It does seem as if we are going down the stairs but don't look at that, look up, cause we are going up. Smashed here between three eclipses, a partial solar eclipse on June 1st in Gemini, a full moon eclipse on the 15th also in Gemini and now another partial solar eclipse in Cancer, close to the US Sun at 9 degrees Cancer, but not close enough for me. This eclipse does however fall on the US midpoint of Sun/Jupiter, perhaps the worst of possibilities will be held off for August. This eclipse, while not falling across the US at all, does fall close to transiting south node, the past is rising up, karma is written all over this eclipse.
It's interesting to me that since 1997/98 all the outer planets have been crossing over the South node of the US and since that time we have been reaping what we have sown in this country. I know we all say it wasn't us, but in large measure it has been us. We ignored the growing impact of big business for over 100 , we ignored the influence of the Federal Reserve and banking since 1913, years because they paid us. I don't think people can be blamed for trusting their government and big institutions, we were all busy with wars, raising kids, working, dealing with depressions, trying to carve something out of nothing as we came of age. Good things happened during those times and the good things for the people have been constantly chipped away through those years. Did we have too long a history of slavery, too culturalized (no such word, but I like it) toward serfdom during modern history's days, starting before the Greek civilizations? I don't know but world wide we have either turned a blind eye or let slavery and serfdom exist for ourselves and for others. I've always thought we made the holocaust important not because people were mowed down like ants, but because the entire world for whatever reasons stood up against all the injustice of it all. The common man and woman around the world felt proud and felt like they were bringing freedom and justice, no matter what the leaders were doing. But if you look around the world today you can see none of the injustice has stopped. There is still slavery and massive death of men, women and children, there is still serfdom, still injustice for mankind, still corruption and suffering for the masses and world wide we have been turning a blind eye, heaving a big sigh and saying "what can we do?" We just go on and the karma keeps going around from country to country. Even Mother Nature is starting to rebel; remember the 70's commercial, "it's not nice to fool Mother Nature." I always thought, even then, this is an omen and every now and then, she turns her wrath on this world. We are absolutely connected in every sense of the word to everyone else. Physics shows us that when we believe we are separate, photons separate from that. If we believe we are separate from the wealthy it's not in our sphere, if we believe we lead a poor and sad life, that is in our sphere because we have connected to it.
Einstein tried to explain this to us and said "we cannot solve a problem while we are in the same level of thinking that created the problem in the beginning."
This entire world is based on "us and them." Country against country, gender against gender, religion against religion, culture against culture, black and white, rich against poor, and the list goes on, it just depends whose side one is on. There is very little "live and let live." In small ways, with this eclipse in Cancer we can begin the process of moving in that direction, course I have Jupiter in Cancer in my tenth house, I have an ideology and vision of a global dream in that direction, you know prosperity and safety for all; all this other stuff has become ridiculous even insane by psychological standards. Wow, perhaps those are changing as well.
I'm trying to figure out what we fear, what do I fear. Is it the word change? Is it a fear that I will lose what little I have, is it the fear someone will kill me (we will die someday anyway) is it the fear that I will have to move (I dislike moving) is it the fear that someone will own me or my children or grandchildren, or is it simply the fear of the unknown and that I or we will not have any control over events? Mars has been in a square to Neptune activating the US Natal square which activates our insanity as a people, sadly it's our leaders we have to observe to see our collective insanity; in a few weeks Mars will trine to Neptune, some in society can shift the energy toward a more collegian attitude, we will have to wait to see if any of our leaders can or will do that in order to see how we are collectively doing. Part of the Mars/Neptune energy that covers the US is a belief that all of this is real, it isn't. None of what has happened in this New World of ours over the last couple of centuries have been real. We revere our “founding fathers” and yet they left out women, blacks, and tried to leave out the poor in their system of democracy believing only “land owners” could govern the country and move it forward, In other words, only the rich. The people were so desperate they bought it all hook line and sinker. How have we, the people changed? How have the rich also the people changed? However, I do want to point out the tendency to make believe in this country affects those who are wealthy in the same way it does the rest of the culture, only because of funds they are able to hang on to the illusion just a bit longer.
On Aug. 18, 2016 retrograde Mercury in the US chart goes direct at 20 degrees Aquarius and by the mid to late 2020’s we will be on a whole new path, changing and cleaning up in this country. Whatever we do starting now, whatever we try to sow in these years between now and 2016/17 when transiting Neptune will be on transiting nodes south node, we will begin to reap. Do you want more money at anyone’s expense, do you want a peaceful loving environment, even small things like a better relationship with your country, your family, your job, start thinking now about the seeds you need to sow what you want to reap. Be honest with yourselves and clear on your intentions. Einstein once said and it is painfully true.“ Remember Einstein’s quote “we cannot solve a problem while we are in the same level of thinking that created the problem” .
We have been given an opportunity to change through these eclipses, change our thinking and change our reality. I believe in us as a human race, I know what I want and don’t want to which I connect myself, and connections means you can connect through peace or anger but you are still connected, through violence or joy, prosperity or poverty you are still connected. What I am saying is get clear on what you do not want in your life on any level. Take love for an example and you want to be loving and positive, connect to those who are. Some people use love as a manipulation you may not want to associate with them but you are connected to them and you can send out empathy and acceptance of their misuse but don’t send out hate or disgust because that eventually disconnects you from what you want. It’s a process and a difficult one to do, but it can be done, you just don’t have to be someone who misuses the gifts you have.
It’s the baby boomers that are now unlocking the mysteries of the use of energy and how to make it work for others, as we move into our own wisdom we can guide the younger generation into the understanding of the universe. We are ushering in the age of Aquarius, that is our purpose.

"We are ushering in the age of Aquarius, that is our purpose."
You bet we are, & it is indeed, our purpose, and high time! I fully expected it to begin 30 years ago!
It's wonderful to check in here and find a new post from you, Sally. And one so full of positive things to think about and strive for.
Aside from a terrible case of Mercury ADD, the eclipses this month have given me a larger over-
view of things I may have missed before............
as you say 'it's a process and a difficult one........
Are there any eclipses that stand out between now and 2016?

all eclipses are standouts for someone someplace, there are a couple hitting the US, this one is hitting the UK and there are strikes all over the place. This year has 5 eclipses and that's one over the normal 4. In 1939 there were 8, and in the year 2000 there were 7 all together, those were upheaval years. In Feb. 2018 there is an eclipse directly on the US Moon, a solar eclipse, the people will speak at that time, speak loud and clear. We just don't know which side of the fence those people will straddle. Also in 2016 there is an eclipse falling (a solar) across the Saturn/Uranus opposition a few years ago when the breaking of the status quo was in full force, who won will be evident during that eclipse
The one on the US Moon is new ideas a flood of them happening fast, if one can ride with the rapid new ideas they will be successful.
I recommend the Bernadette Brady book called the Eagle and the Lark relating to eclipses to read the meaning attached to the solar eclipses

I will share an example of "connecting" or "manifesting", as I think I understand what you are saying..............
Thus. in town to shop, I missed my credit/debit card. My big old "town car" wallet tends to voluntarily expel the cards in it's current state of needing to be replaced, so I had to do all my transactions via check: an interesting exercise in itself. Each merchant had a different method of processing, involving running the check through as a credit card, involving getting your signature on a slip and giving back the check!( Do I see the end of pure cash purchases in the near future?)
Weds. I told the bank teller & she gave me a time period to search for the missing card, after which I was to call her & report results.
Functioning out of my dutiful Mars in Capricorn,
in the now, since the eclipse this AM, obsolete
3rd dimension, I searched through my paperwork, the car, under the seats etc, postponing my daily Reiki routine to get "business out of the way" first!" No card, called the bank, then did Reiki................completed, I sat up stretched and into my head bounded the thought: {You put it in that little coin purse to carry to the Art Opening last week!}
Sure enough! That's exactly what I had done & of course it was to late to reverse the cancellation.....................
So my intention to order The Eagle & the Lark from Amazon, next on my list, waiting until I had a bank balance increase, will be delayed by having to send them a check, instead of charging it against my card! Interesting that you should recommend reading it at this time! ( Yes 1939 the year of the 8 eclipses is my birth year, info I need to know!)
LESSON?: listen to your guides FIRST! ( the new way!)
We are now in the 4th day of the 9th Wave Mayan calendar: leaf formation, Sun. July 3 is the midpoint of this wave!

Incredible post, Sally! I have to digest this in its entire scope, for you have an underlying theme running throughout that is positively inspiring. Attaching ourselves to a way of thinking produces those very results -- an energetic manifestation.
Throughout life, I've experienced in rapid succession several "levels" of thinking with one main life theme, that of a rebel. Thinking always that I had to "fight" against the status quo. That kind of thinking is equally an entrapment, believing you have to "fight" for your voice to be heard, or your acts to be reconized. Well, that just creates an image of rabble rouser, and who wants to be connected with that? hahahahahahahaha
This was profound, Sally. I'm sure I'll be thinking about this all weekend.

So Karen.........it seems we the rabble rousing rebels.............are now really at the forefront to: act as Sally suggests here.
"as we move into our own wisdom we can guide the younger generation into the understanding of the universe. We are ushering in the age of Aquarius, that is our purpose."
As well as help any of the 'older generations" who are ready to listen, to new ideas...............

Sally -this article just now made it into my view. My fourteen year old grandson was missing from Sunday until yesterday afternoon-he had "run away" to join his own band of rebels-he has a grand cross in the area of the zodiac that contains the current eclipse. He is home and he is safe although he was grimy and hungry when my Steve brought him home. Amazing season of eclipses for us.
Back to you and this incredible article. This is one of the greatest spiritual gifts I have received in my 64+ years. You have explained to me how to change the level at which I perceive a problem so that I can hope to solve the problem. I have been familiar with Einstein's words but I couldn't see how to implement those words-now, thanks to you I believe that I can.
I was sitting here in my quiet home-everyone else is out-and I was reviewing how I have made some incorrect decisions-fantasizing a reality because my own didn't please me and then getting lost in the fantasies mistaking them for reality. HMMM?!After some tears and some reading I decided to check out my friends at Astroworld and what should I receive for my tiny effort? These wonderful words clarifying for me how to begin the next steps of this journey. Thank you so much. I love you even though we have never met. I feel so wealthy in this moment to have received such wonderful guidance and encouragement in just the form, words and thoughts, that are the easiest for me to use.
I for one am so grateful for the safety of my beloved and troubling/troubled grandson, for my birth here in this country that has encouraged me, one of "the least",to grow as far as my imagination allows and for the wealth so generously shared just for the price of my willingness to accept it and embrace it.
Best wishes to everyone this weekend-may all the fireworks in our hearts and souls fly high and bright.

Make no mistake all the chaos around the world of people fighting against their governments is carefully designed, planned and implemented by the multinationals around the world. These groups tried the same thing in the late 1500's and early 1600 hundreds, they lost their fight to control the world in 1874, but they had a long run because they had MONEY, armies, owned the people, they owned the media of the day, they owned the world by 1600. Their real fight started a couple of years before the American Revolution and the Tea Party of 1774. They weakly hung on until 1874, then they changed their tactics, making the "people" believe they were important and it worked for them.
Their intent, always their intent has been to return the world to surfdom, kill most of us off I think at least the poor, sick and elderly. The end result in their mind is rule the world. The purpose of creating chaos is a toppling of the world's governments, they do not want governments or countries under soverign rule, they want to privatize countries, let bean counters rule the world.
You think this is possible? It's possible, remember many of the families controlling this thing have been in control for at least six or seven hundred years, carefully educating their children to carry on their dream.
The masters of the universe keep trodding the same path and the people keep trodding the same path, not believing this is happening until it's almost too late to save ourselves. In alot of ways it's almost too funny for words, no one seems to have learned history's lessons.
Make no mistake about it, all will become uglier and uglier as the same energy of the revolutionary war and the civil war has returned. The Civil War by the way was about money and states rights (the right to continue enslaving people) the corporations of the day supported it all, they do keep trying to control it all however.
The people trying to "prepare" and store enough money, food, medicine etc are just prolonging their own fears and the end result which is CHANGE. I hope the change is about what we believed ourselves to be not what we pretended to be. At least in America citizens and immigrants alike either came or stayed in America for the dream and faith there would be something better. We all believed in the dream and the dream was good. Even parts of the reality was good, but it's the dream we keep fighting for and for over two hundred years we have tried to keep that dream alive. The dream of peace, respect, prosperity for all has been in the hearts and minds of most of the people in this country or whomever came to this country.
So many of us are fearful of what is to come and how far down will they push us? Don't look at what seems obvious, just keep the dream alive. The funny part of this is energetic energy tells us and shows us they won't make it.

Clymels I am so happy to hear your nephew/grandson? is safe and sound.Hold fast to your dream Clymela and ignore the ones who are perverting that dream, they cannot hurt you in any manner, just make sure you know the dream is coming true and has come true for you in a lot of ways through the years. As for me half the time I see all that's happened and is happening as slap stick comedy. Some of these folks are brewing up a hurricane, the problem for them is once you start that hurricane it's too bad you cannot stop it or control where it goes.
Thank you for your so kind words, in reality i hang my head in humility that anyone would think I brought just a little bit to their life, i so appreciate that you think so. One time when I was in my mid thirties and not feeling too good about my self,I dashed into a clothing store for some hose. I felt a huge tug at my dress, looked down and a little boy about 5 was looking up at me, I bent down and he said "lady you are so beautiful" I smiled and thanked him and have wondered about him for over 30 years because whenever I had a bad hair day or felt rotten about my self I think of him and it brigtens my life, I always send out love and light to him and pray he is doing so well and reaping the love and sincerity he sowed that day. Thank you Clymela for this very great gift

These articles are soooo parallel what you have written Sally.
And I had a conversation in the new $ store with a friend, whose Daughter was my art student some years ago, she is applying these same principles in her job.
(She's regonal retail, sales/supplier. Like so many of us, in spite of tenure and long time service for one company, is compromised economically & hours cut back..........& yet she is,calmly, wisely advising ( teaching) her new supervisor, on how to lovingly enable the best performance, rather than harshly driving people.
She of course should BE the new supervisor, but has had a set-back due to an elective surgery, gone wrong, and the subsequent foolery that so many medical cases seem to have these days.

