The “money” is flowing straight from the people into the GWB political bank. Not a week goes by that we aren’t treated to a financial accounting of how much George has raised. We aren’t given just a weekly run down but an hourly accounting. I believe last weekend he raised $500,000 an hour. In the same paper or newscast we are told how high unemployment has risen and a new round of cuts in corporations will be necessary. They say that everyone loves a winner, and to make money you must seem to have money. We are reminded of this every time one of his ads “pop-up” on our computer screen. Can a man who controls the Supreme Court, the Congress, the media, and the corporations be brought down in a year and a half? It would seem that while we, the people, are hurling stones at the present situation, they are throwing boulders back at us. So is our fight with Bush or with money. Is there even a two party system anymore? Almost all of Congress is worth over a million dollars; there isn’t any “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” at this point in history, let’s be honest, the Robber Barons have taken complete control. The middle class is losing ground fast.

That’s the bad news, the good news is this has happened before in history and the “money” lost out. This administration is wildly spinning out of control, a twirling dervish, like a drunk who believes they can drive a straight line. Let me again remind you of the quote “those whom the gods would destroy, they first elevate.”
Morgana very succinctly and concisely summed up the New Moon. To briefly recap, it was Void of Course. Oh Dear! It wasn’t simply VOC it was also conjunct the last Solar Eclipse before GWB was born. In fact his "birth eclipse" was only one of two Solar Eclipse this century at 7 degrees Cancer (the other was in 1908) And the Fixed Star Alhena sits directly upon that 7 degree Cancer, a bright star, thought to confer honor, love of ease and pleasure. It has also been thought that like Calgon, it will take all those things away from those who misuse the energy. And another “oh dear” Saturn will be going over that 7 degrees of Cancer, and that is thought to produces losses. This is not tallying up to a pleasant vacation in Crawford next month. Adding to this “witches brew,” will be Mars and Saturn in Perihelion (squaring GWB Neptune) and Mercury Out of Bounds (lots of information coming our way and we need to pay close attention.
The collective mind is an interesting piece of work; the most amazing things come out of it in the most amazing ways. Ann Coulter has recently written a book about the nostalgia for the McCarthy years and how he was misunderstood and was a really decent guy with the best interests of the country in his heart. Actually, the content of the book is unimportant, the title however tells us a lot about the collective mind. The title of her book is TREASON! In the last two weeks, the word “treason” in regard to GWB has been used along with the word “impeach,” and “war criminal.” Put that one aside and save it for a rainy day, because the day is coming. Even if George wins again (and I wouldn’t bet on it yet) Claudia Dikinis reminds me that the Inauguration of 2005 would indicate he wouldn’t be there long.
Mars will soon square the US Uranus and will do so more than once making its last square in November and at the same time squaring the 9 degree Gemini Solar Eclipse from May 2003. Looks like we are in for a few more shocks from this White House, as Mars will also oppose GWB’s Mars and Progressed Sun. Do we dare hope to have a national epiphany?
Right now America has become reactionary as we desperately try to adjust from one shock to another, this new moon has the potential for the energy to shift as we slowly (Saturn produces a slow reaction) turn our attention to the obscenity of “money vs. poverty.”
The New Moon of June is at 7 degrees Cancer in the 9th house, we are looking for nurturing, caring, and a return to “the good ole days,” of ice cream socials, wide verandas, and the lazy hazy days of summer. The Moon just passed over Saturn, and Saturn is conjunct the US Venus and Mars is in a slow amble through Pisces, conserving his energy as he moves closer and closer to earth, bubbling up trouble someplace. Pisces is associated with water, oil and also rules the feet. Do we interpret this to mean we will be slogging through water, our foundations are flooded, or will we just be walking more and driving less as the “oil” situation doesn’t work our as planned and gas is too high for short trips. Saturn in Cancer in a trine to Uranus in Pisces gives the people the opportunity to think not only about their safety and security but the safety of others.
Mars in a trine to the US Venus gives us a little promise of a more stable financial market, however once Mars passes the trine to Venus completely in Oct. 2003 and Saturn still opposes our 2nd house I expect we will begin to see the problems in the housing market (our base) surface like slime rising to the top. There is right now billions to be lost in bad second and third mortgages, remember the Savings and Loan Scandals. Hmmmm, another Bush scam.
I am told by my friends in the mortgage industry that the industry is on the verge of falling now and there will be tons of people holding the bag when it goes.
It’s been my observation and experience that the longer a transit goes on the more worn out we get. The focus has been on Saturn hitting the USA and GWB Sun and it does indeed do all that. However, before it gets to his second Saturn Return next year, it will also square his Neptune, Chiron, Moon, and Jupiter, THEN it hits his Saturn Return. Mars moving into Aries in late December promises the New Year to be very difficult for him. Difficult and dangerous. You can also count on that Cancer/Libra feeling very sensitive to slights, snapping and blaming everyone in his sight. Political pundits say GWB cannot be beaten, we forget how fast public opinion can shift in this country.
I have recently had Saturn square my Neptune and Moon and I can tell you that I am super sensitive and very low energy. I am certain that no one loves me and I'm not sure I love anyone else. All that and I don't have a public "Leo" Ascendant that needs to attack when I am wounded.
Blair will not survive, he will either have to resign or be thrown out by his own party, and I believe the end of his term with either come this November, or in the summer of 2004. For his own safety, he would be better served if he steps down in the fall. And the next PM will not want to be seen as George’s lap dog. Nightline had a program with the British stating the US should not count on their support for any other program involving military action that this administration might have in mind, including Iran, Syria and North Korea. Blair is trying to make a friend out of Putin and he needs all the friends he can muster right now.
Karl Rove’s dark night of the soul has begun as well as Rumsfeld and Powell. Rumsfeld will have to answer for “no can find WMD’s” and Powell will have to answer for Israel.
Iraq is a mess and getting worse everyday Mars AND Uranus are opposing Iraq’s Pluto, and Pluto will win this war. Paul Bremer (the Presidential Envoy to Iraq) said in a BBC interview that if necessary “we will come down hard on the people of Iraq.” Looks like the government’s refrain to Iraq will be “You Don’t Send Me Flowers Anymore.”

