by Sally Cheyne McDonald
100 years ago Teddy Roosevelt (10-17-1858, New York, NY N/T) tried to pass health care for all people, after his defeat in that effort politicians and presidents went on and on and on in the hope of making health care not a privilege but a right. Lyndon Johnson came close with his Medicare/Medicaid bill in the 60’s coupled with a long overdue Civil Rights Bill. FDR’s Social Security Bill was not perfect when passed, neither was Lyndon Johnson’s Bill but over the years both have been greatly improved and so will this bill. It isn’t flawless but it’s a beginning and like all the other industrialized countries we will continue to improve and add to the bill.
There will be struggles with this bill but will not be dropped if this country can stand firm against a mean spirited GOP who seem to believe only the elite deserve to have good health, only the elite deserve to live. The chart of this bill’s passing has a very interesting aspect and that is Sun oppose Saturn. Saturn in opposition to the Sun is a new beginning not the normal ending that an opposition normally signals. The Moon at 15 Gemini also trines the US Saturn, another signal of solid gain for the people. Transiting Neptune and Chiron conjunct the US Moon, and Teddy Roosevelt’s progressed Chiron conjuncts the US Sun with transiting Uranus conjunct his Progressed Sun. I mention Roosevelt’s chart because he represents the beginning of this process.
Transiting Neptune and Chiron also conjuncts Obama South Node, this was something Karmic for him that needed to be done, no matter how many back room deals there were, as represented by his own Gemini Moon along with tonight’s Gemini Moon close to a conjunct to his Sun making it a new Moon energy for him. However tonight’s Moon is also close to the US Gemini Mars so there will be people very angry this week and we will hear nothing but the flaws.
The tea-baggers will still be around and take up the cudgel of immigration, as well as some nasty epitaphs thrown at the government, I expect a pretty nasty fighting spring and summer, but the ones who are the worst will be the first in line to get what they can in this new health care bill, just as the worst were screaming “don’t touch my Medicare.”
The final thing to note, is transiting Neptune and Chiron conjunct the US progressed Jupiter, It will ultimately turn out to be more than we ever imagined, a great boon to the US people because it all conjuncts the US Moon
Comments (101)
And.............the Neptune/Chiron/ conjunction on the "people's moon" is also conjunct the gone,
(but very much not forgotten) Ted Kennedy's N mars.
HC his issue of focus, and who also, REALLY boosted Obama, with his endorsement. O must be so pleased this AM!
There is a Thank You rally for our (sometime bluedog) Rep Mike Michaud, for his yes vote, today in Bangor! I called him AGAIN, yesterday afternoon!

Isn't it odd that the very people this bill will help are those who have been fighting to rabidly against it. I noticed too during yesterday's debate, that many of the republicans speak in the same kind of backward way. What they rally against is something they've been doing for years. The only consistency is the will to maintain power and privilege at any cost.
So, yes Sally, i suspect that this week will continue to witness increased vitriole. I was actually surprised that no one got shot yesterday. That's how much hatred clouded the air above the capital.
So good to see this post, Sally!
And qop, i just keep cheering you on, but of course, i'm guessing you know that.

Thank you, I was hoping there would be a post about the health care reform bill today.
Rep.Alan Grayson, the outspoken Democrat from Florida, has submitted a bill called, "Medicare You Can Buy Into Act" HR 4789. It is only 4 pages long--you can look it up on Thomas. I had also to enter this year's date to find it.
So far there are 80 co-sponsors in the House. I believe Grayson's bill would be a great addition and bolster to the Health Care Reform just passed.

Oh Sally!! so glad to see you back here and at this time when so much meanness and hatefulness is flowing. We have missed you and love to read your calm and wise words.
OMG!! just heard Sarah Palin talking about how President Obama is in over his head with HCR!! OMG!! that is simply outrageous and a perfect example of what is so tiring these days. Wearying really! I cannot believe that anyone any where could be taking this strange woman seriously. She believes that she can seriously judge Obama? By what ruler would she take the measure of this man?

Hey all, Sally and I were having a brief email discussion today and I'd like to share it with you. Please send focused energy to Sally for healing of the neuropothy in her hands (her hands aren't working well). Here's our exchange and here's the chart we are discussing.
http://morganaseawalker.com/HCRUSA.jpg
From: Morgana
To: Sally Cheyne McDonald
Subject: HCR signing and US chart
Check it out I attached the chart I ran.
Tomorrows signing, has Neptune conj. US Moon at 5 Cancer opposing Pluto , the Moon conjunct the US Jupiter, Venus conj. the US Chiron, the Sun and Saturn opposition separating. I'd say astrologers will be looking at this chart a hundred years from now seeing what set off the societal changes.
One of my Repub born again friends (yes I have those too) likes that the bill was passed. The GOP is in trouble in their own backyard.
From: Sally A. McDonald
To: Morgana
The Asc tomorrow is also conj. the US Venus/Jupiter midpoint that’s very positive as was the Sun/Saturn opposition. The Moon Pluto opposition and right on Jupiter indicates a dramatic shift in status quo as Jupiter rules the 1st House of the US chart and Pluto is still in the First House of Change. The midpoint of Pluto and Asc. in the US Chart is opposing US Jupiter (a transformation and change for the better).
End of email.
So what do you guys think?

