The Power of Blue
July 17, 2004, 7:24 AM Washington, DC
From "Finding Opportunity Periods", by Jim Shawvan. "Finding Opportunity Periods
Step 1: Determine when the Moon is Void of Course (V/C). The Moon is said to be Void of Course from the time it makes the last Ptolemaic ("major") aspect in a sign until it enters the next sign. The Ptolemaic aspects are the conjunction, opposition, square, trine and sextile. In eight of the twelve signs of the Zodiac, Moon Void periods are definitely NOT Opportunity Periods. In the other four signs, however, they are! According to the 17th-century English master William Lilly, the Moon in the signs of the Moon and Jupiter "performeth somewhat". Horary guru Lee Lehman says that she has taken this to the bank many times - and so have I! The signs of the Moon and Jupiter are:
Prisoners Sodomised ~
Seymour Hersh, who reported on the torture of the prisoners in New Yorker magazine in May, told an audience in San Francisco that "it's worse". But he added that he would reveal the extent of the abuses: "I'm not done reporting on all this," he told a meeting of the American Civil Liberties Union.
This New Moon invites us to deepen our attunement with the feminine aspect of consciousness. The word ³matter² comes from the same root as the word for ³mother²

Morgana, you just take my breath away! I don't know what astrologically is going on with you, Nancy, Sally, et al., but it is producing some magnificent work. Since this Cancer moon is part of my lunar return--well, I bow my head in gratitude. And for this awesome article, too. Posted by: on July 18, 2004 02:56 AMMorgana, You are really listening. I was waiting for your wisdom words. Mother = matter. Wonderful description. If not then we may truly be on the irrevocable path to the second American revolution demanding (at the very least) Thank you Morgana! So lively and creative and rings of truth that shines through my heart. All our wonderful states in their full glory are going to go blue, and in my bravado I am including the great state of Texas. The poor and downtrodden and unemployed and underemployed have suffered in Texas perhaps more than any other state in the union. Posted by: Laurie on July 18, 2004 09:45 AMWhile we see the states as blue, we should also be very aware of the following: E-Democracy: Stealing the Election in 2004 George W. Bush has stated: "I don’t plan on losing my job."(1) What the president neglects to mention is that he is willing to use any means necessary to stay in power, including stealing the November 2004 election. Americans will never know the real vote totals because there will not be a paper trail. All three black box computer manufacturers are Republican-led corporations actively involved in Bush’s re-election campaign Corporations have privatized the election process and now potentially control the votes. Plan A is simply to "buy" the election with the multi-million dollar advertising campaign now in progress. Plan B is another Orange Code terror alert, similar to the ones manufactured five times since September 11, 2001. The use of a Red Code alert, which according to Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge "basically shuts down the country," is also a real possibility. In short, if you can’t "buy" the votes of the American people, you can "scare" them into voting for Bush, with or without an actual terrorist attack. 2 Plan B, in it’s most extreme form, involves a military coup (disguised as emergency measures) and the suspension of the U.S. Constitution. This is the scenario outlined by retired General Tommy Franks in November, 2003.3 (See Maureen Farrell’s article on page. ) Plan C involves what might be described as "a bloodless coup" by secretly rigging the 2004 election. The new black box computer voting machines leave absolutely no verifiable paper trail. Hence, there will be no way to double check a disputed election. Interestingly enough, all three black box computer manufacturers are Republican-led corporations actively involved in Bush’s re-election campaign. --More-- Posted by: Laurie on July 18, 2004 09:55 AMDon't think Ahhhhhnold can be on a stamp even if he wanted too - I was under the impression that the #2 rule of determining who/what gets put on a stamp is that no LIVING person shall be considered?? Absolute faith http://www.gendergappers.org/2004-029.htm WE STOPPED THINKING That's right. Following the election of President Clinton, Liberals stopped thinking about tomorrow. They let their minds and hearts get fat and lazy while the Conservatives fed their political beasts and sponsored more and more hate filled talk shows. Libs seemed to blow off the stirring song that led Clinton/Gore to victory and 8 years in the White House. Cons kept hate alive by constantly going after President Clinton and everyone in his administration. Eight long years and it cost the Libs plenty. Look at where they are after 3-1/2 years of Bush. Conservative media is rampant on network and