2005
The temporary vibration of a 7 year offers some profound advice, for it is a year of the dreamer, philosopher, mystic and creative mind. In the negative a 7-year can bring gloom as the disappointment in the outer world drives us to a hermitage, a recluse shutting out a world that has disappointed us. For the US specifically we are experiencing an 18/9-year, a year of endings and the beginning of internal healing and new dreams. Soon you will be finding a great deal on the Chinese “Year of the Rooster.” Not only do “roosters’ awaken they are also considered to be the link or voice between heaven and earth. I’m not sure if this means the rooster awakens us or is so loud finally God hears us, we will have to wait until Feb. 9th to find out. Until then we are still under the whimsy eye of the Monkey and he has another month or so to play tricks. Jared Diamond of the New York Times listed five interacting dynamics that have been important in the historical collapses of powerful societies. 1. The damage that people inflict on their environment This is just a checklist, a society doesn’t have to have all of them but some of them will be dramatically present. I don’t think it’s too hard to look around the world and see the societies suffering under some of these, including our own, and it is no different today than it was thousands of years ago when Atlantis, Mu, the Mayan, Rome, Greek culture all were destroyed because of the presence of more than one of these dynamics. It doesn’t matter how big or small the specific society might be, it is the total destruction of their way of life caused by the greed and insulation of their leaders, who were well fed and didn’t see what was happening to their people. If you look at where we are on Mr. Diamond’s checklist, it’s not too difficult to predict the ultimate outcome of America in the not too distant future. The ability of the United States, Russia, China and Europe to inflict incredible damage while our “kings” engage in their power struggles, oblivious to the masses and what of the masses? Do we really think our home security systems; gated communities, guns, and frisking people in the airports are going to keep gangs and terrorists from plundering this country? No, we are destroying ourselves from within. Last year on Jan. 1, Jupiter was in the 12th house squaring Pluto in the 3rd house, pointing to lies, big lies in the media and further economic erosions such as the fall of the dollar, outsourcing, stock market falls, continued theft by large corporations. There was also a Sun, Mars, Saturn T-square, aspecting the US planets in Cancer, and more of our civil rights were taken away (with our permission or ignorance of what we’ve lost) and this administration nominating a new Attorney General and FBI head in 2004 who promise to wield an even greater hammer and our leader (Saturn at the Mid-heaven) becoming more and more insulated. Even his campaign stumps were carefully restricted to the GWB faithful. He didn’t even interact with the masses. The media (Jupiter square Pluto) were so afraid of losing their power they simply remained bobble heads, and to a certain extent they did lose it to the bloggers or were just tuned out. Just a little insert, as the New Year’s Chart relates to the entire world, the Sun/Mars/Saturn T-square was a clue to massive earth changes somewhere on this planet, and Saturn/Mars often relates to earthquakes. The progressed Moon on December 26th was in the 8th house and a square to Neptune, signaling a loss of life through water and it could have happened anywhere on the face of the earth. So now we are 2005 and the landscape has changed. Jupiter is now in the 1st house, in a sextile to Mercury and before the year is out it will sextile Venus, Pluto and Mercury once again. There are 4 planets in Sagittarius this year, so more hope and help from leaders and with any little bit of luck, the media, as we raise our voices to be heard. Mercury and Venus is in opposition to the, once in our lifetime, “Venus Transit/Eclipse” last June. Remember that transit plays out over 8 years. In fact the “Venus Transit” was being aspected by the Indonesia Earthquake and squaring Indonesia’s Chiron (a wounding) in the 11th house, (a healing of groups or nations) The Tsunami Wave impacted (from large to small) countries around the world and that “wave’ will be felt world wide throughout this year. Don’t ask where because the results of the “earth wobble” caused by this earthquake will change climate, ocean currents, destabilize fault lines everyplace, so the weaknesses and flaws in Mother Earth can show up anywhere in the world. I think there is a surprise coming from the people to the government this year. The Moon in Virgo in the 12th house is going to be pretty nit-picky about what they are told and about the environment, gathering information to spring on the government in a revolutionary way. Pharmaceuticals will find themselves in more than a little hot water, and environmentalists will make worldwide headway this year. August/September/October/November will be stunning and difficult months for pharmaceutical companies and a rise in alternative healing practices as more and more people “get’ and understand the mind/body/spirit concept to health. The World’s chart for the year 2005 point toward a significant impact on the Inauguration in the US, again the US is a focal point for the year and the rest of the world is watching. Mainly problems with the economy