Clarke, Bush and Rice, a Triangle of Souls by Isabelle Ghaneh
Richard Clarke, in the profile so eloquently and beautifully expressed by Sally McDonald, has all the earmarks of a person who is strong, bold and fiercely committed to the truth. His rising sign in Gemini at 0 degrees gives Clarke the candor and the ability to speak freely and powerfully about matters close to the heart and mind. This is a thinking man, make no doubt about it. He is not glib, as many Geminis can be, not with the penetrating Scorpio Sun and watery emotional Cancer Moon. He is too sensitive and too intelligent for that. He is the real McCoy as Sally says, he means what he says and he says what he means, and doesn’t suffer fools gladly (one can only imagine the torment this man must have suffered through with Bush as President and Commander in Chief).
Condi Rice’s ascendant is in Aquarius at 3 degrees. Now normally Aquarius is a very far thinking, far reaching sign, the sign of the humanitarian, the sign of the emancipated theorist. Sometimes though it can be the sign of the stubborn fanatic, the one whose ideals do not match up with the reality of the times they live in. Rice may have been left behind somewhere down the line, encapsulated in the cold war theories she studied at college. It’s like she got stuck in an old James Bond movie from the mid 60’s and never came out again. Scorpio, her Sun sign, like Clarke’s, is a fixed sign and Aquarius is a fixed sign. These people don’t budge easily and they find it hard to give up their notions about who runs the world and why and how.
Rice’s ascendant is 3 degrees away from Clarke’s 10th house, which are both conjunct Bush’s 7th house. You see how neatly they all tie together. Rice’s sense of self (1st) is conjunct with Bush’s sense of the other (7th). Clarke’s sense of how the world views us (10th) is conjunct with her 1st and Bush‘s 7th.
But Clarke’s views don’t mesh with out-dated, out-landish world views. His Aquarius 10th is more progressive than that, and therein lies the trouble. Bush may be a cold warrior, blaming Saddam for everything and anything wrong in the world. Rice may toddle along after him, her Moon in Cancer at 18 degrees conjunct Bush’s Sun. She sees Bush as a mentor and as a strong father figure.
Clarke’s 4th house cusp is at 6 degrees of Leo, directly conjunct George Bush’s ascendant and Condi Rice’s descendant. Clarke’s sense of security, the security of his country and his homeland, is strong, proud and determined . That should have put Clarke and Bush and Rice together with a common goal, but it didn’t, not when they each had such differing viewpoints on what makes their country secure. That sense of Leo protectiveness that Clarke feels towards his home led him to take drastic steps to challenge what he considered to be an inept and ruinous course of action taken by the Bush Administration.
Rice’s Saturn at 13 degrees of Scorpio is exactly trine Bush’s Cancer Sun, showing the amount of trust she has in him. Her Neptune at 26 Libra is conjunct Bush’s 4th house and opposite his 10th house. She is very taken in by his dialogue regarding homeland security, no matter how far from the truth it may be.
But there are some chinks in the armor she surrounds herself with. Her Mercury, the most elevated planet in her chart, is at 2 degrees of Scorpio, conjunct Clarke’s Sun, Mercury and Venus, and square Bush’s Mercury and Ascendant. Surely she must be intellectually aware of Bush’s lies and distortions, and Clarke’s basic honesty, since she is fundamentally a learned individual. She is truly not as stupid as George Bush (who could be, really?). She may be very cowed by him, due to her Moon/Sun connection and her Jupiter/Saturn conjunction to him, but in her mind she must be aware of his true colors. Neptune conjunct his 4th house encourages her to put on rose colored glasses every time he speaks.
Rice and Bush both have strong connections to Clarke’s chart. Rice’s Mars at 16 Aquarius is opposite Clarke’s Pluto at 19 degrees Leo. I am aware that Pluto is a generational planet, but even so, to have a Mars/Pluto opposition is heavy duty stuff. Not everyone who passes someone with Pluto at 19 degrees of Leo will share it. Rice and Clarke do. Although her Mercury is closely aligned with Clarke’s Sun, Mercury and Venus, she has this terrible opposition to deal with. It’s as if they both trigger each other, and in the most intense ways.
Clarke’s Sun, Mercury and Venus at 6, 5 and 3 degrees Scorpio respectively, all square Bush’s ascendant at 7 degrees of Leo and his Mercury and Pluto at 9 and 10 degrees Leo. Clarke’s sense of self, his mental and emotional energies, are all at loggerheads with Bush. The do not get along and they do not meet on the same wavelength. They are not in competition with each other, they are at cross-purposes with each other.
Clarke’s Gemini ascendant at 0 degrees (which by the way is where transiting Mars was the day he gave his interview to 60 Minutes) is trine Rice’s ascendant at 3 degrees. There really is mental flow between them with both Gemini and Aquarius being air signs. The aspects all point to Rice knowing on an intellectual level the validity of Clarke’s statements and her inability to deal with it is what causes her Mars to speak out against his and so angrily too.
Bush’s Venus is opposite Rice’s Mars and conjunct Clarke’s Pluto. Quite a little triangle. The opposition of Venus and Mars is sexually exciting but sexually frustrating also. I am not saying that Rice and Bush have any sort of love affair whatsoever or even have thoughts or actions leading them in that direction, but a Venus/Mars opposition always adds some sexual fission to any encounter. Pluto conjoin Venus brings emotional depth and intensity in any encounter. Bush’s Sun and Rice’s Moon are square Clarke’s Neptune at 17 degrees of Libra. Clarke really does not buy into their fantasy world and he sees through their delusions.
Clarke, Bush and Rice come together and then fall apart. They interact in very emotional, volatile ways and their three-way relationship has spawned a lot of fierce in-fighting one way and another.
The Full Moon in Libra at 16 degrees touches several key points in the Bush chart, as will the eclipse April 19th at 29 degrees in Aries. Rice’s Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, i.e. her 3rd, 6th and 9th houses will be affected also.
I leave it to the other astrologers on board to mine the vast array of information for the coming transits, progressions and eclipses, not to mention Rice’s 9/11 testimony and Bush’s Saturn transits.

