For whatever reason the media decided Dean wasn’t to be a front-runner. In fact Dean isn’t to be a runner at all save a miracle and the downslide began before the Iowa yell. Everytime I think of the media slams given to Judy Dean, who has more class and integrity and intelligence that any of them will every know, I get angry all over again.

By all accounts Dean should still be in the race with Uranus sextile his Jupiter (co ruler of his midheaven) But Saturn on his Ascendant creating and projecting a down atmosphere, the people and the media caught on and the media decided they didn’t like him. Saturn does a number on us and when it’s coming out of the 12th house in transit, dragging all it’s baggage behind him, well, it’s depressing.

Dean is also going through the famed Hindu Sadi Sati (transiting Saturn in the sign before, during and following the natal Moon) Hindu astrology speaks of this in hushed tones. A Sadi Sati is supposed to produce bad luck and difficult times for the person so affected. As a matter of fact Kerry and Edwards are too under a Sadi Sati, but Dean’s progressed Moon is also in Gemini giving him a double whammy.

I did think of Dean as a strong probable candidate because his North Node is at 4 Taurus, close to the nodes of the Democratic Convention and conjunct the North Node of Election Night. At this point however unless there is a serious misstep by Kerry, forcing the Dems into no other choice but Dean, his run for the White House is all but over.

John Kerry has an interesting progressed Mars configuration. He was born with a 10’36” retrograde Mars in Gemini. In March of 1973 Mars turned direct at 4 degrees Gemini in an exact sextile to his 9th House cusp and I expect he had an epiphany around that time. I think he became a peace activist soon after. Fast-forward to today and that Mars has progressed almost to the exact minute of his birth chart by the time of election and Mars is the co-ruler of his progressed Midheaven. Is this his destiny? As with every one of the top contenders, 8,9, and 10 degrees of Gemini (or any mutable for that matter) was energized with the Eclipse of May 31st 2003.

SOUTH CAROLINA (May 23, 1788 5:08 PM Charleston)

Kerry’s progressed Moon and Jupiter have crossed into SC 11 degree Leo Midheaven and his Pluto is very close to that degree. John Edwards progressed Sun is also close to SC Midheaven. What will make this an interesting race is Kerry’s Natal Sun conjuncts SC North Node and Edward’s Progressed Jupiter is on the South Node. Both of them can count on good numbers coming out of SC. At the end of the day I think it will be Kerry and Edwards. Either of them could win the top spot.

Since I think Kerry will sweep most of the country, I hope Edwards has the satisfaction of carrying his own State. Kerry’s comment “we don’t need the South to win” wasn’t the smartest thing he could have said and could be badly used against him. He’s going to have to cover that remark sooner or later.

Kerry has a habit of “blurting” out his thoughts; however, he’s not that good at lying. (Neither is Howard Dean or Wes Clark) He may seem to change his mind a little too often, saying one thing and then the other, but he just isn’t that good at lying. One of the negative traits (and we all have them) with a lot of Gemini is to seem to be duplicitous, not every Gemini exhibits this particular trait. However politics is somewhat of a duplicitous career path, so it’s likely he can fall to the negative at times, but he eventually will blurt out the truth when backed into a corner. His Sag. Sun will come to his rescue, and he doesn’t have one planet in his 12th house (if his birthtime is correct) so he’s not likely to hide too much from the American People.

MISSOURI (08.10.1821, 1:10pm Saint Louis)

Wesley Clark’s Midheaven and Ascendant are in the same signs as Missouri. I don’t know if anyone can stop the Kerry train but Clark should do very well here. I think Gephardt will throw his support behind Kerry and that will be an up-tick for him.

ARIZONA (02.14.1912 8:00am Phoenix)

Kerry is my pick for Arizona; the money people are going to get behind him even if they want someone else. Although I must say, of all the states, Arizona, Oklahoma and South Carolina can deliver a surprise today, again Kerry and Clark

Oklahoma (11.16.1907 9:16am Guthrie)

I know Clark expects to pick up Oklahoma and I don’t know how much Dean has campaigned here, but Dean could have done pretty well if he had come out to play in the Okie State. Kerry Sun sits on the Ascendant and their Libra Midheaven will go back and forth, but in the end without a strong Dean presence, Kerry will do well and I think Clark with his Mars also on the Ascendant.

I didn’t do the North Dakota and New Mexico caucuses but New Mexico will lean toward Clark and North Dakota might also. They will support the conservative candidate. North Dakota will go with the mainstream front runner (Kerry)

Although I have addressed the Democrat and Republican Parties in previous articles I will offer a quick look here.

The Republican Party (07.06.1854, 12:00pm, Jackson, MI) is on it way down, just as the Democrats (05.13.1792, Philadelphia, PA) were in the mid 90’s. There are a couple of charts for both the Republican and Democrats but these are the ones most often used.

