THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE
IS IT REAL OR IS IT ILLUSION In his 1987 book entitled Synchronicity: The Bridge Between Matter and Mind, Dr. F. David Peat, a physicist at Queen’s University in Canada, asserted that synchronicities (coincidences that are so unusual and so psychologically meaningful they don’t seem to be the result of chance alone) can be explained by the holographic model. Peat believes such coincidences are actually “flaws in the fabric of reality.” They reveal that our thought processes are much more intimately connected to the physical world than had been previously suspected. I don’t know if all who read these pages see the implicate and explicate order of the Universe the same way I do, I believe there are quite a few who do. For those who don’t my analogies might be a bit confusing. I have found in my experience, that there are signs and omens to what is happening in the world today and how the patterns all fit together. I see days of irritation and arguments all around with an ending of the day in the middle of a thunderstorm, as energies build and then culminate. In my study of quantum physics I don’t see any real boundaries between people or what we call heaven and earth or good and evil. My work with the dying has taught me the same things as physics. Different experiences, different signs all point to the same direction and if we carefully watch we can know the outcome to any issue any problem. It’s quite amazing. Books often present an interesting window into the future, what comes out of the collective mind is astonishing. A good example is the book “Titanium” written years before the Titanic sunk and yet the book describes down to the smallest detail this ship that sunk a decade later. It was so accurate that the police interviewed the author of Titanium to see if he actually knew anything about the Titanic. The outcome of our present world wide problems, I believe lies in the imagination and subconscious of J.K Rowling and her Harry Potter series. No, this isn’t a “spoiler” to the book, I haven’t read the much awaited 7th book “Deathly Hallows,” and the outcome to that particular book isn’t of any consequence at this time. I read a ton of historical fiction and non-fiction, one always knows how history ends, but knowing the ending never destroys the information for me nor the pleasure of the read. I do however wish to trace Harry Potter and the ultimate message for the US. Harry has a message for the entire world to be sure, but there is a specific message for us. The first book “The Sorcerers Stone” sprang to life on June 30, 1997 12:00 am, London, England. There of course wasn’t the hype around the first like there is today, that increased and was built up over time, ten years to be exact. Uranus from that first book was at 7 degrees Aquarius, right on the US SN and Mercury at 13 Cancer was on the US Sun bringing a message, and the Sun had just passed a conjunction to the US Jupiter. Jupiter itself, in that 1st of series chart was at 21 Aquarius and in the 12th house with Uranus; the 12th house activity rightly describes a story that isn’t completely told. The books introduction to the world June 1997 coincided with the beginning of the Clinton/Lewinsky problems that ultimately led to his impeachment, well partial impeachment (the Senate did not concur with the House) and we were introduced to an array of characters in the government who are not what they seem, just as Harry was introduced to characters that shifted and changed over the course of his adventures. In the “Sorcerers Stone” after Hagrid plucked Harry out of his family mess and helped get him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin his education as a wizard, so were we plucked out of what we had known as reality in this country to begin our education of what is real and what is an illusion; we have been as confused as Harry ever since. In the beginning Harry pleaded with the Sorting Hat to place him in the House of Griffindore, known for their courage instead of Slytherin known for the cunning and wizard skills. The Sorting Hat honored Harry’s choice of Griffindore and the book set the tone for the series; Harry’s life as a wizard would be one of choice. Just as the lives of Americans would be one of choice. Through the series it seemed to parallel this country. There was, of course, “he who could not be named” Voldemort! He is the darkest of the dark lords, a schemer, a traitor, a liar, a torturer, and all things vile in this world. We have had our own Voldemort, in fact more than one, and they, like Voldemort have seemed protected as he slashed through the wizard world by magic, escaping over and over what should have been his demise, just as we have experienced the same kind of darkness. Year after year, book after book things became worse for Harry and his friends, worse for Hogwarts, worse for America. Harry and his friends became stronger as things became worse, they begin to see their own power to affect the events around them, haven’t we become stronger, haven’t we begun learning of our own power to affect events around us? I say we have. The first book began when the North Node was in Virgo, and it’s ending with the North Node in Pisces, a half circle around the zodiac. The Sun in the final chart is exactly