repug rogues have stopped the medicare inquiry from proceeding by saying Scully and Badger need
not testify as if these are classified secrets.
There is an ex FBI agent named Sibel Edmonds who
on an interview 2 days ago had said that FBI warned the admin.stupid fools on the White House
about the imminent attack on April'01 and so if
Rice says she was not warned, it is an utter white
lie under oath and is perjury and must be sent to jail for that. Watch out. I think this scandal is
going to blow up these cronies out of their cushy
jobs soon! April to Aug is like 7 1/2 year Saturn
Sade for these arrogant ones.
Sally,
ANOTHER wonderful article from you. The time, effort and expertise you put into this is evident in every phrase. I do have one quick question though, concerning Eclipses, more specifically the one on April 19 at 29 Aries: being one who has some planets close to that degree (Saturn 24 Aries, Venus 26 Aries and Moon 3 Taurus) how might one be affected by this Eclipse? I ask just because I know NOTHING about Eclipses and suspect there are others like me who are curious as well.
Thank you. Looking forward to everyone else's comments as well!
Jonathan
Isabelle,
Thank you for your insight into the dynamics of this trio --- your writing is so flowing and fluid, they seem too mesh, then you point out the irritation, the friction... you bring clarity to an otherwise muddied picture... I can see thru your eyes why the three never sat in the same room together! I appreciate your concentrating this effort into such a short period of time (since we got the dob and time on Clarke)... Again, thanks so much for your fine assessment of this triangle.
Peace
I love this article because I am very interested in synastry and so much of their personal interactions are explained here. I think Rice is caught between a rock and a hard place. She probably feels it's impossible to back down now.
Add oil to that mix. Rice & Bush are after oil and riches for themselves and their cronies. Clarke wants to protect our country.
Oh Jonathan thank you so much but this fantastic article is from Isabelle. And I know she will love your appreciation of it.
whoops sorry Jonathan I didn't answer your question, your planets are too far away. Count 1 degree on either side.
I actually looked to see who the author was on both the Welcome Page and the Article itself and can't believe I missed Isabelle's name! Is it posted? It must be. So, wonderful work Isabelle. I always enjoy your work.
Thanks for the heads-up with Eclipses, Sally.
Jonathan
Oops! The Author is right at the top in BIG BOLD BLACK LETTERS!!!!!!
Yeah, I'm blushin'. LOL
Jonathan
No reason to blush, Jonathan. You were obviously quite impressed with the article and wanted to offer your gratitude soon's possible.
Very, very enlightening Isabelle. I appreciate your mention of all the aspects and the effects on each of them. I would only have hoped that professionals in such high positions would overcome differences, but hey, this is the neocon Bush administration.
This is a wonderful site and the astrologers here are the best. I'm so glad you have begun writing regularly here on Astroworld Isabelle. This one has really helped me to understand some of the complexities, and they are many.
Thanky you.
So, I wonder how Dick Cheney fits in with this triangle. Gary Hart apparently has indicated that the ball was in HIS court.
--------
Well, let me just go through the history of things. Because we also sent copies of the report to every member of Congress. And we lobbied specific members of Congress, including Joe Lieberman, who took it very seriously. And in the spring of 2001, some members of Congress introduced legislation to create a homeland security agency. Hearings were scheduled. And our commission, which was scheduled to go out of operation on Feb. 15, 2001, was given a six-month extension so we could testify with some authority. Which we did in March and April.
And then as Congress started to move on this, and the heat was turned up, George Bush -- and this is often overlooked -- held a press conference or made a public statement on May 5, 2001, calling on Congress not to act and saying he was turning over the whole matter to Dick Cheney.

shylurker,

I guess I am just appalled. This atrocity has been going on for so many years I have figured out where to look. I really hope it helps everybody since there is no real mainstream press now.
Well tht was me above.

Prosecutors Are Said to Have Expanded Inquiry Into Leak of C.I.A. Officer's Name
Prosecutors investigating whether someone in the Bush administration improperly disclosed the identity of a C.I.A. officer have expanded their inquiry to examine whether White House officials lied to investigators or mishandled classified information related to the case, lawyers involved in the case and government officials say.
In looking at violations beyond the original focus of the inquiry, which centered on a rarely used statute that makes it a felony to disclose the identity of an undercover intelligence officer intentionally, prosecutors have widened the range of conduct under scrutiny and for the first time raised the possibility of bringing charges peripheral to the leak itself.
The expansion of the inquiry's scope comes at a time when prosecutors, after a hiatus of about a month, appear to be preparing to seek additional testimony before a federal grand jury, lawyers with clients in the case said. It is not clear whether the renewed grand jury activity represents a concluding session or a prelude to an indictment.

Appalled? I think that many of us who regard ourselves as inseparably tied to the USA (think Declaration of Indepence, Constitution and Bill of Rights), to social justice, human rights and civil liberties are wondering if we are the remnants of an age that is rapidly passing or, perhaps more accurately, has passed. We organized, we marched, we lifted our voices, we stopped "The Machine", we yelled "1-2-3-4, we don't want your fucking war" and we put flowers down the barrels of guns. Where is the outrage today? Is it simply that the venue has changed? That demonstrations are a thing of the past and blogs are where it's happening? I met a young woman the other day who was amazed that the fetal law had passed. She was stretched out on her chair at work and mustered up a frown. I demanded to know why she was not out on the streets in outrage. She couldn't answer me.
Keep going! We can't win this thing if we can't motivate! The huge question is: how do we motivate?
I don't know shylurker. I was wondering where people were when the witch hunt on Clinton was taking place.....and now all of this. It has been one atrocity after another and the beat goes on. I think the saturation point is coming. I have a feeling it won't be attractive and we will never be the same again. There has been too much damage.
I have to add that I revile terrorists and their goal of killling as many innocent people as possible along with their obvious quest to rule the world. The problem is that this administration has chosen the wrong way to deal with these enemies because like the Farengi (sp?) they just can't imagine living without making a profit. I am absolutely sure they will extract every last dollar, euro, yen, etc. from every man woman and child on the face of the earth, and not blink an eye. They are in their own way the killers of dreams.
Letterman Top Ten Things the Commission will be Afraid to ask Condelezza Rice
Number 4: Where did you get that cool Haliburton Sweat Shirt
Number 1: What kind of jobs are you and Bush looking for starting in 2005
Thanks ever so much, Pat. It takes courage, it seems, to even think along these lines. You, of course, have much courage. I just wish our country-men and -women could tap into your source.
shylurker, you give me waaay too much credit......but I like it!! Thank you.
Sally, I missed Letterman again! He's stepping out! He's a brave commedian. :-D
I just finished watching Dr. Wayne Dyer doing a fundraiser for PBS - featured was his material "the power of intention." It was fabulous and very timely for this dangerous world of today. If more people like him were to give of themselves by passing on practical knowledge to raise the consciousness of people on this planet, and those people can practice those talents, maybe when good thoughts get to critical mass, things will start to change. If anyone gets a chance to see this program I HIGHLY recommend it. As has been said, we cannot change the present by using the same way of thinking that got us here in the first place.
Great article, Isabelle--very interesting the interplay among Clarke, Rice, Bush. Also this morning read your excellent article on Star IQ re Clarke's chart. The astrological insights here encourage me that Clarke's charges do have "staying power" as one journalist put it. Pat, I think you are right about the Palme affair inquiry expanding. I tried to find out the birth info on Fitzgerald (?) I think that is his name--the Justice Dept prosecutor. From the dates of various news articles giving his age it looks like he was born in the last quarter of the year. One article said he did not like to chat and pass the time of day with reporters as some prosecutors do. Fitzgerald being an Irish name (a few stereotypes here) I figured that if he doesn't like chat, he can't be a Sag. Fitz is either a Scorpio or Capricorn--both signs that tend to finish what they start.
Ms. Rice will testify April 8th from 9:00 am. to 11:30 a.m. Just heard it on the radio.