cable TV, many newspapers and magazines. The Libs (only belatedly) have Air America Radio, some great columnists/books and Fahrenheit 9/11. Is it too little too late? The signs go this way and that but one thing is clear. Liberals still shy away from the name "Liberal." This is unconscionable. It is the Cons who have contrived to make it a dirty word by intonation and by constantly linking it with tax and spend in their negative ads. More..... There is strength in numbers. Posted by: Pat C on July 18, 2004 05:34 PMOne of these days, I would like to make the time to do a history of the term "liberal," and combine it with a list of liberal accomplishments. I'm sure there are articles about this on the net, but I cannot do this research for a while. If someone else want to and has the time, it would be good to have some good PR available about us liberals. Of course, all terms like "liberal," "conservative," "Democrat," "Republican," are generalizations/stereotypes and can be used negatively or positively. It would be good, however, to have some specific information on positive liberal-driven accomplishments to build up a new, reframed picture of the term so people can realize just how much we have contributed to this great country of ours. Thanks, Morgana, for a great article. GO BLUE! Ted Kennedy, well then there's Senator Byrd, but no one is listening. If you do find one let us know! Heavy times, people! One positive thing that is emerging is the trend (so amply illustrated by all the articles you've posted above) toward uncovering and broadcasting the truth. That more and more thoughtful and documented articles sounding the alarm are being produced also means, does it not, that more and more people are interested in knowing the truth? I think so. To turn to our favorite trivial matter: Ahhhhhhhhhhhnold has proposed giving the state prison guards union a contract that is so lavish that it gives the lie to his sputtering around about belt-tightening, program cutting, etc. Yesterday, however, he truly out-did himself. BREAKING: Enron E-Mail Has DeLay in Hot Water http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/071904Y.shtml In only a few e-mails, Enron employees laid bare the reality of politics: the money trail from companies seeking favors from lawmakers with the power to grant them. The e-mails circulated among Enron officials in 2000 and 2001, before the collapse of the Houston energy company, are under review by the House ethics committee, which is considering whether to investigate the fund-raising activities of the No. 2 leader in the House, Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas. Enron officials map out in the e-mail how to get the most for their financial contributions, while politicians compete for credit in securing large campaign donations from the company. The e-mails "really do pull the curtain back and give you a view of how it's done," said Larry Noble, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks political contributions and spending. Attention has refocused on the e-mails since a Texas Democrat filed an ethics complaint last month against DeLay. Rep. Chris Bell accused the majority leader of soliciting and accepting political contributions from a Kansas energy company, Westar Energy Inc., in return for legislative favors. DeLay's office denies there was any quid pro quo. DeLay contends Bell filed the complaint because Bell is bitter over losing his primary race in March. What DeLay and other politicians cannot deny is that the Enron e-mails illustrate the nature of political fund raising. "The e-mails are an indication of what goes on behind closed doors," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, an ethics watchdog group that has filed suits over political fund-raising. Both Democrats and Republicans, he said, "engage in a shell game that from outside may look at times technically legal, but when you get these communications on contributions solicited for the campaign, their technical arguments fall apart." In an e-mail from May 31, 2001, Enron lobbyists Rick Shapiro and Linda Robertson discuss a $50,000 contribution solicited by Republican organizations for a dinner saluting President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. "With the assistance of Congressman Tom DeLay we were able to apply our previously contributed soft money toward this dinner. Consequently, we will be credited as giving $250,000 to this event, even though we are being asked to give only $50,000 in new soft money," according to the e-mail sent to Enron's now ex-chairman, Kenneth Lay, and a second executive. Soft money contributions are made by companies and individuals to political parties. These donations to parties were outlawed by a campaign finance law that went into effect in 2002. Other organizations still can accept soft money dollars but are limited in how they can spend them. The e-mails show "pretty clearly corporations were being asked for contributions by members