I for one am very glad that this bill passed. No, it's not perfect, but it can be improved over time. Eventually, we will add a public option and go for the jugular veins of the greedy, bloated insurance companies. This was a much deserved warning shot over their heads.
What's most important is that a critical barrier has been breached. Universal health care is finally arriving in the US, and there's not a damn thing the do-nothing, know-nothing, stand-for-nothing regressives in the Tea Party GOP can do about it. There honestly isn't much that's more disturbing than watching a bunch of people screaming and yelling up a storm against their own better interests. Wake up and grow up already, people!

This is from Sally -
You know I love omens of things to come and I look for them everywhere. This has certainly been a crazy March. Obscene name calling from the tea baggers, insane reasons from the GOP as to why the health care bill shouldn’t pass, won’t pass, is dangerous to pass. It seems that the only people who should have health care are the self proclaimed elite. There was a GOP Senator that stood up and said “people can have health care, the only reason they don’t have it (and he laughed) is they lost their jobs.” That was cause for humor with the GOP. Through all that mess this month it turned “crazy” on the GOP and the health care bill passed. I go back to an article where I said with transiting Pluto opposing the US Venus (which ruled the 6th house of health) the worm might turn and we go from elevating the elite to elevating the people. We might be on the brink of that.
I do feel I found my omen for what’s to come in the years ahead, the changes on the brink, the “too big to fail” corporations become “too big to win.”
Probably many of you don’t follow the basketball tournament known as “March Madness” but I’m from Kansas (the school that was the beginning of basketball) and most of my family went to KU, which was the number one basketball team in the US going into this tournament. There were some interesting and rather odd things happening before the tournament. Many of the big schools which have always participated and won in March Madness didn’t even get in, including a school who has been there for 50 years, their team wasn’t good enough to make it, nor were teams from school that have been there for 20 or 30 years.
The first omen and the one that made me sit up and start watching was “Old Dominion” (take note of the name) beat Notre Dame, a small school, another small school “St Mary’s” beat Villanova (a great team and in the top 4) and Northern Iowa known for their bowling and that’s all, beat the biggest of them all the most dominating Basketball Team in the country, KU, the team that was “too big to fail.” The day after the game Congress passed the Health Care Bill, ripping a win from the GOP who have thought of themselves as too big to fail.
That was an omen I will keep in my mind as these next few years go on and the Democrats tackle finance reform, insurance reform and immigration, but my bet based on Astrology and Omens, no matter how these things turn out the final outcome will be in favor of the little guy, the people.

I'm going to try to post again for the first time in a long while. I gave up trying because I have so far been unable to get through the typekey authentication process. I had submitted a number of posts in the past and they never showed up but I'll try again.
First of all, my best wishes to you Sally in your healing process. Your insight here has always been very valuable and I do hope that you will be able to continue to share it in the difficult years ahead.
Second, I noticed that Dharmaruci over in the UK has also noticed the connection with T.Roosevelt:
http://astrotabletalk.blogspot.com/
I do wish the bill could have been more, but it is a start, and perhaps it may propel Obama forward more toward the change we all were hoping for. That may be a naive expectation considering the general ignorance of the people. I honestly think that many in the tea party movement identify with Republican politics for the similar reasons that they identify with a sports team. That's their team and they will blindly buy the talking points of the Right and mobilize against their own best interests.
On the other hand I do worry that perhaps too much political capital has been expended for so little. Unfortunately there are more important issues than health care. We're still spending something like 1.2 billion dollars every other day on wars that are not only unnecessary but are only likely to bring the country down the longer we stay. That was a gutsy speech Obama made in accepting the Nobel but, unfortunately, he did not make the case that the war in Afghanistan is a just war. Empires have crumbled many times in the past as a result of similar military overextensions. On top of that our whole economic system is based on the false assumption of unlimited resources. The sad truth is that Capitalism is not a sustainable system. It must inevitably collapse and that collapse might come in these difficult grand cross years to come. But, hey, that's 'our team' and therefore its un-American to even question it.
As for health care, on a final note, I want to share my own experience today. I've been battling my third case of the flu this year and its been a really bad one. My throat starting cracking during my fourth hour of lecturing on Friday and by that night I was burning up with a high fever. I couldn't even speak all weekend and thus this morning I decided I had to drive the hour down to the Kaiser clinic to get antibiotics. I usually try to avoid antibiotics but I've got a very important paper to write this week for a conference in April, and I've been counting on having this spring break week to get it done. So I made the drive down only to find out that they could not accomodate me. I guess you have to make an appointment to be sick. They said I could wait two hours and maybe they would get to me. I tried waiting but after two hours I still couldn't get a doctor to see me for ten minutes and give me a prescription for antibiotics. Still feverish I just gave up. Unfortunately the clinic at the University where I teach was closed because the whole campus is shut down for spring break due to the state budget crisis. I ended up going to a naturapath and bought some oregeno oil, and Chinese herbs and vitamin C. I'm still feverish and can't swallow very well and I'm just hoping the fever will break so I can focus the rest of the week. So that's what I get for my health care dollars taken out of my paycheck. So you might guess I'm not celebrating the health care victory too wildly tonight. I guess the main reason I'm glad the bill passed is that otherwise Obama's Presidency might have been crippled and there wouldn't be what little hope we might have some reason to have.