Hi, Sally! I was especially struck by your comment about the whole world being "us and them."
So much of the con game perpetrated on American working-class people is the always popular "us and them."
"Us, we, are the good guys. The decent hard-working, God-fearing, retired after a lifetime of effort people."
"Them, they, want to take what we have. They are bad, dirty, lazy, engage in illicit sex, and hate Jesus."
"By the way, pay no attention to those billionaires behind the curtain. They are the American dream and your kids have a shot at it."
That's why the Right-Wing wants to make us believe that "In God We Trust" is the national motto. The real national motto (on the Great Seal of the United States) is E Pluribus Unum (From Many, One) a very inclusive motto.
That's why the John Birch Society was instrumental some years ago in getting congress to add the words "under God" to the pledge to the flag. Many of us old-timers still say the pledge we learned as children, "..one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice..."
Indivisible means just that--believers all of stripes, non-believers, agnostics, etc. all Americans. Adding the words "under God" makes the word "indivisible" meaningless. As you can tell, this "us and them" BS especially annoys me--maybe because it is such an effective con.
Thanks for your "us and them" observation-- just one of many great thoughts in your post. So glad to be reading your work again.

Old Mayfly-WOW thanks for your response to Sally's powerful and moving article.
I remember when the "under God" part was added-I was going to the first grade and my mother was fit to be tied-since we we the only Democrats in our landed family there in Kansas and perhaps the only Democrats in the entire region of wheat fields and cattle my mother often only had me to talk with when Daddy was off working the gas lines around our community so I knew that I was a Democrat. Okay back to the subject I could never figure out why she was so upset since we were very religious and obviously the mystery was so deep I never asked (I guess)and here you have solved that mystery for me.
What a remarkable time this time of the eclipse-two mysteries unraveled just for the willingness to show up and see what my friends are thinking, writing these days.

Thanks, Clymela.
I was thinking of another "us/them" claim that the radical religious right makes--and that is that the three large monotheistic religions (Jewish, Christian, Muslim) do not worship the same God (known as the God of Abraham.)
People like Gen. Jerry Boynkin (sp?) who are just itching for a holy war and a theocratic America, claim that "Allah" and "God" are two separate deities. (Which is as silly as saying that "Dios" and "God" are different entities.)
Not that people have to believe in different gods in order to have a stupid bloody war.

Mayfly that is profound, of course you are correct in the interruption of indivisible and I never connected the "one nation under god' with the John Birch Society and the Koch (their father started the JBS) the odd thing is the Kochs came out of Kansas and when the "under God" and the public schools there asked all kids to sign a petition stating it was unconstitutional, it didn't matter in the end because they placed it there. In time the "implicite" meaning will be lost and maybe the rabid so called religious right will have gone away. I cannot call them Christians because they don't even seem to relate to the New Testament.
"They" think they can control and take over the world, that's going to be a challange for them at least in my life time. It will be quite a number of years and several set backs on both sides before the world can be controlled, if ever. It was once, at least close and it slipped away. It's the money, control all the money and you can control a lot of folks, or seem to control them. These ultra conservatives are terrified people, it must be awful living like that all the time. Pluto in Capricorn is making their fear much worse right now. The terrified and fearful people simply won't make it because of where their energy is placed.
My grandmother use to say "the things you fear most will come upon you." In my life I would have to say that has been true and I am not mostly fearful. It will be true for others as well.
Uranus is squaring the US Jupiter and Venus too, but it's right on Jupiter it will retro back to Venus, but it will square the Venus/Jupiter midpoint off and on for quite awhile as well as the planets. Those planets are in the US 8th house, so there are going to be sudden gains for this country and sudden losses over the next 18 months. And the stairs go up and the stairs go down. But you can't really tell which is up and which is down.

Pat I found that Einstein quote buried in an old out of print book at least 25 years ago, when folks still thought I was nuts to study physics and energy, wonder if he found it in the same place or if he's reading astroworld, or lover of Einstein
quotes. I know i am, right after Mark Twain.
I think it's that darn US Saturn sq Sun in Libra and Cancer makes us accept the ultra conservative chokeholds on this country in every way, and it bothers me that progressed retrograde Mars is moving back toward the Saturn, it will most certainly be a depressed country then, and then Mars in Gemini squaring Neptune has given rise to this insanity we are experiencing.

Sally-the Dios/God analogy was not mine-belongs to Old MayFly but I absolutely agree. I am grateful to have the thought that just as we speak different languages, eat different foods, wear different clothes, live in different climates so also is our consciousness of God different. And I know that there is the One working through each of us to raise our consciousness so that we will one day live in peace together.
Sally-I also see us going through more hard times when the love of our fellows seems to dry up. I cringe as I witness the resurgence of the fundamentalist authoritarian mind set I grew up with in the 50's. I try to remember that there were those wonderful minds that were rebelling against that mind set that would squelch all creativity.

Some random thoughts here. Before the 2000 election I was doing charts like mad. Al Gore's ascendant and GW Bush's ascendant were close and that made predictions really tough for an amateur like me. So I tried looking at election day itself.
I wrote a friend at the time, "It looks like there is going to be some kind of big upset. But I can't see how that can happen--since the polls show the race so close." Of course, there was the upset of all upsets--the Supreme Court in effect voided the election and selected a president.
Throughout Bush's two terms I credit Astroworld with keeping me on an even keel. I don't believe I've ever thanked you for that, Sally and Morgana, and all posters here. So, thanks. Perspective and context are so important---now, as ever.

Old Mayfly, I do agree with you! We made it through the bush years, but we need to support each other even more now, as electing a Democratic President............didn't go far enough to solving problems, or making the needed changes. I have learned so much from this site.....there is just no substitute out there that comes close.
Clymela, I am hoping the love of my local fellows does not dry up. In fact I think it will increase as things become tougher. The Table of Plenty was wonderful as always today. Someone thought to provide a treat, and made homemade vanilla ice cream, & berry sherbet. The majority of food providers are Christian church groups.......but not of the misguided fundie types. The event also serves as a networking swap/barter resource. I brought home 17 tomato plants as they were going unwanted at the food pantry, If they flourish, I will return the tomatoes to the pantry............It becomes a way of life just like recycling.
Happy 4th everyone!

I hope everyone had a very happy 4th of July, I did for sure. I learned something from one of my 3 year old grandsons. I went to one of my son's house for barbque and fireworks. There is a park close to his house, a city park and they have a huge display and it looks like it's right over his house. Before those fireworks started (which was lovely Tim, my son, had some of those fireworks that when lite kind of sparkled up with stars. He would let his boys (twin 3 year olds) stand by him when he lit the fuse and all would run to the garage and the firework would go off. Noah, one of the twins would wait until it went off and then he would run out to the end of the long driveway, throw his hands up and loudly say MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. His parents and other grandparents would laugh and say "it's the 4th of July Noah, not Christmas" And Noah would kind of slump his shoulders but when the next firework went off he said the same thing over and over and the others would have the same response. On the very last one that my son TIM lit, Noah ran out and said "Merry Christmas Everyone and I ran out with him and said "Bless you tiny Tim" Noah just hugged me and said "it is Christmas isn't it Mimi" and I said "you bet it is Noah, it's Christmas" and we both yelled "MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE"
It made me realize that each day is only what we believe it is, and the joy we can generate in our own minds. So in honor of my grandson, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

Einstein said {"we cannot solve a problem while we are in the same level of thinking that created the problem in the beginning."}
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you SALLY and EVERYONE ELSE!
And this is the OSHO TAROT card I just got for the day.............
4. The Rebel
People are afraid, very much afraid of those who know themselves. They have a certain power, a certain aura and a certain magnetism, a charisma that can take out alive, YOUNG PEOPLE from the TRADITIONAL IMPRISONMENT....
The enlightened man cannot be enslaved - that is the difficulty - and he cannot be imprisoned.... Every genius who has known something of the inner is bound to be a little difficult to be absorbed; he is going to be an upsetting force. The masses don't want to be disturbed, even though they may be in misery; they are in misery, but they are accustomed to the misery. And anybody who is not miserable looks like a stranger.
The enlightened man is the greatest stranger in the world; he does not seem to belong to anybody. No organization confines him, no community, no society, no nation.
Osho The Zen Manifesto: Freedom from Oneself Chapter 9
Commentary:
The powerful and authoritative figure in this card is clearly the master of his own destiny. On his shoulder is an emblem of the sun, and the torch he holds in his right hand symbolizes the light of his own hard-won truth.
Whether he is wealthy or poor, the Rebel is really an emperor because he has broken the chains of society's repressive conditioning and opinions. He has formed himself by embracing all the colors of the rainbow, emerging from the dark and formless roots of his unconscious past and growing wings to fly into the sky. His very way of being is rebellious - not because he is fighting against anybody or anything, but because he has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The eagle is his spirit animal, a messenger between earth and sky.
The Rebel challenges us to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who we are and to live our truth.

Holy Moly! What joy! Sally, You really energized our thought with "Up the Down Staircase." The posts are wonderful. And, I'm finally back this morning after a houseful over the holidays -- 14 of us, in fact. (The "Merry Christmas" experience, Sally, was one those wisdoms out-of-the-mouth of a smart baby/toddler!)
Old Mayfly, love reading your posts.
And Clymela, what profound, transformative, and uplifting words. I love speaking with teens, finding out what it is they're perceiving at this point in history. Your grandson may be experiencing these Uranian transits as upheavals. I hope he is able to find a mentor able to show him how he might use this energy?
Qop, loved the links, but most importantly the "present" as a gift, something I've shared throughout life, for that's exactly what it is.
Dreamed last night of connecting strands of light streaming to and from each entity, object, to and from points in the solar system. We "pull" certain thoughts to us and then "project" them. I'm looking forward to the next dream to further elucidate!

The posts from Karen, old Mayfly (love that handle) Pat and Clymela have just been so great and enlightening, that's exactly what this trio of eclipses are all about, and what a terrific job you all have done in bringing the change of consciousness to us all.

Sally, Karen,psharp-so glad to see you here on the board today.
Karen at this point my SO,Steve seems to be that mentor my grandson needs. They are so close and my gs revels in the knowledge that Steve is devoted to him and offers unconditional love along with wise understanding of the ways of the world.
I am believing that the Evil Ones as I designate the likes of the Koch brothers and other, invisible to me,players in this plan to destroy America have overplayed their hand. It is obvious to me with this mornings jobs report that the right wing Tea Party folk have caused this catastrophe with their destruction of unions, firing of Civil Servants and shutting down states. I am thinking that people see this and what is needed is a loud talking Democratic party.
I love you all so much and I was so excited seeing the new posts. Hope I am not too rabid with my political zeal. I really think that what the Evil Ones have in mind will make Europe in the mid 20th century look like kids AND I know that we are better than that.

Clymela, I don't think you are over the top with your "rabid political zeal" I think we have been understated in "political zeal," in this country. I don't however believe we are better than the "kids" in Europe. They had been badly beaten down by two World Wars fought in their countries plus the depression that affected all countries, like this one is now. There are a few factions that have stood up to all this and one of them is the tea party. I sure don't agree with their positions but I do agree with them standing up, I wish there was a progressive movement who would loudly stand up, we are actually like milk toast. I sure do agree with you that we need to loudly proclaim our belief in a true democratic nation, and I do mean TRUE, we have not had one for a long time now.

Oh Sally thanks for your response. Regarding the "kids" of Europe I wasn't referring to the the fighters in uniform and underground and regular citizens hiding the hunted. What I was trying to say is that I believe that the deadly forces of our age will make the hideous waking reality of WWll Europe look like kids play. Our government now has the weapons that the Nazis only dreamed of.
One thing that more than myself are witness to here in Berkeley is that there is a way to disorient folks so that up is down and East is West, etc. I have gone through it in my own BART station waiting for a train-suddenly I was so confused because the Richmond train was coming down the wrong track going the wrong way towards San Francisco not towards Richmond. I am not a woman given to the vapors, etc and family and friends rely on me to keep us oriented. I got on the Richmond train because I didn't know what else to do and relaxed only once the train passed through Berkeley underground tracks and got into the outdoors and I could orient myself by landmark. My Steve experienced that twice as have others who spoke up when I talked about my experience.I believe that that one of the labs at Berkeley was practicing "crowd control" and I am sure that there are much more malevolent weapons in their arsenal.
The only solution is to speak out loudly and continually. I don't know how to do this. Code Pink is too arty for me oh Saturn/Moon/Pluto girl-I am not very pink nor am I precious-I am pissed in the way that old mother's get pissed-my "children and their world"are in danger and I want change not attention.
Perhaps we could take some clues from the underground of Europe during the WWll era and even from the underground work in places like Chile,El Salvadore,etc-I don't know any books though. If anyone has ideas I would LOVE to hear.
I feel like you that the Tea Party is at least speaking up even if their conclusions are just as wrong as that subway train I saw that day.

This means we are about to meet our true selves, as if for the first time!
We are beginning to build a relationship with the new beings we have become and this relationship is a very balanced and sacred one that will accurately be reflected back to us thru new balanced and sacred relationships with others and with the material world. “As above, so below...as within, so without" is not just some new age platitude…its physics."