of Congress who held the fate of legislation important to corporations in their hands," said Trevor Potter, president and general counsel of the Campaign Legal Center, a campaign finance monitoring group. Namaste http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=2-0393059421-1 Senator Robert Byrd has a new book out. Losing America: Confronting a Reckless and Arrogant Presidency In the months and years following September 11, Senator Robert C. Byrd has viewed with alarm what he considers to be a "slow unraveling of the people's liberties," when all dissenting voices were stilled and awesome power swung suddenly to the president to fight a "war on terror." This path violates historic American principles — it shows no regard for the balance of powers or the role of the Congress; it invades our privacy; and it eliminates public participation in and understanding of government. Swept along, we have entered a war without proper consideration and rushed dangerous legislation through Congress. Now is the time to regain the Constitution, to return to the values and processes that made America great. Byrd does not shrink from speaking the truth to an ever more aggressive and imperial White House. Followers of Vietnamese Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh have replaced the rattle of machine guns with the ringing of sacred bells. They have repainted and repaired bullet-scarred buildings. Their 400-acre Deer Park Monastery now features a light-filled meditation hall, a waterfall, a fish pond and Zen sayings posted throughout the grounds: Breathe, you are alive. In the four years since they purchased the land, however, the Buddhists have been tackling even more challenging transformations: helping Hollywood entertainers, teenage runaways, inner-city youth, gang members and others tame their personal demons and find peace with themselves. At a recent retreat for the film and television industry, for instance, Nhat Hanh preached the importance of self-love to an assembly of artists including comedian Garry Shandling and producer Larry Kasanoff, who spearheaded the gathering. "You don't need to pretend to be someone else. You don't need plastic surgery," the soft-spoken Nhat Hanh said, setting off a ripple of laughter from the crowd. With such teachings, the monastics of Nhat Hanh's Unified Buddhist Church hope to equip people across different faiths and cultures to practice "mindfulness" -- the cultivation of inner calm in daily life through breathing deeply, slowing down and living fully in the present. We may see an increase in babble over this issue or another one to irritate Kerry in the next couple of days, but then things will subside. Sandy Berger is a HERO in my book! He is the one who told Condi Rice to put terrorism at the top of the list - she denies he said so. He's smart and been around the block once or twice... maybe he thought some papers were classified simply to keep info from the public... maybe those same documents shed some light on this administration and its misdeeds... maybe he'd rather have the info out and even be fined or imprisoned for 'taking it' ---- maybe he's a pearl in an oyster! Whatever, you can bet we haven't heard the last of this... ---------- No. 1 --- since when does ONE planet's (or in this case an asteroid) transit tell the entire story? No. 2 --- Chiron was last in Aquarius in 1955 and into the 60s... The 1950s were an era in which people tried to assess and react to the changes unleashed by the 1940s. On New Year's Eve, 1955, there were only 5 independent nations in the whole continent; ten years later, there were 38. In domestic politics (and therefore invisible on the map), the 1960s were dominated by the coming of age of the generation which had been born after the Second World War. Because the birth rate had soared in the late 1940's following a major plummet during the previous bad times, this was probably the largest and most cohesive single generation of the century. The world's biggest country saw the biggest manifestation as the Cultural Revolution shook China. Here the Communist leadership used the young, idealistic Red Guards to break the power of the entrenched bureacracy -- and then used the Army to break the Red Guards. In Czechoslovakia, an idealistic move towards a less repressive regime provoked a Soviet invasion. In the United States, the youth movement focused its energies opposing American involvement in the Vietnamese Civil War, while in France, student rebellion almost brought down the government. In regards to the Sandy Berger incident, I get this strange feeling that Berger took those documents deliberately. I have a lurking suspicion that the investigation into this incident may reveal something critical that has nothing to do with the incident itself. It seems to me almost as if Berger was trying to get caught doing this for some reason...that by getting caught, Berger would force some piece of information into the public eye that would