Well Timothy J............The bill JUST passed, hasn't been voted on by the Senate or signed by the President ...................
Therefore the OLD HC management style is still in effect! I had a similar experience 14 years ago!
Did the naturapath also tell you to increase fluid intake, tea honey & lemon juice? eat grapefruit, kiwi & pineapple. Hold a turquoise, aquamarine or blue agate crystal, in your hand.......and SING!
( if you can with out hurting)
Yesterday, I sang along with the Pirates of Penzance at the top of my voice/throat/diaphram in action while speeding along the highway in my car. Sunday in church ( yes I have joined the church choir, gang) I could barely croak a note.....because I had encountered some heavy dust balls while spring cleaning.
Singing, is really enhancing my ability to communicate! Political rants are working much better now than they used to.............

"The memories linger even now. There's joy in Tutu's voice as he recalls a song he sang as a child: "If God be for us, who can be against us?" the verse asked.
( also a line in Handal's Messiah, written when he was at an allpoint low in his life)
"It was a fantastic thing to have much, much later," Tutu says — "to remember, 'Yes, if God be for us in our struggle against injustice and oppression, who can be against us?' "

Hey!!joannaoregon!! I was just plain worried about you and so glad to see you here again.
I FIND THE CARDINAL GRAND CROSS in the signing of the HCR extremely worrying. I did a chart for the signing as if it were a birth and if it was a birth I would be worried about the child's survival with such big guns out for "it'. The Cardinal Cross that we are all thinking and talking about is right there in the chart: the Moon in Cancer oppose Pluto in Capricorn is less than 3 degrees from the ASC/DSC axis. I am thinking that "we, the people" will be feeling like we have married a monster although I think it also recognizes the facts of life on the ground here in the US-Oh!! no single payer what would happen to the poor insurance businesses?? Well this monster is what we get rather than accept the good sense of socialism as it is practiced in the Northern countries.(here I think of Palin talking about sneaking over to Canada to get medical care that they could not afford in Alaska. Real tough independents there!!
I am wanting to hear from everyone regarding this chart-we can share and then watch as history unfolds right here in our time.

Yea, verily, Clymela... I noted that square as well. Long ago, I decided that grand squares were vastly energizing & could turn out for the very best and that grand trines may not... at least from the pov of the tiny human who's not aware of much of anything on Gaia's ground floor. Anyway, what will be will be, I suppose... I have that grand square forming in my own chart. Can't do anything about it except "go with the flow". ;O)

* Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
Today, the President signed HCR into law, with these words:
“Today, after almost a century of trying … today, after over a year of debate … today, after all the votes have been tallied, health insurance reform becomes law in the US of America. In a few moments when I sign this bill, all of the overheated rhetoric of reform will finally confront the reality of reform.”
Obama has never wavered in his intent to tackle healthcare. The pundits have accused him of putting crisis on the back burner to push forward and he’s taken a lot of hits to remain so tenacious. Through it all he remained calm, reasonable and, some said, fixated. He gave the Congress a lot of latitude to put together legislation, some said too much. He listened to minority party suggestions, some say too many. He stepped in to the fight a couple of months ago with demands of his own, some said too late. He floated like a butterfly in plain sight, allowing what was harsh and hateful to expose itself to public scrutiny, what was hopeful and necessary to reveal itself … and late on Sun night, the GOP lost what it was sure it could defeat because of a lot of very determined bees. As a blogger over at Huffy puts it, “Anything that makes John Boehner scream like the melting Wicked Witch is something I know instinctively must be a good thing.” Buzzzzzzzzz. ... http://polwaves.planetwaves.net/

Joanna! Alright! Hope you're well. YOu sound so, given your feisty posts!
Timothy, hope you've won the battle with that nasty flu. I had it twice last year. Nasty visitors. Delivery of healthcare has always been subject to various factors. (One is the egocentric nature of many physicians.)The advent of clinics (voiding the necessity of seeing your personal doctor) centered around profit; seeing as many people as possible, and giving limited "care."
The grand cross in the birth cart of health care is exhibiting it's unpredicatable nature this morning! Part too of this disconcerting "birth" is the angry, violent anger accompanying it. The latter is becoming very worrisome. However, Sally and Morgana have pre-warned us about the coming upheavals. Certainly this violence will lead to an event that may act as a trigger -- to what, no one knows.

It would soooo be lovely not to find one's self existing in a planetary zoo psych ward. What IS that anyway?! No matter what anybody says, I don't recall signing up... particularly with a stroked haid & acting-out thyroid doing a "parkinsonism-like" thing, not uncommon I might add. Sorry for the whine, but I'm just bewildered by it all. One needs all one's marbles to navigate these days & most of them have scooted away. I didn't agree to that. Oh... I just saw a rather inane video with a great cast, "Meet the Fockers". However, it had some rather startling bits to it... i.e. the end where a wedding takes place... the young clergyman reminded me of someplace/somepeople wonderful somehow.