Pat, these were lovely and wonderful. It just takes you away. Saturn does sound cold and technological, the guts of technology. I loved them and listened quite awhile. They were all beautiful and I picked up Venus on the site, equally lovely. I wonder if their level of communication is sound and we just cannot understand it, I wonder if that's their language.
Good ideas Clymela and I have often thought of the underground material the French and Austrians and Normandy printed and distributed through out Europe. I've wondered if that would serve us in some manner. "I'm not a woman given to vapors" now that is funny Clymela, can't imagine you given to vapors and it's such an old phrase. I loved it, really loved it. Good thinking on your subways as a potential cause "crowd control" I cannot imagine why they are doing that and what difference would it make what train, I don't know but I would keep my eye on it.
The shift in consciousness that we are all given the opportunity to do is going to bring a lot confusion and we are trying to keep one foot on shore and another in the boat praying the boat doesn't leave, it makes us feel unstable and suspecting of our so called leaders and the direction they are trying to take us. Gee why would we mistrust them?

Sally-I always loved that term "the vapors" and the way it was used in Victorian times and I knew as a girl that I would never be "wafting and swooning" away like that. No! little flat footed peasants such as myself are always a little too familiar with the world.
At any rate I don't think that getting us on one train or another is the point of these confusion instruments but rather perhaps the use of radio waves, etc (I am no scientist)are being developed to cause crowds to run into dead ends, etc.
I work so much better with others thatasc v I want to find those who perhaps are willing to write up, print and distribute pages that will tell folks the truth.
Today I am off to help a friend home from the hospital following hip replacement to help her get set up and to go to the store, etc. From this is coming the opportunity to do home health work part time for $$$$-we have been so broke of late even though my income has not decreased.
I also have gotten a connection with a Reiki teacher and I am so looking forward to these lessons. I do feel as though I turned a corner. I am not ashamed to say that a friend gave me a tranquillizer and that calmed me enough to get me moving into paths that support tranquility=I never thought of myself as anxious but there it is-I don't have another pill but should I find myself once again on the bed going over and over my childhood, etc I will accept medicine to get me on my feet and out of that basememnt=I am not too proud and I am not lazy so that I follow up chemical help with the old shoe leather such as Reiki training and prayer, etc. I just got stuck for a minute.
Loving you dear Sally. I get so excited when you talk politics and get down to where we live.

Clymela; your comment( One thing that more than myself are witness to here in Berkeley is that there is a way to disorient folks so that up is down and East is West, etc. I have gone through it in my own BART station waiting for a train-suddenly I was so confused because the Richmond train was coming down the wrong track going the wrong way towards San Francisco not towards Richmond.) reminded me of this conversation last week.
["Protein in eyes can function as magnetic sensor
Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Medical School have
discovered that a protein expressed in the human retina has the capability
of sensing magnetic fields when placed into fruit flies.
"It poses the question, 'maybe we should rethink about this sixth sense,'"
Steven Reppert, of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, told
LiveScience. "It is thought to be very important for how animals migrate.
Perhaps this protein is also fulfilling an important function for sensing
magnetic fields in humans."
The research, published in Nature Communications this week, found that
fruit flies could sense and respond to an electric-coil-generated magnetic
field when their native retina protein was replaced with a human retina
protein called "human cryptochrome 2 protein (hCRY2)."
Previous studies had shown that the fruit flies' native protein could
function as a light-dependent magnetic sensor, but whether hCRY2 could
function similarly was unknown.
Many birds and sea turtles use the Earth's magnetic field to navigate
during long migrations, but it was assumed that humans did not have a
similar magnetic sense.
The research shows that hCRY2 has the capability to function in a magnetic
sensing system, but there is currently no evidence that it is actually
used by the human nervous system in this way.
"Additional research on magneto sensitivity in humans at the behavioral
level, with particular emphasis on the influence of magnetic field on
visual function, rather than non-visual navigation, would be informative,"
wrote Reppert and his colleagues in the study."]
my answer:
"Now.I wonder if when they do cateract surgery REMOVING your natural lense & replacing it with a laboratory made model that focuses to the center of a ballfield ( if that's what you want to look at; great!) If you want a multifocus lens, you'd better have $4,500 to pay for it. Not Medicare OR ANY PRIVATE INSURER PAYS THAT!
Maybe they're trying to make a large part of the population "IN THE DARK?" LOST"?
I have a feeling this research is way too early to have an effect on
cataract surgeries...but boy, you raise a terrific point, Pat....

UMMMMMM! Psharp i will have to sleep on this and reread it more than once and thank you for thinking on my thoughts and words.
I am worn out today: brought a friend home form hospital after two weeks getting a hip replaced. We had to go get food and drugs and we were all worn out but our friendship is stronger than ever. Nothing so intimate as being with someone when they are down. She is a scholar and so bright. Had to pull out all my Jungian thought for Steve: real anima/animus issues there and S was close to choking her before I explained the Jungian facts of life. He is so relieved to understand what goes on between them and I am so relieved to have figured out a way to explain things so that there are no winners or losers just people who want to like each other and to get along.

I feel like a very sick woman, I am so disappointed in myself, feeling unworthy of any kindness, or support. But the truth is I cannot keep a smile off my face these days, I am so happy at Rupert Murdoch's bout with Karma, it thrills me to the core.
We all pay off Karma and I don't believe in rejoycing in other people's trouble, no matter who they are, but I am so tickled pink over this and I don't feel guilt, just pleasure. Ouch, that's really terrible, guess I feel a little guilt but still happy.
Rupert has a couple of years ahead of him with bad news, and he may never see jail but he will see the end of his empire, how happy that is.

It's hard to feel empathy for Murdoch (and all the others you mentioned, Clymela including those we've yet to "see"). Hard to have empathy for persons who have none for others. Hard to have empathy for those who throw each other under the bus!

Sally, your names--both maiden and marriage--indicate a Celtic background. This is my heritage also. Did you ever see that fun movie based on a Broadway play, Paint Your Wagon?
One of the main characters sings/says, "Back East you have to love your neighbor. But out here you can hate the bastard."
Don't worry about it. Celts are scrappy. It comes with the territory. I remember when I realized I could live as a Christian only if the world ended very shortly. Some present-day Christians, bless 'em--have worked out a compromise where they can have families, live in the present-day world, etc.
I especially respect the Quakers, the sane Episcopalians, etc. for that. But it is a compromise.
The path Jesus laid out, strictly speaking, is not for mothers and fathers with children, etc.
But we can be ourselves, true to our own natures and also thoughtfully honoring and congruent with the great Mind while we our fighting those who would diminish the ideals of our country.
Well, I seem to be verging on the pretentious so will quit now.

I do well remember "Paint your Wagon" and love that quote "out here you can hate the bastards" Thanks Mayfly for that reminder, because while I don't hate him, I do believe him to be a disgusting and odious bastard for sure, and believe him to be deserving of this Karma for all the damage he's done. He should have remembered that advice "be nice to people on your way up because they will be there as you are coming down." I have the same feeling about Eric Cantor and the rest of the puffed up GOP with there focus on bringing down a democratic president any democratic president at the expense of this country just for their Ayn Rand ideals. What pissants.Well that rant felt good.

There is a lovely little stone church in the woods,
designed by a Phila. Architect who summered there tears ago, baptismal font a rock with a hollow, carved init by the sea, "Neptune", cradled in a stand fashioned from twigs, Victorian, back to nature, style.
Two of my Grandchildren were christened there, and you can see the cottage on the shore, they rent every year, from the church yard. They will be there in about 1 1/2 weeks!

Karen, your comments are always to the point.
Yesterday went out to our city/kitchen garden and found 5 fresh green beans, a small Japanese eggplant (about the size of my two fingers), plenty of parsley, a small yellow crookneck squash, a bell pepper, chives, plenty of Swiss chard (only used one leaf) and thought, "What to do?"
Stir-fry! Cooked brown rice and sauteed the veg in olive oil. Topped all with soy sauce. Delicious! Also good for the gardener ego.

I love the gardening successes. I don't have any place for a garden but I do have tomatoes in pots and some herbs, and I am excited about my tomatoes growing. Can't wait for them to become big and juicy. I like tomatoes and have been known to make a meal off of them with some dill weed and mozzerella (sp?) cheese on top put them under the broiler till the cheese begins to melt and it is delicious.
We have some community gardens around here and I belong to one but Denver is about a month behind other places for them to grow, our yield won't be for another two or three weeks. Actually there are quite a few community gardens. The botanic gardens are just about three blocks up the street and I belong to that one. We do the weeding but they do the watering and keeping bugs out, it has been a really great garden.
I remember a push for community gardens in the early 70's and at that time I had a fairly big one in my back yard with corn and peas and beans and squash and pumpkins and lettuce and chard and onions, can't remember what else was in there, oh strawberries. There were lots of gardens around at that time then I guess we all got lazy and this is the first time we have been bringing them back over the last five or six years.
I've always thought with so many US planets in Cancer and in the 8th house food was really our most stable growth product for the rest of the world, also things that stabilize families or could stabilize families around the world. So many products that can do that. We did do that for a long time and were successful but then it all dried up here. Technology really isn't a gig for the US and most European countries have out stripped us in Technology because it isn't the thing that fits with the energy in the US, not in a big way, even in cars, other countries out did us. It would do a country well to look at their energy and work with it not against it. We still export food but with the import and export laws now it's much harder. If they get their "third world way" through I wonder where we in the US will fit into their tapestry.
I do believe that it will take a few more years, but the Murdoch fall is the beginning of chaos for these large Corporations. Murdoch made too many enemies on his climb and now there are those in England clamoring for his entire empire to be broken up and I believe it will be broken up. He controls the majority of the media in the US, England and Australia, his media market share around the world is beyond huge and people don't like him at all. He's been too mean, too salacious, too threatening, too un-yielding. His "old" friends in politics and banking are trying to put distance between them now. But it looks like the beginning of the end for the "too big to fail." Even if they don't break it up these people will not be trusted again.

HMMMM! Yummm! Sally thanks for the words regarding gardens and farmer's markets. Yesterday we discovered a huge farmer's market in an upscale part of town. There are now markets up everyday of the week and although they are no longer dollar cheap they are value cheap-peak of freshness and organic so I guess all in all they are economic buys. I only planted lettuces this spring but I am planning to plant soon for "winter" crops-chard,kale,spinach,etc. California can grow something all year round at least the areas around the coast.
I love going out doors and working- there is a connection there just as there is a connection in where the "stars" are. I don't need to understand everything what I do understand is enough to thrill me deeply.

OMG!!!! I can not believe the awfulness of Mucrdoch. I am watching him before the lawmakers of Great Britain (I can't bring the Body's name to mind so early in the morning)and he switches from being a lost old man, to terrifying oligarch, to shocked citizen, and he has thrown the lovely Rebbeka under the bus. His son reminds me of the Nazis of the 30's-efficient and convinced of his father's innocence and the absolute uprightness of the company. OMG!!! I can not believe this-these guys are just ordinary dudes and daddy is a little dim. They really think that "we" are stupid!!

Psharpart, thanks for info re Nazi-type (and ex-Nazi) singers. I have been interested in them since I was a women's clinic defender and heard the horrific lyrics the protesters played on their "boom boxes."
Re Michele Bachman's migraines and medications, I think this is a Karl Rove ploy to cut Michele off. Michele, of course is nuts:
"Bachman 2012--In your guts you know she's nuts."
But the Right-wing/big money boys don't want her as a candidate. She is valuable as a bit player. They want their own guy who will be a willing serf for his (definitely, "his") corporate masters.

For weeks now I have avoided the mainstream media news, sinking myself into old Law and Order series, but the last three days I broke that pattern and begain watching again because of the debt crisis (ha, ha) and SS and Medicare fight, and revenue raising discussions (taxes) and of course Rupert Murdoch scandals. WHAT A MISTAKE, I feel sick to my stomach all day now, I am so disturbed and angry over these yahoos. I think we may have lost the battle, but we will not lose the war, that's for sure. I have to stop screaming that these people don't care about this country or the folks in it, and just accept they don't care. And I don't make distinctions anymore between Dem and GOP, not when it comes to politicians.
Pat, I do know the Kochs, they are from Kansas and their father was one of the founding fathers of the John Birch Society. MY father did not like old Mr. Koch at all, he was a friend of my Aunt and my dad was warning her about him all the time. He was a typical picture of a greedy man filled with hatred and arrogance.
Mayfly, I think you hit the nail on the head about Michell Bachmann and how they are using her, to think they just use us and not each other is ridiculous.
Clymela, I loved your description of the Murdoch hearings. I was in a board retreat all day so I have only seen clips of the day but I can sure get what you were talking about. If this doesn't let up for him, he will eventually throw James under the bus. David Cameron will have alot to answer for. I did hear that the Murdochs were not required to take and oath, that's too bad.

Old Mayfly...loved that quote on Michelle Battybachman! Laughing myself silly this morning over that slogan.
Pat, I love the examples of how the web has been weaved. Thanks for sharing!
Now, I've been "forced" to be quiet, because of a shoulder injury resulting from chucking 60 lb. pieces of wood off the truck. (We're getting our winter supply of wood in.) Anyway, like you, Sally and Clymela, I've wathced the psychotic behaviors being exhibited on the world stage. The whole farce has me asking the following. Given Uranus is in Aries, and the qualities of each, how will this explosive energy manifest? If Aries rules the head, then is Uranus electrifying rash ideas? And, if we are to have a crisis of some kind, how will this play out? If a head injury, what might that mean to the spine? In other words, might we experience a grid meltdown? And, what might the result be beyond the horrific number of heat-related deaths?
I know, my thoughts are grim, but then, these are chaotic times and anything is possible.