not have otherwise been know. Below is a copy of McAuliffe's official letter of request. Melanie Ann Pustay, Deputy Director July 21, 2004 Dear Ms. Pustay: This letter constitutes a request under the Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), 5 U.S.C. §552, and is submitted on behalf of the Democratic National Committee. According to recent reporting, an investigation into former National Security Adviser Samuel Berger has been going on for at least nine months, since October 2003. Yet, the criminal investigation only came to light three days prior to the release of a report expected to be critical of the Bush administration's lack of focus on the events leading up to the 9-11 attacks. As conservative scholar Norm Ornstein stated, "you can't look at the timing of this with anything but an enormous amount of skepticism." [CNN, 7/20/04] In light of the seriousness of the possibility that the Bush administration and the Department of Justice have politicized an ongoing investigation, it is imperative that this Freedom of Information request is responded to in an expedited manner. Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552 and the regulations of the Department of Justice, 28 C.F.R. §16.3, I am requesting copies of the following: Any and all communications relating or referring to the investigation of Samuel ("Sandy") Berger, between, correspondence (including electronic mail) between, memoranda between, phone records of communications between, meeting notes and/or minutes of meetings between, on the one hand, any official or employee of the US Department of Justice AND, on the other hand, (i) the Executive Office of the President or any unit or office thereof (including but not limited to the Office of the Vice President); (ii) any official, employee, or representative of the Republican National Committee; OR (iii) any official, employee or representative of the Bush-Cheney 2004 presidential campaign. This request covers all documents created during the period from and including October 1, 2003 through and including July 20, 2004. For your purposes in filling this request, please consider me under the category of "all other organizations," as defined by the Freedom of Information Act. If there are any fees for copying or searching for the records I have requested, please inform me of the cost prior to searching or copying, and only if the total exceeds $100. If all or any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption which you believe justifies your refusal to release the information and inform me of your agency's administrative appeal procedures available to me under the law. Please provide all information on a rolling basis if possible. I appreciate your handling of this request as quickly as possible and I look forward to hearing from you within 20 working days, as the law stipulates. If you have any questions or need further information concerning the above request, please contact me at the address below or at 202-863-8121. Thank you for your attention to this request. Sincerely, Terence R. McAuliffe, Chairman Beverly, the short para on Bush is in his "All of Us Here" article which was recently posted. But I don’t think he loves us — the people who make up this land. The huddled masses. The millions of citizens who just want a peaceful, safe life. Those who want to put their kids through school and see them grow up; who want to take vacations to other countries without fearing for their lives because so much of the world hates us. I don’t think you lie to people you love. I don’t think you send them off into dangerous situations on the basis of murky, cobbled-together information that isn’t really information at all. I don’t think you keep them scared all the time. I don’t think you respond to horrors like public beheadings with cowboy slogans that sound like they came from old John Wayne movies. The official daily al-Sabah quoted the sources as saying the missiles were discovered in trenches near the city of Tikrit, the hometown of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. "The three missiles were discovered by chance when the Iraqi security forces captured former Baath party official Khoder al-Douri who revealed during interrogation the location of the missiles saying they carried nuclear heads," the sources said. They pointed out that the missiles were actually discovered in the trenches lying under six meters of concrete and designed in a way to unable sophisticated sensors from discovering nuclear radiation. The sources said al-Douri, who is related to former Vice Chairman of the Iraq Revolution Council and Saddam's right-hand man Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, was captured after Iraqi police intercepted an e-mail message in which he set a meeting with another former Baath official. The report could not be authenticated by the interior ministry or the national security department, but the paper noted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zibari