in this country as the South Node of 2005 squares the US Pluto and will be squared by T Saturn and T Jupiter and because this year’s T Saturn conjuncts GWB’s Saturn and the US Pluto. His administration’s fiscal policies could plunge this country and the rest of the world into economic despair, at the very least there will be great uncertainty around our economic stability, particularly when T Jupiter retrogrades back toward the US Saturn. December 2005 promises to be pretty difficult with Mars and Jupiter squaring Saturn from Taurus/Scorpio to Leo. Start saving your money now for gifts next year. This promises to be a more dangerous year for this administration than for the US as a whole, unless we are still of a mind that GWB and Karl Rove have the power to control everything and everyone. Transformation is still with us in 2005 as Mercury and Venus are conjuncting the Black Holes of Inanna (Queen of the Heavens) and Ereshkigal (Queen of the Underworld). On Inauguration Day, Mars meets up with Ereshkigal and T Jupiter plus GWB Jupiter sextiles supporting the union of an unholy alliance, which began in January 2001. We will be looking at the “dark side” expanded throughout the world. Whenever a person or a country finally gets to their darkest hour healing begins. It is a most dangerous year for this administration and its leaders. We will see if “insulation” protects them particularly over the next 10 months as very dark forces are aligning against them, forces they won’t see coming. The Sabian symbol for Ereshkigal 19 Sagittarius degree is ominous and hopeful “the need for people concerned with the future to discover a new way of living and more wholesome surroundings. The survival of the race becomes extremely important, animal species even mankind itself could be destroyed. A generation may have to sacrifice itself for the sake of its descendants.” The “ominous” piece of that particular Sabian Symbol is pretty obvious; the hopeful piece is the discovery of a new way of living, a better way to live. Try to be careful in your interpretation of “sacrifice.” For some sacrifice means death, for others financial ruin, yet others giving up their SUV’s, their giant homes, the word can mean a myriad of things, so be careful of placing a doomsday meaning onto “sacrifice,” because we have not reached the end of the line for the world except in our imaginations. Sadly but thanks to the Indonesia Earthquake there is a great possibility of much healing being accomplished. Just as with 9/11 countries, races, religions are coming together to help and support and mourn with them, let’s hope this outpouring of prayers, money, resources, love, it isn’t squandered as our President squandered our opportunity to be healing agents. We are coming to a new understanding this year and next. That understanding will be confusing for some, others will deny it or fight against it, others still are working to incorporate it; that understanding is how we as a collective whole impact this world including the earth. We are witnesses to the dying of a consciousness that will go the way of the dinosaur. Begin the process of not looking back to what was, but forward to what can be. On the mundane level, anger will mount toward our government as the year goes on. I don’t think the vote will be overturned; however there will be a challenge to it. Kerry I think will come back as a voice as soon as Pluto passes the opposition to his Saturn, he could also prove to be an irritant to this administration, and so could John Edwards. The Democratic Party, however, will find they slogging until late spring when Saturn passes the square to their Saturn. They simply must find their voice and it needs to be the voice of radical change or they simply will be marginalized out of existence. They don’t have revolutionary aspects this year as a party, but revolution can come to them in the spring if they take the opportunity. Pay attention to the fact that George Bush did not get a bounce after the election, in fact his numbers went down. There is at least one giant scandal this year as Saturn and Chiron square the North Node, however there have been several scandals, the game now is whether it will be broadcast, don’t let up on the media. As Vis pointed out, the Moon is VOC for Congress this year, which might translate into much ado about nothing, or the laws they pass will ultimately be overturned. Uranus will square the mid-heaven of their Swearing In Chart; they have some shocks coming for them this session. Iraq, Iran and Syria remain hot spots, especially Iraq and Iran. Sadly there is no rest for Iraq, not even after the elections (the elections are a joke.) There is something happening this year in Saudi Arabia, at the very least an overthrow of the Royal Family is fermenting right now. The New Year Venus, Mercury and Pluto conjunction falls right across their Kingdom and Mars is coming to a conjunction on the 20th of January. The next 10 months are crucial for Saudi Arabia and their response to the people particularly Muslims, lots of ideology with these aspects. India, New Zealand, Australia and the Indian Ocean remain unstable for a while and will need a great deal of help, I hope the governments get the check up front from these countries promising their help. Just for fun, the upcoming trip for Colin Powell and Jeb Bush is not going to be all that well received, look toward the foreign press to tell you about that trip. Also look for the foreign