opposite the US Pluto, Sun oppose Pluto indicating some type of fanaticism, and we did see that in the US over this book, including protests against the book and protests in the Middle East against the US. The first book release had Jupiter at 21 Aquarius and the Saturn/Neptune opposition set that off, leaving us to wonder in our own lives what is real and what is illusion. Harry Potter aside, one can feel the power of the people beginning to rise against our own Voldemorts with the GOP beginning to react to the Saturn/Neptune opposition and seeing the real issue there with the war. The very fact that there is a debate over the validity of a war that has no validity couldn’t be more ridiculous and some are beginning to realize that fact. One of our sometimes posters “M” thinks we should demand that Congress convene in Baghdad until they come up with a solution. She figures it wouldn’t take them too long. Impeachment of both Bush and Cheney are being openly discussed by recognized constitutional experts and the most powerful expert is a Republican. The White House is finding themselves cut off from the rest of the world as surely as Hogwarts find themselves cut off. The appearance of the ownership of business, the media, their own Death Squads will eventually be shown as illusions as Saturn makes his way into an opposition to Uranus, and then Saturn to a square to Pluto. Oh to be sure there will be havoc wrecked upon the world, but there is a plan. The necessity of this experience and what’s ahead is to chop off the head of the hydra that has made life miserable for all, so all can see how they have been used and abused for hundreds of years. That’s what this is all about. We are not at the ending; we are at the beginning of the work the powerful outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) have been molding. This is just another sign of the coming fall due to a belief in money and power able to rule all things. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2a735dd0-3873-11dc-bca9-0000779fd2ac.html And for all you Harry Potter fans, the ascendant of the release of Book 7 is 0 Taurus and Uranus is in the 13th House in a sextile to Mars in the 1st, there will be another installment in a few years, a new direction. Ms. Rawlings may think she’s finished but I don’t believe she is.

BRILLIANT! Posted by: M. on July 23, 2007 06:57 AMHow's this for an example of synchronicity? Anyway to the synchronicity. I hardly read anymore because those who are posting such garbage behave like Jr HS students and is not helpful. These are the leaders of the movement? Just an odd little synchronicity to add into the mix. I was sitting at work last week, feeling a tad bit depressed about financial stuff and the fact that I'm working at a South Node in 9th House kind of job, and I decided to let my consciousness drift a little bit into the astral, as it were. And do you know an owl and an eagle flew into my consciousness?! I'm 43 years old. And I finally got my owl. And I'm crying as I type these words. Btw, I took Friday off, shifted my schedule around so I would be able to read the whole book cover to cover from 12:30 a.m. to 9:09 a.m. on 7/21/07. Yippee skippee! It's my favorite of the series, and interestingly I had a corresponding thought about the entire series as I finished it. Molto graz'. There is something climatic happening, a tide turning event that so many are intuiting -- because we are connected. Yet, it is not all negative. Harder because, while they are still capable of inflicting much harm, their days are numbered, just as the days of the glory of the US were numbered when Bush took office. The US, indeed the world still have a long fight ahead against the modern day's concept by multi-nationals and elites of the feudal system. That's on the wane as well, it will still take several years to accomplish but I can't help but feel that the feudal system is on it's way out, too many problems for them. Thanks, QOP. Sigh. Posted by: shylurker on July 26, 2007 05:41 AMHi folks. My name is Dave. I used to post here a lot back in 2002, 2003, and 2004. I haven't gone away entirely, though I have drifted a bit. Some of you may remember that I'm originally from Dallas. I moved to DC in January and am working here now for a progressive non-profit that is regularly in the news. I won't say more than that to protect my identity. I am writing to you today because I want to pose a question that has been on my mind for a number of months. Really though, the thought has been percolating for several years. Sally's post about the Holographic Universe and exercising our own personal power to bring about change really got me thinking. It got me thinking about the larger Aquarian community, we being the pioneers of the Age of Aquarius, and our ability to affect change. I recently participated in the Sparking the Grid event, in my own way, and it was a deeply meaningful experience. But I couldn't help but wonder if a few momements of meditation and visioning is the best we can do. For tens of millions of people all over the world to meditate at the same time is truly an remarkable feat. We are capable of so much more. Are we ready to come out of the shadows of modern society and into the light, together? I ask you these questions because I sense a hunger for