“Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” was a children’s tale made into a movie. The story involved the most famous Chocolate Factory in the world, owned by Willy Wonka. Following a contest he chose 5 lucky children to enter his factory to see how he made his candy. Every room was magical, filled with delights but all along the way there was the hum of the Oompa Loompas warning the children of the perils of greed, self absorption, arrogance, egotism and lying.

In the end, only Charlie the one good, true and honest boy, who stayed true to his values and what was proper, won the prize.
Charlie is who I have on my mind as the world watches Patrick Fitzgerald, (12/22/1960, 8:43pm, Brooklyn, NY) and the awesome responsibility he holds in his hands. Is he the “good, true and honest man” we are looking for in this country? His Mars conjuncts the US Sun within 2 degrees and his Jupiter opposes his Mars; one result of that aspect would be an overweening pride in his accomplishments and his gratitude in the country he perceives offered him those opportunities. The Capricorn Jupiter in his chart opposing the US Sun holds the potential of feeling a level of protection toward his country. His Mercury resides in Sagittarius and Mercury in Sagittarius is known for honesty being a God to them. His Uranus conjuncts his Ascendant and trines his Mercury, he would be iconoclastic and capable of shockingly delivering the truth to those in power. Since he is in a career where delivering the “truth” can have dramatic consequences for those hearing his pronouncements, anyone under his gun would have reason to shake in their boots, and Pluto is making an unimpeded march toward his Mercury and will trine his Ascendant and Uranus. Our present day “Charlie” is holding a fairly strong winning hand, in fact it would be a dream come true winning hand as Neptune turns stationary direct on his Venus. Leo Ascendant and Uranus conjunct his Ascendant, it’s really doubtful he will fold before the hand is played.
Another very interesting cross aspect and one to watch is the day the first Grand Jury subpoenas were delivered, May 21, 2004, Uranus was just past his Moon in Pisces, and Uranus rules the US Moon, making a sub-conscious tie to the American people. Mr. Fitzgerald’s Chiron conjuncts the US Moon which suggests the potential of a wounding or a healing of the people in the US. Jupiter in the May 21st chart is conjunct his Pluto, and transiting Uranus will oppose that after the first of the year. That is one of the “money” aspects, the “turning paupers into Kings and Kings into paupers” aspect.
He does not dislike Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, Cheney or Bush; in fact he would be quite happy if they would come forward to cut a deal, he doesn’t dislike any of them. This is not a vendetta for Fitzgerald; he would see this as his job, nothing personal. I would not look to him as the new leader of the progressives or the person who leads the US out of her darkness, but he is unknowingly going to open the door so the US can see a glimmer of light at the end of this tunnel.
The Plame investigation is only one room in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, there are many more and they all wind around into places you wouldn’t expect only to find they are all interconnected.
While there are those who wish to demonize this administration for the horrific things they have done, they aren’t demons. True, some are filled and have made the choice to respond to the events in their lives with hate and bitterness and fear and because of that they are about to turn into giant blueberries that will explode all over themselves. An astrologer can find both positive and negative in everyone’s chart, both energies swirl around us all the time, but our free will chooses how to use those energies on a daily basis.
I would bet that George was sold a bill of goods in this job. He’s been sold and given different jobs through out his life with other people holding him up. He lets other people hold him up, do the dirty work, he just signs the papers put in front of him that they tell him he must sign. Now the people who promised to “take the heat” for him are in deep trouble and Saturn has just crossed his 1st house cusp giving him his first view of the enormity of the office of the President of the United States. The biggest crime he has committed is “not caring.” Everything stems from that, he didn’t care to learn about other countries, he didn’t care to learn about other cultures, he didn’t care to even learn about the people he is serving in this country. He doesn’t want to know what they experience, what they need, or how to work with us.
We have allowed a man who is basically “The Truman Show” to be President of the United States, and now the persona developed for him by others is disassembling in front of us. It isn’t a coincidence that his troubles come just as “Reality TV” shows are tanking.
It doesn’t matter now what happens to Rove, Cheney, Libby, they have lost completely and will not be able to rise from this. Their proximity to the office of the Presidency is a great detriment, and they will not be wanted by George Bush’s cabal (Poppa)
Patrick Fitzgerald’s duties are nearly over, will we be able to turn, and as Willy Wonka turned to Charlie and say “a good deed never goes unnoticed.”