Bush Aides Block Clinton's Papers From 9/11 Panel
WASHINGTON, April 1 — The commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks said on Thursday that it was pressing the White House to explain why the Bush administration had blocked thousands of pages of classified foreign policy and counterterrorism documents from former President Bill Clinton's White House files from being turned over to the panel's investigators.
The White House confirmed on Thursday that it had withheld a variety of classified documents from Mr. Clinton's files that had been gathered by the National Archives over the last two years in response to requests from the commission, which is investigating intelligence and law enforcement failures before the attacks.
Scott McClellan, the White House spokesman, said some Clinton administration documents had been withheld because they were "duplicative or unrelated," while others were withheld because they were "highly sensitive" and the information in them could be relayed to the commission in other ways. "We are providing the commission with access to all the information they need to do their job," Mr. McClellan said.
The commission and the White House were reacting to public complaints from former aides to Mr. Clinton, who said they had been surprised to learn in recent months that three-quarters of the nearly 11,000 pages of files the former president was ready to offer the commission had been withheld by the Bush administration. The former aides said the files contained highly classified documents about the Clinton administration's efforts against Al Qaeda.
The commission said it was awaiting a full answer from the White House on why any documents were withheld.

Barbara,
There seems to be quite a few Scorpios and Caps being very active these days. Interesting.
This is the place I go to when I feel overwhelmed and depressed at the state of the USA. I have my moments. You guys so give me "hope." I know the astro language, but don't have the talent to translate it very well. However, Sally, Nancy, Isabelle and all who post here are great!
With my own moon at 4 deg Aquarius, you can bet my antennae went up during Clarke's testimony. This full moon coming up will be some sort of turning point and into what I am not sure. The Aries Libra dynamic looks explosive to me. All I can hope for is that the GW Jupiter stuff will end up being on the overdoing end. The great benefic can overdo. So please let it so 'over do' that finally people will wake up.
This progressed USA sun into Pisces come November has me worried as well. There has been so much Neptune clouding and religious posturing. Hope lies in the period of rigidity, symbolized by fixed Aquarius, being replaced by the mutuality of Pisces. At least there is Tim Robbins' play, "Embedded" and John Kerry is a Mutable sign...perhaps these things are beginnings, but I don't know. We so need some balance and clarity right now. Has the pendulum started to swing in the opposite direction?
btw, thanks as well for all the wonderful links.
Jeanie,
I totally agree with you. This is Dick Cheney's show all the way. Let's see how his aspects overlay the others'.
Thank you Sally. I'm sure you hear this all the time and are tired of another what-this-website-brings-to-me post, but it's SO easy to get discouraged reading political websites. I find that I now have to swing back over here and get an astrological perspective, both from the authors and the posters. Thank you all. I went out and rented "Mutiny on the Bounty" last night and thought of you guys!
I wanted to comment on:

I am not saying that Rice and Bush have any sort of love affair whatsoever or even have thoughts or actions leading them in that direction, but a Venus/Mars opposition always adds some sexual fission to any encounter.

Okay, I'm not saying there's anything going on either, BUT remember when Bu$h pulled his little Thanksgiving stunt with the plastic turkey. Remember hearing that Bu$h and Condi slipped away from the White House in disguise wearing baseball hats and sunglasses? It tipped me off that there was obviously some sort of shared fantasy going on there. Anyone that's every flirted with a co-worker knows what I mean. It just seemed like it was just a leeeeetle bit over the top than was necessary (I mean, the secret service agents and the armored limo probably would have countered the Austin Powers disguises, you know?)
I'm not saying it's right, but if it ever DID come out that Condi and Dubya were having some sort of liason ~ his intolerant, fundamentalist, redneck base would drop him faster than a fat man's pants at a nudist colony!

Just posted this to keep people's hopes up at Smirking Chimp. Thought you guys might enjoy it as well.

