CNN pointed out that this was essentially the same speech given last year when the polls were falling for Bush’s war. ABC reported that the only applause came from a WH advance team. CNN also reported that an immediate poll taken after the speech of 50% Republicans, 27 percent Democrats, and 23 percent Independents over 50 percent were favorably impressed. The astrological indicators (0 degree Capricorn on the Ascendant) would say “it’s too soon really to tell how the speech will help.” The other astrological indicators beside the Ascendant say “it won’t play too well and will be forgotten soon.”
Neptune, ruler of the third house of this speech tells us the story of the media “spin” but Uranus occupying the 3rd and inconjunct Jupiter accounts for the sudden information regarding the “fake” handclaps, and CNN’s “same speech” information, all big slips for the media. Saturn is close to the cusp of the 8th house of money and inconjunct the US Moon, it won’t be lost on Veterans on the Troops that there wasn’t a promise of more money for them, and there won’t be anymore coming.

The more this speech is taken apart the more angry the people will become (Moon conjunct Mars in the 3rd house of communication) Karl Rove is trying to pull his leader up out of the rut of low polling and lost trust. I’m not sure he can do that and he didn’t do it with this speech. The speech he made last year at this time had better aspects and that speech did nothing for him.
John Kerry was on Larry King with Bob Costas (isn’t he a sports newscaster?) and “Bob” spoke with Kerry. Senator Kerry was intelligent and thought provoking with solid ideas for Iraq. My apolitical daughter said “he really hits the nail on the head.” And he did, he also did a great job of pointing out that we are hearing a third reason why we are in Iraq, articulating the first two very well.
The Sun fell in the 7th House of our friends/enemies in a square to Jupiter in the 9th House of our overseas friends, and Leo, the ruler, was intercepted in the 8th. None of our foreign leaders, including Iraq heard anything that might help them, they heard more clatter from GWB.
There is always great hope when the President of the United States speaks, hope for the nation and hope around the world. Even those who don’t like a President have unconscious hopes because we have been trained to believe. There is hope that some kind of promise or expectation of things getting better will be revealed. There is hope of strength or an anticipation of a leader who knows what they are talking about or a hope of hearing the truth. In our heart of hearts we want to believe and be lifted up, it wasn’t there and when it isn’t there, in time people have a greater let down than before they went into the speech, the let down is coming within or less than a week. The Arabic Part of Death falls straight up at the Mid-Heaven. The speech died before he left Ft. Bragg.
