This article isn’t about who is right and who is wrong, in this kind of fight that debate is so well documented and re-documented absolutely nothing could possibly be added to the debate other than proof positive that the people of both sides have been duped into fighting wars that in no way shape or form benefits them, their families, their lives, or anyone around them.

The only opinion I have regarding the Middle East is “I don’t care who started it all or where it started” I don’t seem to have a spokesperson or leader for my side, the side spelling PEACE, because the entire world is in the crosshairs of total destruction of these ongoing wars and no one wants to waste their time with a moribund political system. Weapons of Mass Destruction seemingly have been placed in frighteningly immature hands, all over the world so now we have “blow em up” video games in real time.

I am going to address a few of the issues in the charts of Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. Because of the ostensible sensitivity and polarities regarding this subject, it will be a strictly astrological article and my perspective on their charts. I am not going to address all the issues because of space constraints, and time, some of what I write is a synthesis of aspects as opposed to writing them all down.

I am not going to address Palestine because it is not a sovereign country; it is divided among Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. No matter how many suicide bombers and rocks they throw, Palestine is not allowed to work, eat, live, or even walk without permission from someone. They are a completely occupied territory, and they basically have no rights, so I fully expect them to line up with those who throw rocks and bombs at Israel, they figure they are more likely to get rights from those people or get something.

If there is a reader on this blog who is part of the polarity and still tied to a position of “I’m right and they’re wrong” and you want to debate your position please take it off line and communicate directly with the person you are debating. If you have ideas or read ideas for peace, or groups of any nationality working for peace please share. This is not a time to put anymore hatred of race, nationalities, gender differences or color out into the world. The times are more perilous than we can even imagine. We have to try to get past hateful judgment, we just have to try.

ISRAEL (May 14, 1948, 4:32pm Tel Aviv, Israel)

Israel is a Taurus country whose Sun is at 23 degrees Taurus in a square to Mars in Leo, they can be demanding and pugnacious. Sun square Mars, like Sun conjunct Mars can be someone who is their own worst enemy, flying off the handle at the slightest provocation. Their Mercury and Uranus is in Gemini pointing to scholars of all types and as a country a repository of diverse opinions, as well as a repository of diverse symbols from the past or from the dead (Mercury and Uranus in the 8th house with Mercury in a trine to Neptune in the 12th) Their country is home to the holiest of sites for Muslim’s, Jews and Christians. The Dome of the Rock, (Muslim’s holiest of sites is build on top of Israel’s Temple on the Mount.)

“Extremist groups such as the Temple Mount and Eretz Yisrael Faithful Movement with to relocate the Dome to Mecca and replace it with a Third Temple. Since Muslims consider the ground under the Dome to be sacred this would be a highly contentious move. The majority of Israelis also do not share the movement's wishes. Most religious Jews feel that the Temple should only be rebuilt in the messianic era, and it is their belief that it would be presumptuous of people to force God's hand. However, some Christians would consider this a prequisite to Armageddon and the Second Coming..” Wikipedia.

This covers just a little of what Israel is responsible for in their country, they are the keeper or the center of all the religions of Abraham’s Sons. Mars and Jupiter trine in their chart with Jupiter in the 2nd house and Mars in the 10th, a Mars and Jupiter aspect is associated with great wealth, and they sure get their money for the best of weapons someplace. The US might be their largest contributor but we aren’t the only contributor to their prosperity.

Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, and Mars all squaring, opposing or conjunct Israel’s multiple Leo planets and the Sun plus their North Node and by connection their South Node, this is not going to go well for Israel and Israel is different than their government, all countries represent the people and perhaps what the people have allowed, but governments are different and come and go. This strike into Lebanon, on to Syria and Iran is not going to turn out well for Israel. All the above planets have Israel in particular in the cross hairs. Their Saturn, NN and SN line up, along with Neptune, to the disastrous fixed grand cross eclipse of August 11th, 1999 that kicked off this Century. That grand cross eclipse was not only rare but said to have been the same eclipse when Mohammed was born.

The Grand Fixed Cross Eclipse of 1999 was Leo (the Lion) Taurus (the calf) Aquarius (the man) and Scorpio (the flying eagle)These four living creatures stand for all that is noble, strong, wise and swift in nature. Each of them has the pre-eminence in his particular world. So the beasts represent all the greatest and the strength and the beauty of nature.

Using Taurus’ will to build things one step at a time, one brick at a time.
Using Leo’s courage to open up our heart centers.
Using Aquarius’ ability to create the next level of experience.