made a surprise request recently to Mohammed el-Baradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to resume inspections for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Baghdad, Iraq, Jul. 21 (UPI) -- A U.S. military official Wednesday denied a report of Iraqi missiles carrying nuclear warheads being found in a concrete trench northwest of Baghdad. The daily al-Sabah newspaper Wednesday had quoted sources as saying three missiles armed with nuclear warheads were discovered in a trench near the city of Tikrit, the hometown of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. A U.S. military spokesman in Tikrit told United Press International that the report was untrue. "Nothing's been found. The report is not factual," said Master Sgt. Robert Cowens, a spokesman for the 1st Infantry Division, based in Tikrit. The newspaper reported the three missiles were discovered by chance when Iraqi security forces captured former Baath party official Khoder al-Douri who revealed during interrogation the location of the missiles saying they carried nuclear warheads. Al-Sabah said that the missiles were discovered in a trench under six meters of concrete, designed to evade sophisticated sensors. A spokesman with Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's office told UPI that the report concerning the alleged missiles and warheads emerged "while gathering information for Saddam Hussein's tribunal" during the interrogation of a captured former official of Saddam's regime. I can't answer your question, and I'm sure it's rhetorical, about the lefty Jewish Demos becoming Repugs... unless it's his support of Sharon... who IMHO is not looking out for Israel... think Patti Davis' comments about Bush and lack of love of America posted above, and apply same to Sharon and Israel... that's sort of how I see that... so, primarily perhaps those who are the most insecure in America aggress the most? Perhaps they look to an aggressor to find the security they need? But that doesn't bring security, does it... it brings more aggression. It's pretty basic, same thing I tell the grandchildren about conflict resolution. But most grownups don't get it... yet... we're still hoping, though, aren't we? I left Charleston when I was 18... the vibrations there are difficult for me... probably my lifetimes as a slave, sometimes white, sometimes of color... but the place reeks of pain... except for small pockets... my gggrandmother's home, is very peaceful, because she was... her energy is still there, in her son who is an angel walking the earth... married to a blind woman who 'sees' more than I do! There's the bizarre investigation of Sandy Burglar, as the respected former national security adviser has now been dubbed, pulling a Fawn Hall and smuggling stuff out of the National Archives in his fine washables. And just when you thought the Bush foreign policy couldn't sound more chuckleheaded, revelations in the 9/11 commission report being released today elevated the Bush doctrine to an Ali G skit. The most astute prophet of the administration's Middle East muddle is Sacha Baron Cohen, the hilarious British comedian whose Ali G character is an uninformed gangsta rapper interviewing unwitting V.I.P.'s. This Sunday, HBO will run Ali G's interview with Pat Buchanan, in which he presses the broadcaster about why no "B.L.T.'s" were found in Iraq. Mr. Buchanan plays along, but it's not clear if he actually thinks there were B.L.T.'s in Saddam's arsenal. (Mr. Cohen speculated in The Times later that Mr. Buchanan might have thought it was argot for "ballistic long-range-trajectory missiles.") More....

Namaste Posted by: Jo on July 23, 2004 12:05 AMHere we go, we're through the looking glass again: Japan to Deport Chess Great Bobby Fischer NARITA, Japan - The Japanese government is preparing to deport American chess legend Bobby Fischer for staying in this country on an invalid passport, immigration officials said Tuesday. Immigration officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that Fischer, 61, has been held in their custody since, and said he was being processed for deportation. They refused to give further details, but said he could appeal their decision. They said they did not know how long the deportation process would take. A request by The Associated Press to meet with Fischer was denied by the airport immigration office, which cited "privacy concerns." Fischer, believed by many to be the greatest chess player ever, has lived in seclusion and semi-secrecy for decades. It remains unclear where he considers home, but after he was taken into custody, friends here said he frequently traveled, staying for short durations in Japan, the Philippines, Germany and other countries. He was believed to have been in Japan since about April. Miyoko Watai, a member of the Japan Chess Association and a friend of Fischer, said he did not know that his passport had been revoked when he tried to leave Japan last week. She