MISTER ROBERTS
In keeping with my nautical theme from Mutiny on the Bounty and “Mister Christian,” I figure we have a “Mr. Roberts” here in Richard Clarke. Both Doug Roberts and Fletcher Christian dared to stand against their Captain. Both of those Captain’s were petty, selfish, self-centered and borderline insane, and both Captains were getting away with it and being elevated in spite of their obvious limitations to leadership. If you’ve never seen the movie “Mr. Roberts,” I would suggest renting it, with Henry Fonda as Doug Roberts and then think of Richard Clarke. Over the coming days astrologers and political pundits alike will be falling all over themselves to analyze and predict the impact of Richard Clarke’s book on this White House. We will analyze Natal, Progressions, Fixed Stars, Black Holes, Solar Returns, etc. This is a boon for astrologers. The connections to the US Chart, the Inauguration Chart, the Election Chart, Bush chart, oh my gosh what a wonderful mine field for astrologers. We will be having a hay day. Not necessary to dig too far for articles and comments, the connections are staring at us. Pundits will analyze, from partisan politics, his purpose, his truth, his personality, his quarks, his life-style, his attitudes. Did he mean what he said? Was he ‘grandstanding’ in his apology to the families? Is he just trying to sell his book? (Well duh, that’s why people write books,) Is he lying, is he bitter, is he trying to get even? There continues to be a feeding frenzy on the bones of Mr. Clarke. But our present day Mr. Roberts has already thrown the Captain’s plant overboard and it’s now swimming in the sea with its leaves going this way and that. The Democrats will be wondering if he's from heaven and the Republicans will wonder if he's from hell. Richard Clarke (born 10.30.1950 at 5:45pm, in Cambridge, MA.) when I looked at his chart for the next year I wondered if the WH knew how to spell “holy s…” It’s easy to see how this man rose from obscurity to 15, 20 or 45 minutes of fame. Uranus went over a conjunction to his Jupiter at 27 degrees Aquarius in the 10th House, when he first gave his book to the White House for a vetting process. He said they took out some “good stuff” but it would seem that they didn’t take out enough. Uranus Conjunct Jupiter by transit or progression is a one time, big time good luck aspect. Mr. Clarke’s Moon is at 2 degrees Cancer in a trine to a 3-degree Scorpio Venus, and this is the best part, Progressed Jupiter at 3 degrees Pisces has formed a grand protecting trine to his Cancer and Venus, with transiting Uranus setting all that off back and forth, back and forth right on up to December of 2005. Transiting Uranus will then keep forming that trine to first his Mercury, then his Sun, then his Uranus, in two years Jupiter will Conjunct his Moon, we should all be so lucky as Mr. Clarke over the next two or three years. Mr. Clark’s Moon Conjuncts the US Venus, his Venus trines the US Venus, his Mercury and Sun trine the US Jupiter, his Jupiter conjuncts the US Moon the connections simply go on and on, it's amazing. Richard Clarke was absolutely sincere when he apologized to the families of 9/11. He truly loves this country and would do anything to protect the people of the United States. He’s not faking it and he has never taken his loyalty to the country for granted. He loves the United States of America and her people. His Natal Saturn at 28 Virgo conjuncts his Natal South Node at 27 Virgo, squaring a 25 degree Sagittarius Mars, with the nodal aspect he feels he has a destiny to fulfill and would be obsessed to fulfill that destiny. Because his Saturn is on the South Node there is a Karmic fulfillment for which he feels a responsibility. Again, he feels a commitment of loyalty to the United States with that Saturn and the nodes in aspect to the US Pluto. His soul or spirit chart shows he came back to earth to do that exact thing. The square from Saturn to Mars, and Saturn in a trine to the US Pluto shows a person that is hard driven (not someone you would want to work for, that's for sure) doesn't suffer fools lightly, has an over zealous concept of what's right and doesn't blame others for his mistakes. The gods have a sense of humor when picking their messengers. Mr. Clarke has another duty beside the US and that duty is to George W. Bush and to let him know he has gone too far