, there are some devilish manipulations going on via the IMF including a push to subvert unions, wages (which they've been doing for years in impoverished countries). Again, why we cannot consider a "jubilee" releasing debt and starting from scratch is beyond me. But, then again, those who stand the most to gain would also, most likely, be the ones to impose the onerous rules.

I was awake late channel hopping and stopped to listen to Russian News, Obama's Embargo on Iran is an act of war and they are drawing parallels to the US when it put the screws to Japan back in 1941. Meanwhile a committee of men is determining American Women's reproductive rights and deciding what women can and cannot do. It is screaming insane. So here's hoping the GOP goes the way of the Whigs. Are there any young women screaming about what is being done to them? I don't hear or see their voices.

FACT! I don'tknow what happened down in Waldo Co that their votes didn't count. ( stat rep party is forced to reconsider that, due to the publicity fervor) Up here in Wash. CO a good number of the caucuses were postponed till tomorrow, Feb. 19, because we had a wicked snow storm. It began at 9:30-10:am, mixed sleet snow the slippery stuff.
I got postponed out of the MoveOn house party to watch the movie "Inside Job" as well. 180o different activity from Repub caucus! The host decided he would rather pay the full week rental on the movie rather than have anyone in an accident on the way to the party.

So thought I share it with you. I'm curious as to the astrology of the attack on women's rights and how long this freaking insane transit that is making all of this manifestly visible for all to see is going to last months, years. I have seen our outrage as senior women who bare the battle scars from the first round..course then think back to Sally's revisiting the late 60's discussion somewhere in our archives. Anyway let me know your thoughts on the astrology of it all.

A personal observation.........The robins are working the yard this morning. Big fat birds, red/orange breasts gleaming in the morning sun.
It is only Feb. 18, waaay early for them. The ground is too frozen to release the earthworms just yet, are they eating small bugs? seeds? collecting straw and bits of dried weed for nests?
To me this is a miracle. The pink boyz, & girlz in DC have denied adequate heat funding this year to all these old low income Grandmothers in Downeast Maine. Did the Goddess turn up the thermostat a few notches to help get us through?

The 5 also control the International Swaps and Derivatives Assoc: whom decide if a soverign bond is in default. If the bonds default the 5 have to pay out on the insurance. See the conflict of interest. When Grek bonds paid out only 50% MF Global went bust, because a default was not declared. That began the end of trust in investing in the USA. If the 5 paid on the CDS-insurance they would go under, because they are undercapitalised. Greece is about to only pay 30% on the next bonds due. Do you think the ISDA will declare a default? The PIIGS will follow in underpaying on bonds, so the FED, who has become the bail-outer for all of western civilization will have to print (so called) many MANY billions to monetize the debt. This will be recognized as the end of the road for economic western cicilization. Zero confidence in a system whose life blood is confidence. Though 2015 or less will bring economic chaos unless a new economic system is invented based on trustable hard commodities such as gold. Gold would have to be revalued to$12,500 to wipe out the US debt. Currency experts will bet you dimes for donughts we'll have chaos first. You've seen inflation at the grocery store. The FED will hyperinflaate the $ to collapse now. Look for weakness in the $ to begin probably in June of 2012.

The Blunt amendment in the Senate goes for up for a vote tomorrow giving employers the right to deny healthcare coverage to anything they find morally objectionable in their lordly view..birth control, abortion, psycho meds, viagra (not). Using a noon time the moon is 18 Gemini moving toward a conjunction with the US n. Mars, the US n. Moon at 27 Aquarius has t. Saturn Rx. 29 Libra. Either way women are pissed off. Mike Michaud, is a hero in my eyes. He decided to stay with his run for the House again instead of seeking the "greater glory " of the Senate. He would likely have been replaced by ( termed out) ME. State Senate Pres. Kevin Raye, now they will be worthy opponants for the US House Seat. I would have been running against Kevin if I had stayed in the race last year. He is a nice guy, not insane,works bipartisan well....but too conservative for my tastes. Mike, in spite of his "blue dog" label casts EVERY VOTE as I would if I were in his seat. ( Does he allow blue dog label without contesting it, because it serves him well politically to be considered that?) He is a regular guy, left his mill job and ran for office to balance the injustices.........
Chellie I met at the Oct 2002, antiwar march in Augusta, as well as her son. I was impressed then with her authenticity. When she was Pres CEO of Common Cause.........during the 2004 election cycle when I was so active, I turned to her for answers many times. I have encountered her Daughter Hannah at Dem County meetings many times when she was Speaker of the (state) House.
It's genetic/ingrained..........I have pinpointed Hannah's baby as 1st Female Pres. She already has the serious look of the WH at age 1 year!

