Instead of killing the Civil Rights Movement, as was intended, Evers death energized the movement and two months later Dr. Martin Luther King gave his famous “I have a dream” speech. Governor George Wallace a Democrat became the force behind the “Dixiecrats” who helped Ronald Regan become elected in 1980.

On June 11, 1963, when so much was beginning, Mars at 4 degrees Virgo had just passed a conjunction to Uranus at 1 degree Virgo and Pluto at 9 degrees Virgo was in an exact square to the US Uranus in Gemini.

Today, Mars and Uranus are in Pisces opposing those degrees, and together black and white stood in support of Chief Justice Roy Moore attempt to stop The Ten Commandments from being removed from an Alabama State Courthouse. Not as passionate a group as the one in 1963, but equally as misguided, equally as sure they have the “only” answer to salvation and what God wants for America. Their efforts have also been to no avail, just as it was in 1963 with George Wallace symbolically standing on those steps.

The Ten Commandments were removed from the courthouse and America will be forced into the dialogue of whether “ALL men are created equal.” Not just black or white men, not just women, but ALL, no matter their “race, religion or creed.” By the way, a little over five months later John Fitzgerald Kennedy was murdered by someone who did not like his policies.

At the time of JFK's death, Mercury was in Sagittarius and Uranus in Virgo in a square and opposition to the US Uranus in Gemini, and the June 11, 1963 Pluto station, his death was a message to “the people.” Today with Mars in Pisces and in opposition to the 1963 Mars, Uranus and Pluto conjunctions, another attempt is being made to make sure we understand what “all men created equal” means.

While June 1963 was spelling out the “fall” of segregation Aug. 2003, could be spelling the fall of Christian “fundamentalism.” As Mars retrogrades and then comes back over its “shadow” degrees, Judge Roy (Bean) Moore isn’t done, but the “seeds” of the ending are there, already in place, and GWB’s natal Mars, conjuncting the 1963 Pluto falls right into this trap. I would love to know Judge Roy’s birth date, can’t find it anywhere. But he is a “media hog” that’s for sure, and I just bet ‘ole’ Roy is taking a page from Governor Wallace’s playbook and is angling to run for Governor himself.

In the summer of ’03 we find ourselves here under the Big Top, distracted and watching (or trying to watch) the mired arenas of activity. “Oh wow look there at the power outage, how about watching Iraq for awhile, there are bombs going off everyday. The entire Middle East is quite an angry show right now. no, no watch California’s flashy show. Over there, over there, Ashcroft and Karl Rove are lighting up. And what’s that in the corner, the British are battling Blair, plus the US is close to being brought into Blair’s mud.”

But you say, the Center Arena seems dark, no lights at all. Where is George Bush, why haven’t we heard from him? That is troubling. As many journalists have noticed when GWB steps out of the ring every August, bad things happen in September when he takes the Center Ring again, ready to “cannibalize” his fellow man. Saturn hitting his Natal, Pre-Natal and Draconic Chart he is going to find us a little tougher to chew.

George Bush’s pre-natal epoch (which I have found to be the most useful in predictive work) begins on September 30, 1945 at 7:41 am in New Haven, Conn. (New Haven is my guess on his conception because that’s where he was born) In that Chart George has Mercury at 5 degrees Libra, Sun and Neptune at 6 degrees Libra, Jupiter at 7 Libra and Chiron at 9 Libra all in the 12th house.

This explains his life long addictive problem and his exchanging alcohol addiction to “religious” addiction (or both) The Ascendant is 16 Libra (with his Natal Jupiter conjunct) The Mid-Heaven is 19 Cancer and Saturn is in the 10 house at 23 Cancer (whoops, Karmic fall when Saturn arrives) The most interesting aspect is the pre-natal Mars is at 12 degrees Cancer in the 9th house conjuncting his natal Sun (Mars conjunct Sun can indicate being “your own worst enemy”)

That conjunction in the 9th house with his natal Sun also falling in the 9th would mean that George intends to “ram” his zealotry down the people’s throats, here and abroad and we are now back to the symbolism of the Ten Commandments being removed. Again, Saturn in conjunction to his Sun would indicate that at least, the people abroad won't like it, including Israel.

The pre-natal North Node is at 4 degrees Cancer and on George’s Solar Return Saturn was conjuncting that North Node signaling a change in his direction. Saturn moved on to square pre-natal Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Jupiter, and Chiron and will transverse back over Chiron emphasizing a wounding for him. In the Solar Return of his pre-natal chart Saturn will conjunct pre-natal Mars exactly. Frustrated action, as he seems more and more out of touch with the American people. His response to that frustrated action will be an application of more restriction.

There will be periods or spurts of popularity for George, or slight surges in the polls, however the bottom line is, “the day is done” for him, it doesn’t make any difference how long that takes. Even if he is re-elected for a second term, I agree with Claudia Dikinis, he won’t be there long. The Universe will take all the time they need to make their case. Remember, nearly 100 years of growing fascism is being cleaned up, not just this administration and not just the Bushes, but the clean up won’t even begin until a new energy steps up to be a new kind of leader. I don’t think that person has arrived as yet.

The other thing to watch for is Neptune, while Neptune has been “greasing the skids” for him, so to speak, Neptune is moving away from the oppositions to his natal chart and when the election rolls around, Saturn is in it’s second return for George and Neptune will inconjunct his Sun. Have you ever had the experience of being left "holding the bag" when Neptune passed by? Well I have and so will George. Saturn in Cancer is in it’s detriment and the Sun is in it’s fall. These are not good placements for him. Neptune rules the 12th house and the inconjunct could send him the message of “get outta my house.”