The people of Iraq hate us and will be doing all they can to get us out of there and it won’t be long before the US Army will see the necessity for moving on. The presidency that has been so desperate to “save face” in all situations will find it an impossible task. Are you chuckling Bill Clinton?
We as a nation, in fact most cultures have seen money as our “god” and people with money as “godly.” Uranus goes back to Aquarius and gives the US Moon, progressed Sun and progressed Mercury one last shot, and gives the people of this country another turn at revolution. Another turn at making the democracy started over 200 years ago, a reality.
CANDIDATE UPDATES
The last person from Arkansas who was running for President, waited until October of 1991 to announce his intentions. Wesley Clark is the most recent Son of Arkansas who is reported to be thinking about running, but has not announced and says very little about it, neither “yea nor nay.” His birthday is 12.23.1944, Little Rock, Arkansas. His second Saturn Return comes up this summer and I don’t expect to hear from him regarding his objectives until this fall. When Bush came to office he was likened to McKinley (and he’s more like McKinley than he realizes) McKinley’s progressed planets were almost exactly GWB’s natal planets when Bush was handed the election.
Armed with that knowledge and the knowledge that the same energy just keeps swirling around earth, McKinley served one term and was assassinated six months into his second term (2nd term Inauguration on 3/4/1901, died 09/14/1901.) If the McKinley energy were around to finish out that second term, GWB would serve 3 years six months of his term or only serve six months of the next. In which case we would be looking for a Teddy Roosevelt and actually Al Gore is the only candidate to fit that bill. Will Gore be lured back for another go around? Hard to tell, but I don’t think he has said he wouldn’t accept a draft. Don’t count Gore out. You can also expect the Republicans to start coming down hard on Dean and will pull out all the stops to discredit him, remember what they did to McCain.
Ralph Nadar is considering another run. His own dreams of ruling the world (Pluto square Jupiter) will be dimmed when Saturn conjuncts his Pluto and squares his Jupiter. At the last election (if you remember) Mercury was retrograde and VOC, and Ralph did throw a monkey wrench into the pot. Ralph has always had dreams of bringing down the “big guys,” unfortunately he didn’t bring down the bullies. I’m thinking that a couple of the players of the last election might be back and with the same results, Ralph doesn’t bring down the bullies, he just gives them another leg up, without raising anyone consciousness.
PS I have always said that I am a person who feels sorry for the underdog, and when I felt sorry for Bush he was in big big trouble nationally. I'm not quite there, but last week I did have one or two moments of feeling sympathy for him. Well maybe not "moments" but a second or two. This is good news.