In 1993/94 the Dems had Saturn just passing their Pluto and conjunct their Moon (which also conjuncts the US Moon) and squaring the Mercury at 26 Taurus, adding to the mix was Pluto the destroyer, squaring it all. Uranus and Neptune was squaring their Jupiter and Neptune from 94 through 95, setting up a T-Square to their Saturn. Neptune to Jupiter is “the bubble that burst.” That is the period of time that the destruction of the Democratic Party was underway in earnest.

The Democrats went into a power struggle with the Republicans, one they were destined to lose. They scrambled to reinvent themselves and followed the money instead of the people, losing their way.

In the meantime, Pluto was conjunct the Moon and sextile Mars of the Republican Party solidifying their hold on the money (raking it in) and the people. Neptune was CONJUNCT their Jupiter allowing them to weave the dream that they were the party of the people, God loved them best and the liberals were evil. The Republicans went from Reagan to installing Poppa Bush in 1988 when Pluto was in a trine to their Sun. They believed they had solidified their power forever, and Clinton’s election was beyond a blow to their ego.

Neptune in 1988 was opposing their Sun and they didn’t see the illusion behind “power now and power forever.” The Neo-Cons went scurrying to their hole with great gnashing of teeth, plotting their moves so they could get back to their “power forever” ideology.

Unfortunately for the Republicans, Pluto power MUST be used for the greater good of all and if not a country, person, party must ultimately pay the piper, and here comes KARMA. Remember the Repugs Party Sun is at 14 degrees Cancer. They have tied their showboat to George II. Their Progressed Sun sits at 10 degrees Sagittarius opposing their natal Saturn. All those Democrats running have 9 or 10 degrees mutable something and they are making a run against the stronghold of the Republicans.

Saturn in the Repug chart is at 10 degrees Gemini and their sits Dean’s Moon, Kerry’s Mars, Clark’s Uranus and Edward’s Jupiter is close at 7 degrees Gemini. The Republicans have a stranglehold on this group of Dems. This is close to the eclipse degree of May 31, 2003. I’m thinking that in April when Mars conjuncts 10 degrees Gemini and Jupiter squares from Virgo something happens to loosen the grip on that Saturn, particularly since Saturn is paying a Karmic visit to their Sun.

How do I know there will be Karma for them, because in 1998 when they tried to impeach Clinton, Saturn was in a square to their Sun and they didn’t get the job done, they couldn’t get him out and they couldn’t get enough support from the people to finish the dirty deed.

And now, where do the Dems Fortunes lie. The dust is finally beginning to settle for them from their Plutonic upheaval of the 90’s and they are trying to regroup. Their progressed Sun is at 20 degrees Sagittarius with Pluto going over that degree and some of their lost power is filtering back. Only this time it will be better and stronger because they will and have to be the party of the people (not the money) if they are to survive. Howard Dean has shown them that reality. I don’t know how but I do know that the gods will reward him in some manner for his effort in bringing the Dems back to the people.

If the Democrats GET the lesson Dean revealed they will be back on top this election. If they don’t get it they will have to wait another 4 years. Kerry seems to be getting that message at least according to what he is saying. I have never heard any politician tell the people how much we are paying for the Senators and Reps, health care and retirement. (If you want the exact figures email me and I will send them or post them on the comment section) Kerry is telling us, he’s also pointing out the fake photo ops of GWB at the schools and all the while stripping money away from education. There are some other things Kerry is saying that could bring the people back if we pay attention.

This is enough writing and the article is too long now. I want to leave you with one thing, one thought: “We must take responsibility for listening and paying attention.” I don’t remember a time throughout history that when evil around the world arises, there is usually a leader for good who arises at the same time, giving the people a choice. I don’t see any leaders of peace right now. Then I realized that we the people around the world are being called upon to be those leaders of peace. It’s within us, not outside of ourselves.

It’s a lot of hard work, some of the people in other countries are needing to work harder than we are right here in America, but for the first time in a long time we have a chance. We have the opportunity to rebuild to demand value and respect. We can demand that our government treats other countries with respect. We can do it. We are the Peacemakers.

PS I must say I am amused at CBS half-time activities during the Super Bowl. The irony wasn’t lost on me of GWB from the Rose Garden, kicking off a program with Penile enhancement ads and an obscene half-time program which ended with Janet Jackson’s exposed breast, complete with a metal something. Moveon.org could not get their ads run on the Super Bowl because CBS didn’t deem them appropriate. How lucky can Moveon.org get?

All that money spent on the ads and no one is talking about anything else but “THE BREAST.” How funny. Does CBS really think people will believe they didn’t know, and even if they didn’t know about the exposure of Janet they saw the rest of it in rehearsal and the rest of it was really bad. So we opened with one boob and closed with another. The Super Bowl started with a Moon/Venus/Pluto T-Square and a Sun/Neptune conjunction. Both of these are promises of sexual mistakes and with Venus in the 10th house, those mistakes were going to be public. Oh CBS you poor thing, heads will be rolling for at least a week. The gods have an amazing sense of humor.