We do not change without crisis and we are moving into crisis, the Middle East is already there.

LEBANON (Nov 22, 1943, Beirut)
Lebanon is not a hot head country, more seething anger that erupts in little spurts. They too have Saturn just having crossed their Pluto, making them believe they have more power than they do and Pluto is squaring their Moon. Heavy damage will be inflicted on them in the coming months. They don’t quite have the money of Israel, but they have money. As a country they are smart and able to think strategically with brilliant precision, however they are hasty in their actions in carrying their plans out. Jupiter in Leo, squares their Sun in Scorpio, they so believe in their absolute right as children of Abraham. No wonder their so called “freedom fighters” gave themselves the name of Hezabollah, it means “little God.” Their flag is something else; it’s a huge bazooka type gun mounted on some kind of swivel thing and pointed over what looks like a world – nice. Typical of the hubris one finds with a Jupiter/Sun square, our President has the same aspect. Mars is getting ready to conjunct their Jupiter at 28 degrees Leo and square their Sun at 29 Scorpio. You will find Jordon or Hezabollah gathering all their forces together to make a dramatic strike at Israel.

Everyone is going to be slamming everyone else over there, if Syria (Jan. 1, 1944 Damascus, 12:00pm) isn’t in it yet they will be within the week. There will absolutely be angry words coming from that quarter as Mars goes over their Mercury in Virgo. However, Syria doesn’t want war, not yet, but war will be thrust upon them later this year and into the next year.

IRAN (Feb. 1, 1979, Teheran, Iran 9:00am)
Iran is the target of this mess. They are already saying Iran is supplying Hezabolla, maybe yes but more likely no, not at this point, however they soon will. Their Moon is in the Warrior sign of Aries, and the ruler of that sign, Mars, has just been opposed by Saturn as has their Sun (frustrated action suddenly released) Their Sun and Mars conjunct (another sign of being one’s own worst enemy.) Retrograde Pluto just went back over their Venus and will be coming back to conjunct that Venus. By spring Uranus will be conjunct their South Node indicating an unexpected loss for their country. The collective conscious of Iran indicates they might be as pugnacious and anxious for a “fight” as Israel. Both Israel and Iran’s progressed charts indicate the timing of conflict is very near, anytime between now and six months from now. I am going to say it’s sooner rather than later.

The one thing missing from this picture is the country where it all ends. These countries have all the signs in the right degrees to set off the Grand Fixed Eclipse of 1999 except Scorpio. Scorpio is the transformer of the situation and that piece is missing, including Egypt or Jordon. Fixed stars, asteroids, quasars can be found but that really isn’t the piece to the puzzle. It has to be a strong planet coming from a country and not a progressed planet, a planet that stands strong in Scorpio to be the country that ends this danger and transforms the situation. I am continuing my research into a country and/or a leader who will lead the world away from the brink of disaster.

I can’t help but be struck by the disparate but two very distinct worlds, almost as if we are being given a clear choice. There are the scientists, Al Gore’s and Robert Redford’s out there all trying to get their arms around the planet and how to save it. People devoted to technological solutions and alternative fuels. There are those of us who are looking into solar panels, growing organic food, downsizing their lives, getting in touch with each other and families; others using their creativity to inform and educate all of us at to what is happening and possible solutions. There are religious leaders standing up trying to put God back into the place of a loving compassionate God, standing against the war, letting their congregation know that there is nothing in the New Testament that says anything about abortion, sexual preference, or flag burning. There are Corporations trying to be earth friendly, trying to find solutions to health care, even Wal-Mart hired Al Gore to speak to their employees about conservation. This is the world where decent people are trying to live good lives, have a job, provide for their families. There are organizations trying to solve the problems of world hunger and poverty, aids, health care.

This is the world that I see as moving forward, being progressive, tackling the problems created by the world behind us. Then there is the other world, where they are bombing and killing and blaming and destroying, playing out Mad Max and the Thunderdome in the Middle East and seem lost in a daze of insanity and greed.

I’ve wondered if the world energetically split apart on 9/11 and are the progressives following the fall out or have we moved ahead of the fall out? Will it be “Mad Max” who catches us or will the healers and light workers be able to absorb and neutralize them?

Pluto is still on the Galactic Center, and US Progressed Mars is still going retrograde on July 22 – I’m counting on all the light workers pulling the best of us forward, best part is anyone can sign up to be a light worker and a healer, you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