The one theme you get over and over on blogs, (especially this one that has a mix of American & European posters) is:
"When is the American public going to wake up?!?"
I've been doing some thinking on that. That concept not of *individuals* becoming aware of the alarming abuse of government, but of throngs of people unplugging from the lies and getting involved.
I took my girlfriend out to eat last night at a 50's style hamburger joint. The walls were covered with laminated ads from the 50's and while we ate we talked about this subject. The ads themselves were the real thing, cut out of magazines and newspapers and saved, not modern day lampooning of 50's culture. It was like going back in a time machine.
The overwhelming theme I got from seeing all of these ads together was the concept of the American Dream. It was repeated over and over and over. It was very derogatory toward women (a Cornflakes ad had the message to housewives "be good in the morning and you'll be taken out at night ~ gawd DAMN!!!) and there were cars, sooo many pictures of cars, even one ad of gaspumps being backlit by a glowing sunrise, as if Jesus himself were blessing the petroleum company.
You know the typical 50's thing I'm talkin' about right?
Okay, so dig this ~ do you guys know who Bettie Page is? If you don't, do a Google search on Bettie Page (*WARNING* This MAY get you in trouble at work!)
Now think ~ why is Bettie Page still so popular? Because her image flies in the face of that imaginary world of the 50's. It shouldn't. We all know that the 50's Leave-it-to-Beaver, Ozzie and Harriet, American Dream perfect-house, perfect-job, perfect-wife is a joke BUT it is still the most accessible link (through the media) we have to the era of the 50's. When we see images that reveal that there was a LOT more sordid, squalid, negative things going on (I'm certainly not saying dear Bettie is any of that, but)we still find it shocking even though we KNOW it shouldn't be. Our minds have just been conditioned to accept this American Dream as being largely the way it was, because it is distorted so heavily through the media.
Back to today.
As the timeline stretches on it becomes increasingly evident where the facts are regarding September 11th. Most people, yes even stupid Americans, are capable of seeing that the "Conspiracy theories" have more weight behind them than the "Official White House Version" of events. Much to the aggravation of Chimpsters who have been collecting facts for three years, people still largely reject the truth.
And that's exactly what's going on.
People's brains are REJECTING reality. To accept the "conspiracies" means accepting right along with it some pretty hardcore truths about our elected officials. That's what is going on. It's not a joke. If people's perceptions of the decade of the 50's is still distorted so many years later (pretty much as an accident) it's no great stretch to realize that people have distorted views about 9-11 as a result of the INTENTIONAL distortion by the media and the rulers in the government.
But you already know all that.
What you should realize though, is that there is a saturation point for the human brain. Reality is creeping in exponentially at this point. Your average American will realize the plot of a TV show in 5 minutes because they've seen SOOO many TV shows in their lifetime. And the Bu$h/Rove cabal doesn't have any new tricks we haven't already seen at this point. People are waking up.
There will be a reckoning. Keep mocking authority. Keep questioning. Raise awareness. Be informed. Make the politicians uncomfortable. It's working. Bu$h, Cheney and the whole slimy bunch are smiling as the tide washes over them. Eventually they WILL be swept out to sea and sent to the bottom of the ocean with all the other shipwrecks.
The interactions between Clarke, Bush, Rice became clearly visible to me after reading this excellent article, Isabelle. Interesting to note that even Bush's mouthpieces do not measure up (in all their sordid excuses) to the strident, sure voice of Clarke. Now, if only "we the people" would fully wake. Perhaps those Bush-approval ratings would now be showing a paltry 10% approval rating.

Dommael, you are right, Betty Paige does fly in the face of the '50s myth--
plus (or maybe because) there is something "eternal female" about Betty Paige that transcends the '50s zeitgeist. For the present time there is another interesting Betty--the fictional Betty Bowers--"the best Christian in America". Check out >http://www.landoverbaptist.org
In my experience, Dommael, many people (including myself)largely reject reality. The inequities in this world require our participation. But, things are slowly shifting towards an Age of Aquarian brotherhood, brother's keeper consciousness, and for that I am grateful. I am especially grateful to have not-so-accidentally stumbled upon this website last month. I check in at least twice a day and feel at home in this company. In addition to all of you being passionate, insightful, sensitive, spiritually & socially conscious astrology aficionados, some of you are absolutely GREAT writers. You are one of them, as is Pat, as are the astrologers and many others (sorry if I've left anyone out; my time is limited right now).
Thank you!

First, the articles are fantastic thanks so much! I always felt some adoration of Rice to someone in that administration. They probably get high off their delusions. I find the delusional level diminishing with all this and still dream Rice pulls a Donna Hanover who also put Rude Rudy to public shame by performing in the "Vagina Monologes' right after she outted him for being a lying, cheating, bigotted callous creep. No coochie coos from her. Straightout whistle-blowing. A true hero.
Yes, the Bettie Page look is all over the rock and roll club scene in NYC. The young girls look conformist to me. It is clear that the Cabal has time warped themselves and stay stuck in the cold war mentality. Isn't it interesing that
they have become what they most hated/feared from the Communists in the 50's/60's? Karma has a way of sticking with the emotion of hate/fear and one becomes what they run from.
Don't be a hater!! No fear, no guilt, love yourselves.
You know I saw a newsblurb on CNN the other day......................subject, would Rice testify or not. ( before the decision ) It showed several older shots of her and Bush exiting from cars, planes, walking .................and there was one shot that was so reminiscent of that famous news shot of Clinton leaning out of the crowd to speak with Monica. ( her wearing that beret) ..the 2 of them having an aura of being alone, even tho there was a crowd of people there.......................
I found myself ruminating on how fun it would be if Bush & Rice did have a relationship! With that venus mars opposition, & her moon conjunct his sun, they're having a hard time resisting it! And he was protectively trying to keep her from having to testify under oath in public!
Dommael......there's a good source of true information about life in the 50's, .....................not all of us are "fuzzy minded"
Yes there was a lot of dysfunctional behavior swept under the rug, but it was balanced out by people who cared, a comfortable middle class, breathing room, lack of rush, more disposable income, appliances that worked, etc. An awful lot of babies were thrown out with the bath water in the 90's!
This neocon crowd & the media has also discounted our voices so we can't set the record straight with the younger ones ................. humanities way of recording history, for centuries!
I know whereof I speak, having been a 57 yr old Graphic Design student, at an Art College with 19-22 years olds! They weren't able to hear what I was saying! ( after 56 years of successful communication with people in all age groups!!!????) It was as if they had come from some other planet!
The Indigos ARE listening, speak to them! Guide them, give them knowledge!
Pat QOP
Wonderful article, Isabelle. I have to agree with Dommael in that denial is the only plausible explanation for such still-rampant and mind-boggling support for BushCo. After so many transgressions, even if they are reported in soundbites sandwiched between blaring ads, the theory of a thousand paper cuts is taking hold. I maintain that Howard Dean is to be thanked for delivering the first cut, and I hope with my whole self that the remnant that still support Bush will notice the desperation not only in Rice and the rest, but in their own creeping collective conscience, and will have the strength to admit that maybe they were wrong about Bush.
Posted on Salon:
Through People for the American Way, you can send a free fax to the FEC telling them not to prohibit "advocacy groups" from running ads criticizing candidates (i.e. Resident Bush) lest they influence the outcome of the election.
I mean. There's a reason Thomas Jefferson set about repealing the Sedition Act as soon as he got into office.