Hi all, glad to see everyone back, especially JoannaO, and Sally - keeping you both in my prayers and thoughts. Been staying away from blogs lately, and just listening to soothing music, and singing along where I can, as QOP suggested. For some reason I keep listening to that beautiful nostalgic American folksong "Shenandoah", and tearing up. There are so many versions of it, but I like Jo Stafford's version (anybody remember her?), and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's version makes it sound like a hymn - very uplifting to the spirit. They're all on You Tube, if anyone is interested.

joannaoregon-in my humble experience (and you didn't ask me) regards synastry the opposition will act as an ending or separating according to what else is going on between the individuals. I had a brief fling when younger with someone I had been longing for but I "saw"through synastry that just such an opposition was also tangled up with so many sesquiquadrates and semi-squares and quincunx's that I knew we would be parting and really I have never seen the man since although I do occasionally hear about him. In synastry that shows more harmony and positive reflection such as trines and sextiles and conjunctions then the opposition could be referring to a greater wisdom and understanding.

From Capt'n Sally -
No it’s only on transits or even progressions to one’s natal chart, it would not work in synastry. I hate to say this but our lives are our lives, we may have karmic connections to others, (relatives, friends, kids, grandkids, lovers. Spouses etc,)but we are actually walking through life alone and what happens to us or someone else, may affect us but it’s really our issue alone, sorry about the writing.

It's the Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot deck!
“The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning.”
Ivy Baker Priest, in Parade, 1958
I’m at a place in my life where these moments of confusion seem to converge into a laser like beam of awareness. Endings and beginnings seem to meld together and each becomes blurred into the other. Instead of seeing the sadness of an ending or the joy and elation of a new beginning I see a continuum of events where each is responsible for the next and all build upon the other. I find confusion is replaced by clarity and sadness is replaced with determination.
“A whole is that which has beginning, middle and end.”
Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC), Rhetoric
We should no longer seek to see the beginnings of things nor yearn to say goodbye to an end. What we need to seek is to see the vision, create, and understand the whole of who we are. The realization of the totality of who we are is the greatest gift that life gives to us. When we understand that the process we are in is not compartmentalized into beginnings and endings we find our lives becoming harmonized into the wholeness of who we are.

I have always undertood "synastry" as the reading of how individuals impact each other which is how I saw the charts I referred to. I still don't like the blending of charts to make a ;new chart I always refer to the people involved in relationship. Are you working on fixing the sign in? This time I got in with my e-mail address instead of my long time ago, user name that I have been using this whole year.
Thank you for the Mathew message joannaO. It is timely . I went to the site the other day & the new one wasn't there.

I have not had problems since my last troubles getting in. I am thinking that TypePad does something even if they are not real responsive. These days once I enter my e-mail I find that everything else is there.
This is about encouraging everyone to "contact" TypePad if you are having trouble. I think they do modify something although perhaps no one will ever say so.
I have come down with shingles which is not in same neighborhood as cancer or strokes, etc this malady has me down and doped up so that I can continue with any life at all. Pain and just plain sick. Doctor has prescribed a herpes meds (chicken pox are a form of herpes and so is this evolution of those pox from childhood) I will be fine in some days but I am feeling sorry for my little self right now.
Interesting the astrology of this with Saturn transiting my 6th and you can figure out the other stuff if you want to consider all this. At any rate I have had the opportunity to re-walk some VERY important periods in my life when my fate was sealed as we say. I think that this sickness is here to get me to STOP and review this stuff and then get beyond it even though I was unconscious of how these episodes had held me.
Enough of me!! I should probably just shift this to my own journal but I think I will "send" it-rainy ,black morning here.

Good for you, Clymela! I resigned from the Brit's "Keep a stiff upper lip" society a while ago! Nutz to that! Not only was having "the condition" a bummer, but having to pretend that it didn't really exist "very much" was an extra burden & kept it recycling. So I just wail & that gives family/friends permission to do same... at least around me. TaHA! Now nobody has to pretend to be macho anymore.

Absolutely agree with you dear joannoregon. A friend started telling me the story of her mother driving several miles with shingles at age 87 to attend her grandson's wedding well I have no desire to be like her mother. I would rather be my soft self and keep my heart open to the promptings of holy spirit.

I'm so impatient with people being labeled conspiracy theorists. The PTB have had quite a campaign going to discredit these theorists. Come on American sheeple the government has been up to no good since probably it's inception. Or at least the 1940's when the "illuminati" really gained control. As a side note, I have a neighbor who was in the Pentagon when the "plane" hit it. People were killed around her. She won't talk of it, but I gather from her license plate (Fight Terrorism)that she embraces the official story.
At any rate, I hope 2010 will indeed be the big reveal. I'm thinking a lot of people will be just so shocked that our government would do such a thing and will be in denial.
By the way, for you gardeners out there Capricorn comes in Sunday night at 9:07 PM Sunday DST. Good time to plant 'taters and other root crops.

Wow, Joanna! Wow! That's especially shocking prognosis regarding the banks. I've always held to the belief that 911 was perpetrated by those who are making a last-grasp effort at even greater control (and it's going to fail). But, suspension of specie payments? Now that would be all out class WARfare.

