As far as I can see, the majority of "we the people" feel helpless in making the changes. Yes, it's most important to keep talking keep telling the truth as we know it, but we need masses of folks out there making our voices heard.

The article I read about the demise of the town halls because folks are angry, really fueled my fires. Yes we are angry and "you" are scared to answer our questions especially when we don't accept lies and BS anymore. That's something they cannot do. We are supposed to sit quietly and listen to their baloney. The fact is the people are being shut out of this country as the loudest become corrupt and criminal bankers and politicians as well as the Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry type of insane people.

In the US chart transiting Pluto and Uranus are opposing and squaring the US Venus and Jupiter. That configuration could easily destroy the bankers and politicians or the entire United States. I absolutely believe we will build a better system but it has to fall in order to start and the falling is becoming stressful for the majority.

I do know this, all that the vast majority is experiencing is being experienced by those few at the top, they just have more money. They are however experiencing the anxiety, fear, anger that everyone is going through. That fact gives me some calm.

I am feeling less helpless than I have felt since Howard Dean stepped out of the Presidential race in '04. My soapbox may not be very tall or in a heavily populated area........
but instead of being denied or blocked; I am now getting revelation, understanding & concensious.
Because of the work/dialogue we have done here at AW FOR THE PAST DECADE.......I HAVE the answers/ missing puzzle pieces to insert bringing clarity to those who now want to know.

I am thinking of the citizens of Windham,my Daughter's town, in the Catskills, mostly Repub. and how they are dealing with their flooded out town. According to the Repub belief system, they now get out their shovels and go rebuild the washed out roads & bridges, so food supplies can get to the stores, once more? They can get to the hospital if they need to? I have seen the photos, the washouts are 6' deep or deeper.........How long does it take to build a bridge? by a "professional " crew? Will they chip in and hire someone privately? Can they afford it? They are mostly small local businesses, now with no revenue. Tourists can't get into town!...............

I went over to the local farmers market yesterday and told them that 140,000. acres of crops in upstate NY were flooded out. 14 farmers who bring veggies to Farmers Markets in NY City, will not be coming this year.
Since they a have been tending their crops,rather than online like me, they had NO IDEA of the problem. Now they have the option of taking their crops into the city if they want to go that far, and earn more money...........Sam joked about selling $50. apiece tomatos, but the option is there!

Hi there,

One thing we were thinking of going as part of the buildup to Sept. 17 is the 99 Percent Project. It's a promotion that we're hoping will pick up some more steam as we get closer to the occupation date that will highlight the various ways that a society which prioritizes the upper 1 percent is having a deleterious impact on, well, everyone else. It's a way to focus the message and really bring the human side to the fore by calling attention to the real human costs of our current economic setup. Here's how we're hoping it will work:

1) People will take a picture of themselves with a sign. The sign will describe a problem that the person is going through, such as:

"I am a student with $25,000 in debt."

"I am a homeowner who just got foreclosed upon."

"I am someone with thousands in medical bills and no insurance."

After below that, a single line:

"I am the 99 percent."

And, below that:

"Occupy Wall Street -- Sept. 17."

They can then submit this photo through the link on the left ("Get Known") and have it appear on the tumblr located at http://wearethe99percent.tumblr.com/. As you can see, we're still looking for submissions, so if any of you have a camera and a piece of cardboard and want to let people know why it is YOU'RE frustrated with the 99 Percent world we seem to be living in, make a submission and let your voice be heard.

Now that sounds so good Pat, I shall sleep peacefully. They will yank them out of there you know, but they "do not forget." Pluto in Capricorn is the end of over two hundred years of laws and policy and dreams. I have said so many times that "we are the change we have been waiting for, it's up to us to build a new ideal, a new way and leave it behind us to be activated. What is behind is behind us, we have a glorious new future that we can be part of creating. The past is also over for the greedy, selfish, evil, or it can be. Good for Anonymous for putting themselves on the line like this, I wonder how many will show up to camp out. Gee, I wonder if the politicians will wish they had answered some of those tough questions from the Town Hall Meetings.