Sally-I definitely need to do some 12 Step work to get me off the "news"-I do believe that keeping up on developments is causing me trouble.
I had never seen anything like the Murdochs in action and I was fascinated and repelled sort of like watching a python eat a pig.
Then yesterday the President gives word that he is supporting a fiscal agreement that he has not yet read. I went to bed convinced that Obama is a Trojan Republican hired to tear the Democrats asunder. I awakened this morning thinking that perhaps the agreement simply allows the use of generic drugs and perhaps co-pays such as I have with Kaiser. I always believed that Medicare Part D was done in order to destroy Medicare by making the plan too expensive to maintain.
Oh and yesterday we took our "friend" to the grocery store for chickens that were being sold for 88cents a pound and had to observe her going into a complete racist diatribe against an Asian worker. Steve and I were so shocked that we only this morning could discuss what happened. If this highly educated supposedly progressive woman could be reduced to this level of hate and blindness we are in trouble-deep,deep trouble.
So that is my whine of the day and I am NOT living in a heat wave area.

Ha, Clymela I just read an article that has 1 in 66 Americans have been diagnosed as psychotic and are on drugs to control it. I think a lot of them must be in Washington and the NY Media. This study includes kids where 1 in 40 have been diagnosed as psychotic or bi=polar. The elderly and kids are most at risk because medication decisions are out of their hands. Well I am sure not going to let these people drive me over the edge so I am giving them up for the most part. I am so tired of their skreed and drama's I have enough of my own don't need all that's going on. If we are mentally ill, I think I will use my mental illness thinking about flowers and beauty and fun.

1 in 66?? amazing. I am thinking this is a case of the medicine searching for a condition to cure.
flowers, beauty and fun?? OMG!! Why didn't I think of that?! Wonderful just wonderful. Right now I am making soup for the family. Everyone just turned up here which seems to happen about every quarter. I choose to focus on feeding the family and listening to my grandson make music-I didn't even know that he was musically inclined but here he is with guitar in hand.

Wonderful friends! Are we lucky or what? Sally, Morgana created this fine board that we could gather here, share our love of this world, and the hurt surrounding the need to control a life that was gifted to each of us, none more important than another. Yet, why is it we continue to separate ourselves one from another? The farther away we get from that seed given us during what, the Big Bang? the greater our "differences."
I keep wondering if the bullies in the House, in the media, all those forcing unnatural changes upon the seeds, or the drugs used to control made-up disorders are ready to face the consequences of their acts?
The inability to "compromise" has now come to an explosive head. And those who have yet to pay attention to what is going on will suddenly be pointing fingers, raging at someone. But who? This is another part of the strategy -- to make it seem as though union members, democrats, anyone other than white, and others have created our demise. The latter being the farthest from the truth, but one that bothers me the most given how vicious (Clymela's post above) we can be.

18. Mother, for readers who may not understand the FULL EFFECTS OF FEAR,and how IT HOLDS PEOPLE CAPTIVE,, please locate the passage about that in one of the books and insert it here.
The energy of fear forms a barrier between the feared object or situation and the energy of light, thus neither the light in the souls of fear-filled persons nor light sent to them from any other source can reach their consciousness to dispel the power that fear holds over their lives. The barrier acts like a prison wall, isolating persons within their fears and offering no way out. Furthermore, fear is such a magnified emotion that it strengthens the barrier’s energy blockage and intensifies the force of whatever is feared.
And, fearful persons keep creating more fear-filled circumstances to deal with. Through the universal law of attraction, or “like attracts like,” the energy streamers they send out attract “like” streamers and bring those back to the originating sources.
Not only is fear is wildly contagious, but due to its magnified power, fear sensation streamers have sticky edges that attract the kinds of energetic interactions that omit common sense, rational thought, sound judgment and wise decisions. Fear is so insidious that it can convince persons that the only way to escape is through portals that lead deeper and deeper into fear, and sometimes into darkness. Fear is the forebear of prejudice, tyranny, greed, bellicosity, deception, dishonor, hatred, and torturous treatment of helpless animals—all of those characteristics and behaviors arise from psyches that are twisted and tormented by fear.
Every physical form is energy fluctuating at one frequency or another and each form sustains itself by drawing in “like” energy. The make-up of ones with dark hearts and minds is fear, so the law of attraction draws to them the energy generated by fearful individuals who unwittingly provide the fuel that the dark ones need to sustain themselves.
Fear also is their most effective weapon against the light, and causing fear is a win-win situation for them. The very same energy that debilitates and holds captive those fearful individuals not only keeps refueling the dark ones, but people who live in fear are easily dominated, deceived and afraid to challenge authoritarian figures whose intentions and deeds are based in darkness.
So fear is potent indeed, but light is the most powerful force in the cosmos and people who live in the light never need to fear anything! What about people who are afraid of death? What you call death is that lightning-fast transition of the soul from the body to Nirvana, Earth’s spirit world that many of you call heaven. In the light of that wondrous realm, people whose past lifetime was marked by fear prepare to be stronger and less vulnerable in their next physical lifetime, the next evolutionary step in the eternal life of their souls.
Re: drugs/psychotic..........My 17 yr old Grandsonwho is bright, out of the box, and escaped the school personel's attempts to dope him up on Ritalin, ( through his fierce, small but mighty, Mother's ABSOLUTE REFUSAL to go that route!) has researched it and found a homepathic remedy that creates the same effects, without harmful side effects, addictive qualities.......
He is experiencing a huge burst of creative, productive energy, with Pluto, sq, & Uranus conjunct his 4o Aries Mars..( in the 5th of
course). With his NN exactly conjunct and his N Pluto 3o past, my Moon in Scorpio, we talked, in depth, sitting in Adirondack chairs, on the lawn in the moonlight sparkling on the waters of the Bay.............a moment to treasure! AND payback for my patiently helping him learn how to vanquish Harry Potter's foes with the click of a mouse 10 years ago! After he went in.......
My totem that evening was a Tinkerbell sighting!
remember her? "I believe" made her dim light brighter?
I KID YOU NOT ( well we did have a little champagne with dinner.........)I saw two greenish lights together on the rocks by the shore....first guess fireflies, but there were no other lights ANYWHERE......then I guessed small animal searching for scraps of edibles washed up by the tides.....that worked until it went into the treeline and flew up in the air about 10', then emerged from the trees and landed on the lawn by the foundation of the cottage and ran along there. ????????
It could have been a nightbird or bat I guess.......but I prefer to think Tinkerbell, to remind us to BELIVE to keep the light bright!
Life is a banquet, death happens ONLY once, and "living death" is a choice! I will go skidding into home plate LMAO!

QOP-I BELIEVE!!!! Loved that story and the info regarding your grandson. My grandson is being medicated and is in residential schooling and although he has done better in terms of organized thinking he is NOT HAPPY and some of the more serious symptoms have returned. I'll "write to you about the homeopathy.
It is warm here today and we were able to fill the kitchen for the family=cooking and eating scheduled. The young ones sleep in but I still get up early because our cats get me up between 4:30 and 5 AM for their first meal of the day. They grew up when I was still working and commuting 25 miles to get there by 7AM. I think they are afraid that I am dead if I don't get up and make breakfast for them BEFORE the sun.
OH Karen we are so blessed to have this wonderful place in which we are free to retreat from the meanness and fear that roams like a hungry monster these days. Yes those who have not been free to trust and love are going to be very shocked and I do fear that they could be tricked into being very cruel. I know that some of my family live in fear and they hold back sharing this with me because I am not "a
Christian"which I am by culture and education but I can't believe the childish stuff that passes for Christianity for most folk.
Good morning and Good day wonderful friends. I do really love you and so look forward to your words and thoughts.

1 in every 40 kids in the US are tapped as mentally ill. They gotta do something about all those creative kids and the new generations of thinkers. So many are medicated who don't need it, they are making us crazy here in this country and several others.
Here's where we get our energy at least a great deal of it. Very interesting the portals that open and shut around the universe and even here on earth. They will find a lot more when they get around to really studying the universe including the earth, after they stop figuring out how to plunder everything they can.

Sally -thank you so much for your words. My grandson has always been smarter and more creative than the rest of us and he is bigger and he has a bigger heart so loving. I am so grateful that Steve came into my life the very year that the grandson was conceived-his natural father just didn't want him even called him a fat dufus(don't know how that word is spelled) in my presence one day when my grandson was a chubby kid learning to play ball-this about a child who never ever used training wheels but could ride his own two wheeler when he was two years old!! Oh enough of that but my Steve is his spiritual father-brilliant creative genius on his own since he was 15-he has just the knowledge and understanding that my grandson needs. I am so grateful and so grateful that there are folks like you in the world who recognize these wonderful children for what they are-not crazy but this world wants to lock them down.
I am also so grateful that with Saturn Moon Pluto in the fourth house I can simply retreat from the "world" and cook and clean and maintain the castle for my family and myself. This is definitely a time when I am withdrawing and pulling up the bridge. We will invite only those who are known to be like us until the "world" calms down again.

Equally tragic for one family is this story, and both highlight, how unconsciousness of what is going on around one, leads to tragedy.

An interesting comment by the PM of Norway. He said "we are not going into fear like the United States did after 9/11" We certainly did go into fear and we are not out of it yet. Gun sales are rising rapidly.
We are absolutely steeped in Militia and right wing radicals, who tonight on their blogs are calling for the murder and eradication of all liberals so they can never rise again. Does that sound like Germany in the 30's, it does to me. Love! As much love and compassion as we can put out is what's needed and what will heal this anger and hatred swiming around like a killer shark, waiting to attack. Love is the one answer the universe is waiting for from us. Love toward all mankind, even those with whom we would rather not dine. Those that can really want to work on eliminating fear from their lives. Have faith in the Universe to provide, they are filthy rich and loaded with resources, we just have to ask and believe they will come through for all who have faith in the universe which supports us all. Remember our guides and angels don't work for a corporation, they have and have always had an open check book and like it or not "their mercy falls on the just and unjust" do that's good because none of us have to be perfect, never needed to be perfect. I know to some this sounds ridiculous and impossible, however it is not. Remember the bible passage about the lily that neithers works or toils and is cared about with their needs supported? Well let's work toward being a lily.
Transiting Pluto and transiting Uranus are both aspecting the US Jupiter in the 8th house, could be a drain in money and resources, could be a huge humiliation, could be a massive death count. Norway (new constitution May 8,1945) is also being negatively impacted, as well as several other countries. It is a mess out there in the world and it's all (people) our fault. We have been too trusting, too wanting to believe that all of us could have a better life and trusting that these leaders could give it to us.
There was a Washington, DC reporter who said "these people (politicians) are a big huge suck that could not figure out a rubick's cube if it was one solid color."
Remember to have faith and we will all get by just fine, but those stealing our rights and our money have a bucket load of karma just waiting for them and Pluto delivers Karma, so does Neptune. We can only wish them good luck as they wind themselves like lemings off the cliff. I don't know the day or time but it will happen.

Wow! Great posts! By the way, Sally, Morgana, I've had a heck of time getting on the website. This, just over the past week. You wonder what "lights" are being manipulated as we journey into the dark of humanity. And, yes, it's being supported in order to form a more perfect union of wealth for the privileged by the privileged which when you think about it is absolutely hysterical. It's all so temporary! And, as you so eloquently state above, Sally, when this hateful energy rebounds on the host, it will be profoundly sad for those who felt themselves superior. They will now become the most impoverished, at which time their spirits will be hungry for "good works." I have faith that this will be so.

If what has been going on in Washington and around the world this past week and the Uranus/Pluto square is not yet complete and won't be until next year I don't know how to carry on. The conjunction destroyed my personal life and I had to rebuild from the ashes but at least I was young and full of the energy. With all the violence that is part of squares well, to be exact squares can be full of violence and this one seems to be, I am tired, weary of the meanness.
I check myself as I have been trained in various disciplines to see if I am projecting unlived parts of myself and yes I can see that perhaps I gave the old right-wing consciousness that I grew up in the old heave-ho but still.... this gang of Tea Party is plain mean and frightening. The trick they are playing with the FAA is terrifying and is leaving real people up the creek so to speak. This doesn't say anything about what is going on with Obama, etc. And then there is the massacre in Norway and the starvation on the Horn of Africa.
For us and perhaps the world I keep bringing to mind the fact that Hitler and his troop got into power with a minority percentage of the vote. The world just let all of that slide into place and I wonder if we are close to this again.

Clymela, this dark energy is intent upon sucking each of us to its abyss. In doing so, that energy acquires yet more power. Yet, you are living with light in your heart, and feed it through your acts of kindness. That there were more, like yourself (and everyone who posts on this board), living outward that expression of life-giving joy.
It is difficult to express that joy when you are aware of the uncaring, and devastating acts of those who gain power ONLY from creating fear and pain. Simplistically, I vision a mirror, holding it up to reflect back on those who feel they are doing "god's" work by intending harm. I say simplistic, but it works for me. Then, so does burning sage.
The above is more symoblic than magical. Only I am giving it import by focusing my thought on cleaning away the sticky dirt of dastardly deeds.
In the end, that is all we can do, for the Earth herself will reclaim what has been taken. In doing so, each and every entity on this planet is being and will be affected. So, all the machinations, all the greed, all the abject cruelty may not end (this is the Universe-ity, after all) but some sense of balance will be achieved, some will graduate, others will have to repeat their classes.

Karen-thank you so much for the words of calm and of love and light reminding me to turn off the radio from time to time and to get me another smudge stick. I love that idea of holding up a mirror so that those who would wound those they don't approve of could see their own faces.
Thank you for the loving response to my weariness and for the reminder that it is a passing mood and that I can rely on love which is not a passing mood. thanks also for your words regarding the presence of darkness here and the thought that it may always be here. As weary as I am now I have no need to think of life as only light-I love shadow and contrast which is lost without shadow. I love CG Jung who was always insistent that the shadow be acknowledged and respected.
I love you all and even dreamed of you all last night-listening to your thoughts of love and encouragement that although we may be few in numbers we are mighty in spirit. So have a beautiful day in light or shadow or hopefully both.