and misused the power of the Presidency. His actions could be forcing GWB into a healing of the wounds this administration opened in the US and the rest of the world. Bush himself kept saying over and over that he was a "uniter not a divider." Now he will have to put his money where his mouth is or he doesn't get to continue. Clarke rang his bell. I am trying to say this with as much drama as possible because the importance of it cannot be underestimated, Richard Clarke’s Chiron is in an applying Conjunction to GWB’s South Node, and Pluto has set off that 19/20 degree Sagittarius, Pluto is right now kissing up to GWB’s South Node, Clarke’s Chiron, and the duel Black Holes of Inanna (17/18 Sag) and Ereshkigal (18/19 Sag.) The importance of Pluto conjoining these sisters, Inanna and Ereshkigal, “could impel a massive healing of the right brain function, and a return to the consciousness of the circle as opposed to linear predominance” (The Black Hole Book by Alex Miller-Mignone) What would the hard driving, obsessive, a man’s man, Richard Clarke have to do with this? He has split open the dialogue of “what are we doing in this country.” Richard Clarke himself has several planets on Black Holes, (there is his assured fame or infamy.) We don’t all hear it yet, and George Bush and Richard Clarke sure don’t know it yet, but Mr. Clarke is singing “We are Fam i ly,” and one of our family members is sick and projecting it out onto the world. With Clarke’s Chiron, Bush’s South Node opposing his Uranus, the Inaugural Moon and transiting Pluto setting it off, and I should mention that Clarke’s progressed Moon is at 19 degrees Gemini; we are about to have an epiphany. No wonder the White House has been on every possible talk venue. No wonder the mainstream media has their shorts in a bunch this last week. The collective heads of Ereshkigal (the underworld) have just received a sub-conscious message of catastrophe heading their way. They didn’t react this forcefully or rapidly on the day of 9/11. (Remember we act consciously on our sub-conscious and it’s the sub-conscious of the White House responding) It’s been said that Richard Clarke will bring down someone with his revelations. Already on the web people are wondering if it will be Dr. Rice, the neo-cons, Powell, Cheney, no this arrow has been aimed directly at the heart of this administration and the arrow didn’t miss its mark. There is more coming that will just underscore all that Richard Clarke has said and will say in the future. When he testified, Mercury, the messenger, was in a trine to a stationary retrograde Pluto, his words will not be forgotten. It doesn’t matter what the polls say, the pundits say, the Commission says, the White House, the Congress, his words will not go away. Dr. Rice and perhaps Bush and Cheney will be testifying on a Mercury Retrograde, not a positive sign for them, Pluto is already retrograde as is Jupiter. Uranus isn’t, it just keeps moving along in a trine to all Mr. Clarke’s Cancer and Scorpio planets. Saturn in Cancer will be kind to him; it simply strengthens the transiting Grand Trine. The eclipse on April 19th has Mars at 18 Gemini close to a Conjunction to Mr. Bush’s Uranus, he isn’t going to be happy with what he is seeing, feeling and what other people are doing. In 1957 a Dick Clark wound up a generation with the American Bandstand and now another Richard Clarke is one of the artists bringing the music back to Americans. There’s tons more but I think Isabelle is going to do some synestry between Clarke and Rice and Bush, I am sure Nancy and Morgana will have something terrific. There is so much, just so much and it’s all rich. You can all look forward to some great articles. Do not look for everything to suddenly be perfect and the way we think we want things to happen, because there is still much to be done with this country, still much to experience and much to be learned but Richard Clarke has unwittingly been our messenger that authenticity and victory is assured. PS I cannot resist and then I will leave this alone, Richard Clarke's Jupiter is at 27'40" Aquarius, and yes it does conjunct the US Moon and our progressed Mercury but it also sits atop black hole Hecate. Hecate represents the Triple Goddess. Hecate is a member of DS 28, the largest Deep Space Shield which we don't know a lot about. Again quoted from Alex Miller-Mignone's Book.

