The above quote from Scooter Libby’s now famous note to Judith Miller, who was languishing in jail for her refusal to turn over her notes or name her source, (even after “her source” had given her permission to do so) remains a mystery as to the true meaning of his words. Was Scooter waxing poetic or was he sending a message to the neo-cons chosen messenger turned jailbird, and maybe a turned coat.
Several years ago I went through a period of time where everything I touched or did turned to chaotic pandemonium. My speech most often was inarticulate, I seemed to be always dressed wrong for whatever occasion came up, dinner parties became nightmares of burnt dishes, babies teething, roofs falling in, bathrooms backing up; chaos, absolute chaos every day for weeks. My experience and everyone’s experience when disruptive energies swirl around is what life is like right now on Capital Hill.
Watching the missteps, the recently enraged and awakening media, the looming indictments, George Bush’s noticeable ticks, swirls, jigging, and rapid blinking creates an image of poltergeists flying around the White House and the Presidency. Almost looks as if the jokes about GWB as the puppet are true and the Puppet Master has left the room leaving our “leader” to flop around like a rag doll.
For years now what has been obvious to 50 percent of Americans and 90 percent of the World, is beginning to frighteningly creep into the consciousness of the other 50 percent. Was it Ms. Sheehan, the grieving mother of a dead soldier who wasn’t important enough?
to this administration to even offer a bottle of water while she stood in the searing heat of Texas? Was it the image of dead swollen bodies and people dying every day in New Orleans while Mr. Bush ate cake? Was it the rising grasp that we were lied into this war by this Administration? Certainly Ms. Miers figures into the disappointment of “the base.” But there have been other scandals with these people occupying the White House, many scandals. Starting with the “appointment” of GWB on December 12, 2000, with its 21 degree Sagittarius Sun and t-Pluto conjunct it starting in late Aug. and continuing today, it would seem an action taken by SCOTUS on that day has fallen on bad times for the Court and the people. I expect SCOTUS or most of them know that by now.
Just as America’s problems and the players involved resembles a train wreck, so is the astrology around them. There are too many interconnecting waves to even begin to address in one article. I must pick only a few as they relate to the grand events unfolding, and so I pick America, January 1, 2005, and the Grand Conjunction of Jupiter/Saturn in Taurus on May 28, 2000 at 11:51 AM Washington, DC.
The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction and January 1, of course affects not only American but the entire world. Once we escape from our myopic view of ourselves and stop seeing ourselves as the only “center” of the Universe we are looking at a stunning diary of the times and only time will tell if it was “the best of times” or singularly the “worst of times.”
The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction is an energy that affects the world for 20 years at all levels of human and earth changes. Taurus is an earth sign and concerns itself with things of the earth, food, clothing, shelter, money etc, and potential changes in those resources. Taurus is also ruler of the physical earth, all earth signs are concerned with the physical earth. In 2000 as Jupiter and Saturn aligned for its 20 year journey, Uranus squared that marriage, and we all know how Uranus disrupts, it’s also the “new” the “progressive.” Uranus at 20 degrees Aquarius in 2000 was a reminder to Taurus that he is coming, he is the change agent and the “status quo” would be shattered. In fact, all three of the outer planets were in universal signs (Sagittarius and Aquarius) signaling to Jupiter/Saturn that they could visit the past but change would rule in the end and that the change would be chaotic; when a person or the collective feels change is on the way, the tendency is to become more rigid and try to control.
Another strong message at least to the US, was revealed by the 6 planets in the 10th house, Jupiter and Saturn in Taurus, and Venus, Sun, Mars and Mercury in Gemini, another signal of confusion among our leaders and institutions and of intended and/or unintended duplicity. At the dawn of the new Millennium in 2000 Pluto was at 11 degrees Sagittarius, knocking on the door of the US Ascendant and ringing the bell of brutal awakening for this country and carrying the message that all has not been what we thought for the last 200 years.
It’s the Sun at 7 degrees Gemini, ever so close to the US Uranus, that’s creating the most recent topsy-turvy mess we find ourselves. Transiting Uranus has been squaring that Sun, and the day Hurricane Katrina struck, Uranus was in an exact retrograde square to the US natal Uranus. As the first sky god, created by Gaea without help, and ultimately becoming her husband, Uranus does not stand on convention or the niceties, and loves to stir up a hurricane here, an earthquake there, carve that coast away and level that mountain across the divide. Uranus has one more square to its own US place through January and February.
The main thing to remember about those higher realm Gods which would be Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, they most of all love turning kings into peasants and peasants into kings, and that’s what I think is happening right now. When the dust settles on this period of time, it will not be what our “leaders” have done to us; it will be what is done to the “leaders” all over the world and in every section of their life. Do not believe the mighty cannot fall because they are falling all over the world. And the more the “mighty” scramble for control and try to bring the hammer down on the people, the more you can be assured they are falling.
The US progressed Venus will be conjunct the US Saturn exactly in late December, it’s almost there now and Neptune will turn direct in a trine to that pairing, bringing the possibility of disease and cleansing of confusion at the same time. If you’ve noticed, the scales are beginning to drop from America’s eyes now. There won’t be much in the way of gain for the political twaddle to which we are subject. Another interesting aspect with the US Saturn and progressed Venus at 14 Libra, that was the degree of Mercury at the 9/11 tragedy. I expect information about that dreadful to begin raining down from the sky on our present Capital Hill Gang throughout 2006.
I said in my article in January that our politicians on both sides of the aisle haven’t yet realized how angry and disgusted the people are with them. I also said the media would have the chance to turn and they are turning. While millions could see the naked Emperor from December 12, 2000, millions more shockingly saw a leader at 9/11; hardly anyone saw a leader at Katrina and they won’t see one again and they won’t know what they saw in the beginning.
The players, Rove, Libby, Cheney, Bush, Rummy, Porter Goss (his turn is coming soon) miscellaneous side shows like Delay, Frist, Abrahams, etc., are almost of no consequence to our own collective growth. We will beat them, but not with money, power or swords, we will beat them with our own and collective spirituality. Start humming.