And as we reach out............we find other circles of light to connect with.......
Eileen Nauman
I remember thirty years ago telling a friend that those born in the 1940's and 1950's were going to be on the 50 yard line of Life. That a certain group of souls came in to anchor the new Aquarian energy. Now, we're in our 50's and 60's and I see my knowing is coming true in every way. To be an anchor for this world as it goes thro...ugh the throes of birth, leaving Pisces and moving into Aquarius, we are all accountable during this exciting event. And we are asked to participate in this amazing time frame. Birth is not easy. It's painful. And we're in the birth canal right now, symbolically speaking. Each of us are asked to climb into our hearts and leave the other three lower chakras. If we stay in the lower three, we opt for FEAR. If we work to stay or at least try for the heart, we are learning compassion. And with heart and love energy, we can help the world as a whole. All heart begins at home with ourselves. Can we love ourselves? Like us who we are, warts and all? No one is perfect in this world. Can we feel compassion for those around us? If we can, we're an anchor for the positive and healthy energy that is there waiting to be claimed. Each of us is literally, a cosmic radio antenna putting out our signal to cosmos. When this occurs, there is an equal and opposite reaction...a good one. We then become transceivers of the loving energy that comes with birthing. So, the choice is pretty simple: do you live in fear? Or do you live in love? That's the only two energy presently out there ;-). Let's do our best to work from our heart chakra. After all, energetically speaking, we are all bound and connected to everyone and everything. Why not live your life in the positive instead of sinking into the fear mongering? I opt for the heart. And we're all capable of not only getting there, but actually operating out of it. We weren't born into this age and time for nothing :-)

Sally,Morgana,Psharpart(QOP),Karen and myself, I dreamed of us working together and I saw us as a hand with five fingers. I remember that we were in a crowded situation being jostled with lots of "traffic", verbal and physical, and I remember that I was a little anxious but there was a sense of fulfillment as well once I could see the hand and the fingers.
don't know what that meant but I was really surprised to have this group show up in my dream-to me this makes solid what was alive in my heart-that there is something unique going on here amongst us. I name the five of us who show up regularly and who were clear to me through the dream even though I don't have real personal physical memories of anyone and it is not meant to close out those who "lurk" or just don't comment anymore. I know that there are some who can't get signed in and I suppose that there are those who "lurk".
My grandson is doing so well these days. I think the thing that really turned him around is the party his mother gave for him and his friends around the 4th-she is repeating this for his birthday (9/6/96 at 5:47 PM Berkeley,CA). He has just been so collected lately although not unnaturally so-he and his mom got in an argument and Steve and I went over and got him so that he could cool off here. Just letting you all know because I went in to so much detail last week or so.
Morgana-I just wanted to follow up on your words because you expressed so clearly what I have been feeling and saying. I come here as if I were laying down in the summer heat under the shading limbs of a huge tree (oak?). The conversation and insight is always a little beyond what I find anywhere else. Astrology used as a code and a map for life and life lived deeply with commitment to love.

I used to picture Philadelphis society ( I DON"T mean the "Blue Book") as a series of concentric circles, based basically on occupation & interests. The circles pulsated in & out of one another, as individuals came together for a specific purpose ( a party? a charitable event.....school functions. (It WAS the City of Brotherly Love...........
And here is an up date on the 9th Wave........

Stunning is right. Words pulled together and aimed laser sharp!
The last paragraph in page 4, needs to be repeated passed on, emphasized, my perception is that it is the KEY, to opening the door of the ignorant dreamers among us, who are blaming all the wrong people/actions, for our swift downward descent.
It is wonderfully simplistic, easy to understand.
I have passed it on to some others.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Bill's article was so good and very reflective on the Pluto energies. Pluto destroys and then in time rebuilds to something better. The key phrase here with Pluto is "time." Pluto takes over two hundred years to traverse the zodiac, he has the time.
We, people, determine what kind of life we want to live, not the corporations or governments or banks, we do. When we cannot it's a sure sign we have given our power away. Energy shows up for us, just energy and WE decide how to handle it and what that energy is going to look like.
I have an Aries daughter and she loves drama, if there isn't any she creates it and draws dramatic people into her life, so there is a drama for her all the time. Part of me loves drama and when I was pregnant with her she was pre-mature, what was to be another solid Taurus daughter, turned into a very solid Aries. I had to have set that timing up, I know I did.
We look at things and people in our lives and decide "it's that or them" but it isn't, they or it are only the catalyst we drew to face what we didn't want to face.
Remember the "my mercy falls on the just and the unjust" take a look at the theft the banks and governments have perpetrated on people around the globe, it's been great for them and their plan was brilliant, horrible for the rest of us, and we didn't have a plan on how to remove them, but our quiet over the last 30 years have given our tacit approval. We elected people that most of us didn't really examine their flaws, if we knew about them we made the assumption that they would be different, we have not held their feet to the fire when we had the chance. partly because we came out of the tumult of the 60's and 70's and were just happy to have a little peace and quiet and credit cards. Well we cannot go back.
The trick to changing things is to stay clear with the reality of the situation but to hold on to our illusions and plant seeds of good things. Ellen Nauman's comment above "I remember thirty years ago telling a friend that those born in the 1940's and 1950's were going to be on the 50 yard line of Life. That a certain group of souls came in to anchor the new Aquarian energy.' is applicable. Each generation comes to accomplish a task for the younger generation and this is ours. I urge everyone to read just the positive traits of Aquarius and spread those traits where ever you have the opportunity and be on guard for the negatives try to turn folks toward the positive. At least give them something to think about.
The reality of our situation is our government is corrupt, we don't know who or if there are any good guys. As far as we know this debt ceiling thing isn't a plan by both the Dems and GOP to make it a crisis so that we will be willing to make any sacrifice toward to SS and Medicare and Medicaid to "save" the country. Those social programs have nothing to even do with the debt ceiling, no does their budget. So face our realities and hang on to the illusions, in fact fight in any manner you can to hang on to them.
The reality is we don't really know what's going on, they throw the word transparent out there and that is the illusion, hold them to that word. Forget about calling them liars, that to is a reality, hold them to the illusions they throw into the mix. I can think of lots of ways to separate the wheat from the chaff and really make their toes tingle. Warrors don't have to carry pitchforks and torches, they don't have to use nasty angry words, standing firm does such a good job and I thank the gop for teaching me that. Standing firm on principle can be used for good or for ill, I choose to use it for good.

Sally-those words went straight to my heart perhaps because you began by standing calm in Pluto which most of us dare not but some of us must through the position of fate in our lives.
Ii have long been haunted by the warrior in me and in life. I longed to be pacifist but alas I was not born that way and tonight I will sleep in the new, to me, meaning of the warrior and how "He
Shows up idn my life and the physical posture required to assume in the moment of recognition and honor.
thank you for this-I am more than I was and clearer in every expression of who I am. As this days closes for me I am illuminated by this image of the warrior and the truth-Mars rising just beyond the 29th degree of Aries rising. I have been haunted here since I left the instinctual knowledge of the warrior that I was born with. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this and for the clarion call to wake up t0 the reality of the times.
wow! Yes the five finger exercise indeed. Love to everyone this evening.

I was checking my Mother's chart yesterday........
& I realized that her North node was in Aquarius!
Dec. 2 1914-May 31 1916.
She instilled in me some very strong Aquarian ideals & principles, that I have been waiting patiently; and NOT SO patiently at times, to see manifested! 60's & 70's looked like a go; then it regressed........worse with every passing year! So yes, we are here to "kick the can" further down the road......
Does anyone else have parents born in that year 1/2?

Bonnie York's dream
["Walk with me, my darker sister, through the broken glass of our lives.
We are one coin spinning through space, two sides, one coin ...
Look at me, my darker sister reflecting all the beauty of pleasure and pain.
Without you I am flat, one dimensional alone. Reflect with me my darker sister reaching for suspended stars in the night sky.
In our dreams we walk on water................. together we fly"]

Brilliant Sally! Brilliant! Yes, this debt ceiling negotiation is contrived. The only vote required is a vote on the debt ceiling. Period. All the other posturing is, well, the result of centuries long thinking (yes, even by the oligarchs who are about to experience a profound challenge to the illogic of their thinking...there's that Gem logic again). The absurdity of a paternalistic god who imbues believers with the power to oversee the affairs of others has shadowed our human existene. Grown ever more potent during the age of Pisces, we now enter the lightening-fast piercings of Uranus' laughter as the Aquarian Age dawns with a brilliance (and sometimes vengence).
Interesting that you, qop and others have re-visited the above for it brought to mind the number of people who have insisted that I must have an Aquarian ascendant (since I do not have a correct birth time). My mother was born in the early 20's, but my father in the teens. Both had personalities that exhibited both sides of the same coin. Progressive on one hand, rigid on the other.
And, Clymela, you ARE a warrior! No sense tryig to sublimate it. You live your ideals, rooted in Love. That's power!

Psharpart, my father was born 1918 and my mother 1923. My father was much more rigid-the Saturn in Leo thing I think and my mother had Saturn in Libra much easier going but more emotional due to other factors.
I sent that wonderful poem on to a friend who has the other side of my chart (10/5/1946)-we are in ways soul sisters-separated by class issues as girls only to reunite in maturity-full of love and wonder that our lives have reflected each other. Our charts form a grand square and a kite-lots to share-grand riches of relatedness.
I think that there are many who feel so left out even though they work so hard that they are still believing the Tea Baggers play. I wonder why the Democrats are so reticent to explain that Medicare and Social Security are paid for by those who utilize the programs. Are they also afraid to lose campaign cash? Or is that money gone now as well?
Love to you all again and again.

ONLY those born BETWEEN, Dec. 2 1914 and May 31 1916, have the nodes in N.node Aquarius/S.node Leo! ONE YEAR & 5 MONTHS.
Calling them to leave behind the familiar, South Node Leo life style of melodrama, willfull stubborness, risktaking, royalty, self centeredness & oblivian to others needs, Making Changes Just to Exercise Authority,( lotta that going around on all sides, recently, with the large Pluto in Leo Gen.) playfulness, need for approval, doing what's expected......
AND learn to embrace the North Node Aquarian attributes: Awareness of equality, champion humanitarian causes, objectivity ( seeing the whole picture),group participation, & best interest of, recognizing & relating to others as individuals, ( No more "& WHat do YOU DO?") Willingness to share UNCONVENTIONAL IDEAS.

Psharhart, I am so glad I suggested the 4th Turning to you and sent the you tube interview with Mr. Howe, Strauss the co author died about 4 or 5 years ago, he too was very interesting. I first read that book when it came out and enjoyed it but quickly dismissed it when I read the 4th Turning, I thought oh that won't happen. What a change between 1996 when it was written and today. I only used it against the 20 year grand conjunction between Jupiter/Saturn. When I saw that interview the other day, I started to take a second look. I did write an article relating the 4th Turning to the grand conjunctions every 20 years and the circle of life not the linear concept. Energy just keeps coming around. We can even look back at what our parents were going through say when we were younger than 5, looking at their aspects then and ours now we can see how generations stay on the wheel, we unknowingly relive their lives, their emotions. I will try to find the article I wrote about the 4th Turning and re-post it.

whoops, I forgot to say that the grand conjunctions between Jupiter/Saturn set the tone for the 20 year cycle. The last one was 2000 in Taurus. That will be the last earth sign represented for a couple of hundred years or more (I forgot the exact year it comes back and too tired to look it up right now.) Since it was the last one in Taurus it represents all the negatives of Taurus, the greed, the gathering of resources, torture comes under their negatives and war or the warrior. In 2020 we go into Aquarius and there will be all air signs for over 100 years. That is very intellectual for a long time. Air can be cold and distant and separate from others, wanting every one to act, talk, and think alike. But there will be advances in the sciences, and medicine, and technology. Can't imagine what the next 100 years or so will bring. Aquarius, while tending toward the Air's tendency to be cold, air also likes fairness for all. If you get ice cream so should everyone have ice cream, not out of empathy for those who don't have but out of a sense of fairness. After the 4th Turning, the end of the 80 year cycle, comes New Beginnings and Aquarius fits very well with that, so innovation will cover the next 20 years come 2020

Devil's Advocate here: "Air can be cold and distant and separate from others, wanting every one to act, talk, and think alike. But there will be advances in the sciences, and medicine, and technology." SO far.............those advances have been so wrong headed.I can't get excited about more of them!
"air also likes fairness for all" does that mean I will FINALLY have ACCESS TO THE TECHNOLOGY my SS income doesn't cover, so I can fully realize the learning I acquired in college, 15 years ago?
In the medical world; natural cancer cures, ( EARTH/NATURE BASED) are being excluded in favor of BIG PROFITS FOR THE FEW. In their infinite wisdom T-2 ( NATURALLY OCCURRING) is left out of the synthetically manufactured thyroid drug. Artificial lenses replacing NATURAL lenses in the eye are artificially focused to the center of a ball field, who cares if one is the NOT least bit interested in ballgames
I am noticing the cold, airy, technelogical, UNGROUNDED, approach to artwork being applauded & rewarded now.

Psharpart-you have just touched on the shadow side of the age of Aquarius that I see already but don't mention fearing my Saturn thing that makes me sound like a very wet blanket. The clearest image I have had of the ungrounded air quality of our new age is the huge cities in China built with slave labor (Chinese citizens)without any tenants and so the cities are already ghost towns. I know that there is the greed element you mentioned Sally but I see the labor, the untenanted buildings as hints of the new age coming or birthing I guess is the better term.
I know the thing about the nodes was just responding to the Leo thing since Leo was strong in my father's make-up and in my own or as you say in all of the Pluto in Leo types. And then your wonderful thinking on Aquarius N Node led me to thinking of what I interpret as the Age of Aquarius starting to show although as with all newborns the full light isn't yet showing.
Change from 2020 on? Well it won't come too soon for me-I am weary of this gathering, gathering, gathering of the mad squirrels so that some are so wealthy that they must hire entire offices of workers just to count the gold and others who are strong workers and cautious can no longer manage to meet all the needs of their families.
What an exciting conversation going on here-a wonderful Good Morning for me.

