The Full Moon name for the Scorpio moon as described by Native Americans as the Mad Moon, the Colonial name was the Snow Moon. Both names aptly describe the attributes of this lunar eclipse.
The new moon on October 25, 2003 loaded the U.S. 11th House with the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Scorpio doing a group hug, okay it was a ménage trios in the Capitol with Tom Delay and Bill Frist, Mercury is talking all about it. We’ve heard for two weeks about the 87 billion dollar blank check given to Bush and his pack of bumbling looters. We have seen abortion rights upended and the Republicans have, through their greed machine, devalued the U. S. dollar. Euro anyone? Now we are sending 100,000 U.S. Marines back to Iraq, rotation not. Our allies can’t pull their troops out fast enough. Global warming has arrived despite Bush’s EPA document editing. Just because you delete it from a report oh Cee student from Yale, does not change the reality. Blonde right? California went up in flames, Southern California that is, Republican style, Ahrnold’s stronghold. Among other revelations preceding this full moon, we have learned that Iraq made overtures to the Pentagon to avert war, saying plainly we have NO Weapons of Mass Destruction. “Not credible enough, stall tactic” says Bush. Bull says the rest of the world, no WMD, Hans Blix says, nope as well. One more time George you sold us the war on WMD and how Iraq was going to blow the snot out of us, not how bad a man Saddam is, bad rulers are rampant, look in the mirror bucko. The people of Iraq have no rights to privacy. We bust in their homes at will, terrorizing women and children. Reminds me of the great Indian Wars when the US Army slaughtered Native American women and children while the warriors were away, oh it’s the Israelis that do that now. George’s latest bit of sound byte flimflam with the barbaric torture of prisoners appears no different then other Islamic Nations, we are just more civilized, we use gas chambers and hangman’s nooses, firing squads, and who knows what atrocities are foisted on the prisoners at Gitmo, get it, it’s not on American soil, thus our rules don’t apply to Rummy in his realm with Ashcroft continuing to horrify Lady Justice. I am far more horrified by George Bush’s actions, then Islamic or Judaic Law.
Revelations continued to pour out while the New Moon waxed full. The Arctic and Antarctic Ice Shelves are melting, nearly as fast as the wicked Witch of the West when Dorothy doused her. This is raising an alarm within the scientific community. Their concerns are heightened over the oceanic currents being altered, thus plunging our modern world into an ice age, we thought our weather was extreme already. Gads and we can’t forget the latest Solar Flare, bigger, badder, and faster and whacked our planet and its protective stratospheres in record time. That is sure a spitting Scorpio Sun!
While the Moon waxes full a Water Trine and Earth Trine are interlocking like the Star of David, or the symbol for the Anahata Chakra, and enclosed within a complete set of sextiles. The Water Trine in play has transiting Mars in Pisces trine the Ascendant and Saturn in Cancer, the Sun in Scorpio trines both Mars and Saturn in Cancer. Sounds rather malefic to me, down right deadly. Saturn conjuncts the U. S. Sun and trines the transiting Sun, thus our feckless leader is the focus of all this attention.
The Earth trines involve the Full Moon in Taurus, Jupiter in Virgo, and Chiron in Capricorn in the U.S. 9th House, the U. S. 1st House and the U.S. 5th House. Whoopie Goldberg’s new show is a stellar example of the Moon in the 5th. She drives home all of Bush’s failings to the People, she exposes the chicanery and the flimflam man’s ruse, bold, gutsy, Hollywood style. Now with Jupiter in the U.S. 9th House, Virgo, the Halls of Justice echo with the feet of the People, will Law prevail? Add Chiron in Capricorn and have the hurtin’ and healin’ energies involving the Nation’s People. This destruction and healing process is like a cancer that is cleaned out so the process of regeneration can begin.
While George continues his march of carnage the world will be intoning for peace during The Harmonic Concordance. Since I’m not real big on chanting I look to the energies available to the People with the transiting Full Moon, eclipsed (let’s just add some punch and chaos) at 16 Taurus in the 5th House, the Sun 16 Scorpio in the 11th House, it slaps you in the face how strongly the Sun holds the House and Senate. Grass roots movements on the federal level based locally. In short, dump these carpetbaggers from office. Texas needs to lead the way. To change the pResidency the rats infesting the Capitol building need to follow his piping song into the Potomac. When the People remove their support for these bought an paid for politicians, (none of which deserved a raise), and we boycott the companies which support the Bush Regime incumbency, then Georgie boy gets stopped cold in his bloody tracks. The People must clean house, starting in the 11th ! State by State, District by District, the responsibility for our governments’ shameful deceptions belongs to its People, you and me.
One last thought, Jim Sawvan’s article posted earlier is well done, well supported astrologicaly, it is this coming full moon in December on the 8th that bears paying greater attention to including a look at House Speaker Hastert. This moon, the lunar eclipse is just adding to the combustibility coming down the pipe.
