On the positive side creativity soars, athletes find they are “in the zone,” dreams seem to come true, ideals are created and even manifested, glamour (or the illusion of glamour.) On the negative side, time slips away, money evaporates, illnesses sneak up, addictions take hold, world leaders think they are appointed (or anointed) by God. All possibilities are possible under Neptune. Hubris, mendacity, obfuscation, all belong to Neptune, and just when you think you have an understanding of what is happening, just when you thought your feet were firmly on the shore the landscape shifts and morphs into something entirely different and the sea rolls on.
Neptune plays a huge part in our collective psyche, and Neptune for the first time in US History slithered over our South Node opposing the North Node (and GWB’s Mercury and Ascendant) when we went down the rabbit hole in 2000, putting all we “say” we are as a country up for grabs, asking what is real and what is illusion. The fog for all of us has been so thick you could almost cut it with a knife, “confusing and obfuscating” the ideals of America and we have ended up following the “bouncing ball.”
When Neptune passes the aspected planet in charts (people or countries) nothing looked like you thought it would look. That massive beautiful wave rolling onto the shore crashes everyone who rode in and leaves broken bottles and trash when it rolls back out to sea.
George Bush is riding that wave, “war will bring peace,” Dick Cheney, “there are weapons of mass destruction,” (this was said after Mr. Kay’s report) Rumsfeld “I don’t think anyone ever said imminent,” Richard Perle “they will throw flowers at the US soldiers,” Colin Powell “there are absolutely WMD’s, we know that for a fact. They are in a grove of palm trees.”
Before we snigger at these comments don’t forget that to millions of our fellow countrymen these statements make perfect sense. Neptune was on our South Node in 2000 and recently shifted to an inconjunct to our Sun (and Bush’s) Pluto is opposing the US Mars and squaring the US Neptune. We are about to become card-carrying members of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Neptune also covers insanity.
I would suggest that George Bush and his administration don’t believe they are lying. They DON’T hear anything contrary to their beliefs and Neptune lends a hand in making the unbelievable believable. Just as we in the US have always believed ourselves to be the best and greatest so does this administration believe themselves to be absolutely right in their choices with no room to question. They simply do not hear what is being said to them, and the end justifies the means.
Denial is a Neptune quality, the US Mars in Gemini square a 9th house Virgo Neptune, Mars ruling a Neptune house (12th in the US chart) The collective consciousness in this country is insecure, afraid of failure, afraid of disapproval, afraid to face our flaws and weaknesses. We are gullible and vulnerable to outside suggestions. Mars/Neptune squares can indicate an addictive personality (our obsession with drugs)
We want to live in a perfect America with no idea how to make that happen and leaders who for the most part, cannot help us. We elect our leaders knowing less about them than we know about a person in an entry-level job. We do not ask for psychological profiles or drug and alcohol testing, we do not press for information about their past personal lives. That would be important I would think since they make wars, pass laws, and take our money. (Gullible)
Pluto is opposing and squaring that Mars/Neptune aspect in the US Chart and who was elected as Governor of California, an actor, a made up persona. When Pluto was conjunct Mars and square Neptune in 1906, San Francisco had a devastating earthquake, with Arnold, they are about to have another and it will affect us all. To all you “anyone but Arnold fans” he has his own comeuppance on the way, his problems just started.

Scalia, a confusing mixture between New Jersey pre-Vatican II Catholic and gangster, considers himself objective enough to be the new best friend of Dick Cheney and still give a fair ruling in a case involving Cheney, pending before the Supreme Court. And I AM happy to report that this will be a HUGE mistake for Justice Scalia as he is finding himself between a rock and a hard place.
Scalia’s Sun opposes the US Neptune in the 9th house of Justice, from Pisces to Virgo. His ego is falsely tied to the Supreme Court. He has mistaken himself to be “supreme.”
His natal Saturn opposes his natal Neptune and Mars inconjuncts Neptune a set up for transiting Saturn bearing down in a square to his Mars. But the best is transiting Pluto retrograding back over to an exact square to his Sun and the news gets better. Scalia has progressed Saturn conjunct his Sun at 20 Pisces and Solar Arc Mars squaring from 20 Gemini. Scalia doesn’t see it yet, but he has just destroyed his career. John Kerry!!! A Sagittarius Sun and Ascendant, with Mars, Moon, Uranus and Saturn opposing in Gemini. Does John Kerry talk out of both sides of his mouth? Yes!! Does he lie or appease? He appeases to solidify the foundation (Mercury in Capricorn square Neptune in Libra. The point isn’t whether he talks out of both sides of his mouth, (name a politician who doesn’t) the point is does he listen to the people (yes he does) and is he “fixated” on his and only his own agenda? NO he isn’t. Always, always look at the motivation behind someone’s actions. The most important thing about Kerry is his lack of obscuring the facts, and he doesn’t blame others for his mistakes. That is a strong leader.
As far as his voting record, to a Moon in Gemini things look differently on different days and things ARE different on different days. So what if he changes his mind, that is not indicative of waffling, but he does need to use his fixed Jupiter in Leo a bit more.
Also, in the Solar Return to Kerry’s pre-natal chart as it relates to his natal chart, he needs to be A. Careful physically between April and October and B. Expect a scandal, or the illusion of a scandal to surround him leading up to the convention, the long knives will be out. I don’t think it will stick, but expect it. The Republicans will attempt to hobble him before the Convention. You don’t stand up to the schoolyard bully without repercussions. Kerry must define himself before the Republicans do it for him and his time is running out to take the lead on this. He should think about learning what liberal means, define and say it proudly. There is a new generation of Americans out there who don’t know that their American Rights, such as environmental safety, overtime, education, Social Security, etc. come from the “liberal party.”
MARCH, APRIL, MAY AND JUNE
March is nearly over except Pluto is going retrograde in a nearly exact square to the US Neptune, letting us know something down the road is coming. The station of Pluto is on Messer21, discovered by Charles Messer in 1754, a huge and bright concentration of stars, including the malefic fixed star Rasalhague. These are the months to watch and I will write more as they unfold.