So "specie payments" is the making of money by the government and banks to "use" so that they don't have to risk real wealth? I am not clear on this at all but it seems to be part of how the Civil War was funded and the action really frightened those who lived on the wealth of their "real estate" which I guess in parts included slaves to work that real estate. We have been working with this form of money for years but I imagine it now has a different name because neither Encyclopedia Britannica nor Wikipedia mention the use of this in the Great Depression.
People have already lost so much-those who had $100,000 now are supposed to cheer when the big boys announce that they now have $70,000 but the catch being that they can't get hold of that paper money to hide in the backyard or to turn into land or something real.
Peasant that I am I read daily that the sharks are out for my modest pension which I invested in with every month of employment and which was quite a little sum in the last fifteen years. I find this sad

Clymela, i actually loved it! Thank you!
Attached to the concept of specie payments is the convoluted notion that if, say, the bank holding your mortgage (or credit cards, auto payment, etc., etc.) goes belly up, YOU STILL MUST PAY! How clever is that? Yeah, yeah, i know. Bad word. More like how *ucked up is that?
Even though it seems like this species is on a suicide mission, i keep faith that the dramatic shift we are all experiencing is for the better. Getting there, however, is entirely different story for the energy is so fouled that someone is going to get seriously hurt by those adolescent beings looking for an excuse to vent their anger.

Karen-okay I get this clearer now and I think I "see" the thought behind this. In our culture if the bank goes belly up someone loses for sure but the government comes in and takes over and this is where the mortgage payments go. If we didn't do this we could never have a national economy and would be reduced to trading sticks or something or gold for that matter as long as human beings cherish gold. I am seeing that the "economy" is really a spiritual thing that works as long as we believe in it and that is why we should have only the best folk at the top but how to find out who is "the best" when the information is provided by the maniacal adolescents that are running things.

Joannaoregon-interesting that you would bring up this idea of dying and trying to hide the facts. When my father died and the family was invited to "view" him after the undertaker got done. I was hit with shock to see a representation of my father at his best around age 50. I was so outraged. As if my father would have laid down dead in all his glory, beauty and strength and left us to muck around the best we could. I am grateful to this day that I kept my mouth shut that day for his image was a comfort to my mother.
I don't care if I get drugs. I use them today and I am grateful. However nothing quiets that question of what are we doing here and how did I get so old? The ideas of past lives were a comfort in youth but they don't seem to work so well now.
Love to you dear sister and everyone else here. Really love and light to all of us.

Look at that Saturn!! Whoo,whoo-I was looking for the intercepted sign and came upon Saturn seemingly screaming out LOOK AT ME/LOOK AT ME so I looked at Saturn quincunx that famous Chiron/Neptune conjunction. Um?? is that some fall out between the old and the new?? I don't know but I am asking. Was it a problem of old equipment or then perhaps old hatreds? Moon in Pisces right at the MC with ruler Neptune conjunct and traditional ruler, Jupiter, close by in Pisces profound desire for change and evolution away from the old ways?
And why says the foreigner did they load up the cabinet, etc. for this journey? I mean why everyone in the one plane? Well chart ruler Moon caught up in all of this.
Everyone write in what they see. I am amazed by the Moon/Neptune/Chiron conjunction at the top-joining the "people"with the far reaching spiritual longings of an age.

Grizzly now signing in as Richard on Starlight contacted me there because he says that he can't get in here.
Hi Clymela
I’m the American guy who has lived in Warsaw for the past nine years (can’t sign in as G-r-i-z-z-l-y anymore, as the blog seems not to like this word)
Also having problems signing in at Astroworld, but just read your recent comment there, so I can at least offer you my take on this horrible day for Poland re the possibility of foul play you bring up in your Astroworld comment.
Obviously it is a terrible tragedy, but as a fairly hard core conspiracy theorist (9/11, JFK, London Tube Bombings, etc.) I really don’t see any conspiracy or foul play here…
Lech Kaczynski was an ultra nationalist, extremely socially conservative Pole (always tried to ban gay pride marches in Warsaw for example…) who could just not let go of the past, especially related to Poland’s admittedly terrible history with both Russia and Germany…
He constantly held huge and very elaborate and expensive public memorials and ceremonies commemorating all the wrongs done to Poland, particularly by these two neighboring countries.
He constantly dredged up the past, always looking under every rock for ex Communist collaberators/sympathisers, rather than trying to move on and concentrate on current problems in Poland like the ever widening gap between the very rich and everyone else, and some of the absolutel worst road and rail infrastructure in the developed world.
I’m not surprised he took so many high ranking people with him on this trip to Russia to once again relive past tragic Polish events (in this case the group massacre of Poles by Russians in a forest toward the end of WW2).
In fact I can’t imagine that anyone on the plane who was “invited” would have had the nerve to turn down partipation, as Kaczynski was famous for his personal vendettas/vindictiveness against perceived enemies or non-cooperating parties (think Richard Nixon).
In fact, I believe that he was so determined to arrive on time (he was not invited to the official Russian ceremony prepared by Putin, who chose to invite the far more moderate Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk instead), after deciding to hold an “unofficial” memorial there, that even though the plane unsuccessfully tried to land three times before being strongly advised by the air control tower to divert and land at Minsk, Belarus (because of the terrible fog and poor visibility) that Kaczynski quite possibly insisted that the pilot land the plane there regardless of the risk, IMO.
The black boxes already recovered may verify this, but if so, I doubt the conversations between the pilot and air controllers would ever be made public, so not to further devastate the Polish populace or totally destroy Kaczynski’s post death reputation.
Not nice to speak ill of the dead obviously, but that’s my honest opinion…