change. I ask because, even at my relatively young age, I have seen what it takes to make change happen firsthand and have participated in movements that are just now beginning to have a major national role. If we want change, these are the things we must do. Sally said, "Somewhere out of the collective of the human mind we have and continue to gather our long-denied power around us and are beginning to use it." I couldn't have said it better, and truly this could be said about any mass movement. That is the beauty of Sally's writing! Let me frame this question in a much more tangible way. (And if I'm imposing myself inappropriately, my apologies.) If Astroworld or similar site started a PAC or decided to endorse a candidate or issue, would you consider giving money, volunteering some time, writing a letter to a paper, or doing something else concrete in support? If the answer is yes, then what are we waiting for? :-) Posted by: Dave on July 26, 2007 06:38 AMI do remember you Dave and am happy to hear about your move. I don't know about the other people on this blog but I already volunteer, write letters, give money, particularly to Emily's list etc. But I would entertain starting a PAC maybe not for a candidate, at least not until the field narrows a bit, but I would love to for an issue, to formulate a debate around the issues important to us, at least one or two. The environment and health care weigh heavily on my mind, but others might have additional issues. I would invite people to send their issues in and we can make a list from those and pick from that list. Money could be donated through paypal already on this site and then I could send it off with our names attached as a donation to a larger group dealing with those issues. I am personally more aligned with "issues" than a particular candidate or even the regular channels relating to political parties such as the DNC, DLC, DCCC, RNC etc. I'm not sure they are serving our best interests. You are right, one hour a year of putting out intentions is a wonderful experience, but that's not going to get the long-term desired result. It's the day to day, hour to hour of shifting consciousness up and beyond. I liked your focus on the Aquarian Age and the people alive today as pioneers. Very well said. Having worked for non-profits my entire life career, I can tell you that "your" non-profit is extremely fortunate to have you aboard, with your energy, creativity and passion. Let's see where this takes us. What passes for leadership and politics right now is a dying dinosaur, you can see it, feel it and smell it. People are looking for not just change, but something to believe in. It's more and more difficult to look at what is going on in DC because I don't care what dying dinosaurs are doing. I've never been a person to look back except on interesting history, and this isn't interesting yet, well unless you count the history of the various decaying Pharaohs, Emperors, dictators, and Caesars, they all take the same, exactly the same boring self-destructive path. Funny thing, their downfall can be traced to their tendency to underestimate the people, but I digress. So Astroworld, are we interested in taking up David's challenge? Let me know and we will make a list. Posted by: Sally on July 26, 2007 07:19 AMIn his 1987 book entitled Synchronicity: The Bridge Between Matter and Mind, Dr. F. David Peat, a physicist at Queen’s University in Canada, asserted that synchronicities ….. Science has a probable explanation for this. The mirror neurons in the brain. This knowledge is already used in management seminars in how to manipulate and influence people. You are so right Charles, a huge leadership consulting industry has sprung up around these principles and it's exciting on one hand and frightening on the other as generations are growing up without scruples. "Mega-trends 2010" suggests generations beginning with the 1976 group of babies or better known as Generation Y will be so tired of spin and marketing they will trust no one and nothing. I see that already in this group of people. They are working on drugs now to target specific races, the Albert Switzer's are using it for improved health and targeting race specific illness, the Dr. Joseph Mengela types are trying to use it to create drugs that erases memories, can target race specific weaknesses in order to wipe out the race. The loss of ethics and scruples in this world as the "bottom line" was being chased (money) will have dramatic effects on all societies, it already has. Posted by: Sally on July 26, 2007 02:30 PMDave's back! Giddy-up! "But I have truthfully known that since 1999, when the thing began to become a little bit insane. So I've had a good long time to know that, and I accept it." So Rowling is ready to move on... The fate of the 2008 presidential election might already be sealed—in the fine print on Barack Obama’s birth certificate. Was he born at 1:06 p.m.? Or was it just after 12? According to America’s most popular political astrologers, what happened—or did not happen—during that crucial Honolulu hour on August 4, 1961 could determine the future of the free world. Since Mr. Obama’s birth time is not yet publicly known, even to his own campaign, astrologers who make their living interpreting the impact of the heavens on the nation’s earthbound elected leaders can’t make up their mind as to whether he has one of the most ready-made “leadership charts” in recent presidential history—a strikingly similar one to Bill Clinton’s, save the seductive planets—or is cursed with the prospect of physical danger and a mentality too cerebral to run a country. http://www.observer.com/2007/astrologers-agree-obama-faces-machiavellian-enemy Posted by: wv on July 26, 2007 03:52 PMOh, lawdy, just check the nooz. Bush on March 14, 2005, confirmed by the United States Senate on June 8, 2005, and took the oath of office on June 13, 2005. Following graduation, Mr. Clement clerked for Judge Laurence H. Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and for Associate Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court. After his clerkships, he worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis. Mr. Clement went on to serve as Chief Counsel of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution, Federalism and Property Rights. Afterwards, he was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of King & Spalding, where he headed the firm’s appellate practice. Mr. Clement also served from 1998 to 2004 as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught a seminar on the separation of powers. Mr. Clement joined the Department of Justice in February of 2001. Before his confirmation as Solicitor General, he served as Acting Solicitor General for nearly a year and as Principal Deputy Solicitor General. He has argued over 40 cases before the United States Supreme Court, including McConnell v. FEC, Tennessee v. Lane, Rumsfeld v. Padilla, United States v. Booker and Gonzales v. Raich. He also argued many of the key cases in the lower courts involving challenges to the President’s conduct of the war on terrorism. In the absence of anything remotely resembling victory in Iraq, Bush and Cheney play the blame game -- including in a new, authorized biography of the vice president. Jul. 26, 2007 | President Bush's political strategy at home is an implicit if unintended admission of the failure of his military strategy in Iraq and toward terrorism generally. Betrayal is his theme, delivered in his speeches, embroidered by his officials and trumpeted by the brass band of neoconservative publicists. The foundation for his stab-in-the-back theory was laid in the beginning. "Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists," Bush said in his joint address to Congress nine days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. And in the weeks that followed he repeated variations of his formula, reducing it to "for or against us in the war on terrorism." At the Charleston, S.C., Air Force Base on Tuesday, Bush resumed his repudiated habit of conflating threats, suggesting a connection between 9/11 and the Iraq war, and intensified his blaming of domestic critics for the shortcomings of his policy. His story line depends upon omitting his own part in the calamity. "The facts are," insisted Bush to his captive audience, "that al-Qaida terrorists killed Americans on 9/11, they're fighting us in Iraq and across the world, and they are plotting to kill Americans here at home again." http://www.salon.com/opinion/blumenthal/2007/07/26/cheney/print.html Posted by: wv on July 26, 2007 09:17 PM
One of the commenters wrote: I started to look what some recent General Strikes have done around the world and how effective many of them have been in bringing power to heel to the people. That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about in the article. We are fighting a repressive, illegitimate, criminal fascist regime and we don't have to re-invent the wheel. The sandinistas fought one. And many others did too. We are fighting a power base that has been bought and paid for by transnational corporations. We must declare war on those corporations that are funding the politicians that are soiling our democracy and our constitution. WAR!!. When you fight a war you seek to kill or take over the opposition. Perhaps part of what we need to do is get legislation enacted that can "kill" corporations. We certainly need to start finding leaders and organizations who/that will be more effective and tough in standing up to the sources of power behind the right wing fascists and their invertebrate democrat enablers who refuse to face the fact that they have to get much tougher. www.opednews.com
Dear Progressives: Organize or Squabble, Which Is It? By John R Moffett There is an enormous chasm forming among liberals, progressives, and leftists, and the reason why is obvious. A quick perusal of the comments sections on many recent articles here at OpEd News demonstrates that traditional Democrats and more progressive or liberal leaning activists are no longer in agreement about the way forward for the United States. The primary reason for the lack of coherence in the movement to undo what Bush Co. have done can be laid squarely at the feet of the Democrats in Congress. They're hesitance to move forward with articles of impeachment have infuriated the left. This obvious fact has apparently still not sunken in with the myopic congressional Democrats. They think that Bush Co. will destroy itself without any help from them. Yet history shows that the electorate rewards strong words followed by strong