If it all works out, he will have saved this country from fascism. Wonderful, wonderful article. I feel like dragging out my old bellbottoms (don't worry, no way could I fit in them now), my ankle bells, Grateful Dead headscarf--and dancing the afternoon away. Sally, you are wondrous! I know you have been working furiously since you got dob info... bless you ten-fold! I do not expect anything immediately but I am truly gratified to know that my gut instincts were right that Clarke is a really good man... I will re-read your words but wanted to thank you. Clarke breaking his silence appears to be welcome news indeed for us all. Not sure what you mean by Clarke's duty to GW (chiron/south node)- is it that Clarke has the ability to save GW from himself? Posted by: Jeanie on March 31, 2004 11:41 PMNo Jeanie, to save the rest of the world from GWB. George can himself be saved in the process, but as I said Clarke is absolutely one of the messengers from the Gods (poetically) that this crap has to stop. There will be others beside Clarke and Clarke has some additional information that he will release when and if that need arises. Posted by: Sally on March 31, 2004 11:48 PMI am speechless. I've been holding my breath to see Clarke's birth data. Interestingly, I emailed the woman who got RAC's birth time, and asked her if there wasn't info on Condoleezza's time of birth and what an interesting comparison their charts would be. She answered that 'unfortunately there wasn't any info on time of birth of CR', but wasn't she a 'good Scorpio.' I found that odd, and emailed back that I didn't find that I found CR a 'good Scorpio' - or anything else particularly 'good' either.' I guess I don't understand that birth time data can be unknown in modern times. I mean, what? is she some sort of Damian(e)??? Clarke's time of birth was not known either, but was recoverable (within a few days), so why not CR's??????? I know she was born in Alabama, but they're not THAT backward. Come on, she's younger than Clarke and ME for GS!. Why doesn't anyone have her time of birth. This is reallly important, and will make a tremendous difference in comparing charts. I checked out Chris Matthews tonight, and was surprised at his respect - deference- to Clarke. He'll fang him tomorrow, no doubt - but it was interesting to watch this interchange. Clarke is telling the truth. I think everyone who hears and sees him knows this. I believe he will prevail - but I hope he is early enough to make a difference. My point about Condoleezza Rice is that they're both Scorpios - I'd just like to see which Master they're individually serving. see, I said I'd apologize, but too many others agree that YOU are wonderfully, incredibly gifted:) We love ya. For astronauts it's almost like an LSD experience. Request for More Terrorism Investigators Is Denied Posted by: Pat on April 1, 2004 02:22 PMFrom Salon - subscription Washington Animal House Within hours of former counterterrorism chief Richard A. Clarke's testimony before the 9/11 commission, where he discussed how resources spent on the Iraq war undermined the war on terrorism, President Bush acknowledged that his rationale for the war -- Saddam Hussein's presumed possession of weapons of mass destruction -- remained absent. Bush's admission took the form of a comic monologue before about 1,000 black-tied members of the Radio and TV Correspondents Association gathered for its annual dinner. The lights dimmed and Bush presented a slide show of photographs of himself peering out of windows and looking under furniture in the Oval Office. "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere ... nope, no weapons over there ... maybe under here?"
Through its laughter the press corps didn't seem to grasp that the joke was on them. The problem is not that Bush's jest was inappropriate and tasteless -- the widow of David Bloom, the NBC reporter who died in Iraq, had tearfully preceded Bush on the platform. It is not that much of the media, including elements of the quality press, had been complicit in the carefully choreographed disinformation campaign in the rush to war stage-managed by Ahmad Chalabi and the Bush administration. Rather, it is that the press is accepting of Bush's radical undermining of the long-established arrangements of Washington, including the demotion of the press's own role, by breaking the off-the-record rule in order to have a weapon to use against Clarke. The new rules of the game are that there are no rules of the game. In the preface of his book, "Against All Enemies," Clarke wrote that he expected an assault on his reputation from the "Bush White House leadership," who were "adept at revenge." Clarke had observed the politics of intimidation become standard operating procedure. Former ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, who, at the administration's behest, looked into the claim that Saddam was seeking uranium in Niger and concluded it was bogus, was subjected to a sustained attack that included outing the identity of his wife, a covert CIA operative, a federal felony now under investigation by a special prosecutor. Former Secretary of the Treasury Paul O'Neill had revealed that an invasion of Iraq was being pushed from the earliest days of the administration, and instantly he became the target for personal vituperation. Richard S. Foster, the chief actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, was threatened that if he told the Congress the actual cost of Bush's Medicare bill while it was being considered he would be fired. So Clarke knew the new rules. Throughout the long day that ended with the president's WMD joke, the White House directed strikes on Clarke's integrity. It declassified an off-the-record background briefing Clarke gave in 2002, when he had been ordered to put a "positive spin," as he put it, on Bush's pre-9/11 terrorism record in response to a critical report in Time magazine. The White House press secretary read portions of the briefing aloud and out of context. National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, whose neglect of terrorism was among Clarke's revelations, summoned reporters to her office to point to the background briefing and call