One of our readers alerted me to this issue and I have decided to share it with you because she is a very loyal reader to our site, however I do so with reservations. This gentleman has been banned from Google and the question is how wide spread are these bannings and for what reason. I went to Google and typed in a number of phrases and saw a number of sites pop up, including sites with very negative phrases regarding Bush. If you type in "T-shirts against Bush," or "Conservatives against Bush," there are a number of sites that pop up with much worse on them.
However, in light of the recent FCC rulings and the seeming effort made against free speech I think we need to be aware of what appears to be happening and I would recommend you download any material you feel to be important to you as well as email addresses. I am not advertising this site or this vendor, that is against Astroworld's policies, we just provide links. I did think you might be interested.
I would also like to remind this gentleman and the rest of us that it's a Mercury Retrograde and might be resolved when Mercury goes direct (unless the site was started on a Mercury Retrograde.
<< Yes, believe it or not, it's true. I've been banned from Google. Or to be
more specific, my site Liberalamerican.com, has been banned from Google. It
seems Google doesn't allow you to call the President a liar. I'm writing to you
because I need your help to offset this censorship of my work.
Let me back up a moment and explain. I submitted my site to Google and it was
accepted as part of the regular listings. However the sites listed on Google
are listed in order of popularity, and my site, being new, was buried too far
down for anyone to find.
In the hopes of getting my site out to more folks, I researched advertising
options, and found that Google had the best value with their adwords program. I
pay an upfront fee, and when people search on certain keywords, such as the
word liberal, my site comes up in an ad at the top.
It was working pretty well. I was getting a few new visitors a day, and a lot
of them were making purchases. Then all of a sudden, my ad was pulled. When I
called Google, I was told that their rules do not allow anyone to "advocate
against a person or group", and that my t-shirts calling George Bush a liar, a
divider, a failure, and criminally negligent, "crossed the line". I was told
that if I deleted those designs, I could be brought back on. I considered
that censorship and refused.
The next morning, I went to Google and did a search on the word conservative,
just to see what ads would pop up. I found one site selling t-shirts with a
picture of Osama Bin Laden that say " I want you to vote for John Kerry". I
found products being sold with that say "Liberal People Suck" and "If you insist
on burning out flag, wrap yourself in it first". Another site was incredibly
demeaning to Muslims. Yet another compared John Kerry to Gomer Pyle.
So, I guess it's OK to imply John Kerry is in league with terrorists, insult
Liberals, and say that Islam is an inferior religion, but calling George Bush
a liar, well that "crosses the line". There's an obvious double standard here.
I've written to Google to express my frustration and ask why their rules are
being selectively enforced. All I got was a form letter, so I continue to
press for an explanation.
As I mentioned at the top of this letter, I need your help. The best way I
can make up for the loss in advertising is to get my regular listing (the one
that's buried too deep for anyone to find) closer to the top. I need as many
people as possible to go to Google and do a search for liberalamerican. Than look for the link to Liberalamerican.com in the listings, and click away.
Hopefully, if lots of people do this, when someone searches for a more basic term, like liberal, my link will be closer to the top and more people will find it.
Since I'm now being denied one of the best advertising options on the web,
word of mouth is that much more important. If you're opposed to censorship, then
pass this letter along. If anyone has an idea of where I might be able to
advertise to like-minded people at a low price, please let me know. If anyone
knows of any press that might be interested in covering this story, feel free
to pass this letter along to the.

Aside from this information I am going to comment on the obvious increased fear and frenzy we are all experiencing. Not just this website but thoughtout the country. Part of this is due to Saturn coming to a conjunction to the "collective" US Sun and square the US Saturn (in the 10th house) astrologers and those that read astrologers have been waiting for this Saturn transit over GWB's Sun and waiting for this to be the signal of his leaving office, it can also be the signal of more restrictions for the US.
While Saturn is coming to the Sun, Pluto is opposing the US Mars, square US Neptune, oppose GWB's Uranus and progressed MidHeaven, opposes George Sr's Sun, square his Uranus and transiting Mars is about to set it all off.
Just from a physical standpoint I believe George Sr. to be struggling physically and needs to be careful of a heart attack or stroke. At the very least there are some super angry words between Jr. and Sr. with the father a nervous wreck over all that is happening. The whole family needs the calming influence of the the homopathic medicine "Rescue Remedy."
With or without a terrorist attack this country is ready to explode and I don't know who or what will act out our angst.
It can be terrorists, foreign or home-grown. It can be Yellowstone and the supervolcano which is extremely unstable right now. It erupts every 60,000 years and it's been 64,000 years so there's some issue there and scientists have been carefully watching it for quite sometime. Several scientists believe it could be any day now and if it's mild, it would wipe out about 600 square miles, if it's a big one it will take out the United States, at the least the sun will be blackened for several days. (Keep candles on hand and water)
We, as a people, continue to focus on the worst, the pain. I would hope that over the next several weeks that we look for something that's good and happy, just one thing once a day. It might help us all.
Make a Difference
One day, a philosopher was walking along the beach when he noticed a figure that appeared to be dancing in the distance. As he got closer, he realized the figure was that of a young man picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. He asked "what are you doing?" The young man replied, "throwing starfish into the ocean. The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't thown them back, they'll die."
Amused the philosopher said "Young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it? You can't possibly make a difference!"
The young man listened politely and then bent down for another starfish and thew it into the ocean, smiling he said "I made a difference to that one."
The Venus transit is coming up June 8th (see Riders of the Storm part III) and if history is any indicator this one has always brought new and exciting frontiers.
Write and ask Google why Steve Rosen was thrown off. I wonder if he is just part of the first wave of shutting down the internet? The FCC has become as dangerous to the Constitution than Ashcroft. I think they are trying to get back to the 50's, pre-Elvis.
