TINY PEBBLES
On a JFK 40 year Commemorative Special, Don Hewitt, the Executive Producer of 60 Minutes and a TV Icon, recalled his memories of the Kennedy Assassination. When asked if he thought there was a conspiracy, he said “I don’t know, but I do know that every journalist has been shut out for 40 years and that the people who handled the investigation were either stupid, incompetent, or liars. When he was further asked if it made any difference anymore who shot JFK, Mr. Hewitt replied: “You bet, our government lied to us and we need to know, it’s the principle of the thing.” You know how it is, you are striding along up that mountain everyone is watching, you feel strong, powerful, a master of your destiny. Pretty soon a pebble, just a little one slows your step, you walk a little more gingerly but still smiling. Then another pebble, the smile has changed to a tiny grimace. More pebbles and you are gritting your teeth, holding your breath with every painful step, finally you can hardly walk but if you sit down everyone will know you are not the master of your destiny and people begin to make fun of your original bravado, plus, you can’t figure out how to get off that damn mountain.
I have written over a couple dozen articles in this last month and not able to end one of them, I finally figured out that it’s all open-ended because we in America are still trying to figure out who we are and what we believe. With Solar Arc Warrior Mars rolling over natal America’s South Node we dug into our “war, war, war” past and are finding that war is empty, no real satisfaction there. Saddam is in custody, but if you talk to many people there is a sense of “so what.” The “so what” attitude comes from a vague realization that Saddam really wasn’t our problem, and the question remains “without WMD’s, Saddam gone, the Iraqi people hating us, why are we there?” Oh yes, I remember, we all remember, it is so Halliburton can “skim” the American people. The odd thing about Saddam’s capture (12/13/2003 – 8:30pm) is the positive aspect to his chart, particularly Mars at 28 Pisces in a respective sextile and trine to his Pluto/Jupiter opposition. The November 23rd Eclipse did aspect his 3-degree Sagittarius Moon and I expect his capture or whereabouts was known prior to that eclipse. George Bush’s photo op trip to Baghdad on November 27th was in essence a primitive male impulse to “mark his spot,” effectively showing Saddam that the rule of Iraq had passed to him, at least in his mind. I have no doubt that Saddam was someone’s prisoner before November 27th. Perhaps the Kurds (as reported in the DEBKAfile http://www.debka.com/ ) while they were negotiating for that $25 million dollar reward. It is possible that the Bush Boyz also know where Osama is hiding. He would be a bit more tricky because of his ties to Saudi Arabia and the Royal Family plus the Carlyle Group where until recently the Bush and bin Laden families enjoyed a close business relationship. It gets murky around governments when they are owned by big business. Even as investigative reporting (when we can get it) pops up pockets of political and business slime, other pockets are being created and hidden. We are willing participants in this charade thanks to Mars square Neptune in the US Chart and Mars co-ruling the 12th House along with Pluto the ruler. I believe we will get to see just how slimy and how much power we have given to our leaders. They have us out here fighting over who has our best interests at heart, the Democrats or the Republicans, when both parties need someone to dig into their schemes and corruption. When Pluto hits the opposition to Mars and square to Neptune, we will see just how corrupt we are and have been. The last time Pluto was aspecting those two planets was in 1967/68 and we saw the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bobby Kennedy. Those murders along with JFK still have the smell of possible government involvement. With Pluto in the 1st House, opposing Mars, there is a possibility of learning the truth about our collective selves and making changes or eliminating our social programs and lowering the social expectations of the next generation, it is our choice. Pluto was conjunct Mars at 21 degrees Gemini in 1905, the start of entrenched rapture with anything on the screen, whether that was film or later TV. We have been sitting with our mouths wide open and hearts a flutter at any and all projected screen images. Not only in America but across the world. Massive amounts of money, honor, prestige, and glamour have been conferred on a small group of people who are able to command film time or can manipulate the business of celluloid, fantasy, and illusion. We are hopelessly addicted to all that is not real and Pluto is going to give us an opportunity to break that addiction, or