SWING LOW, SWEET CHARIOT; COMIN’ FOR TO CARRY ME HOME

I looked over Jordan and what did I see,
Comin’ for to carry me home!
A band of angels comin’ after me,
Comin’ for to carry me home! ( Harry Thacker Burleigh)

The earthquake and tsunamis throughout Indonesia, India, Africa and the massive loss of life make the conversations about Armageddon seem remote and ridiculous. Isn’t Armageddon about the world coming to an end? Well it did for untold thousands. That chariot has been swinging mighty low the last few weeks all over the world. Even Muskogee, Oklahoma felt a massive explosion tonight as plant furnace blew up and set surrounding houses on fire with more death to add to this week’s toll.. Swing Low Sweet Chariot!

While our President remained silent as he was bicycling and clearing bushes on his ranch, our last elected President, Mr. Clinton, called the tragedy a horror and countries needed to act immediately to help these people spread out over the Indian Ocean. Mr. Bush’s response was “he was assessing the situation and didn’t want to deliver a I feel your pain speech.”

Can we help you Mr. President in “assessing” the situation ? This is the situation Mr. President; tens of thousands have died and tens of thousands more dead will be recovered. The danger the living face in the next few days will be death by disease, because they can’t bury the bodies fast enough. Then there is death by starvation and thirst because they don’t have food or clean water. That’s the situation Mr. President.

A gentleman at the UN (Jan Egeland) has suggested that the US is cheap and stingy in their response to the crisis. After Colin Powell whined that we weren’t stingy, Mr. Egeland retracted his statement, but the damage has been done. The sad part of that statement is other rich western countries don’t give very much to world relief, but we in the US give even less. I would suggest to the UN and the rest of the world that they just don’t understand. We are spending literally billions upon billions, over $4 billion a week, killing innocent people in Iraq, we don’t have a lot of money left over to save lives. Not only billions in Iraq, we have a crowning/inauguration for our president and that will cost over $40…..million……dollars for the Bush supporters to eat, drink and dance the night away on Jan. 20. No, we aren’t selfish in this country, it's not our fault all those people in Indonesia were swept away. We are not connected to our fellow man, only to those in the US.

Whoops, I stand corrected, we’ve raised the amount we are giving to $35 million, almost up to the same amount as the Inauguration. I am sure the comment that we were “stingy” had nothing to do with Mr. Bush speeding up his “assessment” of the situation.

There is some question as to what set off this quake not in but close to the “Ring of Fire” and there will be more questions coming. http://www.independent-media.tv/item.cfm?fmedia_id=10211&fcategory_desc=Under%20Reported]http://www.independent-media.tv/item.cfm?fmedia_id=10211&fcategory_desc=Under%20Reported

The most well known man-made earthquakes was in Denver, Colorado in the 60’s when the Army drilled a 12,000-foot well at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, north of Denver. They then begin dumping waste fluids from the arsenal down the well. The more they dumped the more earthquakes happened, until they had one at 5.0. I was living in Denver then and remember it well. They finally figured out it was the waste material and they started extracting the fluids and the earthquakes stopped. Surprise.

This isn’t the largest quake, but close. In 1960 there was a 9.5 Earthquake in Chile and in 1964 a 9.2 on Prince William Island in Alaska, that earthquake happened on Good Friday, (03.27.1964, 5:30pm Anchorage, Alaska) but didn’t cause nearly the loss of life this earthquake caused with its racing tsunamis hitting as far away as Africa and raising the sea levels by 12 inches in California. With Jupiter in the 1st house of the earthquake chart, I do have some concerns about this earthquake “expanding” around the globe. The Moon was at 24 degrees Gemini in the quake chart, very close to the mid-heaven of the 1964 chart, coming to a Full Moon at 5 degrees Cancer/Capricorn. The Moon was also Void of Course in the 9th pointing to the quake being all-inclusive around the globe. The real culprit however, was Mars at 0 Sagittarius in an applying square to Uranus at 3 degrees Pisces. That square also feeds my concerns of further highly destructive activity over the coming days and weeks. Mars, squared the Alaska 1964 earthquake Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces, and in a few weeks T Uranus will oppose the 1964 Uranus at 6 degrees Virgo, as will T Sun and Mercury. Not a good sign of earth’s stability.

There are a number of aspects from the planets in this earthquake chart and the one in 1964, and I invite our armchair astrologers to dig out the “hits” and potential danger looming ahead. The earth under the sea started moving at Banda Aceh, Indonesia, 12:58am, Dec. 26, 2004. (By the way the Anchorage earthquake was also on a Cardinal Full Moon at 7 degrees Aries/Libra, close to the Ascendant of this earthquake. Hmmmmm.

Jupiter in the 1st house in a wide sextile to Pluto points to the world being generous to the relief effort, Jupiter will retrograde back over her 16 Libra position, so the giving will go on for quite awhile. The United States, our President and what we do related to this tragedy will be “watched” by the rest of the world. Our Sun (GWB Sun) falls in the public 10th house of the quake chart. The US Moon falls in the 5th house of children, with an inconjunct from Saturn. The dead and homeless children will break our hearts and we will be looking for some creative solutions to those left homeless and orphaned.

Chiron is in the 4th house opposing Saturn in the 10th, there is an opportunity for us to step up and aid in the healing. I think we are going to want as a collective whole, for our nation to step up to the plate on this one and we will be vocal about it, Mercury and Venus are right on our US Ascendant. It’s also possible that a famous or well-known American died in this heartbreaking catastrophe, time will tell. One thing for sure with a Gemini Moon, and 4 planets in the third house (three of them Sagittarius) this won’t easily die down and there will be much honest communication rolling out, even with our state owned media, the problems in Sri Lanka however will eclipse Iraq for awhile. It could also spotlight for Americans and so called Christians, how much we spend to kill and how little we spend to save and heal. What is our responsibility to our fellow man as individuals and as a nation?

While the senseless killing of thousands of innocent Iraqi’s and the cruel torture in prison camps haven’t seemed to shake America’s belief in her “compassion,” the juxtaposition of these two killing fields could have the effect of America seeing herself as cold and will project that out onto her “leaders.” We will not like the picture, and suddenly massive, senseless dying will become overwhelming for us and maybe, just maybe sicken us. One thing for sure, George Bush needs to put on a face of sincere compassion for the people throughout the world that have been affected by this calamity. The Christmas Full Moon fell across our Venus and Jupiter we want the best of ourselves to come out, not the worst.

Ohio is still heating up. I don’t know the outcome, but it’s going to gain some steam. There is something about the “stingy” remark, Bush’s lack of compassion, the incredible amount of death in Indonesia and with Americans involved that awakens our consciousness. One of our posters repeated a dream about swords removing scales from people’s eyes, some of that is starting to happen and it’s been at a great cost.

EXPECT ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE AROUND THE RING OF FIRE SOMETIME OVER THE NEXT TWO AND A HALF MONTHS. I spoke with a geologist today at the Geological Center in Boulder and was told that not only did this earthquake wobble the entire earth, it moved islands and it will be weeks before we know how dramatically it actually rearranged the earth. While the epicenter isn’t exactly on the “ring” it’s very close.

Everyone who has early degree Mutable from 0 to 7 degrees (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Virgo) be careful out there, it’s an ill wind that blows and it's blowing world wide.

I remembered a quote from St. Augustine that seems appropriate now, for us and for the world:

"Miracles are not contrary to nature,
but only contrary to what we know about nature."

Start looking for and expecting miracles in your daily life and in the world.