indicated that Fischer intended to appeal any effort to deport him. Fischer became the U.S. chess champion at age 14, and a grandmaster at 15. He became an icon in the United States when he defeated Soviet world champion Boris Spassky in a series of games in Reykjavik, Iceland. The games, in 1972, came at the height of the Cold War and were hailed in the United States as a major victory. His hero status quickly faded amid his increasingly eccentric behavior, however. He lost his title as world champion in 1978 and then largely vanished from the public eye. Fischer is wanted in the United States for playing a rematch against Spassky in Yugoslavia in 1992. Yugoslavia was under international sanctions at the time, and U.S. citizens were banned from doing business there. Fischer won the match, and more than $3 million in prize money. Speaking to the San Jose Mercury News, Fischer's brother-in-law blasted the Bush administration Monday for Fischer's arrest in Japan, saying he is a pawn in a game of election-year politics. "What Bobby's accused of is playing chess 12 years ago in Yugoslavia," said Russell Targ, a former Stanford laser physicist whose late wife was Fischer's sister. "It looks like it's a distraction from the war and the economy. Let's arrest Bobby Fischer. That will take people's minds off their troubles." About time someone in print pointed out one of the obvious! * Double-Time March to War One aspect of Michael Moore's documentary film, "Fahrenheit 9/11," that you won't hear repubs denouncing is a 2001 video clip of Colin Powell calling Saddam Hussein no threat. Audiences react with shocked murmurs. The film doesn't explain the context, a 2/24/01, diplomatic mtg in Cairo. Pressed by Egyptian Prez Hosni Mubarak about the Iraqi people's suffering under US economic sanctions, Powell reminded his audience that they existed to check Saddam's ambitions. "And frankly," he added, "they have worked. He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors." Not only was Iraq no danger to the US, it had no capacity to menace such powerhouses as Jordan & Kuwait. So why are we reading news accts like this in July 2004: "Saddam's army posed little threat [Nooo... NO THREAT!!!!!], Senate panel says" & "Panel describes long weakening of Hussein army." Almost 1,000 American & an est'd 10,000 Iraqi [Peoples'] deaths & a strategic nightmare later, we have come full circle. But Michael Moore had to tell you. So how come nobody important in what The Nation columnist Eric Alterman calls the "so-called liberal media" pressed the sec of state to explain himself before the war, when it might have made some difference? Good question. ... The 911 Commission Report is being released today. Pretty thick --- but the pundits are all ready I'm sure to say it was a "government" failure... Barnes & Nobel is to have copies available. Something to think about. Did the non partisan commission ask the questions some of us have? You know, about how those cell phone calls were made? Or, why the F16s didn't appear? Just two of hundreds. Anyway, since I'm a known cage rattler... here's a link to USA Today article on testing of cell phone operation in air completed and what a success the test was... confidence is high that they will be useful in the air, pending FAA approval, of course. And I bet you thought they were already useable in the air, right? well, don't take my word... I'm one of those 'tin-foil hat conspirators' you know, can't believe what I say. Read the article though http://www.usatoday.com/money/biztravel/2004-07-19-aircells_x.htm The race is on to enable airline passengers to make and receive cell phone calls in flight. ------------- At the time of the first WTC crash, three F-16s assigned to Andrews Air Force Base 10 miles from Washington are flying an air-to-ground training mission on a range in North Carolina, 207 miles away. Eventually they are recalled to Andrews and land there at some point after Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon. [Aviation Week and Space Technology, 9/9/02] F-16s can travel a maximum speed of 1500 mph. Traveling even at 1100 mph, the speed NORAD Major General Larry Arnold says two fighters from Massachusetts travel toward Flight 175, at least one of the F-16s could have returned to Washington within 10 minutes and started patrolling the skies well before 9:00 a.m. Why are they recalled so late, and then ordered back to base (and then to take off again) instead of being sent straight to Washington? If you read the report released today, let me know if you run across the quesion on the F16s... I live near what the locals refer to as the "bomb plant" --- where they make parts for bombs --- the government moved an entire town, including cemeteries, in the 1950s to build the plant... NO planes are allowed to fly over the site... try it, and you'll be met and escorted down by an F16, before you get minutes into the airspace... in fact, you can't drive through the plant site, you drive