press to gain in stature this year worldwide. Could force more honesty in our own media. Watch CNN International because they will absolutely have to keep up with the rest of the international press. The good news is humor is on the rebound as 50 percent of us start laughing at the other 50 percent, and laugh at ourselves. This can be the year that we start making lemonade out of the lemons we’ve been handed. We need to do the very best we can this year, because next year we are back into lies, lies and more lies. Next week I will let you know about the US more specifically with the upcoming Inauguration. Brace yourselves, the hype and arrogance will be deep at the Inauguration. I can hear them crowing now. And if you are looking for doom for this year, search the web there is plenty of it out there. Times they are a changing and we have Captain Blyth in charge of the ship.

Ah, Captain Sally, thanks so much for the hopeful forecast. In the spirit of New Year's resolutions, etc. I have been throwing out old stuff. (My on-going New Year's resolution is to Get Organized!) One interesting thing I found is an old astrological calendar where I wrote in the squares what had happened that day--i.e., received earned check today (always a Venus aspect), got a traffic ticket (for a while T. Uranus was aspecting my natal Mars conj Saturn--it took a while for me to catch on), etc. Anyhow, this is a great way to use astrology to relate to everyday life. And also a way to do helpful personal astrological research. Happy New Years, dear Astroworlders. The world is so much better for your place in it. Posted by: Barbara on January 3, 2005 01:08 AMSally, you're the best. Barbara, what a great thing to do, I would keep that calendar for fun and then compare it to a new one. That's what I am doing, pitching and throwing, I am going to have a nic-nac sale this spring and get rid of a bunch of stuff. I've got to do something to take up time while waiting for the rest of our fellow americans to get rid of george so we all can move along. Posted by: Sally on January 3, 2005 01:15 AMInterestingly, I, too, am cleaning house, so to speak. Donating a lot of clothes, etc. I haven't touched in years to the local charities in my neighborhood. And unloading TONS of videotapes that I, because everything I have is on DVD now, never, ever watch. I trust the people who now have them will appreciate them greatly. :-) I've just started using an Astrological Calendar. I've highlighted the Moon VC times, the New Moons and the times when Saturn and Jupiter are Stationary. Any other thoughts on what I might want to look out for? Thank goodness AstroWorld is here. Looking forward to reading all your Posts throughout 2005 and beyond. Posted by: Jonathan on January 3, 2005 03:10 AMGreat Write Sally - As I was reading I couldn't help but feel hopeful. Yes there are tough times ahead but could we feel worse than we did in November? I like that finally there will be anger towards the admin and maybe the media will start speaking up. Much ado about nothing with the congress means to me less damage done by them and the chicken wingers. Money problems? Well who isn't having them? Oh that's right, the sales were up this year but on the high end only. I have no desire to deny anyone their rightful wealth, I'd like it too, but so much of what we're seeing, like that ghastly inauguration, has been acquired by stealth. Lies next year? Well maybe by that time eyes will be opening, the lies won't be accepted wholesale and our grin and bear it experience won't be anything like what we've been through. We watched, "The Day After Tomorrow" New Year's Eve, and I remember when it first came out the chicken wingers were saying it was political and that nothing like that could ever happen. I wish that movie was coming out this week for now we know it could happen here. Am looking forward to part 2 next week. Thanks and God Bless. Posted by: M. on January 3, 2005 03:44 AMGood article, Sally. It re-enforces that we have to and will take responsibility for this new consciousness and world we're creating while the dark forces dissolve themselves, or come to their senses. I'm wondering about Morgana. Anyone in touch with her? Posted by: Sharon on January 3, 2005 03:56 AMMichael Harwood's "The Daze" has some interesting astro information on the Indonesia tsunami and the newly discovered Sedna. Sedna, which the Alaskan tribes associate with tsunamis has been forming a yod between Jupiter and Pluto. You might find this a fascinating take. http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~harwood/coment.html#Latest Sharon, I have not been in touch with Morgana since before the holidays but I will check on her and make sure all is well. She was very busy at that time and having computer problems. Posted by: Sally on January 3, 2005 05:26 AMGreetings A-worlders... Message from a correspondent in Canada received this evening, thought I'd share (Please forgive me that this is NOT astrological in its content...) … as the days follow each other, I feel not better, but more wounded. There have been times in the past, when I have felt as if my chest were being ripped open; now it's being ripped and filled with an indefinite shapeless heaviness. Yet, I'm all right. I've often thought that what I have "signed up" for is to be here during a certain period of time. What occured to me a few minutes ago is that the time is starting now. I must also say that I don't feel I have any