They say that everyone loves a winner, and to make money you must seem to have money. We are reminded of this every time one of his ads “pop-up” on our computer screen. Can a man who controls the Supreme Court, the Congress, the media, and the corporations be brought down in a year and a half? It would seem that while we, the people, are hurling stones at the present situation, they are throwing boulders back at us. So is our fight with Bush or with money. Is there even a two party system anymore? Almost all of Congress is worth over a million dollars; there isn’t any “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” at this point in history, let’s be honest, the Robber Barons have taken complete control. The middle class is losing ground fast.

The money the Republicans are now raking in is being used to not only elevate but to destroy, causing the Democrats to split their resources in order to “win” and then “survive.” http://www.suntimes.com/output/orourke/cst-edt-rour29.html Thus far the people have not made the connection to their hard tines and the obscene amounts of currency from the “elite” which rolls into the Republican coffers.

That’s the bad news, the good news is this has happened before in history and the “money” lost out. This administration is wildly spinning out of control, a twirling dervish, like a drunk who believes they can drive a straight line. Let me again remind you of the quote “those whom the gods would destroy, they first elevate.”

Morgana very succinctly and concisely summed up the New Moon. To briefly recap, it was Void of Course. Oh Dear! It wasn’t simply VOC it was also conjunct the last Solar Eclipse before GWB was born. In fact his "birth eclipse" was only one of two Solar Eclipse this century at 7 degrees Cancer (the other was in 1908) And the Fixed Star Alhena sits directly upon that 7 degree Cancer, a bright star, thought to confer honor, love of ease and pleasure. It has also been thought that like Calgon, it will take all those things away from those who misuse the energy. And another “oh dear” Saturn will be going over that 7 degrees of Cancer, and that is thought to produces losses. This is not tallying up to a pleasant vacation in Crawford next month. Adding to this “witches brew,” will be Mars and Saturn in Perihelion (squaring GWB Neptune) and Mercury Out of Bounds (lots of information coming our way and we need to pay close attention.

The collective mind is an interesting piece of work; the most amazing things come out of it in the most amazing ways. Ann Coulter has recently written a book about the nostalgia for the McCarthy years and how he was misunderstood and was a really decent guy with the best interests of the country in his heart. Actually, the content of the book is unimportant, the title however tells us a lot about the collective mind. The title of her book is TREASON! In the last two weeks, the word “treason” in regard to GWB has been used along with the word “impeach,” and “war criminal.” Put that one aside and save it for a rainy day, because the day is coming. Even if George wins again (and I wouldn’t bet on it yet) Claudia Dikinis reminds me that the Inauguration of 2005 would indicate he wouldn’t be there long.

Mars will soon square the US Uranus and will do so more than once making its last square in November and at the same time squaring the 9 degree Gemini Solar Eclipse from May 2003. Looks like we are in for a few more shocks from this White House, as Mars will also oppose GWB’s Mars and Progressed Sun. Do we dare hope to have a national epiphany?

Right now America has become reactionary as we desperately try to adjust from one shock to another, this new moon has the potential for the energy to shift as we slowly (Saturn produces a slow reaction) turn our attention to the obscenity of “money vs. poverty.”

The New Moon of June is at 7 degrees Cancer in the 9th house, we are looking for nurturing, caring, and a return to “the good ole days,” of ice cream socials, wide verandas, and the lazy hazy days of summer. The Moon just passed over Saturn, and Saturn is conjunct the US Venus and Mars is in a slow amble through Pisces, conserving his energy as he moves closer and closer to earth, bubbling up trouble someplace. Pisces is associated with water, oil and also rules the feet. Do we interpret this to mean we will be slogging through water, our foundations are flooded, or will we just be walking more and driving less as the “oil” situation doesn’t work our as planned and gas is too high for short trips. Saturn in Cancer in a trine to Uranus in Pisces gives the people the opportunity to think not only about their safety and security but the safety of others.

Mars in a trine to the US Venus gives us a little promise of a more stable financial market, however once Mars passes the trine to Venus completely in Oct. 2003 and Saturn still opposes our 2nd house I expect we will begin to see the problems in the housing market (our base) surface like slime rising to the top. There is right now billions to be lost in bad second and third mortgages, remember the Savings and Loan Scandals. Hmmmm, another Bush scam.

I am told by my friends in the mortgage industry that the industry is on the verge of falling now and there will be tons of people holding the bag when it goes.