"Eris is conjunct the sun in Aries..............
This weekend the Sun is conjunct Eris. It’s exact some time Sunday in most time zones. When the Sun makes a conjunction to a planet, we have an opportunity to see how that planet expresses itself [key Sun concept] in both the personal and collective spheres. There will be events in the news and in our personal lives."
update:
http://planetwaves.net/pagetwo/
Today is an Eris day but this is a Chiron chart. The Moon is between Chiron and Neptune as the jet containing the polish dignitaries and many others went down in Russia — in the fog. Saturn in the 9th house (10th house by whole sign houses) is right in the dynamic.
The Galactic Center is rising, just like in the Chiron discovery chart. This point is also prominent in the Kitty Hawk first flight chart. A very rough looking version of that chart is at this link on Cainer.com.
The degree of the nadir is “a widow at an open grave,” themed on leaving the past behind.

ERIS was the goddess or spirit (daimona) of strife, discord, contention and rivalry. She was often represented specifically as the daimon of the strife of war, who haunted the battlefield and delighted in human bloodshed. more......

Wanting to help those shut out: request from TypePad your old user id and a new password. This could take some time but when it shows up use it and then change your password to something you can remember. I always mark the "remember me" even though TypePad dcoesn't appear to remember me-I'm thinking that perhaps that helps their machine to remember that I have been there.

Good job Sally! You obviously inherited your Grandmother's will & determination...........
Yes.... do remember to rest and replenish yourself!
Residuals from the politician insider report.
Even tho I have stepped down from my Senatorial run, ( my name still on the ballot as a placeholder), yesterday I received a 6 page questionnaire from the NRA Fairfax Headquarters.
It reads: Candidate questionnaires are NOT released to the public, but the information derived from them is used to DETERMINE CANDIDATE RATINGS, which are communicated to our members!
CANDIDATES WHO FAIL TO RESPOND, MAY BE RATED A "?" IN NRA MAILINGS TO THE STATE. A QUESTION MARK MAY BE INTERPRETED BY OUR MEMBERSHIP as INDIFFERENCE or downright OPPOSITION, to sportsmen & sportsmen related issues.!
( OMG Horror of horrors!)
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY QUESTION LEFT BLANK WILL BE COUNTED AGAINST THE CANDIDATE!" END QUOTE!! The following questionnaire would have required hours of research on all the nuances of firearms issues; quite aside from the central business of running a campaign to get elected.
I am still outraged that I can go over to Acadia Nat park packing guns legally......BUT as a CENSUS WORKER, assigned to the "unorganized territories" outback, with the loggers & the seasonal camps and the MOTHER BEARS COMING OUT OF HIBERNATION with their CUBS, I was NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE A GUN FOR PROTECTION!
( I turned in my maps & quit the job!) A co-trainee, who drives a 4 wheel jeep, VERIFIED THAT DECISION SAYING " Oh yes, your little car would have bottomed out in the first mile of those logging roads!")
Be sure that the NRA will get a short but succinct letter from me.
Meanwhile the idea to start a Civics oriented youth group, locally is gathering supporters as I talk about it.!

* Photos That Make Teabaggers Shit Blood:
That large black man is Rick Walker, and he is the living embodiment of that old white guy's nightmares. Walker was marching in a counterprotest against the deluded megacult known as the Tea Party, who were having some kind of rally of the damned on Tax Day yesterday. He's part of a new group called "The Other 95%," which was created to use "facts" and "reality" to counter the fantasy policies the teabaggers have conjured like a World of Warcraft hellscape.
And what's not to love about the picture? The skinny, bearded white guy who seems to be holding a not-at-all agitated Walker back? The face of the goateed old guy, who looks like he's ready to vomit out some acid mixture of fear and confusion in his gut, wondering who let the Negroes in to ruin their perfectly fun cross-burning?
Oh, sweet goateed old guy, Walker didn't want to harm you. He didn't want to cut your throat or your Medicare. He wanted to pierce your thick coat of nutzoid shellac, a rigid shell made of Glenn Beck's semen, Sarah Palin's spit, and Republican cash money. http://rudepundit.blogspot.com/

* What do we get for our US tax dollars?
We like to think of Europeans as poor overtaxed serfs but the benefits they receive show the shortcomings of the US system
Most [USians] seem to regard 15 April – the day income tax returns are due to the IRS – as a recurring tragedy on the order of a biblical plague. Particularly this year, with US govt deficits soaring, everyone from the Teabaggers to Senate Republicans are reviving a scary Fri the 13th scenario from the 1990s about a return to Big Govt. Recently Rudy Giuliani even stated that Pres Obama was moving us towards – heaven forbid – European social democracy.
Europe frequently plays the punching bag role during these moments because there is a perception that the poor Europeans are overtaxed serfs. But a closer look reveals that this is a myth that prevents [USians] from understanding the vast shortcomings of our own system. ... http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2010/apr/15/tax-day-us-europe

Is this all orchestrated to prevent any real change? I have been noticing what appears to be a balancing act by the Obama admin. Is this what people want to stop? And of course by saying people I misspeak-I mean the insurance companies and the banks, the money managers.