special "plan of action" or specific contract to fulfill. I almost wish I did. The deal seems to involve just being present. So we will see what comes next. I will translate rather literally, as I don't want to risk adding my own interpretation. Also, please feel free to pass this on to as many people as you like - Who and how many is up to you. Here is the message: Now, this 'anomalous wave' should bring you to reflect on how precarious your existence is and how only the union amongst all continents and the intervention of multiple economical resources can bring about the change and a new reconstruction. But what is happening on the Earth is none other than a reflection of what is happening within your hearts. The time for a tangible construction of structures (the word used is 'opera' - which can mean a physical building, or institution, or organization, or work of art - most of which generally need buildings anyway) that will endure for an evolved humanity begins now; if you won't hook onto your internal resources you will end up destroying all the existing structures, and this will also happen on a physical level with constant earthquakes. May these days of the beginning of the year be soaked in this energy, the energy of attention to events and profound analysis of what is occurring in your lives. Circulate this information amongst all people you know, talk about it to the people close to you; we are on full alert as far as the Earth is concerned. Alert all those who hold a position of responsibility (flight operators, geologists, chemical doctors, medical doctors, politicians and all those who hold great responsibility) so that they will use maximum attention and care. You are coming to a major cross-road, many souls wil leave the Earth and others will suffer from mental and infectious diseases; a new virus is forecasted; this will be the reason that will prompt a new consciousness for those who are thinking of using the sphere of power. The time that is coming is the TEMPLE OF THE HEART (the word used in Italian was 'tempio', which means temple, but it could have been a mispelling of 'tempo' which means time - I stuck to 'temple' but you can interpret it as you like, since it doesn't really make much difference, does it?) but all possible courage and attention will be needed to access it, and those who will embrace Love will have a clear and open path. We are with you to lead you into this dimension" I wish you all the best for this coming year. May you all be held in the eye of the storm. Blessings, KM Posted by: KM on January 3, 2005 05:43 AMThank you KM for sharing this. More than anything we need to understand how we are creating the disaster unfolding on earth, but we are all so defensive and fearful of facing ourselves thinking "if each one of us are a part of creating the social, economic, political and environmental situation then I must be bad." We feel we cannot acknowledge in anyway our culpability. I know that we (all humanity) collectively hold the energy of all that has gone before, we didn't get here overnight and we are not going to evolve overnight. Many channeled messages are saying the same thing and trying to gently lead us to a greater understanding of ourselves and our connection to all, positive and negative. I do think there is a possibility of an infectious disease, with what they call a pandemic breaking out sometime in 2006 and I would hope everyone become familiar with alternative medicines or homopathic medicines. In Dec 2005/Jan. 2006 there is a grand fixed square involving Neptune, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn, often times a strong Neptune is seen with a severe virus's break out. However, with the increase of sanitation in the western countries, even in some third world countries I so not think it will be as dramatic as the 1917 plague that hit the world. Posted by: Sally on January 3, 2005 06:05 AMThanks for your insights, Sally........I agree that as we contemplate the possibility that we are contributing to the present reality it is inevitable that we recoil and deny our culpability. It is either that or admit to ourselves that we are somehow "bad". The truth, however, (in my view at least) is that we ARE contributors - and that far from being evil or bad, we are simply "human" and given to fears, and the resulting manifestation of such fears. These in turn lead to our "creating" (projecting is perhaps a better word?) exactly that which we fear. Rather than "bad" I think we are more just "unenlightened" or miseducated. Even as we strive for enlightenment we will find ourselves struggling with this dichotomy of love/hate(fear) and light/darkess(evil). It takes conscious work to overcome our denser natures to acheive our lighter potential. Or you may prefer to conceptualize this as "letting go" of conscious control and "allowing" what is to "be". I remember a camping trip soon after my daughter (quite an enlightened being) told me that I would attract that which I most feared -- 'course she had been speaking in economic terms, but I quickly generalized her message. So up in the high Sierras of California, I thought about the likelihood of a bear coming 'round. I laid awake all night, simultaneously fearing a bear, imagining its stealty approach, AND reminding myself that to do so was to attract the very thing I feared. Talk about conflicted emotions and thought processes! Every time I thought about the bear I feared (and saw the damned thing approaching in my mind's eye) I also countered with an affirmation that I DID NOT FEAR A BEAR, and imagined it vanishing into thin air, or turning aside in its wanderings -- in fact saying "go away bear". Long story short --- I never saw a bear on that camping trip -- although my partner (who knew about my fear) later shared that at the beginning of our trip when he checked in at a ranger's station he was told that there had been numerous bear sightings and that we should be therefore be careful. 