The thing about any and all signs is the light and the shadow and it is the choice of each individual to determine which part of the energies they want to exhibit. The light and the shadow is part of each person, the faster we can acknowledge our shadow the faster we move toward the light.
Having a coldness about us can be a good thing, if I am on the titanic for example I would much rather have a cold air sign on my boat than a water sign that was emotional about the situation. This earth energy that I and most of us feel is out of control are incredibly efficent and how it could help the collective if it was used for the good instead of figuring out ways to steal from us. How the energy will be used collectively is different than used individually. As with all energies on earth there will positive results and negative results, but how can we judge what is positive or negative. Some groups will think the techno advances are good and others will thing "who cares"
I have had 6 grandkids born in the last five years and they are ALL loaded with Aquarius and Air energy, for a period of time even if your Sun wasn't in air there were still all these planets in air such as Neptune, Chiron, Jupiter then throw in transiting inner planets and it added up. My own kids however are loaded with earth and fire energy. It's just interesting how it all works out. We just have a new day coming and it's up to our generation to guide, hopefully it makes a difference.
I think of the guidance the previous generation gave to me and it guided my life and my choices (positive and negative) we will be able to do that for this generation.

Important! Read through carefully. ( Talk about hall of mirrors!)
http://liberallamppost.com/2011/08/01/3-big-victories-for-obama-dems-in-debt-ceiling-fight-%E2%80%93-republicans-just-trying-to-save-face/
The current debt ceiling battle is sputtering its last coughs. While Republican leaders are tinkling their victory triangles, a more nuanced view reveals that Obama and Dems are the ones who outplayed the GOP.
Yes, on the surface, Dems didn’t get Republicans to open their tight fists and offer any revenue. But the devil’s in the details – and here they are (from the White House fact sheet):
To the liberal base that has been frenzied by the gossip of proposed entitlement cuts, please do a fact check. This is what Obama fought to protect in this deficit deal:
* In last minute back-and-forths, Obama won exemption for the Medicaid program from automatic spending reductions and worked to make certain that the Medicare cuts hit health care providers, not beneficiaries.
* He protected Social Security from any annual cost-of-living adjustments, effectively taking that program off the chopping block.
* He safeguarded his historic investments in Pell Grants, ensuring that the increase in maximum award to $5,500 (from $819) would remain.
The somewhat harsher reality is that the bi-partisan commission (equally split between Republicans and Democrats) can make cuts to some parts of entitlements. However, look for Dems to hold a hard line to restrict any entitlement cuts to trimming waste and capping payments to physicians. I don’t see the Dems on the commission – and then the Dems in Congress – agreeing to any significant changes to benefits, particularly since the triggers for inaction favor the Democrats.

A Channeling from the Akashic Records of August 2011
The energy this month feels really big, but also very light. There is a sense of emptiness in the energy of the month that might be unnerving for some people. Some of you will feel that the rug gets pulled out from under you this month. As you are facing different challenges in your lives, it might be difficult to find an anchor. It might be difficult to find something to hold onto or to steady yourself with. It is more important than ever this month that you take very good care of your bodies, that you be sure to take one breath at a time and that you choose to stay steady and focused because the energy is going to be so expansive and light that you can lose your focus easily and you can start to feel you are getting lost.......................more

With Pluto opposing the US Venus and Jupiter and Uranus squaring it for the next several months, I just see bickering and a continuation of a highly dysfunctional government who have been bought and sold by Wall Street and the bankers. It's all part of leading this country and the world to a transformation of culture and beliefs, as well as to the economy and the government. They are so off the rails I cannot imagine what is going to ultimately save them, but they are in another world from many of us.

Good Morning All! During the mayhem of the past few months (certainly far from over) I've been curiously pulled in two opposite directions, trying to determine (in some common-sense way) what is being agreed to. Even now, I'm attempting to break down the door (layered over with several plies of paint) that's been constructed, and reconstructed to make sure the wealth have the due owed them. Since childhood, I could not grasp the thinking that some were better than others. It made no sense, still doesn't. I've been bold on this point, sometimes carelessly so. I'm not alone in this. And, not alone in the frustration that this boldness has served no purpose to disenfranchise those who believe they've the right to call the shots for everyone. So, I'm at a crossroads. Maybe, that's the same conundrum present here with Pluto, Uranus, Mars and Venus all battling it out for the upper hand.
Whatever occurs during this volatile time frame, we can know that Uranus is matching wits with Pluto, so the door WILL be splintered, and we'll all walk into a new day. I want a basket of food in my arms. I'll take it directly to those who have been willfully ignored by those who do not share.

I read a recent article and some of you have probably seen it but the rich are buying luxury items in record numbers. AS I read the article it reminded me of the stories from 1921 until the crash in '29 and the rich started jumping from windows on Wall Street. Won't be too long before bathtub gin starts to flow.
From October this year until 1914 it's going to be a challanging ride for the world, in all areas environmental, financial, health, you name it and we are facing it. Before you panic think about what people lived through from the early 1900's to 1999. As a 40 year student of astrology and the mapping of energy in all areas did I know this was coming? Yes, I gave a lecture in 1992 to a physics conference on my study of quantum physics and it's application and repeat with astrology. One confirms the other, and I told them this was coming and what it would be like, what to expect, everyone at one time or another have felt this coming up on our backs and did we ignore the advice economists and psysics not to mention astrologers. Do any of us feel we could have planned better? Well I feel I could have planned better.
Everyone says that to prepare, stock up on food and water, shore up your finances and get as much as you can, if you invest, invest in food and water, gold and silver, personal items like soap, vitimins and immune boosters. Not that all those things aren't important but my suggestion is to shore up faith and a belief that someone up there likes you and wants you to be ok, practice and every hour of the day, sit for a couple of minutes, Place your palms up on your knees in a relaxed position, curl your toes gently toward the earth, place your tongue gently between your teeth, turn your head slightly down toward your dominate side, and take 4 slow deep breaths in and out. Don't think of anything if possible. This exercise done once an hour during your waking hours of course, will literally get rid of fears and shore up a sense of safety, it will absolutely change your life as you let go of blocks to your own happiness, prosperty, health, and success. I promise you it works if done regularly; sports figures, CEO, celebraties (that's us too) have had huge success with this. There is a Reiki basis for this but there are only three people in the world that have been bringing this knowledge forward and I have been fortunate enough for a friend who was cured through this method of a lot of things gave me some personal sessions with one of these people. You will be amazed at the outcome

you got to admit that the transits of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto have led the world down some pretty interesting times. I remember reading several years ago that all who are alive now chose to be here during this transition and here we are mucking around with a government that is more and more showing us they don't have the intelligence of their breathern the apes and monkeys, some of these people if I were an ape or monkey I would not admit these were relatives. "No sir, I never saw these people at all, sad aren't they and so odd." That's my answer for some of our fellow man sitting pretty in the government.

Pat these pics look just wonderful, what a summer of work and fun and what a great job they have done. With people like this, who cares that the S&P downgraded our credit rating. Boy did the politicians come out fast and furious on this one especially the Dems. Oh well, maybe they can find some hard work and fun and come back to work with a different attitude in Sept. Great story on the "Beehive" just fantastic.

That's what I am saying...............11 years ago, the QUEEN BEE was a wanderer who came here to harvest seaweed for 6 weeks. The Grange was a rather decrepit old neglected Grange Bldg. Her mission was to build community & help kids. She cares nothing for material goods, still dresses in army boots and work shirts..........
In 2 weeks, more than 1,000 people ( completely diverse) will descend on the Grange for the Blackfly Ball, to dance on the stage they are building, and watch the fireworks over the Little Bad Falls. Sally, if you look in the Machias Patriots Book I sent you, the picture of the 2 men in a boat, discovering the falls, is the setting for the festivities. AND it is the EXACT SPOT where 40 Patriots armed with pitchforks and blunderbusses, determined to capture the British Captain & his ship on June 11 1975; and they succeeded, thus began the Merchant Marine!

Europe's Sad Farewell to America
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/08/05/1003638/-Europe-Bids-a-Sad-Farewell-as-America-Drifts-Away?via=siderec
America has been a beacon to the rest of the world and perhaps it will be again one day, but a different beacon than it's been in the past. We have been a paternal beacon, sometime the good father and sometimes the bad dad, perhaps we will move in time to a more maternal model, with the good mom and the bad mom in different years. We can't save America but we can save one starfish at a time. Pat's example of the Beehive is an excellent example of what people are doing around the country to save one starfish at a time. These programs will ultimately give way to bigger better programs. While politicians and neo-cons and capitalists give away the country and their legacy through blindness and greed and yes stupidity, there are people right now building a better newer country. It's all changed for America and little by little we change with it, but it doesn't mean that in the end the change will be bad for the country, we have the power in our hands to make it different but better. Germany has done this and so can we. Quite some time ago I wrote an article about the progressed Mars retrograde in this country and how the same aspect felled Germany and England through the years. Those empires went by the wayside, and the US is now following suite, that retrograde Mars in the US chart is a signal that it's time for the US to change and redo, to re-discipline ourselves and work toward rising in a new manner. We have the opportunity if we look forward and not back, if we build something different and not try to bring the past back to us. Like the Lion King song "It's a circle of life, it's the wheel of fortune, it's a leap of faith" and so we are on the brink of jumping into that faith.

If I may, refer to george h w bush's "1,000 points of light", speech..................Washington County Maine is beginning to look like that, tiny beacons shining out as when you look down from a plane in flight.
1. Beehive Design Collective" community building/political activism/Art.
2. Seacoast Mission: Feed the hungry/build community/educate kids/people. ( Jen & I went to their free yoga class, and leaving had to wait for the school bus loading kids for day camp. We ran in to them a little later in the supermarket, where their day camp was teaching them nutrition & marketing of food products.)
3. The very urban Sat Artwalk yesterday, 1st in the area. 2 Galleries, 100 people, Don't know if there were any sales; but a lot of souls were nourished.

I loved reading the conversation this morning, Pat and Sally.
I loved your words and thoughts on the Beehive Collective Pat. I was marveling at some photos you had published of these young people and I hjust loved them.
I have your calendar and my favorite print is the one for August the County Fair-you just captured the fun and energy of the fair something that I just love. I have loved your Tide Pools, your fishing images and especially the March one (I think) of the tractor another love of mine-plowing and clearing and plain care of the fields BUT.....I think that the August carnival is the best as far as communicating the noise, the fun, the games of carnival and the food that we eat there and would never eat in any setting like a sacrament for our deep, deep summer fun,
Sally-thank you for the words on Mars retrograde-I had dropped that thought from my consciousness but I think that you have your finger on something VERY big for us to consider. We will have to figure out how to accept the facts of certain realities and karma but I felt a warm, warm tingle while reading your thoughts-intuition that this is a true turning we are in,not that this is the only thing that is going on but we will not come out of this unchanged. Myself I long for when we are not the Father of the world-hey! how about working at more Cancerian functions by helping others feed their countries and helping them to mature their resources-material and spiritual. I find it hard to accept us as a Scorpio Nation at this point not that I have really since I still think along the lines that Rudhyar laid down for us in the 70;s-Sag rising with our artifacts the cowboy and the horse and his thoughts on the 7th house of how nosey we are with others regarding how things are unfolding in their country and we also just shut outsiders out if they get too nosy about us. That always made me laugh. Perhaps we would be stronger settling into building wealth and taking care of real need as we come to it.

When I awakened today S was in the kitchen working as a director of a private blog he is part of. The blog is about F1 racing out of Europe and F1 racing is his love.
What he shared with me is so troubling. Several of the US based folk werre expressing deep and stunning race hatred for American black folk and of course always the so-called "illegal aliens". People were on the site writing about "armed and concealed" and other points that I have forgotten about as I write.
I thought that I had picked up some of this from a childhood friend and some relatives but I naively discarded the hints because I just couldn't believe that people I love and trust would go there.
I am writing about this because ALL OF A SUDDEN I am thinking that race is going to be a huge part of the next election. As I heard one person say on TV "Obama is exactly 1/2 black and white but it does not matter in the US."
I had forgotten that race was the foundation of the Uranus/Pluto uprisings. From my position as a relatively privileged WHITE GIRL have forgotten over the years what all the uproar was about-I just wanted to be a Hippie and so I am.
I am sickened to have to accept where some of my fellows are coming from-I never thought that HATE was a position that one could assume. I always thought that HATE was a passing mood something like the way I momentarily HATE the rock I just stubbed a toe on.
Whoa on the US!! And I do think that the S&P thing on Friday is the result of plans by people unseen and unidentified.
Love to all of you. Time to enter into deep, deep prayer/meditation ,etc for the safety of our nation and our loved ones and ourselves.

Clymela, prejudices, the unwarranted pointing at the other to make yourself feel superior stuff, has been a recurring theme for you lately. There's something your spirit has to say about this, and it's forming! How awesome is that?
Sally, wrote you about the IMF and my thoughts regarding same. There's something fishy, dead fishy stink, going on here. The IMF has Capricorn overtones, giving speculation to the thought that their manipulations (which have set the tone for the worlds' economic fortunes or lack thereof) may be exposed -- if we're listening or looking in the right places?