at least see where it led us. The movies, politicians, truth, lies, illusion have all run together in the minds of the American people. This Christmas I have been struck by the apathy and disinterest in the holidays. Could it be possible that materialism is losing its hold on the people. It’s more than a Mercury retrograde because it’s been coming since 2002. Look for signs in your own community of Pluto’s challenge to the illusions that have held us sway for 100 years and those illusions have helped us sweep the dirty laundry of this country under the carpet. CONVENTION BELLS When a Pope dies all the Cardinals enter a sealed enclave supposedly as equals (although not really) and when white smoke appears from the Vatican Towers we know a new Pope has been elected. The world is not privy to the backstabbing and political machinations. The Catholic world suddenly has a newly crowned Christ representative on earth, and we are led to believe that his spiritual walk is above mere man. The Democrats might take a page from that process this year, and get together on what’s important here. They don’t actually seem to have a unified message, and seem to be engaging in sand box fights. Those on the inside of the different campaigns might have a different take, but those of us here on the outside aren’t hearing any real message. I know they are running against George Bush, but what do they want to change, what are they running for? What is the Democratic Platform this year? Do we know? Here in Denver when you call to volunteer all you get back is a request for money; there isn’t any mobilization of the grass roots troops. Try calling the Republicans and asking to volunteer, by return mail you get the name of precinct leaders, contact people, volunteer opportunities etc. What on earth is Terry McAuliffe (3/15/52) doing? It would seem not much, course you can never tell with a Pisces, I hope he has some “magic” up his sleeve, because it looks grim right now. Every single candidate has a foot in the door at this convention; with John Edwards the strongest (that’s not to say he will get it) Howard Dean has his Sun conjuncting the VOC Moon. I want to see Dean as a clean sweep but I do not see it, he has an uphill battle with his own party that could wear him out before the election. Frankly, the Dems seem hell bent on shooting themselves in the foot. Might I suggest that all of you write Terry McAuliffe and voice your concerns. More on both conventions and the New Year next week. THE COLOR ORANGE “Be afraid, be very afraid this Christmas.” Did everyone get the message from our Secretary of Homeland Security? There have been days on end since 9/11 that have been astrologically and energetically terrible, and we have had storms, accidents, the Challenger went down, bombs going off in Iraq and people dying and yes there has been chatter. But three days before Christmas the Grinch in Washington decided to pull the fear string to keep us dancing. I guess before he goes off to Crawford for the holidays he wants us to know we are in grave danger but not to worry the “daddies of the world” are in charge and will keep us safe.” Baloney. Mr. Bush on the other hand probably is scared or feeling some anxiety unless he is on drugs. He is looking for his own Daddy to keep him safe. Pluto is right on his South Node and I know from my own personal client base that when Pluto is on one of the nodes there is fear and anxiety, I doubt if he is the exception. The Asteroid Nemesis is opposing his Saturn and Hebe is conjunct his Saturn, indicating some problems with Dad or another authority figure and making the capture of Saddam seem inconsequential, not the power surge he thought would come. With Mercury retrograde and past the square to the US Natal Saturn and the Mercury of 9/11, I think the “orange alert” is a bit of overkill. A lot of the chatter Tom Ridge is talking about is more directed toward this administration as opposed to the people of America and the boyz are freaked and there are some dangerous looking lines going through Washington, DC on Christmas Day, but this isn’t the only bad day for Washington. The end of December and 1st of January isn’t a good time for George, I still question his health, mental and physical. Capricorn rules his 6th house and Saturn, even retrograde is exactly on his 12th house cusp, opposing the 6th. On January 2nd, the Sun will conjunct the 6th house and Mars will square. Wonder if he got his flu shot. The bad news here is 2004 is going to be a tough year, the good news is it won’t be as hard at 2003 but if this country slides into too big a sigh of relief GWB will win the election. Right now for the best interest of the US, chaos is good. As for Christmas, stand for peace and love within yourselves because that’s where we really find “peace on earth.”