his story "scurrilous." While she was putting a stiletto into Clarke, the background briefing paper was shuffled by her press office to Fox News to broadcast as Clarke was testifying. Republican members of the 9/11 commission waved the paper at him, and much time was consumed by his explanation of how as a staffer he was acting properly, like a lawyer representing a client, and why his briefing was not at odds with his information now. This selective declassification shattered the implicit agreement that permits officials to interpret to journalists with some candor. Clarke's scourging was a signal to professionals in government of what will happen if they ever in the future contradict the Bush line. Those who dare are treated as enemies of the state, as Clarke predicted he would be. Clarke's account of the failures of policymaking reflects his sense of duty. The breakdown in the credibility of Bush's presidency time and again has been defended by smear campaigns. But the press has reacted as though this event does not involve its status and craft. Not one news organization considered trying to uphold the old rule by threatening to reveal Bush administration officials who gave background briefings unless the White House repudiated its act against the accepted convention that makes informed journalism possible. The Clarke episode is symptomatic of a systematic abuse of power. Reality is raw and dangerous -- better to laugh along. Sally, you are rockin' and rollin' as usual. Thanks~! ~D Posted by: Dommael on April 1, 2004 07:10 PMTo anyone who is interested in inside perspective on Pentagon, Neo-conservatives look at former Pentagon Staffer Karen Kwiatkowski's interviews, I was having a tattoo worked on last night and got into a conversation with some folks who normally don't pay much attention to politics. Being a member of Smirking Chimp (I consider you guys a private conversation if you know what I mean) I was able to keep the flow of conversation moving as well as horrify everyone with updates on the state of our government. It's always interesting to gauge how informed non-political junkies are. You can sometimes get an idea of how the spin cycle is washing. Here are the results of my undercover field research: 1.) The owner of the tattoo shop knew Bu$h's grandfather was a Nazi war profiteer. She noted that he was involved with importing methadone (?) I'd never heard that. So as evident as Bu$h's ties to fascism are now, the longstanding links are also floating around on the surface of the American psyche. 2.) A young girl of about 18 getting two doves with cherries in their mouths on her back suggested that political office should be mandatory like jury duty (to get rid of career politicians.) She was probably the least informed of all of us on the political scene. So, that shows that while the youth vote feel like politicians don't represent them (as always) they are open to the idea that the government and citizenry have responsibilities to each other. I took this as a positive sign. 3.) A mother in about her mid 40s was getting a tattoo of Winnie the Pooh smoking a bong covered up with an Egyptian Scarab (rock ON!!!) She brought up the gay marriage thing. Again, these are NOT political junkies folks - these are about the furthest you can get from being one. She thought it was VERY hypocritical for Bu$h and the republicans to do that since so many of them have a history of divorce and extra-marital affairs. So I would take that to mean that the cheap gay marriage wedge issue is saturating the consciousness of the population as exactly that. The girl with the doves also suggested that Republicans are lacking certain anatomical parts which motivates them to investigate everyone else's bedroom activities. 4.) Another tattoo artist suggested that Osama Bin Laden has already been caught and will be produced before the election to influence the public. EVERYONE confirmed that Saddam Hussein was exactly that same scenario. Every time Bu$h's popularity goes down, some big media event happens. It's obvious to the whole population. Bu$h and Rove are not fooling anyone at ALL. 5.) Everyone agreed that the best course of action would probably be for the country at large to make a non-violent stand together. I would call this the I-am-Spartacus method. It was suggested that people stop paying their income tax in protest. Not a bad idea I think. Cut the purse strings and force Washington D.C. to deal with real people. More food for thought. ~D Beverly, Dommael, your post is heartening! In my heart I know that the majority of the people can see right thru Dubya... that's why the polls don't really bother me, esp. when the questions asked already have a bias... one today on CNN... "Does the recent violence in Iraq indicate that rebuilding is not possible?" I had to call 'em on that one! Again, your post rocks! Posted by: Jo on April 1, 2004 07:47 PMOh my gawd! That link to notes left at Starbucks is hysterical! Seems to me the most likely explanation is that it was leaked by someone on the inside. Or perhaps it is plausible that it was "accidentally" left behind, "accidentally" found by a Starbucks employee and oh-mah-gawd how "conveniently" forwarded to the Center for American Progress. Yeah, right. Gotta remember that the majority of the people INSIDE the beltway that aren't happy with the Bu$h cabal are, yep, beurocratic paper-pushers. They aren't going to openly rebel. They are going to lose files, leak files, hold stuff up and push stuff forward. If the beurocracy turns on Bu$h, nothing in the world will save him! Posted by: Dommael on April 1, 2004 08:08 PM