If you can stand it, listen to GWB carefully, he will unconsciously reveal this administrations intentions over the next several months. Pluto will be opposing his Uranus and his pre-natal Solar Return Mercury in Virgo (squaring his Uranus) He drops "bombs" in his little speeches and that will continue this year.

This week marks the beginning of a very difficult period of time for George and for his Administration as the Red Planet Mars on its closest pass to earth, will be inconjuncting his Ascendant and then turning around to oppose his Mars It will be and is a verrrrrrry long time between now and election 04, and they will feel nearly everyday. It will be a “wounded nation” by the time 2005 Inauguration rolls around for whoever steps into the “bully pulpit.”

There is a 9 degree Moon in Gemini which conjuncts the US 9 degree Uranus, Uranus coming to the first Uranian return when the Civil War started, another Uranus Return during WWII. Every major upheaval in this country had an aspect to that 9 degrees Gemini. And remember the May 31st Eclipse at 9 degree Gemini? See a pattern?

What is it that we think this is all about? Do we think this is about random actions by mean-spirited people who get into power from time to time? No this is about a cultural war that has been fought here since the Revolution. It doesn’t matter whether the fights and wars are over cotton, slaves, manufacturing, oil, or corporations, because it is always over the culture of this country and what that culture will reflect. Will it be democracy and the people who rule and govern or will it be the elite?

Based on our past history, it will be the people who win because the US Moon is in Aquarius and that’s ruled by Uranus, and Uranus keeps stirring things up when we get too complacent. We may not win big victories but enough to keep us on our toes, enough to remind us what we should be appreciating. Things like freedom, prosperity for all, the universal needs of the world and that we belong to the race of humankind.

CALIFORNIA

All I can say about California’s “circus arena” is, if there is a chance that Mexico and California Hispanics can “boost” Bustamante into the Governorship they will do so. Mexico signed over California to the US Government for $15,000,000 on Feb. 2, 1848 with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Bustamante’s Chart (January 4, 1953) and the chart of that Treaty fit like a hand and a glove. Mexico, at least for a time, will try to take California back. At the rate George Bush is handling things I am wondering if the entire US won’t ultimately be split apart into separate territories, just like we started. GWB’s Mars does square that 9 Gemini degree Uranus making a link of a constant feeding tube of upheaval from George to us.

IRAQ

Mess, that’s a good word for this boondoggle. This war started in a mess and lies. The US had been bombing targets in Iraq for a year before they “came out of the closet” and declared war. Then they declared war on some of the worst aspects, with Uranus opposing their natal Pluto and both of them squaring the NN of the war. The only thing that is stopping this administration from dropping a nuclear bomb on this country is their fear of destroying the oil. Pluto turns direct today and it will move toward conjunction with Iraq’s Saturn at 20 degrees Sagittarius and oppose Iraq’s Venus at 20 Gemini. With Uranus, Pluto and NN aspect in play over this next year, those mentally disturbed civilians in the Pentagon just might drop a nuclear weapon on the Iraqi’s. This group isn’t the best in grasping unintended consequences to their actions.

HOME

And what of the “home front?” We know what George is doing to this country, there have been a virtual laundry list of impeachable offences since he took office, so when will there be a crackdown on this gang of criminals? Based on the aspects I believe it might be coming soon. This dam is leaking not just drips and drops but little streams are trickling. The media will have another opportunity to actually be the “third estate” when Uranus retrogrades back over the US third house Aquarian Moon this fall and early winter before taking up permanent residence in Pisces.

HILLARY

Will she, won’t she? There are meetings the first of September, with her advisors, to determine just that question. Actually hubby Bill hinted as much at a class he taught at Arkansas University when he said “that he did not declare his candidacy until Oct. of 1991.” Of all the possible candidates, Hillary has some of the best aspects for Election 2004, she also has some difficult aspects for this run. Does she feel that someplace inside, that this is her time, her opportunity? She and her husband know and understand the pitfalls of this race better than anyone else, they are not operating under any illusions, except perhaps the illusion that if she ran and won they would let her live.

Taking the 8:00pm as her birthtime, she has 2 degrees Pisces as her Mid-heaven Transiting Uranus is at 2 degrees Pisces on Election night in a trine to her Sun. Her progressed Venus and Solar Arc Jupiter are in conjunction to the US Pluto, although transiting Saturn will be squaring Transiting South Node is also conjuncting her Sun (something owed to her that is brought back)

Hillary can be ruthless (Mars conjunct her Pluto in her Natal Chart), and ruthlessness comes toward her (Sun oppose Pluto in her Pre-Natal Chart) Saturn however has lumbered its way out of her 12th house into her 1st, trining all that Scorpio and her mid-heaven, she's in a mood to test her muscles.

Her daughter will be in favor of this, at least supportive, and Bill will see it as an extension of his left in limbo legacy. I am getting a chuckle over the fact that whether she runs or not the Republicans will have their panties in a bunch over the thought.

The US Solar Arc Moon is in conjunction to her Neptune and her Progressed Sun will be in a Sextile to Uranus, there are possibilities of Hillary being in the White House again.

Hillary was at our local bookstore "The Tattered Cover" a while back and there was a huge, crushing crowd awaiting her. They roared when she came in, you could almost hear them shouting "come on Seabiscuit."