Hmmm....100/cents paid out on the Dollar that is printed on worthless notes and backed by stressed Gold limitations. If one were prepared to pay 100/cents against "old" and worthless notes, with the 100/cents backed by a "new", yet undefined or announced standard, then a massive amount of money was just made to replace obsolete money. One has to consider that the old and dying money market was just edged out and replaced behind the scenes by a yet to be new money standard. Note that, this news cast make no mention of any new market, and doesn't have to, in order to give this the appearance of being a worthless maneuver to an unaware populace that thinks in terms of the current market base - so it obviously sounds stupid. The fact that this a FOX News cast make me wonder what just happened, and if it didn't actually deliberately hide the exchange behind a ruse. We have to prepare ourselves for the fact that the USD is being rejected by foreign exchange markets - so what will they accept in regard to foreign trade, especially in regard to oil, metals and textile markets? I get the feeling that we are in for a shock when you wake up one morning and all the money you posses is worthless and will have to undergo an exchange market that will absorb what assets you have and return less than a 10% return against it. You will lose more than you can imagine and yet allow them to exchange that old market into the new and reap a massive amount of potential asset without you ever realizing it. And then sacrifice the hands that of those that commit the crime, wiping the board clean and having the appearance that justice was done. Consider this then; that it will allow a major seizure of property and private assets in the blink of an eye, driving the populace into bankruptcy, while it saves itself from global monetary collapse..... Hi all, here is some more macro banking warfare info from the landscape of my consciousness...You may have heard the western powers destroyed Iran's banking system by cutting them off from the wire transfer system known as SWIFT. If a bank can't transfer money it is out of business...Well we have just threatened to do the same to India with Japan not far behind if they don't honor Iran sanctions (stop buying their oil). With these actions we drive even allies into a new currency system and the further devaluation of our buying power....I think once there are enough countries colluding into a new currency system to neuter the US military, the Saudis will join and that will kill the petrodollar and US buying power. History is unfolding eh? Don't mess with Pluto. Hoo boy!

I agree totally. It was warm even in February, and when I went into the hospital on March 14th, I didn't need my big winter jacket, just the white spring coat. I've barely turned on my heat all winter. And the trees are just blooming all over with white blooms, and the buds are sprouting.

Right now I have Uranus trine Uranus, Pluto trine Venus, and soon Jupiter trine Jupiter? I can't borrow any more money for school, travel wouldn't be possible because I'm working. So what should I do? the one Uranus thing I could think of is write and raise money.

I want more than anything for this site to be somewhere I come to-I miss every single weirdo who comes here-we are so unique and individual and I have always felt free to say what is on my mind/in my heart. Pat, Uranus energy is often radical and technical. Just how is the foundation of that building? I remember reading about how the White House was saved by constructing a steel frame underneath the limestone facade. Could your town do the same with the building, leave the facade, which is what people would like to see, and build a modern building from the walls in? That is essentially what happened to my building-we pretty much had to build a whole new structure because so much had rotted.

Check into green building techniques-they allow for the decorative parts of the building to be spared while making the building itself green.

When the vote was taken in Jan. it only passed by 6 votes, Uranus was 0 or 1o Aries squared to the town's natal & progressed Moon.( not sure where the pro Moon was then as I didn't look.) it is now 0o Capricorn. N Moon is 1o Capricorn.......so the square was almost exact.4th house to 7th house. N Moon is on the 4th house cusp! The tone of the meeting was very well conducted, civil, compassionate, sensible. One woman worked with the historic buildings registry.....they wern't much impressed with the style of the buildings. Another, Daughter if our much loved Dem leader Harold who passed away last year, researched the cost of operating present buildings. And his Grandaughter spoke of sadness in letting the old go, but the need to move forward/change. I am fortunate indeed to live among such reasoned people. This is how it should be working in DC & elsewhere.
As for green input.........I hope we do use it........I haven't seen the plans & I think they are up to the USDA.

I was talking to my agent about it daily, because I was someone she could talk to. There is much more to the story. But my phone was tapped for awhile.
So when I heard about this gold showing up in China right at that time, it sounded right to me.

Well hello to those here. As usual I've brought a financial update.

Besides the dozen things the US is doing to devalue its currency, Germany, China, Russia, the Gulf oil states, and a few other nations are quickly preparing a new banking and currency system to replace the US as the global reserve currency. The US threatened to destroy China's banking system by June 30, 2012, by shutting them out of the bank wire system "SWIFT" if they don't stop buying oil from Iran. Iran's banking system was already destroyed that way...When these new systems come online watch for the dollar to drop in value (purchasing power) by as much as 50%. Watch the USDX. Jim Sinclair says when it drops below 72 the third time, it will drop sharply....Somebody above mentioned the Venus eclipse. I wonder what happens financially then?...Yesterday I redid my budget to see if I can get by on half the money. It will be squeaky.

On another note I recently learned coconut oil, due to adding keytones to the brain's nutrition, reverses Alzheimers. Course I'm not prescribing, but it is well worth looking into. Lost the link to the video, sorry.

On a more personal note, I discovered this week I have diabetes, so I'll be going on the paleo diet. Hmmm, might have to get a BBQ for that.

We lost our own dear animal friend a few weeks back. We were, the three of us, so close and we communicated: Steve and I talk and Bebe used her body to convey the points she wanted communicated.
I do believe that there will be peace on earth once humanity realizes that all life on this planet is sentient and all of life is to be loved and cherished. The elephants in this story responded to a human who saw them in their beauty and who gave the courage to live on even when ignorant humans make their lives very frightening.
