The obfuscation coming out of Washington these days is really beginning to challenge my personal sense of reality. Scenes of torture that isn’t torture but abuse, Rush Limbaugh says it’s something akin to a “collage hazing, like Skull and Bones.” If what we’ve seen is comparable to the Skull and Bones hazing it would explain a lot about GWB. Dennis, I stayed home during the war, Hastert (Jan. 2, 1942, Aurora, IL) has accused John McCain (6 years as a POW in Vietnam) of not understanding the meaning of sacrifice for his country. General Kimmet of Iraq is still denying that troops attacked a wedding party going on in the desert in spite of a video from AP showing the wedding. Kimmet swears it was insurgents (Iraqi people violently against our occupation)
The darling of this administration Ahmad Chalabi, the guy the American taxpayers were supporting to the tune of $350,000 a month, is now a spy for Iran, or always was an Iranian plant and we knew it. However, while his staff have all been arrested, he is making the rounds of the talk shows (more money.) Chalabi’s fall is in part due to the in fighting between he and Paul Bremer who is himself about to fall from grace.
George W. Bush took a tumble off his bike a couple of days ago, that is just about one of the best omens he is going to get with his presidency now on the line with approval ratings of 41 percent, what’s next?
The next thing on the US/Bush agenda would be tonight’s speech and trying to win back the ‘hearts and minds’ of the American people. With his poll numbers sliding down that electorate hill as fast as they went up, this administration must do something so we will talk to the errant public. The speech is scheduled for Carlisle, Pennsylvania, at 8pm today, May 24th. They have not requested that the major networks carry it live and it looks like the networks may not. Fox of course will be there as will MSNBC. For George Bush the speech will be an attempt to use his words to manipulate the public with Mercury opposing his Pluto and tonight’s Moon on his ascendant and rah, rah, rah Jupiter just past a conjunction to his Mars. This speech takes place at the Army War College in Carlisle, so I expect he will be successful with the troops there.
The Ascendant will be at 29 degrees Scorpio (critical) when he begins his speech. It’s too late to change the public’s mind. Mars and Saturn is making a hard hit to his Sun with both of them at 11 Cancer, the country wants to hear good news but is in no mood for another misstep by this administration or the Republicans. I just don’t think they get that, I don’t think they understand that the country is turning cold.
Wall Street will continue to pour funds into George Bush coffers, the elite will continue to say “all is well, you’re doing a great job George,” and Washington will keep on spinning, never realizing that the spinning top is not moving and has dug them a hole. With Saturn close to the US Sun people are beginning to crystallize their opinions, and very little will sway them once they turn away.
With transiting Mars conjunct transiting Saturn expect some new drama to unfold over the next several days. Even if there are some who buy the ‘stay the course’ Bush plan, with tonight’s Sun moving toward a square to transiting Uranus and transiting Jupiter plus a conjunction to US Uranus, his course is about to come under really heavy fire.
We think of things as happening to us but they are happening to all including Bush and his band of merry men and their inability to connect with anything but the underbelly of the collective will destroy them as we, the people, try to climb out of the slime we see ourselves rolling around in. Claudia Dikinis said to me that she figured “Karl Rove was changing his diapers at the top of every hour.” They are afraid because they are losing it and with all the Saturn squeezing every one of them, they don’t know how to get it back. If they do get it back it will be because something happens that the people’s fear becomes greater than theirs.
There is so much that is happening right now on the micro and macro level it’s hard to even articulate much less list the aspects, America and GWB’s biggest shocks about their government are still to come. This administration is the culmination of the worst of this country for the last 50 years and every hidden piece of goop will surface including how we allowed the soul of this country to be sold for our lifestyle with hardly any questions.
This is not the America your parents believed it to be, not even the America we believed it to be, now we have to find out whom we are and what we want to create here. Will we be the America that continues to fetch and carry for those who would strip us of our dignity? Is it too late for anything to change, to be better? I think not. Pluto in the 1st house shows us what we let ourselves become, the stripping period. Think of it as a move to a new house, the move itself was terrible and a mess, but the new house can and will be better. There isn’t any time to focus on the worst of the move and Venus over the next 8 years is going to show us how great the new place will be if we let her.
When things are ostensibly beyond confusing it seems to be a good idea to pull above the trees and try to get some perspective from a distance. The Venus occultation coming June 8th is a good place to start. The day-to-day events on a mundane level can be maddening as well as terrifying. I sometimes wonder if the gods just rattle us up from time to time to see what we really want and to introduce a new way of being, pushing us out of our ruts and making room for the new.
The planet Venus is considered one of the benefics in Astrology and her upcoming occultation has not happened in 122 years and she is accompanied by a new Comet, the Bradfield Comet, discovered March 23, 2004) Mercury was in a trine to Pluto indicating the Comet brings us news with it’s arrival. The “Venus Transit” a very rare occurrence where the planet Venus passes between the Earth and Sun, kind of like an eclipse. These “Venus Transits” or eclipses come in pairs, separated by 8 years minus 2 days, and have always had to do with some kind globalization. No one alive has seen one of these transits. It would appear that the Venus eclipse when in Gemini relates to “land or cosmos discovery” with a resultant shift in expanded consciousness, mass enlightenment. The eclipses in Sagittarius relates to inventions that would “connect” us with our discoveries.
Will we hear from UFO’s, find out there was life on Mars or that there IS life on Mars, it will be bigger than Sedna that’s for sure. The “Venus Transit” is on June 8th and is right on top of John Kerry’s Moon, and GWB’s Draconic (soul/spirit) Mars. According to Vedic tradition this is a turning point for the world, the actual starting point of “The Golden Age” coming to a conclusion in 2012. Will it be Kerry or Bush to lead us to this “mass enlightenment,” or is there someone unknown waiting in the wings? One thing is for sure after June, someone must be able to give us, the people, a vision beyond what we have today and they will have to sustain it through the 2008 Election. Venus Retrograde in Gemini in the third Decan ruled by Mars indicates this 8-year odyssey of Venus will actively promote even more angry polarization of the minds in the near future, giving way to greater understanding of one another down the road. More than an understanding, a collective coming together, a meeting of the minds if you will, this Venus has less to do with individuals and more to do with the collective consciousness of the masses.
The Sun and Venus in this occultation is in the 1st house in an applying opposition to Pluto in the 7th, powerful dialogues will eventually open between couples and then races and then the rest of the world. Mercury is in the 1st house conjunct the Ascendant and in an applying square to Uranus. Stunning information, in our personal and collective lives will be revealed that will open up those dialogues. And Saudi Arabia and with its Pluto at 17 degrees Gemini and Uranus at 19 Sagittarius will be one of the first countries on the agenda, their relationship with the Bush family is about to become a big topic of discussion.
The occultation falls close to the US Mars and Bush’s Uranus. The, at first, imperceptible yet powerful and sudden shift of thinking throughout the world will leave this administration and the US reeling. It’s not about us anymore; it’s about our connection to all of humanity and the opportunity to lead the way. By fall, I expect the collective ‘we,’ will be sick to death of war and hating and fear but it will take at least 8 years to turn the entire behemoth we call earth around.
This administration has brought the world to a crescendo of disaster and it will be up to us, working together to turn it around, fortunately the cosmos is bringing us help. We may not know or understand who or what is out there but I do know that we have help.
The ancients specifically stated this to be a time for the rise of China as the power in the world. Over the next 8 years there will be a dramatic change in leadership in China and a change in how the world views ancient Chinese mental, physical, and spiritual ways. The mind, body and spirit will become a front and center topic. There will also be a re-discovery of valuable information lost long ago, information we can build upon for a better tomorrow.
