No matter how small or large they eat away at all us in little and big ways. Consider the experiences in your own life where you were shocked or denied a situation, or seemed to be a victim of circumstances. Consider the places in your own life where you refuse to take responsibility for something that happened to you. Look at the places where what seemed to be terrible actually turned out to be for the good, but you were focused on the terrible. The times that inside you wanted something awful to happen to someone who seemed to have hurt you or someone you loved. I certainly can name some fairly dramatic examples in my own life where I have succumbed to the workings of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, including denying my own shadow. One of humanities favorite justifications is “I may be bad, but I am not as bad as the next person.”

I mention the individual because we are part of the collective of the world and right now the United States is standing on a precipice, and the world is standing there with us.
Humanity, from the individual to the whole, is made up of positives and negatives and humanity seems to be spiraling into our shadow. Pluto has given this generation an ugly glimpse of that shadow, starting with 9/11. To be sure 9/11 began years ago, as did corporate fascism, sexual perversion hiding behind the Priests collar, secret power hungry societies and governments, wars based on lies, lives lost because of those lies, torture and the death of innocent, and the enslavement of people, all started in the US a very long time ago, even some of the names we see now are the same names that bought us a hundred years ago. But we are here now in 2004.

There is no doubt that Pluto can create the biggest experience of planetary events with the longest clean up. Find an astrology book and read what Sagittarius rules because with Pluto there we will find all we have been unwilling to face as a nation and be called upon to transform. On 9/11 Pluto not only went over the Ascendant of the US Chart, ripping our illusion of safety and even decency away from us, it also was inconjunct the US Sun. We haven’t exactly known who, what or why since then, but we do have a front row seat as we watch our country’s underbelly exposed. The corruption, secret subversive groups, taboos, decay, decadence, uncontrolled power, nuclear energy, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, everything that has heretofore been denied and hidden from view.

9/11 not only has Pluto inconjunct the US Sun, but Mercury and the Ascendant of the WTC 9/11 chart is squaring the Sun and conjunct the US Saturn. We wonder why the people of the US are so slow in awakening? On September 11, 2001 the American people tied the soul of the collective to GWB’s Karma by attaching our need for safety or our fear of him. En masse we have given our control to GWB either willingly or perceiving him someone to fear. We saw him as one with us, except for the 11 or 12 percent of the people worldwide who lives beyond the collective present day boundaries.

Pluto has a way of directing attention toward a dramatic event while the real work of transformation and change is happening. It is hard to take one’s eyes off the bouncing ball Pluto has unleashed in order to look at what is really happening and how to be a part of an effective agent for change. Pluto will also strip away everything not needed for self-actualization, whether one agrees or not. And with Pluto now at GWB’s South Node again, George had better find out for certain what God is really saying to him because if he, in ignorance, is not working for the greater good of all Pluto will cut him off at his knees, and it looks like that is what is happening. Mr. Bush just might want to go back down on his knees and ‘listen’ to ‘God’ instead of telling ‘God.’

While we were all watching for the sky to fall in the US on April 23 and 24, with Pluto opposing US Mars square Neptune, it instead fell in Iraq, exposing our hypocrisy in taking the ‘moral high ground.’ Remember, “We are liberating the Iraqi people from Saddam’s cruelty and torture.” Wow, that should be something Bush and Blair might wish they had never said. Looks like our troops are not morally above torturing others and enjoying it. A majority wants Saddam back because they were safer.

What type of culture is there in the military that makes it ok for our soldiers to throw away their moral compass? US Sun square Saturn from the 8th to the 10th. We publicly turn cold toward others and justify it all. Saturn rules the 6th house in the US chart, and in mundane astrology that rules the military.
With transiting Pluto still opposing Mars and squaring Neptune, transiting Saturn will be opposing our Natal Pluto. There will either be a big crackdown or a military insurrection. If Marshall Law ever comes in the US because of a new terrorist (government) attack, it will be our own soldiers we will have to answer to, the same military laughing at the pain and humiliation of a mostly innocent people.

Mr. Bush said, “This is not the way of the American people.” Oh no, what about the KKK, the treatment of Native American Indians, Blacks, gays, rapes of women at Colorado Springs Air Force Academy, sexual torture of children at the hands of American Priests and covering it all over with the collar, corporate fraud, treatment of our own American prisoners, and the list goes on. We are looking at the underbelly of America.

PLUTO OPPOSES US MARS SQUARE NEPTUNE. MARS CO-RULING THE 12TH HOUSE OF THE US CHART (OUR DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS SPILLING OUT ALL OVER IRAQ)

Our Number ONE fear in this country with that Mars/Neptune set up, is that everything we have will be taken away from us. Unless we get a grip on that fear and work to overcome it before Pluto swings back over that point, that’s exactly what will happen.

With Pluto opposing Mars and squaring Neptune, can we, as a people extricate ourselves from our symbiotic relationship with this President and the Republicans, or will there be another event in the US that will tie us even closer.

In the 9/11 chart, the NN is at 3 degrees Cancer conjunct the US Venus, Mars was at 1 degree Capricorn and has now progressed within less than a degree of the 9/11 South Node, last year the Solar Arc Mars had progressed to that degree when the war with Iraq started, now it’s the secondary progression. I read this energy a few possible ways.

