It appears -- that before we fully realize our power -- those who have been successful in accumulating the few remaining resources are attempting to consolidate power. The shrinking pool of financial organizations is chilling. The inability of congress to put the brakes on this is equally disconcerting.

The auto makers are not asking for loans from all the other countries making GM/Ford/Chrysler products. Nor are they asking for loans from the oil industry. I find it curious that they are seeking money from the people's treasury. There are other sources. What does it bode? Why is the treasury the source of rescue for the failure of the few? Again, it means to me that those who want more by any means are grabbing wealth while they can. The result will not be what they expect for as you imply -- when we go down, so do "they."

The way they are trying to run this country and have been for sooo long is akin to a pyramid scheme and right now they are seemingly draining the treasury. The Auto Makers just want to make sure they get theirs so they can expand into other countries, they won't guarantee that they will buy products in USA like tires etc. We are paying for all of their expansions into other countries because other countries won't help pay for the expansions, and that includes banks, manufacturering, insurance (wait until that hits) all the people at the top. This is their path to the NWO. What they should figure out soon is if people don't have the money to buy products (which is the case right now world wide) they will just be fighting over their money at the top. This is going to be chaos personified. Most of the money the top dogs think they have is paper, soon to be worthless. The problem with pyramid schemes is eventually you are the only one at the top with nothing below to support you.

I have always said that Obama would be a bridge from the old order to the new order and maybe even a bridge to the NWO but it simply will not look the way they think when they get there.

The thing is while all of us are responding to those collective internal urgings of unity, the map being drawn by the cosmic rays, no one who is a leader has a vision of what that could look like, the leaders on the side of corruption have a vision but their vision is rooted in the past and the past is gone we are just trying to bury the body. Once the 100th monkey or the collective mass has a vision the leader will arise, many think that's Obama, I hope so but there is a good chance that he is simply the bridge until we are ready, most all of the 6 billion on this planet. The frustrating play we are watching is just that frustrating, especially on the day to day basis. Some of us who are already there with the vision are extremely impatient (that's almost everyone if not everyone on this board) and tired of it all.

With the massive defeat of the con Repubs in the Nov election & the installation into the WH of a liberal-leaning centrist President, there finally might be a window of opportunity when popular political pressure could actually make a difference. We don't know how long this window will be open to fresh air, so it's important that we get our act together ASAP & move with solidarity to effect as much vital social change as we can.

Sometimes, we might be able to do this in concert with President Obama & the Dem maj in Congress, but because the hyper-cautious (& at times complicit) Dems are often part of the problem, we may have to raise a mighty voice to get our pov across in a Wash that is all too prone to wishy-washy compromise, a helleva lot of "spin," & lack of genuine progress for ordinary mid-class & poor citizens.

You may question my assumption that the System now is reminiscent of the corrupt System that was facing me & my contemporaries back in "The 60s." Yes, our society has made great progress in some areas. But in others, it has regressed mightily. sally-you really touched the pulse here. I felt such sadness welling up as I read your article. You just touched so much that is-right now-this moment- a snapshot of the Spirit right now.
I no longer believe in anyone-certainly not the Democrats who rolled over and gave away a trillion dollars but can't get the muscle to help the auto workers who evidently believe that it is better to rip-off working people than to risk the anger of the bankers.
When I was young and all caught up in the worship of those on top I had a thought that was an image and it was of those on top standing on all those on the lower level-a pyramid. I saw clearly that those on top literally depend on the lower ones for their position. I felt very different about my position as one of the "beasts of burden".

Clymela, I alternate between wistfulness and anger over what is happening in this country. It has taken me nearly 8 years to grieve the loss of my faith in the government and the last thing was "I don't trust any of them" Now I can look at them as people, not all good and not all bad just people like everyone else.

Most of them are trying to hang onto what they've got, most of them are, no matter how they got what they have. I actually do not think the majority of the people in Congress or in politics actually know what it means to "serve the people" I am convinced they've forgotten what "upholding the law" means, I don't even know if they know what the law might be. No they are just people, just like us and that has made it easier to step back and look at what they are doing. I heard someone say the other day that "the mob" is running the country and I thought "they're right" why is it we don't want to look at that.

I am interested in seeing what Obama does, no more of a "how Obama changes" in office and he will change. I just hope this country will never again put their faith and give their power away to people we don't even know, we just follow blindly. But, of course, we will.

In the meantime the play going on in Illinois is hilarious, their governor is basically giving them the finger and will not step down. It's too funny, oh they will get him out of their but not right now, like GWB, he's gonna stay where he's not wanted

Years ago when reading through Liz Greene's books.........the one I couldn't finish was the Astrology of Fate. I compared the outer planets to my chart, thought,
1. the last years of my life are going to be difficult.
2. Maybe this is too medievil an interpretation.
3. Don't give it life by thinking about it!

It snowed from about 8 - 10 a.m. and was very pretty. I hosed down the citrus trees and some of the plants quite a few times to get the ice off. We didn't have a freeze but it was cold enough in the altitudes to snow. Last time it snowed was 2004, and the time before that was something like the late 80s -- I didn't live here then so I'm relying on what someone told me tonight but it could be verified easily.

Liz Greene's book is based on outer plantary transits to a person's natal chart, it doesn't take into account the aspects the natal chart makes to other planets, those kind of books are generic without taking into consideration that one may not have the disease to begin with, so I wouldn't worry about that one, and we all should try not to put the negatives out there instead of the positives.

Mr. Madoff (don't know his birthday at all except he was born in 1938, if anyone can find it that would be so great) but Pluto was in the final degrees of Cancer in 1938 and Jupiter is opposing that now, drawing off money instead of bringing it.

Oh, and Mr. Madoff is just the beginning of what will come out about wall street. It's the banks who will ultimately be the problem as they are trying to consolidate all the money under three or four world banks, not good

We have been spared the worst of the ice storm so far here on the coast!
It snowed about 2" in El Paso in 1957, when we were stationed there for basic training. We didn't have antifreeze in our old Desoto, by the time I drove Ed to the base it was overheating.........but his battalion was the NG 103rd, mechanics, ( The first to enter Bagdhad/HJessica Lynch et al) so with their advice I drive home VERY SLOWLY, in my pj's stopping to let the car cool down, was invited into a firehouse for coffee & dougnuts, and the car survived to get us back to NJ for Christmas the next month!

Snow in LA., California (along with a ton of other states) is broke, one of the most respected and revered stock house and the person who runs it arrested for fraud, the auto companies going belly up. It feels like the chaotic swirl started 30 years ago (or more) is going faster.

I can easily see when this started with him and the 18 Virgo Neptune with Saturn and Uranus hitting that point and one can see when the hammer was coming down. Interesting that he was arrested on the Full Moon impacting his Neptune. Wall Street (May 17, 1792, 7:52am, New York) Their Mars is also at 18 Virgo, look for the market to drop through the floor today.

I am happy to see I was wrong about the markets tanking today, don't know who boosted them up but it's good news for investors. This is a hard Full Moon and crazy mutable energy slapping it's way across the world. Life is going to get interesting over the next week I think. I enjoyed knowing that Cheney went to the Hill yesterday and kept repeating "Hoover, Hoover, Hoover" to his fellow Gopers. It didn't do any good but at least we know they have some concept of how bad their actions can make it for everybody.

By supper time, all problems had been resolved and life started to flow. I have never quite experienced such tidy resolution on an aspect.
