Mememememe, pick ME. The voice you are hearing is Kim Jong Il. Kim has his progressed Jupiter at 18/19 degrees Gemini and transiting Pluto is right on top (opposite) of it. Kim wants to be King, even if it is King of the Axis of Evil. It might not be the best idea right now to ignore him. As George Bush is slobbering for war in Iraq, Kim is slobbering for war with the US. Kim sports a Sun/Uranus square from Aquarius to Taurus and this weekend the Leo Full Moon sets that square off. A Sun/Uranus can make a very nervous person; it’s easy for them to “go off.”
Kim Jong’s natal Moon is at 9 degrees Pisces, directly across from GWB and they hate each other, playing off each other’s insecurities. His Chiron is at 10 Leo, directly conjunct GWB’s Pluto. When Chiron conjuncts another person’s planet, in this case George’s Pluto (his power), the Chiron person is able to zone right in those “power” walls and bring them tumbling down. If George isn’t afraid of Kim now, that could soon change with transiting Jupiter conjuncting the Pluto and Chiron and Neptune in opposition. Just as there is a Karmic issue with Iraq, there is a Karmic issue with North Korea.
The official US involvement in Korea (and I emphasize official) began on June 27, 1950, when President Truman announced that the US would intervene in the fight between North and South Korea. Guess where Mercury the messenger of good or bad news was - guess. It stood at 18/19 degrees Gemini. Wow. Saturn was, guess again, in Virgo ready to conjunct the US Neptune and square Mars. There were a lot of lies around the Korean “Police Action” and we suffered some humiliating defeats there, and a million broken promises. Whenever Saturn has stressfully aspected the US Mars/Neptune square, America and her government has been under attack in some way and humiliated. And here we are, with North Korea coming around the bend for closure to the “police action” in the 1950’s.
Just like his counterpart, George W. Bush who is acting out his father’s war, Kim Jong II wants to replay the same song his daddy played. This is a problem handing power from the daddies to the sons; they don’t seem to live their own lives and they seem consumed with deep-seated fears, insecurities and psychosis. This must be the reason the biblical writers of old said, “The sins of the father are visited upon the sons.”
In Gulf War the 1st. George Bush, Sr. authorized bombing (with Congressional support) on January 1st 1990. There were six planets in Capricorn (that’s a prescription for passing the war onto the Son), and Mars was in Sagittarius at, you guessed it, 19/20 degrees. Chiron was at 12 degrees Cancer opposed by Neptune, in aspect to GWB’s Sun. The Gulf War Sun opposed GWB’s Saturn, and his father’s relationship with him at that time hardened George did not see the war clearly and he idealized his father’s role. At a very deep level he identified his ego with the Gulf War, all in a cloud of illusion, and doesn’t see to this day how the whole identification wounded him and it is wounding the US,
The real fun however is to take a good look at Saddam (April 28th, 1937 – 4:05am in Tikrit, Iraq). The absolute main aspect to look at is Saddam’s Pluto, which is in Cancer conjunct GWB’s Saturn, which is opposing Saddam’s Jupiter in Capricorn.
What is Saddam doing? We haven’t heard much from him. He’s given one news conference that was calm in its delivery. He didn’t subject the interviewer to the shrill voice of anger and posturing. No real defense, no pointing fingers. I have an image of him leaning back in his chair cleaning his fingernails. Saddam’s chart shows some stress, but not nearly the kind of stress and potential for mania that we see in Bush and Jong. His Chiron is on top of Bush’s Uranus and North Node, (read the above about Chiron on someone’s planets). Saddam could be pulling George’s insanity and instability out for the world to see, inflicting, if nothing else, some emotional pain. He did it for George’s father, as his Chiron fell on Sr.’s Sun, he can do it for George JR. too. Saddam appears sort of like the guy eating a sandwich in one hand while holding off the rabid dog with the other.
GWB may ostensibly be going after the oil, but it isn’t oil that is pushing him to alienate the rest of the world; on a much deeper lever, this is a revenge fight. George is trying to show the world that he “rules,” and the harder he tries to prove he isn’t his “daddy” the more he looks like his “daddy.” Saddam, with his Pluto opposite his Jupiter, has a great arrogance, and he knows he rules. Whether he lives or dies, he is quite confident of himself. His Jupiter is conjunct the US Pluto (big money) and his natal Pluto is opposing that; he has truly “sucked” a ton of money out of the US.
Saddam’s Mercury is in a trine to that Jupiter and Pluto, unlike the Mercury/Pluto conjunction in GWB’s chart where Bush has something to prove and by God he’s going to prove it, Saddam doesn’t, and is more adept at handling manipulation.
Astrologically, Kim Jong Il, the other “daddy’s boy,” is a much bigger threat over the next few weeks to the US than either Saddam or Osama. Either GWB is completely inept, as well as his advisors, or he has a deep and treacherous agenda. We in the United States and around much of the world exist to support our leaders no matter how dark and evil.
That attitude needs an adjustment.
I don’t care if Europe has to kick, drag, push, pull George Bush to some serious talks with North Korea, they need to do that right away. Several months ago conservative and liberal political analysts were whispering their concerns regarding the US Foreign Policy, now they are screaming of the dangers. While we are all looking toward Saddam, it’s Kim Jong Il who needs immediate attention, or we are in deep trouble, and we don’t have to be in deep trouble.