Planned Bush-Cheney Appearance Criticized
Fri Apr 2, 3:39 PM ET
By ERICA WERNER, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says it's baffling and embarrassing that President Bush (news - web sites) is appearing before the Sept. 11 commission with Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) at his side instead of by himself.
"I think it speaks to the lack of confidence that the administration has in the president going forth alone, period," Pelosi, D-Calif., said Friday. "It's embarrassing to the president of the United States that they won't let him go in without holding the hand of the vice president of the United States."
"I think it reinforces the idea that the president cannot go it alone," she said. "The president should stand tall, walk in the room himself and answer the questions."

Well that certainly sticks it in his face. Made me smile.
Hey Morgana! Do you happen to have Ralf Nader's birth data? I can't find it in my files.
Thanks Morgana! I must be spacing out this evening! I should have thought of that myself.
I want to see how he is feeling on election night. :-#
Some night time reading.

There have been a few specific instances of stepping near—perhaps even over—the line that divides error from irresponsibility. For example, the president claimed in October 2002 that Iraq had a “massive stockpile of biological weapons”. The CIA's director, George Tenet, has said he had no specific information on such stockpiles even at the time. In the state-of-the-union message in 2003 Mr Bush, citing British intelligence, claimed Iraq had tried to buy yellowcake uranium from Africa—a claim that had to be retracted. In March, Mr Cheney said there was no doubt that Saddam was trying to build a nuclear device. In fact, the intelligence services had expressed doubts.
But the most damning example comes from the budget process, and from lower levels of the administration. During the debate in Congress on a new Medicare prescription-drug bill, the cost of the programme proposed by the administration was put at $400 billion over ten years—even though analysts at the Department of Health and Social Security reckoned the real cost would be about $550 billion and, it is widely believed, had passed that estimate on to the White House and the Office of Management and Budget. But they did not pass it to Congress because, says a whistle-blower, the then Medicare administrator threatened to fire the chief analyst if he told legislators the higher estimate. There was legal justification for this, and the administrator denies making threats of dismissal. But the episode still looks disturbingly like a case of the administration manipulating federal accounting standards for political ends.

How Clarke 'Outsourced' Terror Intel
The former counterterrorism chief tapped a private researcher to develop intelligence on Al Qaeda. The disclosure sheds new light on White House frustrations with the FBI

Juan Cole: Why Clinton Did a Better Counter-Terrorism Job Than Bush
Juan Cole, on his blog (March 28, 2004):
The pundits and politicians who keep saying that Clinton's anti-terrorism policies and Bush's are the same are missing a key piece of the puzzle. The policy outline was the same, but the implementation was very different.
Hint: The key piece of evidence is the Millennium Plot. This was an al-Qaeda operation timed for late December 1999. Forestalling this plot was the biggest counter-terrorism success the US has ever had against al-Qaeda.
the plot involved several key elements:
*Los Angelese International Airport would be blown up.
*(Possibly: The Needle in Seattle would be blown up).
* The Radisson Hotel in Amman Jordan, a favorite of American and Israeli tourists, would be blown up. A lot of the tourism for the millennium was Christian evangelicals wanting to be in the holy land.
* Bombs would go off at Mt. Nebo, a tourist site in Jordan associated with Moses.
* The USS The Sullivans would be targeted by a dinghy bomb off Yemen.
The story of how the LAX bombing was stopped on December 14 has been told in an important series in the Seattle Times. Extra security measures were implemented by US customs agents, leading to the apprehension of an Algerian, Ahmed Ressam, with a trunk full of nitroglycerin, heading for LAX (he wanted to start his journey by ferry from Port Angeles, Washington).
Astrolabes view of the two Johns
http://www.alabe.com/democraticjohns.html
Now that John Kerry has locked up the Democratic nomination for President, attention has turned to whom Kerry might choose as a running mate. The list of possibilities reads like a political who's who and range from Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona to former First Lady Hillary Clinton. But, the most popular choice among Democrats seems to be Kerry's former primary rival John Edwards. On the surface, these two politicians couldn't be more different.
It's shocking that so many Americans still support the Bush admin in view of everything that is coming out, all their dirty deeds ( and I'm sure there are much more that won't see the light of day). What will it take to lift the blinders? It seems that the more they are exposed, the more people cling to them. Which has lead me to the conclusion that more than 40% of the US identifies and supports their style of government in it's true form. Irrespective of how the media has sexed up the Bush admin, we all have intuition, it's our one weapon the Goddess/God has given us to light up our path when we are in the mist of darkness and deception. If people Know and don't care, and still vote for these thugs, and still accuse people like Clarke of being traitors, what more can be done? The people of the US spoke by putting Bush into power, what will they vote for this time around?
Astrologically, Bush is a very lucky man, for all he has done prior and still to be president, it seems he always gets away without due punishment, without paying his debts. I think Saturn is to blame in his chart, debilitated in Cancer, in the 12th house, with his enemy the Sun. He is not working well in this role, remember Saturn is about restriction. He is being bombarded for his decisions, but if it was anyone else they would have been impeached and imprisoned. We will see which return is stronger during these elections, the Saturn or Jupiter.
"BUSH PULLS BACK THE CURTAIN ON WHO REALLY RUNS THE WHITE HOUSE" By Eleanor Clift
What Cheney and the tight circle around Bush are protecting is the myth they have created since 9/11 of a war president astride the world stage. Anybody who punctures that imagery is destroyed. Richard Clarke is only the latest in a series of insiders who have pulled back the curtain. At the center is an incurious president who is so inarticulate that he can’t be left on his own to make a sustained argument on behalf of his policies without falling back on rehearsed talking points and sound bites.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4653858/
Azara, remember, he was not elected at all. I'm pretty sure more States were involved in the vote manipulation than Florida. Even then, he still lost the popular vote. It was the electoral college that put him ever so slightly over the top. That didn't even happen until after the recount in Florida was stopped by imported "outraged Republicans" (otherwise affectionately know as brownshirts) and the not so Supreme Court. All this was supported by the now corporately owned media who covered and manipulated the news, creating propaganda that put Pravda to shame.
Some might call this a stealth fascist coup.
The American voter is now faced with the same Pravda style "news reporting and polling" and shiny new voting machines with HIGHLY questionable background and no paper trail.
All of this didn't just happen. It has been growing behind the closed doors and the ugly effects are now just being accepted by those who enjoyed the idea that they lived in a great democracy.