'Course, loving fellow that he is, he didn't share this with me. Thank goodness! I could barely sleep as it was!! But I have never forgotten about that night...the fact that my energy fed into the presence of a menacing bear (but was thankfully countered by a corresponding dismissal and "release" of the bear's energy). The parallel would be that our fears of war, oppression and "evil" domination are actually culminating in the present reality. It is not only OUR fears, but also those of those millions who are asleep that help to manifest this actuality. Does this make us BAD? I think not. It just shows that we still have work to do to overcome this propensity for fear. One thing I have learned to do, that seems to work for me, is to breathe light and love into my fears. This usually gives me confidence and a sense of power. Then I can work on conjuring that which I wish to manifest. Course I'm still learning...so any who have input are most welcome to share their insights! As to the coming "affliction" or "infectious illness" may we all learn what we can of herbal and energetic healing methods. I fear (ummm...I mean predict?) there will be scant help from our government! Blessings, KM Posted by: KM on January 3, 2005 06:49 AMIf you look at it logically, probably most of the things we fear never come to pass. So often, circumstances are not all we hoped they would be, but not as bad as we might have expected. We so often are able to handle events when they come, even when we were terrified beforehand. Such as this election. The worst happened, and yet we have survived, even thrived, and chances are we will go on with our lives quite successfully. WOW - Sally - fantastic article!!! Loved it! Thanks so much! I too have been cleaning and selling, and pitching. I will have to declare Chapter 7 bankruptcy this year and in Indiana you can only keep $4000 of assets. It has made me evaluate what is important to me. Strangely enough I see this as a fresh start and a chance to lead a more simple, happy life. My brother with the drug problem is here from Denver and is taking tyrosine, rhodiola, essential fatty acids, good vitamins and minerals, etc. to balance his body and keep the drug cravings at bay. He seems determined to make a fresh start this year as well. Maybe if we do what you said and ignore the clowns in charge and focus our energy on a holistic existence - things will change in a good way. Posted by: SuzieLiberal on January 3, 2005 01:28 PMI am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; I will not refuse to do the something I can do. I too have been cleaning out, a New Years ritual I've performed for years. please read and evaluate this link--it may be too far into "tinfoil hat" territory for some, but the fact that the tsunami-affected area is an oil-rich region caught my eye....as did the military commander-in-charge of the relief effort.... http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/12/307042.shtml peace, white light and truth to all beings.... Posted by: Garry on January 3, 2005 04:08 PMMore terrific insights, Sally! And. . .must share a story. Was thinking about Astroworld between wake and dreaming last evening. A sense of profound thankFULLness consumed me for having "found" all of you. Then the concept of thankfulness permeated my spirit. Being thankFULL is sorely missing from our cultural aspirations. Its practice rare. Yet being thankFULL tasks us to attend to the moment. The power of it is magical and helps us transcend whatever challenge we find ourselves in at the moment. At first, it's rather difficult to find anything to be thankful for when you're destitute or terribly ill or fearful. But as so many of you have already expressed here -- we have the power to change the way we VIEW these challenges, the way we embrace them. Perhaps the energy of the coming year will assist many in the discovery of thankFULLness. Perhaps we'll begin to change our focus -- from acquiring more and concentrating on what we don't have -- to using what has been gifted to us, what is already PRESENT. karen Posted by: farrout on January 3, 2005 04:21 PMBeing PRESENT is really a gift! My friend brought this up and maybe it's tinfoil hat time but not really. Why Bhakti, did one blow up? I would think that could cause it but there have been underground testing of nuclear bombs for years and there hasn't been anything like that earthquake. I would think however if conditions were just right it could cause it. I would think the sub would really have to be loaded with nuclear material to set off a 9.2 earthquake. Wonder if we will ever know, they aren't talking about the sonar testing that was going on before this happened or the whales beached in NZ and an earthquake in NZ just the week before. They were talking about the investigation into sonar testing when that happened. Posted by: Sally on January 3, 2005 04:44 PM