Glad you could sign in Karen......
Here is some down home wisdom, from the town that brought you the Beehive......
["If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49.00 today! If you purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG, you would have $33.00. $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers, you would have $0.00 today.
But, if you purchased $1,000 worth of beer, drank all the beer, turned in the aluminum cans for recycling, you would have $214.00. Therefore the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle............It is called the 401-Keg Plan"]
Keep that thought in your head as we go through this day with Mars opposed Pluto, both square Uranus and Saturn.....

up and down goes the stock market as bears and bulls fight it out, like I said "a lot of BBS... Can't figure out if investors are trying to hang on or trying to let go. Some poor guy in Korea killed himself today because of the Markets. It's an intense energy out there this week. I was telling a friend yesterday that the planets don't do anything to a person at all, they just make the environment such that what one has been getting away with is revealed. Whether that's finances, health, relationships, etc.; the energy just says "here's your problem you might want to do something else here." Not everyone listens. So up the down staircase we go with all the BBS...
I read the review of an interesting book that traces financial "meltdowns" for the last 5 to 6 hundred years. The actions of the people and financiers follow the exact same patterns and they can be marked, the worst meltdowns are when they start with a housing bubble breaking, and then the roll down hill from there. We are following the same pattern now, including the financiers, especially them. Now the interesting thing is what is done about the whole thing, never works, and we keep on the same path until the people figure out it isn't working and either rise up to throw the politicians out or begin a revolution of some type until change comes. "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Truer words were never spoken I think. So we watch and wait and live our lives until all of us start to get the messages.
It's fun to watch the things going on in Maine, and Colorado and other states the support and empower life, and the folks who are following that path caring little for what jackasses are doing. I love it.

Things were absolutely splendid in Downeast Maine today. I drove the poster design down to Unity & turned it in....and I had forgotten how beautiful it is down there. The air was that cool blue crisp, bright sunlight, ( no pollutants), it is rolling hills with farms, windmills, and coming back to the coast I was reminded of how rare it is in America, to have mountains meet the sea.
I am now on vacation! Don't HAVE TO do anything!
So I stopped at the Big Chicken Barn and bought some used books.Among them Dreams by Jung, and Star Woman by Lynn Andrews. I loaned out her 1st 3 books to a friend who moved taking them with her,.............& have been trying to remember the author's name. I will gratefully sink into a hot bath...and read before bed!

Well we DID have a flea persistently biting on the local scene, I have heard through the grapevine. Our teabaggers are not totally silenced;
after being frozen out at Town Meeting, they have turned their malcontent, on the more vulnerable.
"Milbridge Concerned Citizens" wrote a stern letter to that poor woman in NJ, who bought the house on Main Street and painted it, all 3 floors & the tower, purple & 2 shades of pink. (It is rather startling especially in the snow........)She has not been back since.........
Her, across the street neighbor, whose house is tastefully painted in more subdued shades of peach and green, reports that she was remorseful at the finished result, ( caused by uneducated color knowledge) and wanted to repaint the house. And symbolic of her personality clash with the next door Chiropracter/neighbor, whose house is trimed with vigorous orange, the 2 houses together do JANGLE the nerves a bit!
The subject of the letter was that she should cut the lawn as the house was right on Main St and poorly represented the Towns image! ( They of course condemned the color choice as well.)
WE HAVE NO ZONING REGULATIONS IN MILBRIDGE.....
She could pasture cows & sheep on her lawn if she chose.
They had not right to send that letter...........
I feel bad for that woman ( who is putting the place up for sale now) but I am really glad it is not an earthquake, tsunami, shooting, or other horrendous event!

"When the populace can’t understand what is going on, they rely on political and financial analysts to make sense of it, and those “experts” unwittingly are adding to the confusion because they don’t know either why things are happening as they are. They can only base their various diagnoses and projections on the past, and history will not be repeating itself—the long era of duality has served its karmic purpose in your world and is coming to an end. What you are seeing is its last gasp, with “good” reaching best and “bad” reaching worst, and as Earth continues her journey into higher planes of vibrations, those extremes will be reconciled by the light, wherein there is balance."
20. "While lightworkers with many lifetimes of experience in vital fields are in positions of influence, most of you are fulfilling your missions to simply BE the light you ARE. Let your life exemplify the peacefulness inherent in trusting your inner voice’s assurance that the Golden Age is on the near horizon, and in the continuum that Earth is fast approaching, you already are joyously living in that love-filled world. What a thrilling time to be on Earth!"
I had a blissful afternoon sitting in the garden, reading, the humming birds zapping and twittering among the moon flower blossoms. The flowers, like a morning glory except pink & white instead of blue........& important difference, the DON"T close at noon, are growing up the trunks of the choke cherry trees.

It was a beautiful peaceful full Moon here tonight. And with Venus conjunct the Sun and oppose the moon it was just a lovely day. This Full Moon gives the world a much needed rest for a few days before Mars and Saturn square and the frustration begins to once again rise.
All of you are so good at looking around at the beauty in your lives and sharing that vision with others, this is certainly the weekend to do that. It's just a "good ole summertime" weekend. I just wanted to tell you how much beauty you bring to this board and give to others and how appreciative I am of your musings, your articles and your gifts. Happy Full Moon Weekend and don't indulge in too much wine, strawberry shortcake, watermelon, fried chicken (I wish, real fried chicken, southern style) and all that goes with those things, but do have a lovely, lovely day this day.
Morgana's puppy should be home by now, all's right with the world.

Sally, I know you get Owen Water's weekly newsletter, & I think I have posted it here in the past. This week it is particularly timely & contains a meditation technique + a history of mysticism/science......
meditation..............
http://www.infinitebeing.com/0405/ibmeditation.htm
The affirmation “I am Infinite Being” is the most powerful affirmation possible within the English language.
["The phrase “I am Infinite Being” is an affirmation of your oneness with the ultimate potential, the source of all life, the consciousness from which all life sprang. You are one with that universal consciousness. Everything in manifestation is one with that universal consciousness. Now is the time to consciously affirm your ultimate potential. It may take courage to begin with, but the results are more than worth the effort."]
history....................
["Albert Einstein was another deeply mystical figure, one who had the vision to see that space and time are compressible. His realization that “solid” matter was really just energy, created a global paradigm shift.
Albert Einstein
1879–1955
Einstein said that, “The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical. It is the power of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead.”]
Perhaps the most mystical statement of all came from Michael Faraday who, referring to life in general, said:
“All this is but a dream.”
As impossible and fantastical as Mathew's Message seems, ( posted above)..............
I believe in it, because it is touching visions, dreams, thoughts I have had over the course of my life, and pulling them together like filling in pieces of a jigsaw puzzle!
“You see things; and you say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were;
and I say, ‘Why not?’”- George Bernard Shaw,

Einstein had two theory's of relativity, the "general" and the "specific" theory. The general theory wasn't actually studied until the late 50's because it took them that long to figure out that they needed more than physicists to understand it. They needed ministers, those who practice metaphysical dicipline, astrologers, psychics, etc, because the impact on his "specific" theory of relativity was on life on the planets. It really isn't a mystical study, we call it that because of the overwhelming study of the universe and what it has to do with "life" on earth and other spheres. We really do it a disservice to call it "mystical" because it cuts a lot of people out of the study. It's really a scientific discipline. It wasn't studied for decades because it did seem too mystical and was called that, so it hasn't been taken seriously until the 90's and in fact it still isn't taken too seriously on a meaningful basis, and people simply don't grasp their ability to move matter and to use cosmic energy to their own benefit. Physics is proving "it is all but a dream." I have said for years that we are all standing alone on our own conveyor belt as it moves along and shows us different pictures of what we want to step into.A lot of what we step into is based on what our parents and ancestors stepped into and we followed that dream or nightmare which ever we chose, usually a mixture of both.
That's why our belief systems are so important, to what do we believe and attach ourselves. We have dreams, wonderful dreams but do we believe our dreams can or ever will come true? Do we, as a people or individuals believe in the universe and its wealth of resources or do we believe we can never or will never tap into that wealth of resources, that we can only have certain things. If we believe we are and will be rich and we have that, how do we believe we must maintain it? Through generosity or through greed and taking from others. I have very wealthy friends who are extremely generous, no grasping or greed involved and their prosperity keeps growing. Then I look at those who do grasp and steal and their prosperity keeps growing too, but at what cost to them?
The science of this is all very complicated and simple at the same time and it's hard to get our minds around it all, but strides are being made by scientists and monks and metaphysicians, and astrologers as we stive to understand the map laid out for us. I started studying this in the 60's and was considered kind of a benevolent nut, loved but very different and had hardly anyone to talk to about the physics of all of this, now I see it rapidly moving into mainstream and it's excitng to see. I think some of the ancients had this information but it was stolen from them through wars and the conquering spirit introduced into themselves into the world, taking cultures and information with them, but it is hidden around the world, under sand, buried in long forgotten and buried cultures, centuries ago, drawn on cave walls. Oh the information is indeed there and the next few generations, including ours will uncover it I think.

BERKELEY — Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, are challenging long-held beliefs that human beings are wired to be selfish. In a wide range of studies, social scientists are amassing a growing body of evidence to show we are evolving to become more compassionate and collaborative in our quest to survive and thrive.
In contrast to "every man for himself" interpretations of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, Dacher Keltner, a UC Berkeley psychologist and author of "Born to be Good: The Science of a Meaningful Life," and his fellow social scientists are building the case that humans are successful as a species precisely because of our nurturing, altruistic and compassionate traits.
They call it "survival of the kindest."

I agree, Psharp. Before the hierarchical structures of Society (Capricorn) we relied on familes, clans, and tribes (Cancer) for our daily needs. And we needed each other-to defend ourselves, to find food for each other, to build homes to live in. That required sharing and social networks.
Why is being alone such a major fear? It's because once being alone meant being without supports of any kind-food, protection, even shelter. That's why banishment was such a dreaded punishment.
The "selfish gene" theory was based on a notion of original sin and the unmediated demands of childhood. But what worked for a two-year old doesn't work in a twenty-year old who must negotiate the world for his/her needs.

"Why is being alone such a major fear? It's because once being alone meant being without supports of any kind-food, protection, even shelter. That's why banishment was such a dreaded punishment." Very profound observation Carol. I don't and have never understood the problem with hemp I still don't. The "war on drugs" what a joke. Drugs have been around for centuries and a lot more than today. I don't think it's a great idea staying stoned all the time, I think a person would miss a lot however what's the difference between stoned and drunk, except drunks are responsible for more deaths. Someone, I think, who started this "war on drugs" (GHWB) must have made a ton of money off this, money off the drugs and money off the prisons, otherwise there was not a reason in my mind. They did not do it for the "greater good of all" the GOP doesn't believe in the "greater good of all," the dems might not either.

Sally, I worked through a lot of issues to get to where I am now. As an ACA, I had to deal with alcohol and some addiction in the family, and one tends to get judgemental at times, blaming the person for what I now know is a disease. Add church disapproval, and it was even worse. But the war on drugs doesn't help with these issues at all-I tried pot just once, and it was pleasant to say the least. My college dorm was peaceful when people smoked.
The first eye-opener was when I lost a brother to alcohol. I couldn't help but notice that the pot smokers didn't die from liver problems. If pot were legal, perhaps my brother would still be with us today.
Another was when I was living in low-income housing and was watching a special on how Britain solved its hard drug problem by having secure dispensaries where addicts could get what they needed under medical supervision. This practice ended shooting galleries and crack houses and the petty and not so petty crime surrounding drugs. It made sense to me. Why snatch purses for drug money when you could simply register at the clinic? And with medical supervision one could pass out clean needles, give AIDS prevention tips, and get a clean bed for rehab.
The internet has helped duly with this as well. Finding out the real history of why pot was illegal in the first place was an eye-opener to say the least.

I am ACA too, Carol, Neptune in the 4th natally.
And a great deal of energy & money have been spent, dealing with, getting free of that.
On the other side of the coin, I had a dear friend who was addicted to pot........... and diabetic as well. Tragically it clouded his judgment regarding dietary balance with his insulin, and he died too young, 16 years ago, of kidney failure.
Year before last in the Catskills I encountered a woman who had a small gallery. We were instant friends & she gave me a wonderful, healing foot massage, as well as educated me on the pragmatic uses of hemp. I gave her my current calendar, & looked forward to seeing her last year...but she had mysteriously vanished. Through the pamphlet she had given me I researched the source of hemp products resolving to use hempcloth, rather than canvas for my paintings. Except for China, the sources for it were few and very expensive. I will revisit that idea, maybe it has changed.
Here is an an update on this inspiring group of young people who have signs on their properties: Drug and alcohol free zone........
The Blackfly Ball will be punch and ice tea beverages only!

Carol (Aquarius Moon) thank you so much for the link to your marijuana essay. I so agree with you.
When I was younger I smoked pot because it was what "sweet" rebels/warriors did. Such a gentle herb- kind and relaxing. Now I use it for arthritis and other pains that come with the body breaking down some what.
I notice how much alcohol is pushed especially on the younger generation and I shake my head. Alcohol is so dangerous on so many levels and that fact never changes. Pot is gentle and yes it can give the munchies but I have found that 1) if a particular batch has that characteristic I stop using it AND 2)if i get up and walk and energize myself I am fine. Myself I consider all the propaganda regarding pot to go into the category of the false information we are spoon fed. I mean really look at all the gorgeous, sexy ads for alcohol-WOW! really? I will be rich and beautiful and full of fun if I have this cocktail? HMMM!!!! And then for the gentle herb I am warned that if I use it I will drop all pretense of wanting to be generous and loving and sharing and will DIE YOUNG!!HMMM!!! AGAIN HMMM!!!
Thank you so much for standing up for the gentle herb.
Good morning psharp and Sally and Morgana and Karen-Karen still can't get in. I love you all so much dear ones

I wasn't blaming pot for the early demise of my friend,I think it should be legalized. as Sally says above, the planets make their aspects, we CHOOSE how we will process them.
Some of his choices weren't always the wisest.
I smoked it back then too, but with N Neptune opposed Jupiter, I was just naturally that way, without drugs..........My stress buster/escape was to go to a natural spot be alone & commune with nature..............or pick up a paintbrush.