"Chatter" What on earth is "chatter." On one hand they tell us they can track our every sneeze, but they cannot pin down the "chatter." All the intelligence agencies in the world cannot pin down just one of these internet chatterers? Please. No wonder it was the Kurds that pinned Saddam down. Are we in danger? Yes, we are always in danger. Is it more because they put the color orange up? No. We certainly aren't in as much danger as the Afgans and Iraqi's are from us. The danger they are in on a daily basis from the US is real danger and they don't have the luxury of a color coded system. Pluto is not opposing the US Mars just yet, it is opposing GWB's Uranus and conjunct his South Node, he could be in danger. If we survive at all, we must get past this fear every time this administration, who seems to get their kicks from lying to us, tells us they have heard "chatter" more "chatter" than ever, but they cannot tell us what that "chatter" is. They can't tell us whether we shouldn't fly, shouldn't travel, shouldn't go to malls, should buy gas masks, water, duck tape. I cannot get over the feeling of a bunch of yahoos sitting in a conference room and deciding to amuse themselves by telling people right before Christmas that they are in more danger than they were on 9/11. Unless they plan on bombing us themselves they have no idea whether we are in more danger today than we were two years ago. This group reminds me of a story I heard last week from a friend. This friend is a hairdresser and one of the people she works with lost her mother last Thursday. One woman they called was extremely put out and said "well can she come in early Sat. morning just to cut the children's hair?" This is the kind of world our administration lives in, no one is more important than they and no one better steal their thunder. The president has requested more than $166 billion in funding for the war and reconstruction efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan this year. But instead of admitting that he misled the nation about the cost of war, the president has allowed the State Department "to purge the comments by Natsios from the State Department's Web site. When confronted with the dishonest whitewash, the administration decided to lie. A Bush spokesman said the administration was forced to remove the statements because, "there was going to be a cost" charged by ABC for keeping the transcript on the government's site. But as the Post notes, "other government Web sites, including the State and Defense departments, routinely post interview transcripts, even from 'Nightline,'" and according to ABC News, "there is no cost." This story is not the first time the President has tried to hide critical information from the American public. For instance, the president opposed the creation of the independent 9/11 investigative commission2, and has refused to provide the commission with critical information4, even under threat of subpoena5. Similarly, after making substantial budget cuts, the president ordered the government to stop publishing its regular report detailing those cuts to states6. And when confronted with a continuing unemployment crisis, the president ordered the Department of Labor to stop publishing its regular mass layoff report. It is also not the first time the administration has sought to revise history and public records when those records become incriminating. As the Post reports "After the insurrection in Iraq proved more stubborn than expected, the White House edited the original headline on its Web site of President Bush's May 1 speech, "President Bush Announces Combat Operations in Iraq Have Ended," to insert the word 'Major' before combat." They have de moth balled a lot of missles and have them ready to fire with nuclear war heads. They are able to hit 6,000 miles away. (Anyone know how far we are from Moscow). It does not seem that trians bring about winning anymore than squares, etc. Also I see Gephart winning Iowa, Dean sweaping victory in New Hampshire and Super Tuesday as a toss up. I will soon see if I called them right. Jean, you are right about "trines and sextiles" but the reason they often times don't bring success (just as squares and oppositions do or can bring success) is it depends what is going on in the natal or pre-natal chart. A trine or sextile to a debilitated planet will set off the debilitation. That is why you can get hard results from seemingly easy transits. Also too many trines or sextiles in a persons natal chart can make the lazy, things just come to them so easy and they never develop survival skills. My foreboding isn't that the people won't wake up, or that the neo-cons won't fail, my concern is it won't be before the election. As I've said before, this whole process has nothing to do with Bush, it has to do with us (the collective us) I am so frustrated with the fear we all have and our unwillingness to give up the illusion that these people can protect us and their ability to rattle us with their color coding system. I am also bothered by the free-for-all in the Democratic Party, that won't help the Dems. (Don't know where I got it or how accurate it is.) Anyway on Jan 1 there is a T square of Sun opposit Saturn square Mars at 9 Aries. On the DC chart the mid point of Mars and Pluto is 9 Aries. On the US chart the mid point of Mars and Pluto is 9 Aries. Also Transiting Pluto is conjnct the DC chart Sun. No I don't think anything will happen because of the neptune effects in the chart. The transiting south node is square to the US sun neptune midpoint and transiting Venus is square US Jupiter Neptune midpoint. Transiting Uranus is opposite US Sun saturn mid point. Transiting Saturn is conjunct US Sun Jupiter midpoint. The DC chart I used was for Dec 12, 1800. I have looked all over the place for my whitehouse chart but can't find it, but it was built at that time cause Abigale Adams had moved in already. They come from a psycological place where the male was head of the household, the provider and keep his wife and children "in their place." They are under the illusion that Bush will give it back to them. They also see Bush as a former screw up that has become president and it gives them hope. They don't realize that their jobs are going because of Bush, rather dwell in the illusion that he is a stong father figure. So psycologically it will come down to if at election time they still want the strict father figure or the nuturing, giving father represented by Dean. I am hoping that their respect for the family doctor may just make the edge that Dean needs. Something that I have noticed. The majority of the country are just getting to see Dean-as opposed to us political junkies. The more that see him, the higher his ratings go. He is double digits ahead of the pack, country wide in the latist polls. Who he is bringing in is young people. 25% of those for him are under 25 or 30-forgot which. His campaign crew is very young, averaging about 27. I still say that his Sun trian Saturn on the day the electorial college votes may show him as the next president. It isn't that the scandals aren't there, or the issues on the table indeed, some of the issues could be fodder for a court of law, but the Democrats are not really beating the drums (they are fighting each other) and the media keeps letting the lies and corruption abound.