Karen/ farrout, this is for you :) A mind unshaken when touched Those who have fulfilled all these Dunno Sally. Something that came up in a conversation. Who knows? With the secrecy we all live under our current media we may never find out even if it was true. Maybe the extent of the tragedy might spark a bit a real compassion in him and hopefully it will grow. Posted by: bhakti on January 3, 2005 06:42 PMbhakti. . .posted awhile ago about the military program HAARP; the almost operational system of altering the weather. This program will be fully operational sometime in 2006. It's highly secretive, of course. But information can be found that alludes to it's operational capacity. Nicola Tesla experimented with a grid series of connected antenna in an attempt to execute weather pattern changes. Apparently this military program is based upon his findings. I would bet that our extreme weather patterns are part of this program. That global warming, while existent may be focused on as a way to divert attention from what is actually occuring. Sally. . .not only do we continue to misuse sonar but also continue to experiment with ever more compact nuclear weaponry would support the basis of bhakti's question. Believe every single person on this site has wondered the same thing. Finding such information may be close to impossible. Peg. . .what a beautiful expression of FAITH. Thank YOU! karen Posted by: farrout on January 3, 2005 06:52 PMI had a sudden insight into "Zero Point" or Time Zero on Dec 21, 2012, the supposed end of the Mayan calendar....and when fractal theory shows that "novelty" ends ..... and then what? The Fifth Level of Consciousness arrives? I say, not a minute too soon, either. But what if this is, in that moment, the blinding burst of higher level consciousness we are consciously or unconsciously working towards? A moment of mass "enlightenment"...could that be the REAL rapture? And what if Jeb Bush will be enlightened today (or Monday, where ever that may be in the time zones) and it changes the course of policy in the US? And I mean, Bush Sr. and Clinton working together? hmmmmmm.....where is Jimmy Carter? (He may be too old now for that kind of strenuous stuff) all very interesting questions.... Posted by: Judi Gemini on January 3, 2005 08:09 PMGee Sally, how many times can we say thank you, thank you, thank you, for your seemingly neverending supply of insights and wisdom. I don't buy into the theories of intentional disaster creation at all. The world's tectonic plates have been moving around since before man was walking on the planet and from time to time something like this will continue to happen. 99.99% of geologists agree. I think perhaps though that manmade activities, such as taking oil from deep in the earth, and maybe even climate manipulation, may exacerbate and accelerate these shifts, though more by unintended consequence on the long term rather than evil, date specific, planning. To think that man can trump the forces of mother nature is giving ourselves way too much credit. Very interesting Bushie announcement I just caught on TV - daddy and Clinton to head fundraising disaster relief venture. Most odd seeing georgie flanked by them both. Daddy has aged and did not look well. George didn't look all that comfortable either. Guess someone is just starting to figure out that America can gain some political capital here and is strongarming him into action. Posted by: Jeanie on January 3, 2005 08:23 PMThat's just it, the not so swift are trying to manipulate weather. Does not mean they can succeed. Don't mess with Mother Nature. I have been seeing chemtrails over NYC for ages. Even when I am flying, way high over the jets are other jets with chemtrails leaving behind tic-tac- toe boards. judi, I was not asking for miracles, (though Poppi * and Clinton are joining forces). Jeb may finally feel, have empathy, what he does with it only time will tell. He may just have a good cry and that's it. Posted by: bhakti on January 3, 2005 08:37 PMExcellent article Sally! February 9th (mentioned in the first paragraph) is my birthday and I believe I was born in a year of the rooster. Posted by: Dave on January 3, 2005 08:42 PMJudi, I saw Jeb interviewed briefly as he was getting on the plane yesterday. He did not at all seem slick, glib or arrogant; in fact, he seemed somewhat uncomfortable yet honored by being chosen for the mission. He expressed sincerely and briefly what he hoped to accomplish by going. At the same time, of course, this ties into his political ambitions but who is without ambition? If only I could believe the he was not involved in voter fraud in 2000 or in '04, then I'd believe that he was the good B*sh (he certainly seems "good"). Naive me, huh? But Judy seems to be getting good vibes about him. I don't know if I mentioned this but GSE (grapefruit seed extract) seemed to speed up my recovery from a 2-week viral infection. There is always hope. I wish no one of an opposing philosophy harm ....it is not that I abhor them for anything other than what they DO and PERPETRATE upon others.... We can only hope to refine our own thoughts and demeanors, and hope for the best for others. I saw this email and felt the need to pass it on to everyone. Blessings, Marie Diamond > Subject: Urgent Message from Masaru Emoto (Dec 30, 2004) Just heard on CNN that a report is coming out that says Eli Lilley knew there was a high suicide risk with prozac. What Ho Sally, your predictions are already seeing the light of day! Posted by: Judi Gem on January 4, 2005 12:05 AMI just checked