Number one) (and one I don’t like) the Arabs will start coming for us with a vengeance very soon, thanks to this administrations willingness to allow torture that would make Saddam proud and having the misfortune of it leaking out. (reports are already telling us that there is more to come. I’ve seen some of the pictures, which involved women, and there seems to be some sickening sexual abuse of children)

Two) we will find out how many people and who knew and allowed 9/11 caused by another misfortunate leak. (a real possibility) But there are people who do know the true story of 9/11.

Three) Blair will be given no choice but to pull the UK out of Iraq leaving us alone as the big world losers.

And four) there will be a huge scandal coming out of Iraq and the part Bush/Cheney friends have played in stealing from the US People.

That 3-degree Cancer/Capricorn is absolutely a set up for when Pluto hits 3 degrees Capricorn in five years, and corporate America starts into a free fall. The WTC was a message from the Gods to those whom would play fast and loose with people’s lives resulting in a tear down of the US economy.

We are not going back to what was, we are going forward, like it or not and we will have to find a new and better way. Right now I am not sure John Kerry is it. He is either more physically ill than we know, a Skull and Bones Clone of GWB, or he is shockingly more inarticulate that George Bush. I feel a bit suspicious of a Democratic candidate, sounding more like Bush than Bush, but he is for sure walking on eggs trying to appease someone and it isn’t his base of voters.

If Howard Dean started up an independent run for the White House, I think he would win. If Kerry continues at this pace he will not replace George Bush and maybe that was the plan all along when the media started pushing Kerry ahead of Dean back in January. Frankly there is little in Kerry’s chart that indicates a strong win. He has just a few aspects in his progressed chart, and like all liberal astrologers, I am pinning my hopes on those few aspects.

The aspects that look good for John on election day (if someone can light a fire under him.) is his North Node and the progressions and Solar Arc to that. His NN is at 7 degrees Leo, his progressed Pluto is retrograding back to that degree and his Solar Arc Uranus is coming up on that degree, but we need something to set that off. And here comes Venus on Election Day in Libra at 6 degrees in an applying sextile to the NN, that alone wouldn’t give it to him except Libra rules his MC, and transiting Uranus will be in a trine to his natal Venus, ruler of his MC. So we continue to hope but except for his Saturn return and the inconjunct of Neptune to his Sun Bush’s chart looks pretty good on Election Day, even with the ruler of his MC in Libra at the bottom of his natal chart.

However, I still say that John Kerry and George Bush have to get from May 2004 to November 2004 and it will be October before we know for sure.

I will continue to write about these three outer planets as issues arise but there are a couple of other astrological features, happening right now that I would like to address.

Mars is coming to a square of the 29 degree Pisces Sun on the day the war started and Mars is Out of Bounds. Any out-of-bounds planet wrecks havoc in the lives of countries, weather, wars, people. Briefly, an out-of-bound planet is a deviation from the celestial body’s normal energy. The state of OOB is manifested (for good or otherwise) as uncontrolled or beyond normal conditions or expectations. An out-of-bounds planet can only occur beyond the prevailing declination point of approximately 23 degrees and 26 to 28 minutes, either North or South. Any planet beyond that is out-of-bounds. It has to do with the Solstice Points of 0 Aries/Libra where a concentration of energy exists for any planet close to those points. Out-of-bounds can be genius or wild, crazed, brutal, greedy, whiny, depends on the planet.

Transiting Mars is out-of-bounds right now; normally I don’t look to closely to OOB unless there are other aspects to reinforce the ‘wild’ card potential of Mars.

One of those reinforcing aspects is Venus is also out-of-bounds and in a square to the Iraq War Saturn, and OOB Ceres just passed a square to the Iraq War Moon. Look for violence, rhetoric, greed, hubris, anger (have I missed anything) The US Venus at 3 degrees Cancer is very close to that energy point, we are going to be hearing quite a lot about the companies that are dividing up Iraq and it isn’t going to be good. Mars was OOB on 9/11, Venus was OOB on Election 2000, and the Moon will be OOB at Election 2004.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all global planets, concerned with all of humanity and they infuse the world with the energy for events to happen, what humanity does or how we respond to those events is up to us. We are being moved toward globalization and that cannot nor will be stopped. What that means for each country and each individual remains to be seen, every country is now vying for a seat at the table. What type of people do we want to represent the US interests remains to be seen. Right now there are big bucks and names on the table that want that role. The Bush family is one, the Heinz/Kerry family is another, as is George Soros, Clinton, Blair, the neo-cons as a group, the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia including the bin Laden family, these are a few.

There has always been a split in the powers that be on how to handle the people, because they know that the people outnumber them. Some believe that the best way to control the masses is through fear and intimidation others believe that if the masses have a small share in the pie they will be mollified, causing no problems. We, the people, must get beyond our box, out of our fear, stay conscious and aware because we do have power and there is a huge fight going on right now as to which global side prevails.

Take everything said and done with a grain of salt, they have us out here focusing on the minutia (the Pluto bouncing ball) while they are dividing up the world. Interesting that I just received an article today regarding the biblical history of Iraq, and it’s thought Noah built his arc in Iraq, beginning something new for the world. And there could be another new beginning in Iraq, but not the one the neo-cons envision, as evidenced by the recent shocking revelations.