Former White House Aide to Take Post at NBC
Anna Perez, who recently directed communications at the National Security Council, will become chief communications executive for NBC, the network announced yesterday.
Ms. Perez will take up the post of executive vice president for communications, but her duties will expand when NBC becomes NBC-Universal after the expected completion of the network's merger with entertainment units of Vivendi Universal.
The deal is expected to be approved by June. Ms. Perez will start at NBC on May 1.
She left the White House in December, where her titles included counselor for communications to President's Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. Ms. Perez also worked in the White House for the first President Bush, as Barbara Bush's press secretary.
In the mid-1990's she was head of communications at the Creative Artists Agency in Hollywood, when it was led by Michael S. Ovitz and Ron Meyer. Mr. Meyer is now the head of Universal Studios, a job he is expected to retain after the NBC merger.
"I love the television business," Ms. Perez said. "I have no expertise in it so I will have a bit of learning curve. But I can't remember the last time I didn't have a learning curve when I took a new job.''

White House Spins The Boy Who Yawned
The White House, trying to get out in front of the Yawning Boy story, is now in charge of media access to the young man who was seen on David Letterman's show this week yawning his way through one of President Bush's less robust speeches.
Letterman's Worldwide Pants television production company has booked 13-year-old Tyler Crotty -- son of Orange County, Fla., chairman and major Bush fundraiser Richard Crotty -- as a guest on tonight's CBS late-night show.
"He's a young person who strongly supports the president and is excited about getting a chance to talk about it," White House assistant press secretary Reed Dickens told The TV Column yesterday.
Dickens has been named go-to guy for anyone wanting to interview Tyler, who gained national prominence when Letterman introduced a new segment on his show Monday called "George W. Bush Invigorates America's Youth."
What followed was a videotape of clips from a recent speech Bush gave at the Orange County Convention Center in which the then-12-year-old Tyler can be seen yawning uncontrollably, stretching, fidgeting and checking his watch while standing behind the president.

We are swimming in hype, spin, and downright lies. Somewhere in all of this is the end of the string that when pulled in just the right way may just expose something akin to treason.
Great commentary from all participants here on the list. We are truly bring so much awareness to people now, particularly those who think "All Americans Are Alike In Supporting Bush" which is so not true.
I just want to add a personal thought, I think the reason so many Americans right now have their heads in the sand regarding Bush or are refusing to consider the facts, that I believe they know in their hearts to be true, or are so into absolute denial, is, to quote one word of Roosevelts famous speech from his 1933 inaguration "FEAR". They are just so afraid that they need to latch onto a truth that makes them feel safe; i.e Bush will protect us, and they go on that basis.
I have seen this in many smart, compassionate, well meaning people.
Bush and company know this, and play on this fear.
So the more we can make our point, AND make people feel safe, the more they will listen to us.
Explaining and showing, as Clarke did, that Bush and company, only INCREASED our targetability in the real world, how he divereted the resources needed in the terrorist fight, etc. will make it easier for people to see the truth.
AND EVERYONE on this list is helping for that, which is a good thing we are doing right now, even if our beliefs don't coincide exactly with each other.
How sad and boring it would be if they did!!
__Nader to Meet with Kerry in Solidarity against Bush
MSNBC: "Ralph Nader said Sunday he will meet with John Kerry next month to discuss the effort to defeat Bush in the November election. While stressing that he is still a competitor in the race, the independent presidential hopeful said he views his candidacy as a 'second front against Bush, however small.' Following a speech on the environment at Georgia State University, Nader stepped up his attacks on Bush, describing the Republican incumbent as a giant corporation residing in the White House camouflaging as a human being.'" Rumor has it that Nader may propose a strategy in hotly contested states where the vote may be close to direct his supporters to vote for Kerry.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4620252/
Astrologers, any comments on whether this is likely to happen, and on what is really up with Nader?
shylurker,
I don't know what role Graham will have after the next election, but I can say his aspects show him to be very very happy.

Class warfare
March 31, 2004
To the editor:
When Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan recently suggested cutting Social Security benefits to decrease the federal budget deficit, he was really trying to steal the savings of millions of workers to pay for tax cuts for the super rich.
Republicans claim that Social Security is facing an impending crisis. In reality, Social Security taxes were raised 2 percent in 1983 to create a surplus to pay for the baby boomers' retirement. As a result, Social Security will be able to meet all its obligations through at least 2042. In 2000, Al Gore suggested creating a "lockbox" to protect this surplus.
Instead, George Bush used Enron-like accounting to assure us that we could have massive tax cuts for the wealthy, protect the Social Security surplus, create jobs and not create a deficit. Those projections were all completely wrong.
Bush turned record surpluses into a $521 billion annual deficit, spent the Social Security surplus, and lost 2.3 million jobs. Bush's tax cuts are causing 35 percent of the deficit, while the Social Security trust fund is lowering the deficit, yet Greenspan wants to make the tax cuts permanent and raise the retirement age to pay for it.
Two-thirds of people pay more in Social Security taxes than income taxes, and because Social Security taxes are paid on all income up to $87,500, they are a major hardship on low wage workers but insignificant for people with very high incomes. By 2010, 52 percent of the Bush tax cuts will go to people making over $337,000 a year. The rest of us will spend our income tax cut on increased state and local taxes, decreased services or to pay the Alternative Minimum Tax.
The huge debt will cost $3.4 trillion in interest over the next 10 years, lead to higher interest rates, a lower standard of living for our children, and make it impossible to fix our crumbling schools or provide health insurance to 43 million uninsured Americans.
The Bush administration's fiscal policy is totally irresponsible. We need to repeal the Bush tax cuts, balance the budget, and protect Social Security.

