So America what are we harvesting? "We the People", the Moon.
From Dane Rudhyar, Pisces 18, the Sabian Symbol is; "In a gigantic tent, villagers witness a spectacular performance.
Keynote: The collective appeal of a well staged and exciting display of skill and/or oratory.
At first, Marc Jones interpreted the "gigantic tent" as the locale for a revivalist's meeting; later he suggested a circus tent instead. In a sense, the basic meaning is the same. Whether it is the traditional performance of skilled clowns or animal trainers, or that of a religious fundamentalist dramatizing an old religious imagery, what takes place is the use of personal achievement and conviction to bring a crowd to a state of enthusiasm sufficient to make it forget it's boredom with everyday routine or its familiar sins of commission or omission.
At the Third Stage of the seventieth five-fold sequence, the individual person and the collectivity are brought together in a significant performance which subtly strengthens the communal spirit directly or indirectly. The implication of the symbol, whenever it is found operating, is that the time has come for the individual to dare to present himself and his works to his community for applause, or for the purpose of attracting a following. What is suggested is PUBLIC SELF-DRAMATIZATION."
We are in that tent, whether it's the circus in California or the one in Washington all our eyes are riveted watching the multiplicity of events going on in the various arenas. Also included in this imagery is that of a religious fundamentalist dramatizing an old religion imagery. Pick one, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and the varied political parties associated with each. More whacko's than we can keep track of, and that's just in America let alone the MiddleEast! Doesn't this symbology just paint a picture of our world today?
We are watching history, we are participating in the creation of a new America. This brings to mind everything from "The Rainmaker" to Cirque de Soleil, leading us even further back in collective memory to the Roman Colliseum, finally into the halls of Caesar's Senate and in the dark corridors hidden within the Vatican. So sitting securely with our soda's and popcorn we watch, we read, and we are speaking out against the tyranny within our own country.
It's like the Press has a 'do over' here transiting the U.S. natal Third House, Mars and Uranus retrograde, Uranus 0 degrees Pisces and Mars at 1 degree Pisces. It appears that the press is making up for not asking the tough questions of the Bush Regime and are holding their feet to the flames in both the Executive and Congressional arms of government. Looks like the Supreme inJustices are wrangling over campaign financing McCain/Feingold. Ought they not to be looking at the purging of 'so called' felons by the thousands in Florida during the 2000 election which is obscene. Cruella's reward (Katherine Harris) a cushy Congressional seat, there's a cell with her number on it when Justice prevails.
The two stepping Uranus/Mars in Pisces is forming a couple of nasty triggers with the U. S. Midheaven, the office of the pResident. Both these planets form an inconjunct with our MC, whilst the natal Saturn in the same house is getting a full dose of Uranus sudden destruction be it the world or Someone's latest scheme. The whole world is watching, front row seats. The pressure is building on the president from these two aspects and a little old sesquiquadrate between the U.S. natal Saturn in the 10th House and our really nasty Uranus. Let's not forget transiting Saturn is affecting the U.S. natal Sun and we can see it's effects beginning to manifest in the Presidents visage. Also note transiting Saturn makes an inconjunct to the US Ascendent, expect a lesson from this task master.
The transiting Moon will make an exact opposition with the U.S. natal Neptune in the 9th which has transiting Venus conjoined to it as well. The obvious decadent behavior by the U.S, a mentality governed by oil and greed will be highlighted and all those crooked contracts and cooked books. This is all magnified with the effects of the Virgoan stellium with the transiting Sun, Venus, Jupiter and retro Mercury.