My FB friend was tracking this and says the sites are bring eliminated one by one..............
"Above Top Secret.com. it was on about ten sites according to Google but as I was searching, it was being removed, which was a bit surreal. This is the only paragraph I got before this was removed. I suspect it is not there any more. I just had a long talk with another FB person who couldn't even get this one. Clearly it is being removed."
my find..........
[The AFA has undertaken a nationwide campaign—advertising in USA Today and Washington Post—urging government officials to investigate Movie Gallery. FN19. Many local authorities—like the U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Texas—are allegedly dragging their feet. FN20. With Gov. Perry owning stock in Movie Gallery, his financial interests contravene the success of any such investigation.
Titles that Gov. Perry helps bring to Texas’ shelves include Teens with Tits Vol. 1, Teen Power Vol. 4, and Teens Never Say No. FN21. Such titles serve as political ammunition to his opponents—independents Kinky Friedman and Carol Keeton Strayhorn. Ironically, the Jewish Friedman continually caters to religious conservatives by advocating prayer in school, and Strayhorn has recently criticized the Governor over sexual abuse in Texas’ foster-care program. FN22. Rick Perry claims to be “proud of his extensive record as a pro-life, pro-family conservative,” and revelations about his pornography investments jeopardize crucial votes for this fall’s election. FN23. Rick Perry has a sizable lead over his opponents—polling at 38% to Friedman’s 20, Strayhorn’s 19, and Democrat Christopher Bell’s 14 in the most recent poll. FN24.]

Just observed.......a jet moving ( fast) SE to NW viewed from my house. I am accustomed to seeing a long chemtrail following and remaining in the sky behind planes usually. Sat. nite the to Europe route, W to E has multiples of them, between 7 & 8:30 pm.
This plane had a short exhaust trail ( 10 - 15 plane lengths behind it) which MOVED ALONG WITH IT, & didn't linger................
MATHEW said: the perpetrators of chem trails had been outed and that initiative was no longer supported. COULDd this be the evidence? mere EXHAUST? A NORMAL FUNCTION OF THE JET ENGINE?
I will watch for it in the future, since I am in a prime location to observe............

Great posts all! And sweet maryjane? What's the problem! Oh, I know, CONTROL! That's it. Why can't I laugh 'til tears are streaming down my face? (Big smile, Clymela!)What you say? Get screaming drunk instead, take out your gun and shoot your neighbor.
Sorry for the sarcasm, but the whole, hilarious war on drugs has wasted billions of tax dollars and (intentionally?) created far more serious wars of an entirely different kind. (Thanks Carol!)
Well I've had some time for reflection during this malestrom of planetary energies vying for attention. One thing I'm (maybe temporarily experiencing) is the faux outrage from both sides of the political spectrum. I too am giving far too much energy to innuendo and speculation.
I recently read an interview with Steward Brand in the latest Sun magazine. Brand was part and parcel of the Whole Earth Catalog. He now calls himself an envionmental heretic for suggesting, among other things, that nuclear energy is necessary until we can invent other forms of less-harmless energy. But, what struck me about reading his piece (and Sally's comments above) is that I have my sacred opinions often without any verification/science to back them up. It was one of those, boy I feel sheepish kind of moments.
The above whack up side the head just got me to thinking about all the suppositions (again, great post, Sally!) I make. Maybe, I'm feeling the precursor to the giant whack!? That is, in order for humanity to fitfully survive, we'll have to receive a loud clear message that our finger-pointing, raging angst is just not working out well.

["That's why our belief systems are so important, to what do we believe and attach ourselves. Through generosity or through greed and taking from others."] Sally said above................

You all recall I was one of the most raging, angst ridden.on this board a few years ago..........I have been listening & reading, and meditating, & trying very hard to live in the present..........all that that money, spent on the war on drugs......HAS happened.....it is history, is Perry going to run for president? or Bachmann? it is FUTURE; HASN"T happened YET.
RIGHT NOW.......I haven't won the lottery. I still owe student loans & back property taxes, but my computer is working, I have a cup of coffee on the desk, the sun is shining brilliantly......................and I know:
The silent, mirrorlike receptiveness of a star-filled night with a full moon is reflected in the misty lake below. The face in the sky is deep in meditation, a goddess of the night who brings depth, peace and understanding.
{Now is a very precious time. It will be easy for you to rest inside, to plumb the depths of your own inner silence to the point where it meets the silence of the universe. There's NOTHINGTO DO, NOWHERE TO GO, and the quality of your inner silence permeates everything you do.
It might make some people uncomfortable, accustomed as they are to all the noise and activity of the world. Never mind; seek out those who can resonate with your silence - or enjoy your aloneness. Now is the time to come home to yourself. The understanding and insights that come to you in these moments will be manifested later on, in a more outgoing phase of your life.} from Osho Tarot cards.........Silence
Curiously earlier I felt a little dizzy, headachy, so I got a Blood Pressure reading at the local clinic...................I forgot to order my pills on Fri. so had to wait until Mon. to fill the prescription. ( I had one for Sat.)
It was NORMAL! 112 over 64, hasn't been that low in years.....................I called my Dr. to make sure there wasn't some medical reason to be worried.....and said.........."AM I dead should I lie down now?" She laughed merrily, was very pleased...............I guess I have shifted.....
The post I made above about Perry & Porn..was done without any emotional attachment, just reporting what I heard...........

Great comments all. I do kind of put drugs into the "gimmie the ole time religion" it can transport people to other diminsions or trap you into a hell hole of life. Alcohol doesn't seem to transport anywhere nor to cigs (my addiction, no large federal war on them, one can make more money on drugs than alcohol or cigs.

How wonderful it is to come over to this place after a few day away! What wonderful people and wonderful thoughts and conversations.
I made a mistake when i said that Karen couldn't get in- I just was the original message in my FB history and it is Jeanne Murray Mobley who cannot get in. she sends her regards to all especially to you, Sally.
I have noticed of late that rather than discuss what OUR ISSUES ARE most of the radio and print words are directed towards keeping us afraid of each other and NOT talking about what we need to change. I am sick of the faux war between Dems and Repubs although there are real problems there. I also believe that the true Tea Party folk have been ripped off and faker butts have taken over. Sometimes I wonder if the idea is not to split the Republican party so that there is no real fight this time. And then I worry about the progressives in the Democratic party splitting so that there is no real support for Obama.
Again I am not much in for writing to day but want you all to know how much your words and thoughts mean to me.

Yesterday we reached the beginning of the 5th night. The staircase is going to get a little rocky! Hang on to your hat and your higher self!
["The 5th Night is a time of DESTRUCTION and BACKLASH. This is the darkest period of each cycle. In human terms, this is when an individual reaches the stage of puberty - an awkward and some might say 'dangerous' time of growth and rebellion against the previous cycles of one's life. The caterpillar cracks open the chrysalis and becomes a butterfly. This is the crisis stage. A serious moment for water is when it boils."]
["Throughout August, transiting Mars will complete an explosive Grand Cardinal Cross in squares and opposition to Pluto, Uranus and Saturn. This is an astrological mirror particularly for the 5th Night, although it corresponds to the 5th Day as well - the massive breakthrough of Light of the 5th Day is a reflection of the powerhouse transformative energies of the CARDINAL CROSS, the astrological signature of the 2011-2013 portal.
As for the Cardinal Cross, like the Universal consciousness of the 9th Wave, it is not fully grasped by the human mind yet. According to esoteric tradition, "the Cardinal Cross will govern the next solar system. In this system it governs the path of initiation which is trodden by the flower of (humanity)." - Alice Bailey, Esoteric Astrology p. 279. The Cardinal Cross is the domain of the Ascended Masters who are evolving on their own paths while they assist humanity to follow in their footsteps. We are now reaching, reaching, reaching for this crucible of awareness. We are striving to step onto the Cardinal Cross of mastership, which by its very nature is defined by the qualities of Oneness, Unity and Co-Creation with the Divine."]

This is such a fine, fine place to gather. On so many occasions, I've wished that you could all gather here on the mountain and chow down on fresh veges while sharing a puff (your choice) and sipping a little fine (fill in the blank) and spiraling up and out in energetic conversation that takes each of us deeper into cosmic consciousness. Ah!
Throughout the years, Sally has written repeatedly about allowing fear to manifest (Yes, Clymela that's exactly what's being shoved down our throats). That fear freezes up the imagination, and blocks our ability to access the creativity we were born to manifest.
Since, I'm rather rebellious -- along with each of you -- I'll just look at that fear, and ask it "what in the heck do YOU want now?"

Add the facts that 1) Mars is debilitated in Cancer and prone to over-the-top emotional reactions and 2) we’re at the tail-end of the final wave of a highly challenging Cardinal Grand Cross configuration we’ve been dealing with all summer – we all have Cardinal Grand Cross fatigue - and this aspect coming at the end of it can feel like more than we can bear. The BLACKFLY BALL WAS SPECTACULAR!
The Little Bad Falls is a natural wonder to begin with, separating from the Machias River to tumble over the rocks, leaving a small island inthe center. At one time the Bangor Hydro Power Plant was located on that island, producing HYDRO POWER to the area, then for unknown reasons, that was defunct, leaving a stone wall up out of the river that is now a park. There is a footbridge across the south fork of the falls, leading to the little park on the south bank of the river as it flows towards the bay, and the Machias Valley Grange Hall owned by the Beehive Design Collective is on that side. Former balls have been confined to the Grange Hall...this time it spilled out into both parks with 2 dance floors & stages, music provided by turns by the 32 bands who performed there, lights strung throughout, the lit church steeple of the Congo Church in town a background, all diffused by the gentle fog, that hung low.
It was my guides, who prompted me to dress as Pallas Athena, with a headdress with an owl painted on it, Not just any owl but one of the species Athene! Interestingly I drew the older Indigo Children ( Pluto in Scorpio ages 20 - 26) to me like a magnet! A young man from MD., a traveler, exploring the world, came over to me & he KNEW EXACTLY who I was. Another cautioned me not to start any wars............I stated firmly that I was about the business of ending them all, as well as promoting "ONENESS". He approved.
Because of the weather I had worn a trench style raincoat over my grecian dress, so I claimed 2 costumes to honor my Gemini rising, Pallas & CIA agent, that got a lot of laughs.
And I am already planning next years costume around the pair of peach colored, high top, Convers sneakers I have, to deal with the gravel paths & rocky grass, so I can go father faster!
The takeaway? Yes WE ARE the LEADERS, my mature friends, the young are listening!

Am thrilled to hear about the blackball and the fun it generated. What a great program and like all costume parties folks get a chance to dress up in their dreams or secret selves.
We have a lot of costume parties throughout the world. Movies, reality shows that are not reality, governments all dressed up in their secret selves. Unlike the Blackball, a lot of them are not that fun for the the rest of us, open and real costume parties are the only thing I can think of that actually generates good spirits and fun.
I was thinking about Pluto and Uranus in aspect and squaring and opposing the US Venus and Jupiter and our costume balls throughout the world. I thought about what damage it seems to be spreading across this world and then I thought about the opportunities we have been given to learn. We are learning about money, how the governments actually work, learning about the dreams and illusions this country alone have been built upon. We are learning who and what is behind the masks presented to us. None as colorful as Athena or with the meaningful message that Athena brings.
None the less all the generations throughout the world are being given the opportunity to learn and grow. We can focus on what seems like the destruction of Pluto or we can focus our attention on the learning so we can better pass the information and light onto the generations behind us giving the opportunity to help them understand the past, what was real and what wasn't and hopefully some attention on learning from history in order to go forward, as past generations tried to give to us.
As I have said before, my experience with Pluto is the destruction of what isn't needed to go forward in life and then the putting something better in its place, something more real and more solid. We are not done as yet but we are getting there.

"Activists routinely become frustrated when truths about lies, victimization and oppression don’t set people free to take action. But having worked with abused people for more than 25 years, it doesn’t surprise me to see that when we as individuals or a society eat crap for too long, we become psychologically too weak to take action. There are a great many Americans who have been so worn down by decades of personal and political defeats, financial struggles, social isolation and daily interaction with impersonal and inhuman institutions that they no longer have the energy for political actions."

Revelations coming fast & furious..............SHe has just understood that the reason she has worked so hard & spent her own money these last 3 years running the afterschool program.................is BECAUSE THEY, VOTE against Government programs consistantly.
Meanwhile........the kids & their friends, ..........( Indigo) connected to me by facebook, Generation Jump, complain, that the National Guard, came into town, rescued a few people from rooftops, did a photo op & left, without even bringing the desperately needed WATER to drink.
Remembering the stories of a friend's survival of Hurricane Hugo in Charleston SC, in 1989, & how she, ( progressive & clued in to what was coming ) was nervous due to the Nat. Guard's presence for A WEEK, with their tankers full of WATER,& FOOD SUPPLIES, ......................
I called Senator Gillibrand's office to ask WHY this isn't being done now.
My family has collected all their food, dropped it where it could be distributed, and gone to their apartment in Manhatten, where the kids will probably start their school year. Windham, Ashland, Jewet School, sitting next to the Batavia Creek is certainly not able to open next Mon. as scheduled.
I am pondering the concept of fate, & destiny.......our soul's purpose...........
10 years & 5 months ago, my Daughter, unhappy with PS 3's approach to education, lacking in discipline, & organization......put the 2 older kids in the car drove to Windham where they had just purchased a weekend ski house, enrolled them in W A J, & they have lived there ever since, younger Brother joining them 9 years ago.
Thus they missed the destruction of their neighborhood, 1 mile north of the WTT,on 9/11.
It seems that fate has caught up with them & their present neighborhood has been destroyed!