Powell not sure Iraq trailers were labs
April 3, 2004 | WASHINGTON (AP) -- Secretary of State Colin Powell conceded Friday evidence he presented to the United Nations that two trailers in Iraq were used for weapons of mass destruction may have been wrong.
In an airborne news conference on the way home from NATO talks in Brussels, Belgium, Powell said he had been given solid information about the trailers that he told the Security Council in February 2003 were designed for making biological weapons.
But now, Powell said, "it appears not to be the case that it was that solid."
He said he hoped the intelligence commission appointed by President Bush to investigate prewar intelligence on Iraq "will look into these matters to see whether or not the intelligence agency had a basis for the confidence that they placed in the intelligence at that time."
Powell's dramatic case to the Security Council that Iraq had secret arsenals of weapons of mass destruction failed to persuade the council to directly back the U.S.-led war that deposed the Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. But it helped mobilize sentiment among the American people for going to war.
As it turned out, U.N. inspectors were unable to uncover the weapons, but administration officials have insisted they still might be uncovered.
David Kay, who led the hunt for the weapons, showed off a pair of trailers for news cameras last summer and argued that the two metal flatbeds were designed for making biological weapons.
But faced with mounting challenges to that theory, Kay conceded in October he could have been wrong. He said he did not know whether Iraq ever had a mobile weapons program.
Powell told reporters that as he worked on the Bush administration's case against Iraq U.S. intelligence "indicated to me" that the intelligence was solid.
"I'm not the intelligence community, but I probed and I made sure, as I said in my presentation, these are multi-sourced" allegations, Powell said.
The trailers were the most dramatic claims, "and I made sure that it was multi-sourced," he said.
"Now, if the sources fell apart we need to find out how we've gotten ourselves in that position," he said.
"I have discussions with the CIA about it," Powell said, without providing further details.
The trailers were the only discovery the administration had cited as evidence of an illicit Iraqi weapons program.
In six months of searches, no biological, chemical or nuclear weapons were found to bolster the administration's central case for going to war: to disarm Saddam of suspected weapons of mass destruction.
Federal Court 4/2 ruled Cheney must turn over Energy Task Force papers. Judicial Watch website. In the meantime Supreme Court hears Cheney case this month with a ruling by summer. Sally, Morgana, Nancy, would any of you look at Supreme Court vs. Cheney chart for possible outcomes. I have always felt there were secrets within these documents that would shed light on 9/11, Afganistan, and Iraq War if in fact the Bush Administration was planning for an invasion of Iraq in 2001 as Paul O'Niel claims. Thanks.
Beverly, looking at the Cheney/Supreme Court charts wouldn't give too much information nor accurate information. 1st of all it's actually Ted Olson who will argue the case and the second thing is I can already tell you there is a good relationship between Cheney and the Supreme Court without looking because they handed him the Presidency, whoops Vice-President Presidency. We need to look at the day the case will be argued against the VP and the Inaugural chart.
I'm pretty sure Cheney promised his oil friends (or oily friends, as that might fit better) during these meetings that the oil fields in Iraq (and elsewhere?) would soon be opening up eg. we'd be taking over there country. THAT'S why he's fighting tooth-and-nail to prevent these documents from seeing the light of day.
OMG Nancy, what a cover!! Wow!! Thanks for sharing. Made my day.
Cheney's case to be heard on 4/27/04. Here's the link: http://supreme.lp.findlaw.com/supreme_court/docket/2003/april.html
Just heard one of the Sierra Club lawyers talking about it today and there's a lot at stake. Apparently the President is protected by Article 2 of the Constitution from disclosing information from Committees that advise him. However, if I understand correctly, an act (FACA) was passed that exempted him from this protection if any of the committee members were NOT federal employees. The President claims that all committee members of the Energy Task Force WERE fed employees but the argument is that if there is consistent participation by non-fed employees, they can be considered committee members. One of the worries is that the Supremes might strike down this act. But, apparently, the main argument for this particular case is that the Bush administration attorneys would not even participate in the Discovery procedure that the previous lower level Federal Court ruled should take place two separate times. Anyway, hope Cheney and Bush lose this one and the people win it.
Thanks!

Cheney is running a shadow government, claims Watergate aide
G Gordon Liddy, the former FBI agent who masterminded the Watergate burglary on behalf of Richard Nixon, once said that he would like to kill John Dean by shoving a pencil through his neck.
This week, as the cerebral Mr Dean publishes Worse than Watergate: the Secret Presidency of George W. Bush, the sentiment is likely to be shared by many in Mr Bush's White House.
Thirty-one years ago Mr Dean - Nixon's legal counsel - began co-operating with prosecutors into the Watergate burglary, revealing the inner workings of the most secretive and manipulative administration in American history.
Now, in the latest political blockbuster, Mr Dean "testifies" against President Bush and Vice-President Richard Cheney, accusing them of trumping his former boss when it comes to political sharp practice.
He accuses them of wilfully misleading Congress over the nature of the threat posed by Saddam Hussein before the war in Iraq, and of "stonewalling" over inquiries into the events of September 11.
Much of the blame for the White House style, he suggests, lies with Mr Cheney, who is "by nature a secretive man" who "wants to turn the clock back to pre-Watergate styles of Imperial Presidency".
Mr Dean also claims that the administration's aggressive approach to rebels and mavericks follows a Nixonian pattern, while being even more ruthless. He cites the "outing" of Valerie Plame, a CIA officer whose husband, Joe Wilson, rejected administration claims that Saddam had attempted to buy uranium from Niger.
"When it comes to dealing with dissenters and those willing to speak the truth," said Mr Dean, "this administration is putting Nixon to shame."

Russia warns Nato of new arms race
IF LAST week’s ceremony in Washington to welcome seven new members to Nato had been a marriage service there would have been a loud objection from the back of the church.
In no uncertain terms Russia has made plain its view that the new partners should "not lawfully be joined together", and last week defence minister Sergei Ivanov even warned that he might order a build-up of the country’s nuclear defences.
Moscow’s icy blast came as "instruments of accession" to Nato were signed by the prime ministers of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia in Washington.
It is Nato’s biggest enlargement ever. But the alliance is in no mood to compromise. Hardly was the ink dry on the accession documents than it dispatched four F-16 fighters to Lithuania to provide air policing over the three Baltic states, which have been without any warplanes since they broke from the Soviet Union in 1991.
The deployments added to Russia’s growing sense of unease about the eastward expansion of its former Cold War enemy.
While President Vladimir Putin has appeared relaxed, the most strident note has been struck by the lower house of the Duma, which passed a resolution calling for Russia to reconsider its defence strategy if Nato continued to ignore Moscow’s interests.
"Common responses to modern global challenges don’t require a build-up of weapons on the territories of Russia’s neighbours," said the resolution, which was passed by 305 to 41 votes, declared.

"THE RISE OF THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY"

This site is about how a small group of Republican strategists targeted a religious constituency to expand the base of their party, and how a small group of religious extremists targeted the Republican Party to bring the United States government under religious control.