It’s been my observation and experience that the longer a transit goes on the more worn out we get. The focus has been on Saturn hitting the USA and GWB Sun and it does indeed do all that. However, before it gets to his second Saturn Return next year, it will also square his Neptune, Chiron, Moon, and Jupiter, THEN it hits his Saturn Return. Mars moving into Aries in late December promises the New Year to be very difficult for him. Difficult and dangerous. You can also count on that Cancer/Libra feeling very sensitive to slights, snapping and blaming everyone in his sight. Political pundits say GWB cannot be beaten, we forget how fast public opinion can shift in this country.

I have recently had Saturn square my Neptune and Moon and I can tell you that I am super sensitive and very low energy. I am certain that no one loves me and I'm not sure I love anyone else. All that and I don't have a public "Leo" Ascendant that needs to attack when I am wounded.

Blair will not survive, he will either have to resign or be thrown out by his own party, and I believe the end of his term with either come this November, or in the summer of 2004. For his own safety, he would be better served if he steps down in the fall. And the next PM will not want to be seen as George’s lap dog. Nightline had a program with the British stating the US should not count on their support for any other program involving military action that this administration might have in mind, including Iran, Syria and North Korea. Blair is trying to make a friend out of Putin and he needs all the friends he can muster right now.

Karl Rove’s dark night of the soul has begun as well as Rumsfeld and Powell. Rumsfeld will have to answer for “no can find WMD’s” and Powell will have to answer for Israel.

Iraq is a mess and getting worse everyday Mars AND Uranus are opposing Iraq’s Pluto, and Pluto will win this war. Paul Bremer (the Presidential Envoy to Iraq) said in a BBC interview that if necessary “we will come down hard on the people of Iraq.” Looks like the government’s refrain to Iraq will be “You Don’t Send Me Flowers Anymore.”

The people of Iraq hate us and will be doing all they can to get us out of there and it won’t be long before the US Army will see the necessity for moving on. The presidency that has been so desperate to “save face” in all situations will find it an impossible task. Are you chuckling Bill Clinton?

We as a nation, in fact most cultures have seen money as our “god” and people with money as “godly.” Uranus goes back to Aquarius and gives the US Moon, progressed Sun and progressed Mercury one last shot, and gives the people of this country another turn at revolution. Another turn at making the democracy started over 200 years ago, a reality.

CANDIDATE UPDATES

The last person from Arkansas who was running for President, waited until October of 1991 to announce his intentions. Wesley Clark is the most recent Son of Arkansas who is reported to be thinking about running, but has not announced and says very little about it, neither “yea nor nay.” His birthday is 12.23.1944, Little Rock, Arkansas. His second Saturn Return comes up this summer and I don’t expect to hear from him regarding his objectives until this fall. When Bush came to office he was likened to McKinley (and he’s more like McKinley than he realizes) McKinley’s progressed planets were almost exactly GWB’s natal planets when Bush was handed the election.

Armed with that knowledge and the knowledge that the same energy just keeps swirling around earth, McKinley served one term and was assassinated six months into his second term (2nd term Inauguration on 3/4/1901, died 09/14/1901.) If the McKinley energy were around to finish out that second term, GWB would serve 3 years six months of his term or only serve six months of the next. In which case we would be looking for a Teddy Roosevelt and actually Al Gore is the only candidate to fit that bill. Will Gore be lured back for another go around? Hard to tell, but I don’t think he has said he wouldn’t accept a draft. Don’t count Gore out. You can also expect the Republicans to start coming down hard on Dean and will pull out all the stops to discredit him, remember what they did to McCain.

Ralph Nadar is considering another run. His own dreams of ruling the world (Pluto square Jupiter) will be dimmed when Saturn conjuncts his Pluto and squares his Jupiter. At the last election (if you remember) Mercury was retrograde and VOC, and Ralph did throw a monkey wrench into the pot. Ralph has always had dreams of bringing down the “big guys,” unfortunately he didn’t bring down the bullies. I’m thinking that a couple of the players of the last election might be back and with the same results, Ralph doesn’t bring down the bullies, he just gives them another leg up, without raising anyone consciousness.

PS I have always said that I am a person who feels sorry for the underdog, and when I felt sorry for Bush he was in big big trouble nationally. I'm not quite there, but last week I did have one or two moments of feeling sympathy for him. Well maybe not "moments" but a second or two. This is good news.