Anonymous is active here but only in shutting down BART at rush hour which doesn't make a lot of sense for those who are tired and trying to get home. Anonymous is demonstrating against BARTs decision to shut down media access during some trouble a month or so ago.
I am so excited about the the demonstration on Wall St and we need so much more.

I just read an excellent quote on Daykeeper Journal and it provides a perfect hint at the direction we should be heading as the changes and our changes descend upon us "we need to build dreams that money can no longer buy." This is a result of materialism and consumerism in rapid decay, signs of which is all around us. Our own bloated obesity is becoming disgusting for us to watch, weight loss is coming, hurrah.

Pluto is transiting directly over the Venus/Jupiter midpoint, greed unleashed to the max and then the big shut down of that hits. It won't change all at once but it will be the end of getting away with it as all the slime pounds out regarding leaders/government/wall street. Uranus will help that to a tremendous degree. Kind of like walking down the street and suddenly realizing you forgot to put on your pants.

Sally- something that has been so in my mind are the ludicrous terms "consumer society" and "service industry". The big boys could have had a consumer society but they were also attempting to create a service economy and thus they have hung themselves. Someone has to be able to buy the "things" and for sure the servants can't afford those "things". Stupid hateful minds at work there. Well I imagine there will be time to grow a soul now.

Clymela, I look at Rick Perry and think of a guy who has put on a clean suit and clean shirt but hasn't bathed in a month. I am with you, the guy gives me the creeps. Saturn is right now doing a Saturn return for the US and squaring the GOP Sun, it's not oily but it sure feels like it to me.

I didn't watch the debates last night but I did see a little of the after pundits, and caught a clip last night of Romney going after the SS Ponzi scheme remark by Perry, but that is all I caught of the debates. I also saw the awful wild fires in Texas and the horrific flooding in the South and Northeast.

I am tracking the impact of the Pluto/Uranus squares and opposition to Venus/Jupiter and the Saturn return square the US Sun as well. I also find it curious that not one astrologer I've found have discussed (not that there isn't one) the impact of transiting Pluto, Uranus and Saturn to the US Midheaven, that's our government, leaders, public standing all being shaken up big time. That aspect is the most damaging to the United States and its public face. This country is in a real dither.

Oooooh, I just took a look at the Astrodienst version of the USA Sibley chart. Today Uranus is exactly conjunct the IC, @ 1o 53' of Aries, so close to the Aries point. & our HOME where we live......beginnings endings! Are we comfortable?

My biggest impression from THE SPEECH last night was the look of sadness & devastation on Michelle's face! WHAT WASS THE PRICE OF THAT IMPASSIONED SPEECH?

The price for that speech is huge in more ways than one and it's huge for us. This is the culmination of all the GOP has been working towards since it's inception and that's an end to the FDR policies and a return to the enslavement of the people.

At the time of the speech Neptune was opposing Mercury in the 6th house, (lies for the workers of this country)Venus was conjunct the US Neptune in the 7th, deceit from who Obama believes are his partners or would act as his partners in his policies, with the Venus square to the US Mars we will not be happy campers. Mars conjunct the US Mercury, anger from the people over time as they realize they've been had. Most important and shocking to me was the Conjunct of the Moon to the US south node; every single act of deceit by a president or congress since 2001 has had a planet on the US South Node. The people with that aspect will be duped because we want to believe and have believed in this government and the leaders we elect that they will do the right thing by us and that belief has led us where we are today. The South Node is where we "kid" ourselves and past mistakes can overtake us. Then of course there is the Pluto/Uranus square and opposition to the US Venus and Jupiter the money flows out, even more in the next two years when Pluto hits the US 2nd house.

My hope is the Moon on the South Node will cause the people to rise up as they did in the past in a revolutionary manner and insist their dreams for this country are followed. My other hope is as Chiron moves into a trine to the US Venus and Jupiter the country will begin to heal itself in earnest.

