NEW HAMPSHIRE

New Hampshire has long been known to deliver “surprises” in their elections so everyone is waiting on humble tenterhooks to see if New Hampshire will “pick them as the top candidate.

New Hampshire (06.21.1788 1:41pm Concord) is a Cancer State with a Cancer Midheaven, they are going to want to pick someone who “feels” good to them, someone who “feels” Presidential. They will look less at the issues than the “feel” good qualities each candidate projects.

I want to say right up front that I absolutely have NO favorites in this race. My favorite Carole Mosley-Braun is out, so I am free to be objective about each candidate. My predictions will be based on the candidate’s natal, progressed, Solar Arc, Solar Returns and pre-Natal charts, as well as the States they are hoping to win. This will not be an assessment on their character, but on their chances.

At 8:00pm the polls close today in New Hampshire, 14 Virgo is on the Ascendant, 11 Gemini is at the Mid-Heaven. Jupiter is in the 1st house at 17 degrees Virgo (Retrograde) opposing Venus standing at 16 degrees Pisces. The emphasis on the mutable in this chart would indicate a lot of going back and forth on the candidates, with many people waffling at the last minute.

The top 4 candidates would be Clark, Dean, Edwards, and Kerry in alphabetic order.

Each candidate has at least one planet sitting at the 11 degree Gemini Mid-Heaven. Clark with a 10 degree Gemini Uranus and his Moon at 11 degrees Aries sextiles those degrees, he has an opportunity to walk away still feeling like there is a chance for his candidacy, but he won’t walk away with a win. Clark has some work to do in order to stay in the game.

Dean’s Moon is at 10 degrees Gemini conjunct the NH Mid-Heaven, however, Howard Dean’s Mid-Heaven is Pisces ruled by Neptune. At the end of the voting today Mercury, the ruler of both the Ascendant and Mid-Heaven in the NH chart is at 15 degrees Capricorn and squaring Howard Dean’s Neptune. I will say that a few days ago transiting Mercury was sextiling his natal Mercury and trine his Ascendant and that’s when he started his bounce back, also Mercury went over his progressed Jupiter supporting that bounce. His wife was a big help with that “bounce”

Edwards will do better than he thinks and will confuse the media because they don’t know if they like him or not. His Jupiter is 7 degrees Gemini close to the NH voting chart Mid-Heaven. Edwards could end up being the guy voted for because people didn’t know who else to vote for and they want to vote for someone. Pluto is sextiling his Neptune (ruler of his Mid-Heaven) and trining his natal Pluto, this is giving him a power lift for the time being. Time will tell if it stays. Do not count Edwards out, he may still will at the convention by default.

Kerry has the best chance here. His Mars is on the NH voting chart Mid-Heaven at 10 degrees Gemini. Kerry and Edwards have a ton of planets in Gemini putting all that in the NH voting chart 10th house. However, the thing that will create havoc for them both is as time goes on they will seem to flip flop. Gemini’s know what to say to everyone but will say one thing and then the other and seem absolutely sincere, that habit will catch up with them eventually so they are going to have to be careful of their stories. Kerry’s Chiron conjuncts the Ascendant of the NH voting chart and Mercury, the ruler of both the Mid-Heaven and Ascendant is in a trine to Kerry’s Chiron. Kerry had one challenge when Pluto was conjunct his Sun and oppose his Moon and that was prostrate cancer, that challenge or another will plague him this year. Pluto is also squaring his Mid-Heaven and while that doesn’t seem to be giving him problems right now I believe it will when Pluto goes back over that square this summer.

Well it’s ten minutes before the polls close in New Hampshire. We will revisit this state in the fall. I think tonight will see Kerry, Dean or Edwards with be second and third, Clark comes in fourth and Liberman way behind. Kuchinich might be done tonight but look and see to whom he throw his support. Little by little these candidates are beginning to be able to separate themselves from that massive “pack,” and we will be able to more clearly see each one.

For some reason there is a sense that the White House would prefer Kerry as the Dem Candidate, I hope that isn't because Kerry is a Skull and Bones Brother to George Bush.
