I didn’t get to see the exact moment of her swearing in, what happened? Did Athena ride her horse into the Rotunda splitting it in half with her sword? Did the burned witches of Salem stand silently, their bodies alight with vindication? Did the testosterone for men on both sides of the aisle begin to dissolve? Did the Pope, James Dobson, Pat Robertson gnash their teeth and were their sanctuary’s torn asunder? Did the Goddess Shiva, Ruth, the Wicca High Priestess, and Holy Mary Mother of God hold the Sacred Book for Women for her to swear upon? Did women all over America stand and dare to dream of their own potential for affecting change? And God, did she/he smile?
Even though the Moon was VOC at 29 degrees Cancer (lots of emotion in this 110th Congress, a never ending supply, hopefully we won’t see the “crab” disappear.) according to Morgana this is the “Full Wolf Moon,” and Nancy is preparing to indeed be “A Women Who Runs With the Wolves.”

There is much to be concerned about with the 110th Congress over this next year. Except for the Moon and Saturn all the planets fall from the 6th house through to the 10th house with Neptune conjunct the mid-heaven (17 degrees Aquarius) Mars in this chart is at 21 degrees Sagittarius opposes the US Natal Mars, indicating a fight for the heart and soul of the United States. Mars also sits on GWB’s South Node, her energy coming out of his past to be his Nemesis. The 29 degree Cancer Moon in the 3rd house is a sure promise that she will hear often from “the people.” Although Uranus is squaring the Ascendant and her progressed Moon, a danger of political foot in mouth disease because the truth will be constantly slipping out of this congress’ mouth creating perceived problems for the Democrats. That said, the NN is also in the 10th house and the NN there would say that their power remains intact, oddly enough hearing the truth will not weaken them but strengthen them, not before the make a mess for themselves.
Nancy is an Aries, forward thinking, progressive, innovative, but she has a lot of Taurus, (Saturn, Uranus, Venus and Mars.) Maybe the Neptune at the mid-heaven will help to cover up the most egregious of her mistakes, because her Jupiter sextiles that Neptune. Her natal Mercury conjuncts the NN of her Swearing In chart and her Moon trines it, Nancy might bring new things and a new light onto situations without intending to do so, but it will help people think in a new way and it turns out to have good results. She will indeed use her “mommy voice.”
There is strong feminine and masculine in her chart and her swearing in chart, I really believe this woman is up to the task of taking on a patriarchal institution with a healthy dose of the matriarch and ending up initiating the beginning of a balance between these two methods of domination. We will be moving toward “adulthood” Not the “mommy protector” or the “daddy protector” but a new vision of the “adult and self protector.”
I saw one of her young grandsons looking at her with such pride and awe it just caught my heart. We have a new generation of young men taking pride in the women in their lives, a good thing. As to the power of women, I saw a former Republican Representative and a Democratic Strategist on Hardball and they were absolutely giddy that a woman was the Speaker of the House.

I do not expect miracles, Nancy Pelosi, when all is said and done was raised on the brand of politics we see now and I don’t expect a whole lot will change in a deliberate way. The Democrats need to get a spine, the GOP will fight viciously for their theocracy, their greed, their over the top power, and their right to operate corruptly; it becomes so exhausting to fight like that. No, things will change in surprising ways almost by accident, but the “ceiling” in politics has been cracked and will continue to splinter until there is a more equal balance of thought and action.