APRIL
Mars conjuncts US Uranus at 8/9 degrees Gemini with retrograde Jupiter squaring from Virgo, setting off the May 31st 2003 Eclipse, conjunct Kerry’s Uranus Mars and progressed Mars and Moon (this indicates either a beginning of his destiny or the end of his destiny, time will tell) A dangerous period of time for an erupting scandal and/or accident. 8/9 degrees Gemini sets on the Fixed Star Aldebaran one of the 4 Archangel Stars. Aldebaran relates to Michael the Military commander of the heavenly hosts. It is also related to the famed Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Aldebaran would be the one called War.
It has been activated during every war in America and Mars was there when the Atom Bomb was dropped on Japan. I am not suggesting that will happen here, but there could be another dramatic terrorist attack. Pluto was at 17 degrees Cancer when discovered, Saturn and the Moon were at the same degree in Cancer when we dropped the “bomb.” I think we should be emotionally and physically prepared. Keep water and candles on hand. Even if it’s just bad weather, staying prepared makes good sense.
This Mars will also square GWB’s Mars and Progressed Sun as well as his father’s and grandfathers progressed Sun. Definitely indicating the waning months (I hope) or years (more likely) of the Bush dynasty. Physically GWB’s father is under great stress with Mars squaring his progressed Sun and Pluto opposing his natal Sun and squaring his natal Uranus (ruler of his 6th house of health) Missteps for Bush and Rove machine with Mars in the 12 house from Bush’s Sun and inconj. Rove’s Capricorn planets, also great irritation coming from Bush during April, they just cannot make the machine run like it did in 2000. Danger is also lurking around GWB during April.
During the week of the 21st through the 24 Mars and Pluto oppose, however Mercury is in sextile and trine respectively, either delivering a positive message or holding off a message (in every event throughout history, Mercury always comes to deliver the message and must be watched) Mercury in Aries might be a message of war, but whose war? Could be they decide to trot Osama out, but I doubt it, more likely a lot of killing of people around him. In Astrocartography the Saturn/Asc and Pluto/Des. lines cross the lines of Pluto, Moon, Mars and Saturn right through the “heart of Texas,” none of this is good. The terrorists might show Mr. Bush that “we know what you’ve done and we know where you live.” Whatever happens at best Texas is going to be one hot state by April 23, and severe weather cannot be discounted.
MAY
Jupiter goes direct at 8 Virgo squaring the US Uranus and conj. GWB’s Mars. Great hubris and chest beating during May, however Mars and Saturn conjunct at 11 degrees Cancer aspecting the Republican Party, they aren’t so excited.
JUNE
The “Venus Transit” a very rare occurrence where the planet Venus passes between the Earth and Sun, kind of like an eclipse. These “Venus Transits” or eclipses come in pairs, separated by 8 years minus 2 days, and have always had to do with some kind globalization. No one alive has seen one of these transits. Beginning with

It would appear that the Venus eclipse when in Gemini relates to “land or cosmos discovery” with a resultant shift in expanded consciousness, mass enlightenment. The eclipses in Sagittarius relates to inventions that would “connect” us with our discoveries.
Will we hear from UFO’s, find out there was life on Mars or that there IS life on Mars, it will be bigger than Sedna that’s for sure. The “Venus Transit” is on June 8th and is right on top of John Kerry’s Moon, and GWB’s Draconic (soul/spirit) Mars. According to Vedic tradition this is a turning point for the world, the actual starting point of “The Golden Age” coming to a conclusion in 2012. Will it be Kerry or Bush to lead us to this “mass enlightenment,” or is there someone unknown waiting in the wings? One thing is for sure after June, someone must be able to give us, the people, a vision beyond what we have today and they will have to sustain it through the 2008 Election.