Should the similarities to McKinley be a concern? If GWB were to not complete his term, that would mean that Dick Cheney would become the President and I have to believe that could actually be worse than our current situation. If it occurs late in this term (i.e. close to election day), is it possible that the Cheney administration gets the sympathy of the American voters? If it occurs early in his second term, then we'd be stuck with a very reactionary administration for about 3 years. Based on Dick Cheney's birthdata, should this scenario be a major concern?
There are several possibilities. One is Bush filling out the McKinley term, which if taken from March 4, 1901, McKenley served six months, giving Bush until Aug/Sept/Oct. 2004 2004, or we take it from Jan. 20, 2001, also giving him until June/July (roughly)If I look at the fact that McKinley actually was serving from the Nov Election of 1900, he served 10 months after that election, also making the Sept. date problematic. If he follows McKinley's progress, he will be re-elected in Nov. and serve 10 months.
One note is Bush in Dec./January 2004 goes into a very dangerous period and again in the fall of 2004. It doesn't have to be "death" it can be impeachment and his whole cabinet goes with him and we must start all over in picking a President. Congress is going to be faced with some tough decisions in the fall of 2003 and again 2004. Congress first convened in New York the House on 4/1/1789 and the Senate on 4/6/1798. Those charts show considerable problems and thorny issues throughout 2003 and 2004 plus a loss of respect.
On Nov. 17, 1800 they jointly opened their sessions for the first time in Washington DC, another problem riddled chart. Congress itself will be under attack from the people. They will be trying to save their own jobs and could have problems doing so.
Cheney would be named as President obviously in the gap, but I don't think he will run, they could possibly name Jeb Bush as the candidate, but Jeb would be having a Saturn square his Saturn and oppose his Moon. I am more likely to think it's a scandal a big one (as if we don't already have big ones now) that turns the people. I go back to the fact that GWB, Dad and Grandfather all have progressed Suns on GWB's Mars at 9 degrees Virgo. There is a dynasty problem here. Particularly with Mars going back and forth in opposition to that 9 degree point and in Perihlion.

Well it looks as if the Bush 'recovery' is right on schedule. Not!!!!!!!
Does the following article surprise anyone? This has been a long time coming in the US and most of us are following along like sheep. Without some kind of organized revolution is there anyway to stop this ball rolling? They couldn't stop it in other countries who have allowed themselves to go down the same path. Will we all become docile and do what we are told just so we can survive? I hope not and I look for signs every day that says we, as a nation, will stand up to it all.

Awesome albeit brief description of what is really going on here...also Lucy's link above to vedic predictive astrology site - what I read without having membership access included that in vedic astrology there is a price to be paid for not acting on one's true dharma - and I am trying to find my strength - not to add fuel to the fire but to add my drop to the bucket...from Lucy's link...and I pray alot - mindful of my thoughts - it is important to BE peace when we must act...I was reading some of an earlier biography about Gandhi - it was clear to me he understood he was a necessary instrument to intercede on behalf of so many millions of impoverished indians made powerless by their poverty - weary and often abused. My local news (NBC - I think - ?) quoted Kucinich - I took it as a very good sign. I must do my part but I believe we will need some very strong souls to help us through and Kucinich is one - and I do not think it matters as much who will be President but who will be our spiritual leaders...My mother has also seen this current catastrophe as clear as ever - speaks like Hammud - and has been my source of strength on a personal level - I believe our elders will help us remember from where we come. I agree. This willingness to agree with the administration is disconcerting. With today's increase in the unemployment rate, the Secretary of Labor, Ms. Chao, tried to spin it as a positive thing that more people were looking for jobs than before.

My reference to my feelings with Saturn was to point out how Saturn affects each one of us, including GWB, because my Asc. is in Libra I would handle it differently than a Leo Asc. with Cancer on the 12th. His Sun AND Moon will be completely aspected in 2004. He will feel depressed, low energy, energy pulled in, just like everyone does with Saturn aspects, but his response will be one of snappishness, irritablity, defensive, self rightousness, reclusive. Others, like me, handle it differently. As an example I watched the old movie "I Remember Mama" for those of you who remember that movie. My Moon rules my 10th house and Saturn my 4th, so I went to the happy memories of my family and nostaliga. I was looking at a picture of my mother and started crying and my oldest son, not knowing what to do, said "Mom, is this a menopause thing?" That will not be Bush's experience.
He will have some inner fears about his competency and childhood subconscious fears of not being good enough. While Neptune is still affecting his chart, Saturn will inconjunct from Cancer and the "murky bottom" this administration has been drifting toward will suddenly clear and the slime is showing. They don't know how to be anything but defensive and secret, these men have long ago lost their "spiritual" way, and being authentic isn't part of their skill set.
I do the same thing with some movies. I think that is one reason I can't watch scary movies. I relate and the conciousness that creates them doesn't make me cry but horrifies me.
I wonder what they watch in the White House?