Rice will testify under oath for about 2 1/2 hours, with much of the questioning expected to focus on what outgoing Clinton officials told her about the al-Qaida threat and her response afterward. Besides, I think it's a metaphor for what we Wiccans/Pagans/Astrologers are doing to aid this country. And you guys might enjoy dissecting the symbolism. Dreams are always fun to hear. I was riding in the Dodge Caravan my parents used to own. My tattoo artist was driving and I was in the passenger seat. We were driving into this little town in the middle of the night, it was dark and deserted with just a few orange streetlights for illumination. We were parked with the engine running at an intersection with a big, white, two story+ house, a gas station and a bunch of power lines running overhead. This guy dressed in overalls or denim jeans and a baseball hat walked by the car toward the gas station. He was just staring straight ahead and shuffling like a zombie. We both knew that weird things had been happening in the town. Suddenly, a helicopter came out of the sky and crashed between the house and the power lines. I was in stark raving terror because I was sure the blades would tear the power lines apart and the situation would turn deadly and we'd have to stay in the car. But, the helicopter managed to crash without too much damage and the power lines stayed intact and the passengers got out. We all went inside the house and found out that very weird things had been happening in the town for a while. My cat was there in the house hiding under the furniture. The owner of the house/passengers in the helicopter said they were going to perform an exorcism-type thing like out of Poltergeist and I should contribute to it. So the place clears out except for me and four other people. I'm the fifth link like five points on a star. I apparently represent the grounding earth element. All of the Tarot work I do gives my mind enough strength to withstand the huge forces at play in what we're about to do. I'm confident I can handle what's coming. It's scary and unknown but I've got enough experience and with the other four I know I can handle myself and support the rest. You know how when you do a ritual you are creating an in-between space? Inside the circle (or sphere) is a middle zone between the reality we normally inhabit and the otherworld? The five of us in my dream created together an in-between space that extended to the horizon. The effect was instantaneous, like a double layer of realities. The air seemed to be vibrating around me and I could see through the walls of the house. The air seemed thicker, like it was charged with electricity. I could sense invisible presences. LOTS of them. It was freaky, but I was drawing strength from the five and wasn't scared. It was the same as what I'd experienced before, only stronger, more encompassing and more intense. My right arm that I got tattooed last night is a reference to my Tarot cards and it started to rise in the air like it was being pulled by a string. That's when I knew the link between me, paganism, the world and the archetypal gods were all in harmony. We would be able to manipulate reality in the in-between world to clear the house in "normal" reality. So the dream ended when I asked where my cat was in the house. That's when I woke up. Weird, huh? If I were taking a stab at interpreting it, I would say: You feel like the world around you is out of whack. You're drawing on your own resources to return it to some level of normality ( i.e. you recognize your own power and ability ) this is later reinforced in the dream with your arm/tattoo. You see some of your strengths reside in opening doorways for others by "pointing" out the way. In summary, keep talking to strangers :) On your cat, depends on how you perceive her/him in RL. Thanks. Jonathan Posted by: Jonathan on April 1, 2004 09:47 PMSeveral sources today release info/story that Condi Rice was scheduled to make a speech on 9/11/2001 and its content. Some of the blogsters believe the drop in Dubya's ratings gave them permission to start acting like journalists and they believe other stories are to come... that Clarke brought his six-guns into testify and some of friends are totin' (that's their vernacular, not mine!) http://talkingpointsmemo.com is first place I saw it... here are some of Josh Marshall's comments on it (the rest can be seen at his link...) ...Now in a front page piece in Thursday's Washington Post we learn that on September 11th, 2001 Condi Rice was scheduled to deliver a major foreign policy address on missile defense as the centerpiece of a new strategy to combat "the threats and problems of today and the day after, not the world of yesterday." Then reality intruded. As the Post explains, the speech contained little real discussion of terrorism. The only mentions were swipes at the Clinton administration's supposed over-emphasis on transnational terrorism at the expense of more important priorities like missile defense. Perhaps it goes without saying, but let's say it: It was as obvious four years ago as it is today that the most potent threats to America are asymmetric threats, particularly forms of attack that cannot easily be tied back to particular states which we can punish with our conventional military superiority. In plainer speech, the biggest threats we face today are ones that don't come with a return address. An ICBM, which has a launch point that can be determined down to the yard and requires a vast apparatus to get off the ground, really doesn't fit into that category. In any case, this is just another example that they simply failed to understand where the real threat was coming from. That in itself is forgivable. The problem is that they tried to shoehorn 9/11 into their existing paradigm rather than rethink that flawed analysis. -- Josh Marshall [Washington Post article on "found story" can be found: Amazing what Pluto is digging up! Morally, it is the evil passions repressed, the level of conduct raised; spiritually, idols cast down, God enthroned; materially, bread and fair treatment for the greatest number. That is the common formula, the common definition; everybody accepts it and is satisfied with it. Never vote for an incumbent, VW? Not Paul Wellstone? Not John Lewis? Not Robert Byrd? Not that lady from Long Island whose family was damaged by the crazy with a gun on the commuter train? Not Wexler, the House member from FL who is fighting for verified voting? Isn't it best to reward the good public servants and throw out the bad? It is easy to get frustrated. But we should honor those honest men and women who run for office and serve. It isn't an easy thing to do and it is getting harder all the time for those who want to work for the people and not for the corporations.