Finally the Saturn return over the last two weeks indicate more restrictions or the beginning of the ending of restrictions. Saturn is the only planet where conjunctions reflect endings and the opposition beginnings. With the Saturn return I am counting on endings if it holds true to form, but Saturn really unfolds slowly and this is the third and last time Saturn returns to its own position in the US Chart, plans have been unfolding for quite awhile now. Saturn covers a 20/30 year period of time, the last return was around 1980 and the Reagan years begin to dismantle the hippy and growth years begun in the 50's gaining in strength through the 60's and 70's. The plans for the destruction of the middle class was laid in the 80's/90'/ and this last decade. I am thinking those plans will slowly begin to unravel and time marches on.

All of this is nothing we haven't expected and it's nothing this country isn't up to doing, we are up to the task of this change. So last night I sort of went "good speech but as they say 'actions speak louder than words' we will have to wait and see"

So are you saying that Michelle looks sad because she knows, no matter how many times he said "I want you to pass this bill", she knows the repigs will bury it? ( & just how they will go about it) Yet (SOME OF) the people will be lulled back to sleep by the promise in his words?

I posted to AW 6 or 7 years ago......Helen Thomas describes in one of her books ( sorry can't remember which one) that I took out from our local library,( not indy publisher, not banned, not burned) how she was talking to Martha Mitchell on the phone, when thugs broke into her hotel room, tackled her and injected her in rear end. Within a year Mitchell got cancer and died, thus eliminating a loud voice for the TRUTH. Attempts to discredit Mitchell as a crazy alcoholic hadn't been sufficient. She was fearful enough for her life to check into a hotel rather than stay at home, & to keep in touch with Helen, a friend. Her husband John Mitchell had already been put in prison, I think.

I always believed Martha was murdered because she just could not keep her mouth shut and was hell bent on getting the truth out. I always felt so badly for Martha Mitchell, horrible what they did to her.

The hanging itself, was a nimble, spectacular high ladder, top of 2 rickity pianos, death defying feat! The pianos were against the wall, so I had to step from the ladder to the piano top to reach the molding so I could hammer a nail into it, then
tie string to the screw eyes so thst the paintings would hang mid-wall of the 18' ceiling. When I finished Sharon said " I am going to have nightmares!"

I have been reflecting on how nailed down we are in this society. Everything is measured and weighed and if the powers that be don't like what is seen such as the Wall St "live-in" then we the people will NOT SEE anything. This without any public discussion and the right-wing propaganda via the radio and TV (remember FOX is always available on cable TV but one must be able to afford the higher bands in order to tune in to MSNBC or Al Gore. PBS was once a wonderful option but that resource has been tied down fairly effectively.
I wonder where this will all end up. In the meantime I am grateful for this glorious day-one of our 4 or 5 hot days we get each year.

Pluto an Uranus are still playing with us and breaking up our habits and patterns. I am just looking at all the junk I have and trying to once again pair down.

Pluto has gone direct, tough on leaders and governments and the rest of us who have to deal with them. Pluto rules power and power will be broken over the next several years. Our gated community brothers and sisters feel this and are trying to grab as much as they can get and doing their utmost to "lord" it over us while they can. The unease and fear floating over the world impacts them just like it does the rest of us, fear isn't respectful of rich or poor, wall street or main street, leaders or service clerks, fear and chaos chases us all. The world is officially out of control either through fear of through being tired of being afraid. All of us who haven't lost everything we have in a flood, fire, earthquake, hurricane are at this point fortunate, as nuts as it all seems, we are still together. The Soltice on the 23rd has a Moon/Mars conjunction, emotions will run very high so beware, no need to whack someone physically or emotionally because the Moon and Mars don't really like each other. Use the energy to plant, clean, run, paint something interesting beside an argument or frustration with the government. And on we go careening toward a new cultural and spiritual revolution.

Sally, perfect, perfect timing on this post. And as I read QOP and Clymela, I'm picking up both a sense of frustration and, equally, breakthrough. Such are the energies. To transform the sick and twisted machinations of the centuries, fueled by the mythology of religion we will have to see the underbelly of the beast. We are witnessing some unprecendented TRUTHS. We know the execution of Troy Davis (and even the sonofab in Texas who was convicted of a horrific draggin death) is wrong, wrong, wrong. Ghandi wrote that to use and eye for an eye justice only makes the world go blind. For far too many this has already taken place -- as in turning a blind eye to (fill in the blank).