around it to get to other parts of SC, and you get a little ticket that's stamped with the time, and when you exit the site, you show the ticket with stamp... if you took too long, you have to answer to someone... been this way for 50 years... folks driving to Hilton Head from here go around the site as much as possible, but have to enter and exit at certain points... unless they want to circumvent the plant altogether, and go another route, about 90 mins. longer... I'm telling you folks this for a reason. Question the report... look for answers to questions they didn't bother to ask. Oh, and one other thing... I understand from some who have 'flipped through the pages' that they don't mostly ask questions of those in the administration... in other words, those folks at the helm on 9/11. That strikes me as a mistake right there. GUESS WHAT? the 911 commission did not call either of these 'Cassandra’s' to discuss their pre-cognitive abilities given that their report outlined the flaws that needed correction. WHY YOU ASK? because to do so would place bushco in the obvious position of having IGNORED THIS REPORT. every particle of a hologram contains all of the information needed to construct the image. i believe that this small part of the report methodology is of holographic-like value; it contains all we need to know about the completeness of the 911 report. they blew it and they should be ashamed. why couldn't just one of them stand up and make this point? because, its all part of the 'greater good for the nation' excuse that members of the Warren Comission, et al, make: the truth subordinate to the 'greater good.' they will live in infamy—which given the cyberage, will start shortly!!!

Well, this time I want to comment on past lives....because I see there is a bit of a theme....and today I discovered this on the KabbalaOnline.org web site (I have studied Kabbala a bit, and I am not Jewish...although people often think I am, so must be all the past lives! Judi " The responsibility The Jewish understanding of reincarnation is different from Buddhist doctrines. It in no way leads to fatalism. At every point of moral decision in his life, a Jew has complete free choice. If not for freedom of choice, how unfair it would be of G-d to make demands of us - especially when reward and punishment is involved! Reincarnation does not imply pre-determination. It is, rather, an opportunity for rectification and soul-perfection. The holy Ari explained it most simply: every Jew must fulfill all 613 mitzvot, and if he doesn't succeed in one lifetime, he comes back again and again until he finishes. For this reason, events in a person's life may lead him towards certain places, encounters, etc., in ways that may or may not make sense. Divine providence provides each person with the opportunities he needs to fulfill those particular mitzvot necessary for the perfection of his soul. But the responsibility lies with us. At the actual moment of decision in any given situation, the choice is ours. One of the ways in which heaven maintains our ability to exercise complete freedom of choice is by not allowing us conscious knowledge of previous incarnations. Consequently, it might seem to some people that there is little practical benefit in being aware of this doctrine. Furthermore, many scholars contend that these mystical concepts can easily be misunderstood, or carried to erroneous and misleading conclusions. We can therefore understand why this and similar subjects are only hinted at in scripture, and why some knowledge and a great deal of determination are often required in order to gain access to this information. Then I remembered why it seemed so familiar. I thumped my own forehead like a good V8 juice user because I always forget. A sort-of waking vision came to me once when I was particularly stressed about a pile-up of intractable events in my life. I was floating above a vast ocean. An old sailing ship… about 17th or 18th C… was also floating, but in the water ;O). Well, up blew a raging storm… very scary. The old ship was being hit by lightning… huge streaks of it. Uh oh… one mast about to go down. Horribly concerned, I projected a blast of inner energy to repair the mast! Ohps!! Lightning put a huge hole in the side of the ship. Started to repair that & another blast cracks a 2nd mast! You get the idea; I was frantic. Then a Voice off to my left chuckled & It said: “Gracious, my dear... why be afraid about that old ship? It’s time to let it go. Why so limit & trouble yourself? Why not become the sky/ocean?” (HA! something to that effect) Well, why not indeed! WhaddaGREAT IDEA! So I opened up to become the All… pictured as the Sky/ Ocean. The storm immediately disappeared… there was blue, blue sky & blue, blue ocean with sparkling waves from the sunlight. There was great Peace & a deep delightful sense that All was well. In reality, the storm was wonderful, too, with its high energizing chaotic energy. It is also part of the All.