Well Sally, you've managed to write another great article despite feeling a bit under the weather. Maybe you are pushing yourself too hard, and need to slow down and pamper yourself. Better get that energy level back up, 'cause you'll be needing it when we all get together at this website to celebrate Bush's fall from grace, for as Joanna O said in no uncertain terms back when, "bushie's goin' down".
I think the author of that piece from the informationclearinghouse website that you provided the link to, might be on to something. Don't know how you found it, but I hope lots of people get the opportunity to read it.
The Iraq debacle plus the sick economy/unemployment are shaping up to be Bush's Waterloo in the upcoming elections, although so far I don't see any Democratic candidate presenting a strong case on these issues. Bush needs to be hounded the way the Repubs hounded the Clintons while they were in the White House.
Something I learned many years ago as Pluto was tramping through all my Scorpio, is one can never appreciate heaven unless they've seen hell. I read something tonight that reminded me of that understanding and that is "the dark and painful always gives way to peace and light." I firmly believe the "peace and light" will be born out of this period of time. When I wrench myself away from "look what they did today" I see that peace slowly making its way across the earth. True, I would like it to be as fast as a Burger King burger, but those made us fat and unhealthy we are told. I think with all the information coming out in the last couple of years will make its way to the inner consciousness we all share (well maybe not Ann Coulter) and get to the better part of ourselves.
I have a journalist friend in Florida who is very liberal, and she listens to Limbaugh every day to see what is being said and bases her columns on rebuttals. Tonight she said "you know, even if it is for work, listening to these people is not emotionally healthy." Believe it or not we are changing and Bush has been a catalyst for us all. He and his friends play the "hell" part, it's up to us to find the "heaven."

I believe the shadow is a part of the light. And the light eventually swallows the dark. It's all timing of the Universe and we have the opportunity learn in the meanwhile here at Earth University. Civilizations have come and gone before.
About a month before 911 I walked along the NYC streets and could feel the energy of the 'walking sleepers' of conciousness. I thought 'they think they are celebs for no work and no effort and something BIG is needed for the wake up call'. I did not wish for 911 but could feel it coming and was not surprised. Did not GWB brag he got to be our President with 'c' grades? GHB was a nasty ,cynical president and still is as a civilian (?). This 'trickled down' into the collective.
Americans are fickle people. We put 'em on pedestals and then a while later down they all come. Why? Good story telling I guess. As an addictive society it needs those juicy stories to fill in the empty gaps that languish without personal inner work. GWB hopefully will be seen in history as the turning point in our collective spiritual growth.
I believe tha 'Anti-Christ' or anti -light is the collection of these dark souls in power right now all over the world. Not one person.
I have Saturn opposite my NNode, Sun, MC, Mercury, progressed Venus and I am tired, tired, tired. Reclusive and enjoying it without that lonely feeling.

I am out in the world as an author and illustrator of children's books. I meet hundreds of elementary students each year when I visit schools, libraries and musueums. Also teach adults at conferences and ALWAYS teach nature.
There's alot of grassrooters out there and hopefully our lessons 'trickle' into the collective of the next generations.

since you guys (gals actually, lol) mentioned the polarity aspects at war, I just wanted to add that I think we all need to relax and maintain inner peace, because the most beautiful rainbows only occur after some of the worst storms.
Bhakti, your description of NY before 9/11 was just beautiful. I loved the analogy of the "anti-light," how perfect. I read an article out of Europe that questioned whether Bush was the anti-christ. I doubt it, while they certainly seem to have put their names up for that prize, I think they are more likely to be just "anti-light." And the "anti-light" people seem to come along every so often, and I still believe him to be a "shill" for the "shadow."
I am amazed by the information revealed about those in the background and there is a wonderful opportunity for exposure and people all over the world taking their power back from those who would control us. I had a very wealthy great aunt and lived with her for awhile, her friends were part of that group who control from the dark and they feel the only thing to fear is the people rising up. Some of them believe that the only way to control is though fear and others believe the people can be better controlled through a little prosperity and peace, they are at war always among themselves.
I cannot help but feeling that the Bush Dynasty, particularly GWB and the group who surrounds him believe they have the power to make a run at ruling it all and having it all. I just feel that they have gotten out of control and will be punished by their own.