What is exhilirating, however, is the high energy of those now fighting to expose the injustice.

I am mesmerized at watching the hatred pour out of some with the passion and zeal only Pluto can bring forth. The GOP debates have called forth amazing emotions and feelings with "let them die," cheering the amount of people who have been executed, and booing a gay soldier asking a question and there is even more, with the hate crimes, the rise in violent crimes, the shooting of the AZ Rep., it's just mesmerizing. This hatred seems to be a long way from abating and so it keeps pouring out until the American people raise their voices to stop it. The "simulated terrorism" operation in Denver was a huge bust in the city. It was ill planned, poorly executed and they are the laughing stock of the city. So much for being able to protect Denver in case of an attack.

Obama will be here tomorrow speaking at one of the poorest high school in town, one in need of a few million just to bring it into the 21st century, the speech will be televised around 2:00pm in Denver, the downtown crowd will not be happy at the delays a presidential entourage brings. Well, Lincoln High will be very happy to have a spotlight on them.

This has been a quieter week than last week and nearly everyone I know needs a break. The Universe is keeping the world's feet to the fire these days as we are spinning every faster toward a higher level of understanding and spirituality and I dearly hope love.

Sometimes I surround me, myself and I in love like a warm blanket, love coming from just me, myself and I. I highly recommend doing this from time to time because it feels so good, so fulfilling and helps to reach out in love and understanding toward others offering gifts you have toward those who might be in need. Astroworlders...I'm so thankful for each of you, your energies for we've just experienced the "taking" of the self-absorbed. Our offer of help was followed by a 2 1/2 week stint of a person who is wedded to drama, and cannot seem to break that cycle. The sadness of this overwhelms the frustration. And, it was very frustrating to be with a person who sees everything in terms of pending storms. A person who expresses no thankfulness.

Karen-I was particularly touched by your story. The story of what has been done to the Postal Service has "lit me up". This is the most blatant theft of all and "they" have almost gotten away with it. All praises and prayers for the employees and the union activists.
Outrageous how the powers that be have managed to get working people in the position to accept much lower wages. I read that 10 trillion dollars have been sucked up. My question is: where is the money?

Here in Denver, the postal workers are all fired up and they know their money is tucked away and not being given out. The Union Workers have all the financials because the Union receives them, they are quite knowledgeable as to what is going on and completely disgusted. There is more than enough money to keep the postal service going and it's a good idea to keep it going, email, face book and twitter are not necessarily to be trusted for many folks.

The Occupy Wall Street is picking up steam and getting more coverage, particularly since the police, I expect on orders, took the protest to a different level with their pepper spray on people who weren't doing anything but standing in a peaceful protest.

This reminds me of the settling of the west, with the military and settlers circling the wagons as they faced the massive silent stand of the Indians as they lined up together across the hills and mountains. Seemingly the Indians ultimately lost the war, but they first won a ton of battles against those circled wagons and fortified forts. Remember the Alamo, and Custer and tons more.

Here we are again, Wall Street and the Bankers are circling their wagons bringing as much pressure to bear on what seems to be the weaker, and the Indians are lining up in the streets and ready to storm those filled with fear and dread who are circling. History does indeed repeat itself, but not always with the same outcome; like the pendulum on a clock, it goes this way so far then it comes back the other way so far. So in these battles we are facing, find the "Indians" lined up in the streets of New York, and the circled wagons folks sitting in opulent offices and they seem to be "winning the battles" this time and we the Indians win the war as the clock pendulum slowly swings back through history as energy repeats. Remember, the Indians actually owned it all and so do we, we are the majority, the White Man ripped it away from them because the White Man was terrified of those Indians with their bows and arrows and tommy hawks and drums and loud yelps and the White Man was greedy. This time around the "White Man" seems to own it all with their drinking champagne at their windows mocking the protesters down below, but I think our present day "Indians" just might eventually rip it all away and the White Man is still terrified of those drums and loud yelps, but this time they "lose" the war, and might find themselves on their own Trail of Tears.