actions, and rejects weakness and capitulation when important principles are at stake. Posted by: wv on July 26, 2007 09:41 PMwv, I really like this General Strike idea, but hope it would be publicized with enough lead time so most people interested would get the info in time to take part. BTW, Ever since I first saw Alberto "Abu" Gonzales on TV I have been thinking of the televangelist Benny Hinn. To me, Alberto is so like Benny Hinn. Saw Benny on MSM in the '90s when some reporter was raking him over the coals for his financial practices. Benny's response was pure judo and the reporter was stymied. In other words, Benny would respond along the lines of, "I didn't know that, but now that I do, I will correct it." Or, so very gently spoken, "Thank you for pointing that out--I didn't know that, but we will certainly look into it, etc." Anybody else here remember Benny? Posted by: Barbara on July 26, 2007 09:43 PMshy, I didn't mean to offend. I meant our figurative collective breath. I know that no one here is expecting anything but the worst. Posted by: lunaoscura on July 26, 2007 10:30 PMSally, That's the spirit! Let's see what other folks have to say. Hey shylurker! Good to be back. One question I've given some thought to is what issues we Aquarian pioneers really care about that makes us as a group unique. Some that come to mind are: global climate change and the environment generally, world peace, keeping right-wing religion out of politics, economic inequality, transparency, etc. Most of the things on my list (which is quite a bit larger than this) are all things that most people on the left and far left care about too. Clearly, a belief in humanity's connection to the stars and to the natural world set us apart from the rest of the left, but environmentalists probably agree with that (at least with the environment part). Our belief in and connection to a world that transcends the mundane is something that makes us unique, although to what exent is this a quasi-religious belief? Does this connection have direct relevance to matters of politics and policy? In my experience it does, but it's very difficult to quantify or translate into something that could be explained to those who don't share this connection. I sense that we Aquarian pioneers are a constituency of some kind, just not a political one, at least not yet. Definitely a spiritual one. Maybe some of you all have some insights into this. Peace activist voices her independent streak Sunday, July 22, 2007 Some people have offered to quit their jobs to move to California's Eighth Congressional District to help my possible campaign. People are lining up to donate and help, and I am again very grateful and touched beyond belief by the generosity and energy of my fellow Americans. I truly understand the not-so-supportive people, though, because I have been in their shoes. Here in the United States, most of us put our faith in a two-party system that has failed peace and justice repeatedly. The Republicans do not have a monopoly on the culture of corruption (although BushCo has elevated it to policy status), and the way we do politics in this country needs a serious shakeup, when all we the people are getting is a shakedown. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/07/22/INGC6R23F41.DTL&type=printable Posted by: wv on July 26, 2007 11:12 PMOh, dear me, lunaoscura, no offense taken as I didn't think any was intended. Given circumstances over the past eight years, it would appear that this group of evil aliens :) brush all these pesky gnat ideas and suggesetions aside. wv posted an article above about a General Strike. . .boy would that be great. By CRAIG MURRAY (former UK ambassador to Uzebekistan /jc) SNIP Our economic achievement in Afghanistan goes well beyond the simple production of raw opium. In fact Afghanistan no longer exports much raw opium at all. It has succeeded in what our international aid efforts urge every developing country to do. Afghanistan has gone into manufacturing and 'value-added' operations. It now exports not opium, but heroin. Opium is converted into heroin on an industrial scale, not in kitchens but in factories. Millions of gallons of the chemicals needed for this process are shipped into Afghanistan by tanker. The tankers and bulk opium lorries on the way to the factories share the roads, improved by American aid, with Nato troops. How can this have happened, and on this scale? The answer is simple. The four largest players in the heroin business are all senior members of the Afghan government – the government that our soldiers are fighting and dying to protect. When we attacked Afghanistan, America bombed from the air while the CIA paid, armed and equipped the dispirited warlord drug barons – especially those grouped in the Northern Alliance – to do the ground occupation. We bombed the Taliban and their allies into submission, while the warlords moved in to claim the spoils. Then we made them ministers. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/new... Taking good news where I can find it, this morning read an article by reporter Ken Herman (don't know who he is) headlined, "Senate Democrats subpoena Rove." The article ends with a quote from WH spokesperson Tony Fratto: "Every day this Congress gets a little more out of control." Oh, I hope so!