Jo:
You seem to be the most knowledgeabl in Numerology
Any thoughts on today's date - 4/4/04?
Corleonis,
I've been out of pocket for a few days... how did you know I just got back? I don't think I am the most knowledgable about numerology... but my personal numbers are 4s and 8s... today is actually 4+4+200+4 which equals a 14! Which is a number Sally has been tracking... I believe when we have found 14 in combination with degree points of planets there has been some signifigance as you will recall in several of the past threads... I will add that last thread I posted Sabian Symbol for 4-8-2004 which is date Condi Rice testifies... Tarot Trump is XVIII for that day, "The Moon" ruled surprising by Pisces, not by Cancer. Pisces is the naturally intuitive sign. Upright the Moon card represents dishonesty from within oneself or from others. The Seeker may be victimized by someone's pulling the wool over her eyes, may be lying to herself, or may be behaving deceitfully in general. Reversed, the dishonesty ends. The number one of conscious mental power combines with the understanding and control of our subconscious programming and power, the number eight forming XVIII. There's much more to be interpreted from this trump, but I pulled that out for now.
-------------
Just finished reading this thread and all of you have been posting some wonderful articles and comments...
Namaste
Jo, glad to see you back. You were missed.
Thank you, Jo. I did not know you were gone.
I haven't been quite myself this last week, thanks
to Big Daddy Saturn: it effects my 3rd & 9th Houses and neither my limbs, nor my mind have been
very swift this past days.
The horrific and bloody events of recent days have
hit me pretty hard and today was in particular very sad. Violence seems to be escalating in
Iraq and my heart bleeds for those people who have
suffered so much in the last 35 years. I don't
even dare go to read "Riverbend" or "Salam Pax",
whom I enjoy so much. I am afraid of what I'll
find.......And that's not to mention our troops
over there, in harm's way for no good reason what=
soever. And I grieve for their families over here
who must jump every time the doorbell rings......
I could go on and on, but I'll stop now and see
later what I can do to help mentally...........
Thank God(dess) I have the baby here with me to
remind me to stay strong and fight for her, her
sister and all the children of this world.........
Thank you for the assessment of the Numerology.
Yes, I remember the number 14 that was mentioned
lately. That does fit: TEMPERANCE:-but nobody is
exercising it, on the contrary, they're going the
opposite way.
You are also right about Rice's day of testimony:
XVII or the MOON=LIES. When it comes up first in
a reading, I always refuse to do the reading be=
cause the cards will not be truthful.
But still, the date is:4/4/04, either 12 or 4.
Therefore: IV the EMPEROR or XII the HANGMAN.
In my readings, the Emperor is always the husband
or the father. The Hangman is a baby or a Pisces.
In this case, the Emperor could be Saturn and the
Hangman could be Cheney (a Pisces).
You probably won't agree, but what the heck? It
was fun speculating.
I am so glad we are all here for each other, no
matter how "out-there" I get, eh?
Love, Joy and Peace
(Found a plaque that says that the other day and
bought it to hang on my door).
Could it also be the psychic and acceptance? The Moon can be either the psychic and it can be deceit. The hanged man is to my rememberence acceptance.
Corleonis,
Decades ago when I first discovered Tarot cards, the individual reading for me explained he used them (cards) to 'trigger' the psyche... they're a tool, a matter of interpretation to the person using them... as far as I'm concerned numerology, tarot, astrology, etc., are all "TOOLS", to open the psyche which opens to the collective --- we can all bring our "pieces" and draw from that... I was reading with my grandson this past weekend, (his birthday) and he insisted on reading the preface to the book (a "sensitive" intellectual he is!) and the young author was attempting to explain the term "truth" to her younger readers... she said "think of truth as a crystal that is shattered, and we each pick up a piece, so we never have it all, but together we can begin to understand it... beautiful, huh! Too bad Dubya doesn't read, isn't it...
Anyway Corleonis, I do agree with your interpretation... and Pat as usual has added the extra bit that brings it all together...
Namaste
Girls:
Once again you 'warm the cockles of my heart' and
brighten my day.........You have yet to make fun
of me, it is so unusual, because I either have had
people believe in what I say either too blindly
or ridicule me. Neither is good.....
Well, any way, I was given a pack of cards (Waite)
by my Astrology teacher one day. I had never seen
a pack before and barely knew what they were. She
read for me (only the Major Arcana). When I asked
her to teach me, she told me the Tarot could not
be taught: "one has to learn for oneself what the
cards specifically say to one" (she was English).
That's why when I tell people what a certain card
means to me, like tha Hangman being a baby, they
look at me like I'm from outer space.
And yet, they are never wrong, especially if I
read for a stranger....
Love, Joy and Peace!
I hear that Corleonis. You say it so well.
Your article is on target after as I'd just read about the unusual relationship between Bush and Rice described in a New York Times article (which was taken off briefly after it appeared on the web this morning - I happened to save it, so I am quoting the relevant passages here. Interestingly, the new version, http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/05/politics/05LETT.html, concerns Bush's women in general, and doesn't have as much on the personal Bush-Rice relationship.)
"Ms. Rice will offer viewers of the hearings their closest look at the mindset of the president, who will testify to the commission in private with Mr. Cheney. In effect, Ms. Rice's views are the president's views, because the two have a closer relationship than almost any other president and his national security adviser.
Ms. Rice, who spends most weekends with the president and first lady at Camp David, as well as long periods of time at the Bush ranch in Texas, first got to know then-Governor Bush as his foreign policy tutor during the 2000 campaign. In contrast to her public demeanor of the past week, Ms. Rice is irreverent in private, and Mr. Bush warmed to her as a woman who could explain the world to him in cogent bites.
Since then, Ms. Rice has said that the president's views - what she calls his idealism - have heavily influenced her academic realism, and that he influences her as much as she influences him. Either way, Ms. Rice and Mr. Bush were in lockstep on the war to drive Saddam Hussein from Iraq.
Ms. Rice's critics say she has spent so much time being the president's friend and adviser that she lost sight of a critical element of her job: to manage the administration's foreign policy. Commission members are certain to question her about her management style, and how attentive she really was to Mr. Clarke's pre-9/11 warnings about the possibility of a catastrophic terrorist attack."
What do you guys make of condi, being the political creature that she seems to be, stating that her dream job would be commissioner of the national football league?
Seems to me rather strange unless money and politics were more intertwined with football than most people imagine. But then football never interested me - I keep getting visions of roman gladiators in the colluseum.
I meant the main news media here in US are acting under censorship, not the alternate press, which is doing a great job in reporting the truth.
I agree with you .