the earthquake stats for today....it has calmed down except for a 5.7 near MacQuarrie Island (east coast off of Australia) which has been having quakes also....but swarms of quakes in Alaska, and shallow, too.... Watched "Dante's Peak" last night, which I had never seen when it came out in 1997....scary. Posted by: Judi Gemini on January 4, 2005 12:07 AMI have to start looking more into his work Sally. It is SO interesting. I have seen photos, though, of water with and without these thought imprints. By the way, the product I think you're looking for is Mucinex. We have been using it and I'm sure it helped. But, what I feel helped me the most is the GSE, and gargling with salt water which I only began doing a couple of days ago at my husband's suggestion. I can't believe I forgot that old, old family remedy. I once had a really bad throad virus and gargling with apple cider vinegar helped a lot, too. Emergen C, Sambucol black elderberry, GSE, salt, apple cider vinegar, breathe easy tea --- these are certainly good things to have on hand. Posted by: Sharon on January 4, 2005 12:33 AMan addendum to Garry's article posted above: “Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations, techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces will be appraised…Techniques of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods of drought or storm.” It sounds like something from Greek legend or Nordic mythology. Harnessing the elements and quite literally using natural forces as a weapon of war: causing earthquakes or storms and maybe even hurling thunderbolts at your opponents. To make it all the more effective the recipients would never see it coming, at least not until it hit them. And then in the aftermath, amidst the ruin and devastation, who would they blame? Unlike a missile attack or a bombing raid the perpetrators wouldn’t be obvious so the victims would end up blaming elemental chaos, not the real culprits. Unfortunately the above is not just speculation. The ability to trigger earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and even effect peoples brains and the Earth’s own tectonic plates is now a very real possibility; the research has been done, the tests completed and the weaponry has been deployed, and maybe even used. It’s called HAARP (High-frequency Active Aural Research Program) and was developed as part of the “Star Wars” initiative. According to Dr. Nicholas Begich HAARP is: “A super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere (upper layer of the atmosphere) by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back and penetrate everything – living and dead.” Aside from disrupting normal weather patterns it would also bombard those targeted with deadly radiation. Thus in the words of Dr. Rosalie Bertell, HAARP is: “a gigantic heater that can cause major disruption in the ionosphere, creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from bombarding this planet.” Apart from that HAARP could also be used in communicating with submarines or disorientating specifically targeted segments of the population. Thus in the words of the U.S. 1/96 Air Command and Staff College’s Airpower Journal: … “the U.S. military is developing high-powered micro-wave weapons for use against human beings…They do not simply attack a person’s body, they reach all the way into a person’s mind…They are meant to disorient or upset mental stability.” Back in the 70’s the Russians aimed a crude form of this technology at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, causing immense physical and mental damage to the occupants. Its origins lie even further back though in the ideas of scientific visionary Nicola Tesla; in 1935 Tesla spoke of creating controlled earthquakes and being able to produce: “rhythmical vibrations to pass through the Earth”. . . and to . . . “convey these mechanical effects to the greatest terrestrial distances and produce all kinds of unique effects.” Forty years later Tesla’s ideas may well have become a reality. In 1976 as Senator Claiborne Pell chaired a Senate sub-committee he warned: “We need a treaty now…before the military leaders of the world start directing storms, manipulating climates and inducing earthquakes against their enemies.” However Senator Pell’s warning may have already come too late. On June 5, 1977, New York Times described a huge earthquake in Tangshan, China which killed over 650,000 people. “Just before the first tremor at 3:42am,” the Times reported, “the sky lit up like daylight. The multi-hued lights, mainly white and red, were seen up to 200 miles away. Leaves on many trees were burned to a crisp and growing vegetables were scorched on one side, as if by a fireball.” Some investigators have concluded that these effects were the product of Tesla-like technology and/or HAARP transmissions. Whatever the real cause though they sound eerily reminiscent of what Tesla himself described as a weapon capable of producing “all kinds of unique effects.”