Sally - recall that Kennedy in a public speech referred to the "Gnomes of Zurich" being the ones who really ran our world. Think that's what killed him. With his daddy, like your aunt, he knew the shadow people existed. Likely met most of them.
I think the "gnomes" did indeed have Kennedy killed. IF all the articles I have researched the last 25 years are true, the CIA in the United States are a tool of the "gnomes" and possibly Scotland Yard.
I'm thinking if Bush pulled our troops out of Iraq the whole WMD thing would go away. BUT they aren't going to do that. Bush acts as if he already has the election in the bag, makes me wonder about the voting machines. I think we the people, may need to drive them all out.

While our hearts are still left to wait with GW and friends at the helm...I know our despair will surely help us define what we want...I heard pieces of Kucinich speech on radio yesterday as he spoke in Santa Fe NM - north of my home town...one young woman said it was life changing for her as a young person - she feels younger people especially feel despondent and discouraged about politics and hearing him speak was amazing and she could not believe he was a Democrat!(She had never heard of him before he came to town!) Now I am not trying to put him on a pedestal but I heard some of what he said and I cried - more those healing tears when someone has the nerve to say what everyone needs to hear - that helps empower people...rather than control them through their insecurities...His impact is somehow different then Nader's though I used to cry when he talked about a livable wage...Kucinich is going to give direction to the democratic party...I believe he sees through those empty and crippling labels of right vs. left, liberal vs. conservative - He spoke of Americans as independents...and I knew he was one of us - human and mortal. I know your analysis of him was in a different article but I agree with your interpretation and though I know America is not ready for him ...they will hear him. Graham I think has his heart in the best of places but you don't hear as much about him...The misuse of personal power by this administration is I think sinking in to people's consciousness - too slowly for my taste ...Saturn in Cancer makes me think we have as a country been witholding our love from the world for too long...enough said...I wish everyone here the best - I read somewhere that since Pluto has no major transits this year people have more of an ability to rise up against the powers that be...If that is true may it help us...

Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism." I saw this idiot on CNBC and even "the talking heads" couldn't take her seriously - Jeez resurrecting the ghost of Joe McCarthy. The last time Chiron entered Capricorn was 2/10/1951 finally exiting on 1/28/1955 - this time Chiron is taking no prisoners. Neither will Alhena as the march toward truth continues.

Then I wonder how soon or if these propaganda-drenched wives will figure it out?!? Wonder what their busbands will tell 'em when & IF they come home?! Then I think about the everlasting suffering American South (that has always been heavily invested in both images) will fare as the long-time mental & spiritual basis of their world erodes like the proverbial sand castle in the rolling incoming high tide.
Having been raised in Oklahoma, which frequently proudly declares itself the "Belt Buckle of the bible belt, I was always fairly sickened with the notion that Jesus' primo "Father" required the brutal torture & death of "his son" to, you know... be reconciled to "his other kids." Gimme a break!

The ignorance and self-entitled statement that one base-wife (base is the word) could not understand why the Iraquis would not want the USA version of democracy. That the Iraquis acted with a lack of gratitude is beyond beyond reality.
Here in the good ol' USA I pay taxes and have a checking account (do not stand on line at the Post Office paying my bills with money orders) yet cannot afford the obscene premiums for proper health care and do not fit the requiremements to get Medicare/aid. As an artist I fall through the cracks of society. Just as well or I might have turned into a Stepford. And it made me grow up and learn how to take care of myself like a good parent would.
I believe in the Wheel of Karma and we sow what we reap. I think for some (not all) the service was another way of not dealing with growing, that Big Daddy gov't would provide everything. Now the Emperor's clothes are off. And the truth hurts.
I do not believe that Big Daddy gov't truly cares for it's servicepeople like a good parent. Our current Reich is an addictive, dyfunctional Dead Beat Dad/Mom. It wants its uneducated drones in lockstep to it's beating propaganda drum. I wish these women should cause a mutiny at that base and not keep their mouths shut. Are they given drugs too? Those soldiers are hyped up on something and they will need all the drugs they can get to endure the hell they created in their own lives by believing in Big Daddy/Mom. Apple pie turned rancid don't you think?

Joanna's post and those who read her article must see the seriousness of the situation we are in right now. I am struck by the fact that Teddy Roosevelt followed McKinley, FDR followed Hoover, and I am hopeful that someone of that quality will follow GWB. We have the internet and that is giving us more information than we have ever had concerning what is happening. We must stand up if we don't want to reap the whirlwind GWB will reap (his Sun conj. US Sun squaring US Saturn in the 10th house) There hasn't been a more important moment for the people since the revolution. Do what ever you can. Write Congressmen, letters to newspapers, give to a candidate, even if it's $5.00 or $10.00, even if it's $1.00. It's not good enough right now to write letters to like minded people.