Ahh, Clymela...I think very few USians are in sympathy with teabaggers or even know much about them. For one thing, they are a micro portion of the USian population blown up large by certain media & we've been around & around this track many times. They don't have anyone else apparently upon whom to focus except bags of bitter media tea. A proverbial tempest in a teabag. I don't hear anyone around here going on about baggy teabags except as a prelude to a delightful beverage.

Next time God talks to you Rush - get out your hearing aid....
Fri, hate radio host Rush Limbaugh lashed out on the volcanic eruption that's affecting air travel over much of Europe, saying it was "God speaking" in response to health care reform passing. The problem here is very clear. Rush has hearing loss, a side effect of all those years of taking OxyContin & Vicodin that his maid was scoring for him. If his hearing was working he would have heard God more clearly, who said he was punishing the rest of the world for what it did to Iceland. The great Republican recession crisis that spread in [USia] in 2008 unleashed a economic epidemic that spread around the world. It was Iceland, with a small population of 3000,000 that had the world's highest GDP per capita and counted itself the happiest of all countries, that caught the worst economic disease and it has nearly finished them off.
Yesterday the foreign minister of Iceland, Össur Skarphéðinsson, noted that their capital city is in an area that is clear of volcanic dust and the sun is shining, that Iceland was stuck with 5.4 bn in IOUs because of the London and NY Bankster meltdown, and implied that Karma happens. "What are we supposed to do?" he asked rhetorically. "Say we're sorry for the volcano?" Other Icelanders, according to Kirk Semple in the NYTimes, were pleased that the ashes of their economic meltdown were being sprinkled over Europe where it all began, or that quote "we want cash, not ash." Next time God talks to you Rush - get out your hearing aid. - Thom

* The Goldman Sachs indictment
19 April 2010
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a civil case Fri against giant investment bank Goldman Sachs charging “fraudulent misconduct” in relation to $1 billion of worthless sub-prime mortgage securities Goldman palmed off to its clients in 2007.
The SEC’s submission to NY’s Southern Dist Court provides a devastating glimpse into the criminal activities of a financial oligarchy that was not only indifferent to the destructive social consequences of its operations, but eager to profit from a crisis precipitated by its own speculative activities. ... http://www.wsws.org/articles/2010/apr2010/pers-a19.shtml

I am sickened and frightened to read that Arizona has passed the proposition that will allow law enforcement to stop anyone "who looks like they might be here illegally". McCain the creep is quoted as saying "illegal aliens are trying to create auto accidents".
I have been in a lot of pain and this crap is scaring me
Also, watching too much TV. I cannot stand Bob Corker of Tennessee-appears to be one of the meanest dudes to come down the road.
Oh by the way I will be sure to NEVER go to Arizona since with my slight stature and dark countenance might make the Law think that I am here illegally.

Bliss,CA?? Native Californian that I am sounds like heaven to me. Well probably not that exact part of California I am sure but you can see why I thought of that after sharing your story of traveling through Arizona.
Corker is the lawmaker that won the race over that young DLC member who recently moved to New York thinking that he could run there-wish my brain was working better today. Well therre a still a few cells popping: I am wanting to think of Harold Ford Jr.
At any rate Corker has been showing up on MSNBC this week and he is one mean sounding SOB

Fun piece from Political Waves!
* What an interesting week we’ve had. The progressive boulder Obama nudged down the hill a year ago, impeded by right-wing gravity, stony hearts and — some might even say — Jabberwoks, [as I did in the weekly] is picking up speed. Momentum is a good thing, m’kay? And we’ve seen some this week.
Here are a few interesting tidbits that tell us change is upon us:
Goldman Sachs has finally been charged with fraud. Matt Taibbi dubbed them the “great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity” and the moniker stuck. As the Dems go after big banks, more info is bubbling out of the rip in the fabric of Wall St. The SEC is going after Goldman for their activities in the sub-prime scandal.
Meanwhile, Sen Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s counter-intuitive attack on regulations got him in trouble with even his own. After closeting himself with some 25 big Wall St players for a pow wow he opened his turtle-yap and declared the Dems pending financial reform another “endless taxpayer-funded bailout.” McConnell’s home state newspaper, the Lexington [KY] Herald-Leader accused him of “unabashedly courting Wall St bankers for political money” and “happy to scratch their backs if they’ll scratch his.” Well, sure — it’s Mitch they’re talking about! The Dems, having learned last summers hard lesson in allowing the Right to control the conversation, called McConnell a ‘liar.’ Good word. Right to the point. ... http://polwaves.planetwaves.net/

Corker is the product of an elite family. Chattanooga, TN is home to many such elite including the coca cola folks. And yes, Clymela he is ruthless. I'm sure he's in common company. Most representing our supposed interests have come from wealth. Their understanding of human nature centers around control issues. They don't really care what we think of them.