In response to this: Republican Reed faces GOP wrath over recount decisions Reed told them that his role overseeing the recount — a role that meant the Republican would soon certify the Democrat the victor in the race — had created "some very raw nerves and emotions." "While I anticipate emotions calming down as time goes by, there are certainly people very angry with me now — including some very good friends and supporters," Reed wrote. He closed by saying any advice would be appreciated. It wasn't exactly advice he got back a few hours later from his friend of 30 years, John Giese, a Republican political consultant and close adviser to Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi. "How convenient to blame 'emotions' for the mass discontent within Republican ranks over your handling of the major legal issues in this gubernatorial recount," Giese wrote to Reed and his fellow members of the kitchen cabinet. "I am one of those who has no intentions of supporting you in the future either, because you didn't listen." Giese's e-mail may be the clearest sign of Republican discontent with Reed's handling of the recount. On talk radio, in conservative blogs and elsewhere, Republicans have questioned his party loyalty, his choice of attorneys, his hands-off approach with county auditors and nearly all the decisions he made that led to his certification of Democrat Christine Gregoire last Thursday as governor-elect by a 129-vote lead. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/20021387... I wrote this: Dear Mr. Reed, I have heard that people in your party are angry at you for the gubernatorial results in the state of WA. I am sure you are not thrilled yourself. However, if you acted with integrity, ethics, and honesty, as it appears you did, you should be thrilled with yourself. You are the kind of person who will shine when the s**t finally goes down and corruption and election fraud are exposed. Thank you for your honesty and for following the rules. Sincerely, I'll try to stop monopolizing the board. I guess I'm in a good mood! Bush 2 off to shaky start - 'Worst I've seen it' - official Honeymoon? What honeymoon? "It's been sloppy. ...People are off message," conceded a senior administration official, who said Team Bush's trademark discipline had crumbled since winning a second term. "It's the worst I've ever seen it," the official conceded. In the view of former GOP strategist Marshall Wittman, now a senior fellow at the Democratic Leadership Council, "The honeymoon blew over quicker than a Texas thunderstorm on a hot July day." Sally - Great article!! Thank you. what are you using for the time of swearing in tomorrow? I am assuming around noon? KM- A very interesting piece. Many thanks. What it seems to me to be saying is that we need to all work together on this earth. The tsunami has provided an opportunity for this universal coming together. 9/11 did as well, but it then got turned into an opportunity for greater chaos and destruction and further division. By having the tsunami in an area that is not a superpower and by not having an identifiable enemy, the issues from 9/11 won't apply. Posted by: Nancy on January 4, 2005 12:55 AMSharon - Do you recommend the GSE from the site you posted above? And do you only take it when you are sick? Thanks. Posted by: Nancy on January 4, 2005 01:05 AMNancy, Vis is using 9:20, I kind of expect 9:30 to 10:00 and will have to watch, but it's sooner than Noon. No matter when it is tomorrow the Moon is VOC if it's after 9:20 Posted by: Sally on January 4, 2005 01:22 AMThanks Sally. I have heard "the morning" from one of my Senator's offices, 3 PM from my congressman's office, and noon from the radio. Last time i t was noon (actually 12:08). I just ordered some grapefruit seed extract from this site: http://www.pureliquidgold.com/ It sounds like a good thing to have around the house. And I was told it has an indefinite shelf life. I'm sure there are a lot of good ones. It said in the article that people even clean with it! Maybe he will help in the undoing :-) (I think you mentioned him recently which caused him to be on my mind, but I'm waiting for certain Senators and Congresspeople to stand up to this administration and slimeballs like Delay & Hasert with great courage this year.) Posted by: Sharon on January 4, 2005 02:03 AMThe VOC starts at 9:20, but the actually hammer hits to open the session at 12 noon, scheduled. And the VOC lasts till later tomorrow night. I was going to look at the transits too. Posted by: Vis on January 4, 2005 03:17 AMAt the 2003 swearing in there was a yod in effect between Moon/Sun with Jupiter at the apex which pointed to some kind of destiny to be fulfilled, certainly a focus. This year (sorry Vis I misunderstood your 9:20 time) with the VOC Moon in the 7th on the SN looks like they may have to cooperate a little more and like it's a boondoggle with Saturn and Chiron in a fairly close square. I don't see how it could be a boondoggle with the Republicans in control, it could also be a loss of control or a sense of futility with other people running the show (Moon dibilitated in the 7th) Uranus will square the 6 degree Mars in the spring creating a potential of a blow up and a potential for wisdom from someone to come out of this Congress. Three planets in the 9th could also indicate three Supreme Court Justices being replaced and the Senate will confirm three new judges. Jupiter in the 6th says Social Security Reform, in an applying square to the Sun there will be lots of promises that turn to dust or based on deceit. Will look forward to your assessment and Nancy's, I don't think the chart is all that great for the US but maybe, you know Jupiter in the 6th could also mean they vote for a draft. Great. The Moon is squaring the US Pluto, I don't like to say outloud what that could mean. Nancy, loved the grapfruit site, thank you for that bit of information, I am going to order some too, their information is great.