I used to live very close to that Trail and when I was in Collage, I walked it as it was recreated every summer. I walked quite a bit of that Trail three times and I must admit that I hope when a different people have to face their own trail that all of us would or could show them more mercy than was shown to the Indians.

One of the underlying themes of this time is an inability to empathize. Culturally and emotionally we seem to be stuck at the age of 16. Self-absorbed, without an interest in history, we disrespect all who do not orbit our Sun. This disrespect has been institutionalized within educational systems focused on a consumer/worker meme. We call it democracy, but do not understand that it is a system that requires constant attention, an adaptation.

Tea partiers are intent on bowing to Scalia's attention to the Federalist Papers -- the "intent" of constitutional framework. Would those who literally support the "intent" concept then agree that black slaves are only 3/5ths of a person? That women do not even merit a vote?

Yes, Sally those who believe power is granted only to the few (generally white men) have always lived in fear, for subconsciously they know how erroneous their beliefs are, how they subject people to cruelty, death, and impoverishment. And all in the name of the above subjective and adolescent disrespect for the "other."

I'm having a discussion on facebook with a conservative friend of Joe Baldacci, Brother to our recent former Governor of Maine. He has been a reporter for 20 years. Because we are discussing it in civil fashion.........I am realizing that we have VERY different experiences: growing up in Maine birthplace of the KKK leader & the Nazi in Arlington Va. who eventually was gunned down, vs South Jersey which was settled by Quakers, & remained peaceful/liberal.

My daughter banks with Bank of America and pays her bills online. Because of her time-consuming job she is sometimes out of touch with politics/societal events for a week or two at a time.

Recently she couldn't pay her bills online because B of America's servers were down. She didn't know why. WHY is because crowds of disgruntled customers were closing their accounts because the Bank planned to charge customers $5. a mo. for using their debit card.

I left B of America a couple of years ago and joined a credit union. So glad I did. Now I own my bank (or part of it.) We owners/account holders do not need a CEO with an annual compensation of $1,940,069. (Numbers from Forbes Magazine.) I get all the same service and none of the pickpocket practices.

Why does the CEO of Bank of America get so much money? The right-wing would tell us it is because he earns it with his superior knowledge, talent, etc.

Maybe they are right. After all, the Bank of America gambled wildly buying up shaky mortgages. If they had made a profit before the bubble burst they would have kept the money. If they lost everything (as they did) the Federal Government (you and me) would bail them out.

Wow! That CEO is a genius. (Snark.)

Last week, amidst the frothing sea of protesters in New York assembling to protest what they see as rampant greed and political corruption, Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas, an Iraq War Veteran, started a fire that has suddenly begun to boil and rage. As the Marine angrily stood up for protesters who were allegedly being aggressively arrested by riot police, he reminded the standing authorities, who looked stunned as they listened to the his frustrated and furious rant, that they were not "in a war zone."

"Leave these people alone," he was heard shouting. "These are US citizens! Stop hurting these people, man! Why are you doing this to our people?" He continued, emphasizing his confusion at the seemingly unbalanced reaction to a peaceful demonstration: "I've been to Iraq for 14 months for my people... They don't have guns! ...Why are you hurting these people? It doesn't make any sense... There is no honor in this!"

As the group grows, so, too, does it's influence and capabilities. As former military service members, they seem to have been born with an inate sense of organization and leadership. As their involvement has expanded, their operation has expanded with them. Now conducting intelligence gathering, they group has alleged that they have uncovered "individuals within the White House have proactively targeted our dissemination efforts by ordering such independent media outlets, such as YouTube, to not support the occupation efforts."

"Regardless, the White House or those influencing major and independent media outlets... do not support America, the American Veterans, or American citizens by denying the dissemination of our message. Numerology of the 11

"There is a plethora of information out there describing the number 11 from a numerological perspective. I couldn't possibly summarize it all here; but I will touch on a few of the interpretations to help shape our awareness of what the 11:11 is all about.

(1) First and foremost, 11 is known as The Master Number, i.e. the number of Spiritual Mastery. Please note that this Mastery is dualized with stark contrast.