Bliss, CA or Blythe, CA? AZ is KKK land if ya'll aren't lily white or pinkish you will be stopped and must show your papers, don't sass now or Arpaio will toss you in the hoosegow.
I love AZ the land, the beauty of the deserts...the people..not so much. My fathers family is from AZ from both sides Apache and KKK. So the sane ones moved to California in the 1920's.
I read this morning that Mitt Romney is now calling La Jolla, CA home...he's supporting Cruela Whitman, helping the little lady buy the governorship. Jerry Brown is nowhere to be seen lately. Not a happy camper with our Democratic only one running candidate Jerry Brown, he's gone conservative in his old age.
Chatted with Sally she has a new article percolating. I'll put it up as soon as she gets it to me.

Hey joannaoregon, Miss Sally has promised to send me her latest take on our stars. She's busy busy busy.
Tired out? Yes, I've been way too busy for too long. The stars are pretty tumultuous. Too many hot hot issues where people who can usually reasonably disagree are just rabid lately, can't count how many topics and discussions I'm tap dancing around.
I do know that we've often talked about the times of change and the upheaval that would be brought on. Feels like a pretty tough slough to the other end. I'll have chat with Sally...some say 2018, 2020, 2024 before we'll be back on track. That may sound daunting, but in reality we have the opportunity to shape the outcome. This oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is huge, it's impact catastrophic to both the economies of the Gulf States, it's stretch could reach far and wide, Mexico, the Bay of Campeche, or the Florida Keys, Cuba. Geeze the fishing industry. Yet another reason to get off of the black gold addiction. We are still having some hefty quakes around the ring of fire, hurricane season is making an entrance soon and forecasts are favoring an active season. Boggles the mind. The Political season is upon us for Primaries, first up is May 4 North Carolina, Ohio, and Indiana. Hang on it's all a wild ride.

I have been down with illness but up today to check in with my dear ones. So happy to see the activity here.
I must admit that I am only thinking of the tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico. I feel as if the Earth has been attacked in the arteries and bleeds to death before us. This tragedy has blinded me to the movements of the politicians hustle to cover up what has happened.
Why do we not know why this well "blew-up" so violently that the entire well was destroyed and the Earth is left to bleed out into the precious ocean the very womb of life? Why did I just find out yesterday that the owner of the well is BP? Right now I hate politicians including our lying President. Oh yes lets have off shore drilling all over the US lets destroy anything that might challenge our might. Frankly I will willingly live a small little life at a slow human pace but then I already do..joannaoregon=thanks for the Michael link and I will go there now. Really I love you all and I am filled with grief. This is the biggest tragedy to me even surpassing the stupid hateful wars, the destruction of our economy by the smartass boys of Wall Street (boys refer to both male and female here), all of it.

Can someone please see that Sally gets this msg?
Sally, regarding nuropothy: I've known for some time nerve damage responds to ki, but I was getting nowhere with my REIKI treatments on a client. When I added REKI treatment (tx) to her hypothalamus she began to responding.
On 4/20/10 I added the hypothalamus to REIKI tx.
4/21/10 She had nuropothy in the AM which diminished as the day progressed.
4/27/10 I cont the hypothalamus plus massaged her feet and provided ki from hip to bottom of the feet.
She called me 4/28/10 reporting nuropothy in the AM which receded to zero as the day progressed. I am encouraged. I treat her once wkly.
The hypothalamus appears to me involved with spontaneous remission and the director of zero pt energy for the body.
Thomas Bearden has some info on this at his website examining the work of Priore (sp), Becker, and Popp(sp).
My best to you Sally, Timmy J REIKI Master

* SaLuSa 3-May-2010
... Humans have been brought up to do as they are told, believing that their leaders truly represent them. Now you are realising that the power lies with you if you would but use it. People power is real and does not need shows of aggression, as this simply aggravates a situation. By all means demonstrate peacefully to get your message over, and you will find that it will reverberate down the halls of power. Hitherto you have been kept in the dark about what is really going on, but with many dear souls who have come to Earth to bring Light it is changing very quickly. You are finding that by example they are encouraging you to speak your truth, and when sufficient are doing so a beautiful energy will travel around the world lifting people up. You are powerful beyond your present understanding, so believe in what you do and as we so often ask, keep your focus on the future that you desire.
We do not tell you that you are sovereign beings without reason. You are not meant to be subservient to anyone, and when you move into the higher vibrations you will find all are treated as equals. As Beings of Light you will live in harmony with each other, and more importantly you will put others first. It therefore creates a perfect environment where all your needs are satisfied and no one suffers lack of any kind. Your first experience of such a wonderful existence will come before Ascension, as you are already working towards a new paradigm that will deliver all the changes leading to great benefits. You are loving and happy souls given the opportunity, and we shall ensure that it comes with our First Contact. You will be informed of what is in store for you, and it will provide you with stability and lasting peace. http://www.treeofthegoldenlight.com/First_Contact/mike_quinsey/channeled%20messages/May%202010/salusa__3may2010.htm
