BATTER UP

Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible. (Anonymous

Just remember-when you think all is lost, the future remains. (Bob Goddard)If Dixville Notch, New Hampshire is an indication of the nation, the votes are in and counted. Fifteen votes for Kerry, fifteen votes for Bush and one for Nadar, it’s going to be a long day.

I wasn’t going to write and article tonight because I am almost beyond reading charts, I hold on to a thin edge of objectivity (never a good position for an astrologer) And I believe the energy is going to play out in line with the destiny of the United States.

A very Republican friend of mine called to tell me that she and her mother were voting for Kerry. I’ve listened to friends and colleagues argue both sides. I’ve listened to people say “I don’t like either one of them,” offering no reason for the dislike, they just don’t like them. The one thing I’ve noticed about the candidates that should be disturbing to those who will vote for Mr. Bush, and that’s the amount of Republicans who supported him in 2000 have publicly turned away, that hasn’t happened to Mr. Kerry except for poor angry Zell Miller. I’ve also noticed that not one Senator from either side of the aisle has really come out to criticize Kerry for his record in his 20 years of the Senate. Even the Republican ex-Governor of Massachusetts who ran against Kerry for the Senate in 1996 speaks very highly of him as a man of integrity. The angry Republicans like DeLay, Frist, Hasert, Gringich have been very quiet. None of them have shown up on any talking head shows that I’ve seen. Even the beloved talk show guest in August and September, John McCain, has been pretty silent or not covered by TV. I don’t watch Fox News so I don’t know if they have been on talking about “fair and balanced.” Colin Powell is quiet, Donnie Rumsfeld is quiet, John Ashcroft, all seem relatively quiet on the right-wing front. Pat Buchanan. This doesn’t pass my Scorpio smell test.

We now know the Boston Red Sox won the World Series and the Washington Redskins lost their game on Sunday, the race is over. All good omens they say, for John Kerry. So for fun let’s take a look at Dixville Notch, New Hampshire and their voting chart and what it might tell us about the day ahead.

There is an 11-degree Leo Ascendant (already passed GWB’s power point of Pluto) opposed by Neptune in the 7th. Watery, confusing, swimming in fog Neptune has been opposing George Bush’s 1st house during his entire 4 years of office. Now it’s at 12 degrees and inconjuncts all the natal Suns of George, the Republican Party and the US. If you are holding your head now then you know the potential of this aspect. Connnn fuuuu sion and a willingness to be a victim and martyr. Fortunately Kerry/Edwards and the Dems will NOT be affected by this aspect so they might be able to see a little more clearly in this election. The energy could also act in a manner that the world will be saying “what are they doing over there, what are they thinking?”

The Midheaven is 29 Aries, something is passing in this election; something is lost. Hopefully it won’t be the United States. Venus and Jupiter are in a square to the US Venus and Jupiter, pointing to exuberance for someone. Mars is squaring the US Mercury, so there is anger for others. Mars is also sitting on GWB’s 4th house cusp, a move? A career fall? Saturn is opposing the US Pluto, power trying to balance (this is a similar aspect to the 9/11 chart and that was about trying to bring a country into balance, by a violent group to be sure, but that was their demented intent.) And by the way, didn’t Bin Laden look healthy, wealthy and perfectly at peace. I thought the color coordination of his outfit against the wallpaper background was a nice touch. His little greeting to the American People on the eve of the election didn’t seem to rattle anyone, didn’t do much to change the polls and that’s what matters.

Cancer, the ruler of George Bush’s Sun and the US Sun is on the 12th house cusp, and the two Suns fall into the 12th house, further emphasizing and exacerbating the Neptune energy. While Sagittarius is on the 5th house cusp and will be rising during the day toward the Mid-heaven, voting will shift absolutely toward Kerry’s favor by 3:00pm.

Neptune and the 12th house emphasis I think ensures confusion will reign today. I hear there are 10,000 attorneys out there and I would bet by noon at the latest there will both parties claiming voter fraud file lawsuits. For us, the masses, this isn’t our fight, we just have to vote and they will fight. Ohio went for Bush in 2000 and this year Uranus is setting on the North Node indicating to me a better than even chance that Ohio wants a change, their Moon conjuncts Kerry Saturn. The Saturn person (Kerry) might make them feel safe. I think Kerry will win in Ohio.

Florida? You gotta be kidding, a person is nuts to make any prediction in Florida (03.03.1845, 11:22am (rectified) Tallahassee) I don’t have the chart of when they became the nation’s “Center of Corruption,” so any prediction I would make, you would have to consider suspect. I saw Jeb on Larry King, and he seemed pretty calm and sure of himself and his state just as he did in 2000. I have a dream that Kerry wins every state but Florida and Mr. Bush gets that one.

No matter what happens tomorrow, we’ve done all we can and that is vote. No matter who is President, that person is not our lives or our center unless we make it so.

A Supreme Intelligence has been in charge of this Universe since the beginning of time of that I am sure. That Supreme Impulse is still there and still in charge. We have often fallen short of our ideals in the evolution of the human race, but we still reach for those ideals, we still reach for the hope and love and faith that are out there and are ours to have. What if “God” were a huge living breathing energy and each one of us were a true creative part of that energy? We each have a spark of what we call divinity, even the people I don’t like possesses that spark. Perhaps when this election is over it will be necessary to actualize fully the spark of divinity in order to evolve.

I will end this the way I started, with a couple of quotes and I hope they speak to you just a little.

Simply put, you believe that things or people make you unhappy, but this is not accurate, we make ourselves unhappy. (Wayne Dyer)

There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them. (Clare Booth Luce)

PS I predict Kerry will win and he will be an unwitting catalyst for something good for us all, something none of us can see right now, something he cannot see right now. I also believe people will be surprised how much they like him.
